EJ, you should look at the actual returns first before you say that Michelle Obama is hiding “earned income” What the article is calling “earned income” is W-2 income and you can’t hide that, the employer sends in the W-2, and why would you want to, the taxes are already taken out. Anything not on the W-2 if not interest or capital gains type of stuff is business income. Michelle’s business income was $29,443 as a director and the company would have sent in a 1099 on that. I remember some goofy information circulating that she made $200,000 as a director of something and that’s apparently not true. Salary for a US senator is $169300 per year, so Michelle’s salary was 91,435.

Nationally Latest Rasmussen Poll 4/16/08 has it McCain 47 Obama 43. this poll is of course worthless because it reflects the popular vote. Electorial Votes are what counts.

Florida Latest Rasmussen Poll 4/10/08 has it mcCain 53 Obama 38.

Ohio Latest Rasmussen Poll 4/8/08 has it mcCain 47 Obama 40.

Florida by 15 points and Ohio by 7 points.

Lose either one of these states and you are not going to win.

the only stradegy that makes any sense is for obama to start blaming hillart and labeling the voters of these two states racists. He’s managed to beat hillary using this method, why stop now?

Obama was asked point blank why he doesn’t wear a flag pin. He deflected by saying he reveres the flag…this is distraction, let’s discuss the issues. He didn’t answer the question although he has stated why in the past.

Obama was asked whether an attack on Israel is an attack on the US. He offered, Israel is an ally…Iran should understand…no option is off the table..in essence, non-commital deflection. By contrast Hillary was quite explicit. An attack on Israel by Iran would be met with severe reciprocation.

When issues were brought up…Obama was asked about no new taxes. He said not only no new taxes but tax cuts to the middle class. Then capital gains was brought up. Obama in fact implied there would be new taxes. He also was offered, that when capital gains tax was decreased, revenue went up. Obama (and this was a hoot) said this time it would be different. Why?..he had no answer, and his earning threshhold fluctuated from 90,000 to 250,000. He was caught out. Hillary (wrongly) said NO NEW TAXES point blank.
