Obama On Offense: “I’m Out Of Touch?”

TERRE HAUTE, Ind — Rather than back off his claim at a San Francisco fundraiser that working class Pennsylvania voters are bitter and “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to the people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” Barack Obama passionately embraced those remarks tonight — saying “of course they’re bitter. Of course they’re frustrated. You would be too. In fact, many of you are.”

Obama expanded on his San Francisco argument, saying 30 years of unfulfilled economic promises from politicians led voters to latch onto other issues. “They don’t vote on economics because they don’t expect anybody’s going to help them,” he said. “Some people end up, you know, voting on issues like guns, are they gonna have the right to bear arms. They vote on issues like gay marriage. They take refuge in their faith and their families and the things they can count on. But they don’t believe they can count on Washington.”

Getting warmed up, Obama lit into his rivals and their attacks. “Here’s what’s rich,” he said. “Senator Clinton says, ‘well, I don’t think people are bitter in Pennsylvania. I think Barack’s being condescending.’ John McCain says, ‘oh, how could he say that? How could he say people are bitter. He’s obviously out of touch with people.’”

“Out of touch? Out of touch?” he said, incredulous.

“I mean, John McCain, it took him three tries to finally figure out that the home foreclosure crisis was a problem, and to come up with a plan for it, and he’s saying I’m out of touch?

“Senator Clinton voted for a credit card sponsored bankruptcy bill that made it harder for people to get out of debt after taking money from the financial services companies, and she says I’m out of touch?”

“No, I’m in touch. I know exactly what’s going on, I know what’s going on in Pennsylvania, I know what’s going on in Indiana, I know what’s going on in Illinois. People are fed up. They’re angry, and they’re frustrated, and they’re bitter, and they want to see a change in Washington, and that’s why I’m running for President of the United States of America.”

My obsession rages on…

Throughout this election, it has become my obsession to say as many negative things about Mike Huckabee as my imagination can come up with. My vehement hatred for the man all stems from one question that he casually posed to a NY Times reporter (who claimed to know a lot about Mormonism) about whether or not Mormons believe that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. As a Mormon, I do believe that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. However, my bishop (at the ward I attend) instructs us to conceal such ‘deeper doctrines’ because people outside of the LDS Church just don’t understand such truths, and their unwillingness to accept them only jeopardizes our attempts to market ourselves as a Christian religion. In any event, I will go on hating Huckabee for a million eternities, because I am so insecure in my own faith that I have no other choice but to hate him with a demonic passion. Instead, as a temple-worthy Mormon (complete with magic underpants), I support wholeheartedly and without reservation my fellow cult member, Mitt Romney. If only he were elected President (or at least Vice President) then maybe my false religion would gain some credibility and people would no longer think us as a cult. Of course, you bozos in Eldorado, Texas are complicating matters greatly by actually following the teachings of our founder/prophet, Joseph Smith. Us mainline Mormons are smart enough to hide the less attractive aspects of our religion (such as polygamy, our aspirations to godhood, secret temple ceremonies including the handshake that gets you into heaven, magic underwear, etc.) instead of flaunting them like this splinter group of Mormons in Texas.

All Mormons (and others of equally deficient IQs), I would encourage you to follow my lead…
Say it with me…

HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…HUCAKBEE IS THE DEVIL; ROMNEY IS GOD…

The more often you repeat this mantra (as is the case when you bear your testimony as a Mormon), the more convinced you will become of its truthfulness. Say it a few times and see if, you too, do not get a burning feeling in your bosom to verify its validity.

Apparently Obama makes wide sweeping generalizations about people to make himself look good. The only thing this politician is able to do is use Words, just words to get himself into and out of these problems.

Reality = Obama is a politician, and he will tell you what you want to hear to get him elected.

Fantasy = He cares about the American People

Reality = Obama doesn’t know America

Reality = Obama’s “change” remains unknown; an amorphic unquantifyable concept that gets tossed around to rally people to him.

Fantasy = Obama’s preacher is a crazy old man

Reality = Rev Wright uses hate speech to get his point across and while Obama flipflops on whether he heard those hateful speeches, he made him an advisor to his campaign and then supports his hatespeech by throwing race under the bus, his white grandmother under the bus, and becomes black when he wants and white when he wants… The reality is his grandmother is his blood and you can’t disown her, your spiritual advisor you can change, you can see a pastor who meets your needs (not use as a political polevault to the Illinois legislature, and ultimately US Senate).

Fantasy = Obama thinks every vote should count

Reality = Obama has done everything to disenfranchize Florida and Michigan voters and that is just down right unpatriotic, un American, and that makes me bitter!

something is fishy!
The Power of Cook County, Illinois

In the race for the most popular votes in the Democratic Party’s presidential primary contests, Sen. Barack Obama’s lead over Sen. Hillary Clinton is about 711,000 votes — not including Florida or Michigan — according to Real Clear Politics.

Of Sen. Obama’s 711,000 popular-vote lead, 650,000 — or more than 90% of the total margin — comes from Sen. Obama’s home state of Illinois, with 429,000 of that lead coming from his home base of Cook County.

That margin in Cook County represents almost 60% of Obama’s total lead nationwide.

Interestingly, Sen. Obama’s 429,000-vote margin in Cook County alone is larger than the winning margin of either candidate in any state.

