Hillary Clinton Attacks MoveOn
By: Jane Hamsher Friday April 18, 2008 2:30 pm

"Hillary Slams Democratic Activists." I'm being told that Hillary Clinton was caught on tape disparaging Barack Obama because he's being supported by MoveOn, and that they opposed military action in Afghanistan. I've tried to stay out of the pie fights of late, but as a long-term defender of MoveOn and other progressive organizations -- this is completely unacceptable. I defended Hillary Clinton when she refused to bow to right wing pressure and condemn MoveOn over the "General Betrayus" ad (and was sad when she finally capitulated). MoveOn are valuable progressive partners, who have been with us on Donna Edwards, net neutrality, trying to bring an end to the war, FISA and other issues we've been fighting for.

They've accepted the challenge of organizing the left in the virtual arena and done an amazing job that the right struggles to replicate. They now have 3 million members, of which I'm one. And their skill at online organization and movement building has developed a model that both of the Democratic candidates have been able to replicate and learn from, acting as a democratizing influence and making candidates more responsive to the public at large and less to high dollar donors. MoveOn didn't oppose military action in Afghanistan but I did.

Not because I thought it was the wrong thing to do but because I was quite certain George Bush would bungle it and we'd just wind up spending billions on a bunch of junk that would make his buddies rich and a lot of poor people in the poorest country in the world would die senselessly. And I was right.

Does Hillary Clinton not want my vote either?

Comment by Obamaaaaaabots

I see someone scratching his face. Get your mind out of the mud. There is no way any candidate would give someone the finger!!! Especially when being filmed. I'm not a Democrat but I follow the campaign. Spreading that when you know it is false is slanderous!!!!!

Substance Abuse
A widely forwarded e-mail claims that Obama’s bills are more substantive and numerous than Clinton’s. Don’t believe it.

Obama’s Oil Spill
Obama says he doesn’t take money from oil companies. We say that’s a little too slick.

Barack Hussien Obama
Wright
Rezko
Farrakhan
William Ayers
Black Phanther
Malcolm X

They are the same kind or type of people.
It is up to you now to decide what is best for our country.

"Birds of the same feathers flock together."
"Tell me your friends are, and I tell you who you are."

What a scary thought ahead for our country...
Think people... think...

Just in case you haven’t seen it I want you to know what our “future president” and the man the DNC is forcing upon us is all about.

Listen to the crowd and decide for yourself. This was his response to getting boot-stomped in the debate last night. Hillary supporters spread this like the plague that the Obama campaign has become.

The British people are proud of their governments health care program.

The British government signed the KYOTO treaty because they care about the earth that we all live upon.

Most American are looking forward to having a universal health care for their citizens and most American definitely care about the earth and what we are doing to it., after all it is our home if we destroy it, where do our great granchildren live.

These are two good reasons why most Americans will vote for Hillary R. Clinton for the next president of America, a president who cares about Americans and their future.
