It is astonishing to me to see how some people in important positions are lacking in basic training
that we try to instill in the youngest of children. I saw a picture in a newspaper yesterday that
shows Senator Obama with a tray of hamburgers that he was offering to his supporters. He held the tray in one hand with his thumb on one of the hamburger and with his bare hand he had another, giving it to a young lady. I am surprise that he did not wear gloves or use a napkin.
A littlt etiquette on his part would would make the picture more tasteful.

Vonay is right on the money with the assessment of Obama. If Americans don’t stop and realize that these things are true, then this country will be headed to hell in a hand basket. He is neither a patriot nor a fit candidate for President because he has been handing out tickets for that ride for a long time now. Get your ticket for the ride or come to your senses and miss the bus.

I voted for Hillary Clinton in the Rhode Island primary. Of course I’m going to vote for whichever democrat wins in November and won’t vote for McCain if Hillary doesn’t win the nomination. But Obama made me SO angry (you have no idea how angry) by criticizing Hillary Clinton for having beer and whiskey in a bar with voters in Pennsylvania. It was even more offensive and arrogant of him to call it “pandering to the working class.” What the Hell is that supposed to mean? Does he hate the working class and believe ridiculous stereotypes about them? I think Hillary did the right thing by going into that bar and having a drink or two with people while conversing with them about issues affecting this country. She showed that she’s not just a politician, but she’s an ordinary person who understands ordinary people. She’s welcome to join me for a glass or two of Jameson in my local tavern any day she wishes, whether she wins the election or not. I’ll raise a toast to Mrs. Clinton. Shame on you, Barack Obama. There’s nothing wrong with a presidential candidate having a shot of whiskey with voters in a bar, and the fact that there are people like Obama and commentators in the media who suggest it is wrong shows what’s wrong with our society. Examine your prejudices Mr Obama, and then ask yourself if they are fair to the people you’re insulting, like me. Now I would never vote for you Obama. It’s Hillary or McCain. To Hell With You Obama

obama couldve written a bill on anything that we americans would vote for because it would benefit us but instead he writes a bill that makes AMERICANS ONLY pay 845 BILLION dollars to the United Nations so that the UN can cut global poverty in half. Well it sounds fine and good except that AMERECIANS wont get any of that money back! why? because we do not earn less than $1 a day and it will only be meant for people in the world that make that little money. I figure most of our money will go to Africa. Afterall, isnt that what obamas committment is to (according to the black value system),…Africa? take from us to give to the rest of the world. i wouldnt mind it if i could afford my share but i cant afford to eat all the time either and arent there 28 million americans on food stamps? what does that tell you. he should have writen a bil that would help Americans who are poor and hungry but no he wants us to pay for the rest of the world. well i think i see where he would take us if he became president and i can also see that he doesnt care about us as much as he cares about people outside of this country.

Hillary was much more genuine in her speech last night than Obama “an arrogant elitist” who thinks evryone should think like him and now Rev. Wright bashing Fox and that’s akay and Obama prabably should be denouncing and furthermore the only reason Rev. Wright is speaking out is because now Obama has gone backwards 20 points in Pennslvania due to stupidity. You don’t go to a private forum in California speaking to the elite and then it comes out and then you can’t apolgize, he has yet to apoogize for anything, any lies or mis spoken mis-haps! He is a snob and small town America better wake up and smell the coffe, he is brewing mess..

Don’t know how many Fox viewers are like me, but I watch because I am mesmerised by their sheer gall. I loathe the mothers and would be nearly as aghast if they were pushing from the other side of the political divide.

Everything down to the most minute detail is framed to accentuate the positive about Republicans and the negative about Democrats, and it is all done with a straight face.

Look at the cynical way they choose their ‘house ni**ers’ to be the most strident rightist spokespeople. Not saying that these individuals are not genuine in their beliefs, but the fact that they are chosen primarily because they can communicate the stock messages from behind a black face must make them feel more than a little used and abused.

Even if, as they constantly allege, there is ‘left-wing bias’ in what they refer to as the mainstream media (I think fairness bias would be more accurate), it is no excuse whatsoever for Fox’s frontpeople to make their bias so screamingly obvious. You just should not see an interviewer nodding and agreeing with their subject, or asking patsy questions like ‘Does Barack really hate America or is he just unpatriotic?’

Goebbels would be proud of the ‘fair and balanced’ BS. I hope the ‘mainstream media’ is quietly building up a blacklist of Fox’s front-puppets and producers. These people have sold out on every journalistic principle there is - and should never be employed again.

You are right on point. Unfortunately, many of the Republican bloggers are so inundated with racial disdain that they have convinced themselves that Fox news network is fair and balanced.

Maybe their disdain is legitimate, I’m not disputing it. What I will dispute however is the fact that Fox news network masterfully exploits their racial fears, biases and prejudices by the way that they present their programming.

They only expose BOGUS claims of racial discrimination, welfare fraud and other controversial issues that the conservative American public dislikes.

What this does is reinforce racially based preconceived notions about such thing like discrimination in America. It convinces them that most issues of racism in America are bogus and illegitimate because that all that they see on Fox.

You know, the funny thing about most Fox viewers is that they only watch Fox news programming. It’s almost as if they are afraid to watch another program and make a comparative analysis.

Now for the record, Fox news is not the only network that’s bias. But let’s face reality, they are the MOST bias in the way they present the news.

Whenever I see one of their commentators speaking I am reminded of a quote by Thomas Brackett Reed…. “They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge”
