boy this guy is an arrogant self serving, lying A** hole… oops I guess he does have all the qualifications of a good politician….I’ll shake your hand, look you straight in the eyes and lie to your face… promises you can believe in… as long as I get into the white house…

his arrogance may become his archilles heal… his REAL personality is starting to show and I noticed his demeanor is becoming more “ethnic”… he needs to get his neck roll down and then he’s pure ghetto with a degree…

such a shame; we all had hopes he was going to be our savior… seeing the real obama now and don’t like what I see…

He thinks he is a good at lying. If elected he will be another Jimmy Carter, a terrorist butt kisser.

The true Hillary Clinton supporters will NOT vote for Obama in the General Election.

I will NEVER vote for Obama.

I have never in my life voted republican but McCain is looking better all the time.

How people and the media can look people right in the eyes and say Obama wasn’t saying anything

bad when he said people in small towns cling to their guns and religion because they are bitter.

( And even worse) they are against “people who are not like us and we are anti-immigrant.

These are racist remarks made in a private meeting that was closed to the public.

These remaks are Obama’s true feelings.

But…once again he is allowed to say, he was misunderstood, he didn’t mean it that way, people

took it out of context, he stated it the wrong way.

I am so sick of this racist liar.

For all of you Obama naysayers. Obama already knows that when the Lord is for you the world can’t do you no harm.

Comment by Bono

All i can say is WOW!

Is this the FUTURE PRESIDENT OF OUR COUNTRY???

His arrogance is somewhat liken to George W. Bush???

Obama said: “Let me make one last point about the comparison to McGovern and Dukakis, both excellent men, but I’m a pretty darn good politician. And I can give a pretty good speech and I can connect and inspire the American people in ways that I think will become apparent. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t pretty good at mixing it up. And so much of the attack machine that’s been built up is part of the old politics.”

Click here to watch Obama say he’s a pretty darned good politician.

This guy is thinking that he can hypnotize every American BECAUSE HE’S DARN GOOD POLITICIAN!!!

America WAKE-UP!!!

Comment by Cynthia

If Hilliary Clinton can misspeak about being under sniper fire (on at least 3 occasions) and you see the video - surely you Obama naysayers can give him the benefit of the doubt.

Comment by sue

As long as Teflon Coated Obama continues to get a free pass from the media which allows him to spin his fantasies unchallenged, he will look like a great politician. Lack of serious examination will make this appear to be so.

The media will continue to sugar coat everything negative that comes out about him and will suppress whatever they can. However, his gravity defying aerial act will soon come to an end.

I’m beginning to think that there is a hard core group of true believers that buy into Obama’s act no matter what. There is absolutely nothing this man could ever do or say that would convince those people that he is an abysmal choice for President. They will continue to follow the yellow brick road until they find out as Dorothy did that the Wizard is a fraud.

Comment by Hawk

Actually, I think it’s great the media is giving barack a pass on two levels:
1. he feels encouraged to say more increasingly outrageous and stupid things, and
2. he is kept in the race, besting clinton, who is looking to be the stronger opponent against McCain every day.

Comment by Hawk

Let the media give him a pass. It’s actually a good thing because:
1. it encourages obama to make increasingly arrogant, outrageous, and stupid things
2. it forces the elimination of clinton, the stonger opponent against McCain in the GE

What is wrong with being confident? Sen. Barack Obama is right about “old politics.” We need to get back to the basics, listen to the people of which are being represented here in America. We are culturally diversed. Let’s recognize and respect that and move forward.

It’s going to take Senator Barack Obama’s confidence, determination, and stick-to-it ness (if that’s a word) to repair the damage that has been done in and to America over the years.

Let’s stop and be honest with ourselves and others - we must look at effective problem solving ideas and innovative enhancement opportunities to redirect the future of America. This man is willing to take the lead. We should be willing to join the team and help make America better for all.

“We The People - Yes We Can” (Sen. Barack Obama for President of the USA)

Nothing special, only news is that he talked to Rev, but rest more repeats. Moreover its noteworthy how he panders jewish vote, there is even a jewish-obama support group, but thats politics too, thou shall not critisize Israel. In beginning he had a more realistic tone for bringing people together. Amazing how Gaza, Israel never has been brought up. Next president has to deal with this too.