Comment by BLACK MAN FOR HILLARY

It is also disturbing to me that Obama’s wife, Michelle, during a speech in Wisconsin , said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”
Strange. Michelle who has had a good life, with opportunities few whites or blacks have been given. When she entered Princeton and Harvard and later became a partner in a prestigious law firm, didn’t she feel proud to be an American?
When she and the senator bought their new home, was there no feeling of accomplishment and pride in being a U.S. citizen? When her husband was elected to the state legislature and subsequently to the United States Senate, didn’t she feel proud of her country?

“let’s examine the impact of Rev. Wright’s statements on senator obama’s two daughters. Nothing says it better than a song from the musical “South Pacific,” to wit, “You have to be taught to hate and fear…You’ve got to be carefully taught.” Few dispute that Rev. Wright’s sermons are filled with hate. Why didn’t Obama stand up in the church and denounce his hateful statements or, at the very least, argue privately with his minister? It was horrifying to see on a video now viewed across America the congregation rise from the pews to applaud their minister’s rants”.

“Senator Clinton voted for a credit card sponsored bankruptcy bill that made it harder for people to get out of debt after taking money from the financial services companies, and she says I’m out of touch?” said Obama.

“Case in point: an amendment he voted on as part of a recent bankruptcy bill before the US Senate would have capped credit card interest rates at 30 percent. Inexplicably, Obama voted against it, although it would have been the beginning of setting these predatory lending rates under federal control. Even Senator Hillary Clinton supported it.” said a reporter.

ooohhhhh. it almost sounds like he wants to go to war with the whole country! the ONLY group of people that he is in touch with (maybe) is the black community. he doesnt know diddly squat about white folks and what makes them tick and especially what makes them bitter. he could never know because he has never been there and done that. he quit telling everyone that his mother was white (age 12 or 13) becaue he did not want to “ingratiate” himself into the white community. doesnt sound like he has much affection for white folks to me. he doesnt disown his pastor because he believes in what the message is and has been for 20 years (again, anti-white). the only thing he and his wife want is to be able to somehow make the government pay back, to the black community, everything that the community feels was denied them. remember that he attends a church where there is a “committment to africa” and the black community. he will have to use the office of president to get everything that he can for this group of people and the black community expects that it will happen. why else would 90% of the black population of registered voters cast their vote for him? i hope that everyone is aware that the black community already has a plan of action in mind, and the lawyers to boot, should obama lose the presidency. they are not going to go down so easily. now everyone is thinking that obamawas saying that blue collar folks are bitter, they cling onto their guns and religion etc. well i dont see where obama is in touch with this group of people but what if,….what if you can change that group of people and instead say the same thing about the black community? there i could believe that he was in touch with that reality.

The following are the condescending and arrogant comments made by Barack Hussein Obama about small-town Pennsylvania during a fund raiser in San Francisco on 4/6/08.
“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them..
And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations”. WOW! I NEVER SAW FIRE SHOOT OUT OF MY GRANDMOTHER’S EYES BEFORE! SHE IS FURIOUS AT OBAMA’S REMARKS. YES, WE CLING TO OUR RELIGION BUT OUR GUNS ARE MOSTLY FOR HUNTING. WE ARE NOT ANTI-IMMIGRANT, THE LIBERTY BELL HANGS IN OUR STATE. WE FELT THE AWFUL HATE AND MURDER OF SEPT. 11TH IN OUR OWN PENNSYLVANIA FIELDS. What a shame the Congress and Senate of 1947, could not imagine the spouse of the President running for President. If they had, we may not have to watch the Democratic Party loose face in the public eye. The 22nd amendment would read: No person or their spouse shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person or their spouse who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

If the audio of Obama had not captured his statements he would be telling the american people that these type of words are not words he belives in and must be taken out of context. The only reason your hero, Insanity Hannity, wanted Romney was because of the bribes he and others (e.g., Limbaugh, Coulter, etc.) received from Clear Channel (owned by Bain Capital - Romney’s outfit). If they wanted to keep their jobs, they had better have endorsed Romney.

Obama just keeps coming out with these comments. Slips of the tongue? With his comments and his associates comments along with his wife, it makes me wonder about his true feeling about America and all of it’s peoples, not just the blacks. I am beginning to think that he heard every word Rev. Rant said and actually agrees with him. How is this man get to a point where he could actually be our President. Scary!!

You all must understand, untill we get a President will to change the current system, YOUR VOTE DOES NOT COUNT.
The Church of Engalnd will make the choice for you.

Concerned American - I’ve wondered the same thing. How could he be this close to the White House? I worry about the future of this country. This seems more like a popularity contest, kind of like voting for your high school president anymore.

There is a Mormon ‘American Conservative’ (on these blogs) and there is me - two polar opposites.

The answer to Obama’s rhetorical question is: Yes, you’re out of touch.

I feel he is being funded by George Soros through many different puppet organizations, but it’s the people who are voting for him that I don’t get. It’s like maybe we should be connecting the dots, like 911.

GO HILLARY !!!
Obama is ARROGANT!
He will not win - his “friends” are just too radical!

Concerned American and Paul from Kissimmee…… I think he’s displaying his true colors. It all fits right in with Wrights rants, and his wife’s “misspeak”. He said what he meant never knowing “average americans” would hear this. What disturbs me is that they are raising their two daughters in this environment.

As for him getting so close to the White House, it’s the youngsters who probably were voting for High School President last year!

How out of touch are you? Do you, America believe it is time for a change? You work hard, make a life for your families, and want change. This is a change, Hollywood calls. obama is casting you as the jester. “i am out of touch?” Yes you are! So says the “fool” you are listening to.obama casts stones and says I have none, bulls it