Comment by M. Greene

So when the press asked Hillary Clinton whether she told Richardson that Obama could not win the general election and she said “I know that I can win” without answering the question, I guess that also was “arrogant.” When Obama expresses confidence in himself given unfavorable comparisons, it is not “arrogant” or “elitis,” but what he must do. As a potential nominee, he has to inspire confidence and he does. What should he have said - “I am doomed to walk in McGovern and Dukaksis’ shoes so I should withdraw now.” Of course not. He also has to strongly reject unfavorable comparisons. BTW, he is nothing like McGovern or Dukakis!

Comment by Julie

Obama states he can give a good speech. So can Farrakan. So can Pastor Wright. But does that really matter? No it doesn’t count for anything. What matters Mr. Obama is you have too much baggage that cannot be emptied (PAstor Wright number one). I do see an arrogance also in this man. I don’t know why, but nice gets on my last nerve these days. McCain laid his life on the line for our country and so that alone gives him passage to be the leader of it. He hasn’t any Muslims in his family or atheists so that alone makes him more qualified. And people, that is alot. Too risky to vote for a good speaker. Maybe Obama can be “speaker of the House”.

Obama is a pretty good Politician, he says it and that’s the truth!! you folks do not understand, his faith allows him to speak the truth so much that it sometimes, in the eyes of others, sound arrogant or elitist. This guy has been attacked at every corner, his words twisted in all perspectives just to make him look bad. He has anwered questions people believed he never could. The bottom line is, he is a good politician. Some of u Clinton supporters just have to start gracefully conceeding the defeat. Why do people have to compare him with McGovern or John McCain? U see, people wanna finish him at all angles. He has to start going on the offensive now and not always on the defensive. Am happy he is begining to get it. Sometimes he just has to say things that make some folks angry. Not everything Hillary has said is good. so what! She has lied time and again.
God has a plan for everybody, and i think Obama answered God’s call at 3 A.M and God told him, ” My son, run for the presidency coz this is the only time u could become President”. U folks don’t forget, OBAMA was never known!! now he’s pushing Hillary out of the race.

Comment by Kim

What’s wrong with you people? He was trying to be funny. Some of you on the this blog are scary. What are you so afraid of? Obama will be better than Bush for sure. Just give the guy a chance. I’m not so callous that I would vote against a candidate because I don’t like them. I’m voting for my country. A true patriot would do that. So whether you like the candidate or not, vote against war. Vote against high gas prices, vote for a better housing market or better schools. That’s what I’m voting for. It’s not about the person. That has been Obama’s message. That’s why he’s winning. It’s not about him. It’s about AMERICA.

Comment by ari

that was what 30+ years ago. what has he accomplished since then, you cant just keep on going and going referring to vietnam, since that time we had sevear conflicts. He served his country and now is politician in different format.

Comment by Frank Cameron

One can never go agaist human nature.I mean you can not go against yourself, indee this aplies to the way you think about any politician racing for a post in special to the white house. The human nature trends to forget somehow about those who had help you once in life once you crown a personal ambition. Obama,Hillary nor Mc Cain would not be an exception when they sit on the paresidential chair. In general, whoever wins the election in the long run as they get used to the flavor of power will suffer from amnesia forgetting at least some of those who aided them to climb the high office. And why not…they have a human nature…or not? Therefore let’s be objective an don’t expect more that what they have promised. Remember they are rational animals best known as “human creatures ” and don’t fool yourself, you are not any better than they are,you would do the same as they if you were in their shoes or even worth, maybe better but,no so much. LET’S VOTE FOR ONE OF THEM TO PRESERVE THE HUMAN BEING AND THE GOOD SAKE OF THIS GREAT NATION.HAIL DEMOCRACY AND TRUE FREEDOM. IN GOD WE TRUST.

Comment by Keith from CA

I fail to correlate how someone thinks that a good politician makes for a good president? What’s up with that? I must be missing something. According to my understanding these days “What makes a good politician” is more like someone who knows how to be a good lier, someone who can take bribes from corporate America, Outsource jobs, give free trade agreements, give amnesty for illegals, tell the American people he’s working for them when really he’s just fulfilling his own political agenda.
Maybe Obama’s right? Maybe he is a good politician. I still fail to understand how he thinks that makes a good president?

I am not surprised by your comment though. You are an example for all who have doubts as to whether or not there are still some serious racial issues in this country. As long as we have “Hoodies” like you, we will always have problems.

There are so many of you who hide behind the internet while wearing your white robe and dunce cap…btw…that dunce cap does serve two purposes. One, to show your “true colors” and the other to show that you truly are a DUNCE.

I am submitting my comments again. Apparently, they were not submitted to you correctly. I will try this again.

I have read many of the noted comments and I am confused on what is wrong with being “confident?” This is how I view the noted comments by Senator Barack Obama.

Why are we as American’s so quick to discredit someone (or something) that is willing to try to solve some problems? These are trying times for America and we appear to sit around and think negative thoughts versus being a part of some solutions.

“We The People - Yes We Can”

We seem to have forgotten about the last 8 years and how that all started.

I truly do not understand why we do not want to give Senator Barack Obama a chance. He must care about America and its future, or why would he subject himself (knowledge, skills, abilities) to the scrutiny of a failing AMERICA?

Sure….”I am the savior” is the type of politician he is. He “expects’ the support of every black person and will lead them to the Titanic and go to the bottom. When will the black community learn that by putting all their marbles in this extremely left liberal basket they have condemned themselves to further political isolation…..the same failures that kerry, j jackson and Sharpton have done. Look in the mirror and see the real reason why your community has not had a favored person in the white house for some time…Kerry and Gore were unable to help and they were not as far left as this ’savior’ type.

Look at what this person “really stands for”, look beyond the “change” smoke screen. If you do not realize how Obama and his “handlers” and dem “leadership” are leading your group once again to a failure before it is too late you will be out of the political mainstream for another 8 yrs….is this want you desire? Never has your support been so expected and for such a far left socialist who represent backwards thinking not forward thinking. Do not get suckered into the “change” diatribke and decide on the result of his thinking.

Yes…he is an excellent politician….he can sell anything such like some terrible former leaders of some of our worst enemies. Before it is too late for you and your future….do not become the slaves to this Obama whose real desire is to subvert this nation and open the borders to further the dilution of your potential power in a real electable candidate.

Racist comment #7:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I
began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites”

Racist comment #8:
From Dreams Of My Father;
After graduating from college, Obama eventually went to Chicago to interview
for a job as a community organizer. His racial attitudes came into play as he
sized up the man who would become his boss. “There was something about him
that made me wary,” Obama wrote. “A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”

From Dreams Of My Father;
Obama’s racial suspicions were not always limited to whites. For example, after
making his first visit to Kenya, he wrote of being disappointed to learn that his
paternal grandfather had been a servant to rich whites. He wrote in “Dreams” that
the revelation caused “ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator.
House n_gger.”

he concluded he would have to assimilate into her world, not the other way around.

Racist comment #13:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“I learned to slip back and forth between my black and white worlds,” he wrote in
“Dreams.” “One of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were

relieved — such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn’t
seem angry all the time.”

Racist comment #14:
From Dreams Of My Father;
Said his grandmother is a “typical white person” who has fears about black men.

Traitorous comment#1: From ‘The Audacity Of Hope,
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an

Traitorous comment#2
“As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides,”
Obama said. “There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a
symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know,
the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial
and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.’ If that were
our anthem, then I might salute it.”

Obama is good when he remembers his speaches but he dances around questions. Obama sucks and he would be a loosy President. Comments on the debate so far….George and Charlie are throwing Hillary to the dogs, but she is strong and persistent thank God! I find it irratating how many times Obama has danced around the subject of his Reverend and the issue with the flag. He keeps calling those things “distractions” but to me they are REAL issues and it appears to me that Obama is more prejeduce and discriminative than most white people that are called prejeduce! His comments towards the citizens of the state of PA and his commitment to the church with that white hater pastor to me makes him at least appear very discriminative towards whites so putting him in authority of the country is absolutely the worst thing to do if the point is to “bridge a gap” as he says!

THAT IS THE CAMP HE WAS STATIONED TO DURING HIS TOUR IN THE ANBAR PROVINCE,, AR RAMADI,,,, SO,,,if you dont have something like a flag pen to wear or a flag to pit on your car… or a flag to fly,,, then yes M PERIOD you are not patriotic,, GOT THAT?
