Wright Resurfaces On Obama Trail

It’s an issue that won’t go away. On a day when Clinton supporter and former White House Counsel Lanny Davis questioned Obama’s judgment in choosing Wright as his pastor and urged him to give even more details on his relationship with the controversial pastor in the Wall Street Journal, the Illinois Senator was confronted with the issue at a town hall in Levittown, PA — where he was asked about an award given by a magazine run by Wright’s daughters to controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

“How can praise for any anti-Semitic demagogue be considered a minor difference between you and the reverend?” asked a woman in the audience.

Defending the legitimacy of the question as the crowd grew agitated, Obama replied “It wasn’t a minor difference, it was a major difference.”

“I’ve been very clear about saying that was wrong. And nobody has spoken out more fiercely on the issue of anti-Semitism than I have,” he said. “I didn’t just start doing it lately, which is part of the reason why I have such strong support in the Jewish community in Chicago.”

Citing his desire to unite communities that have been discriminated against, Obama said, “part of my job then as president is to get everybody to recognize that we’ve got a stake in each other, and we’ve got to get past these divisions. And that’s what I’m trying to do in my campaign and hopefully as president as well.”

Still no answer from Obama . He just ignores the question.
Like he now uses his “typical white grandmother” for his ads , Now that he needs her.

Comment by Jean, GA

He still did not answer the question truthfully. He has a different answer every time he is confronted about his relationship with rev Wright. This will not go away, and I do not see how this can help him in Nov. Of course, I do not know the type of attack ads his supporters will launch at McCain but I am certain they will be vicious.

White people shupt your mouth!

“A delegate from Chicago talked to her neighbour’s children who were climbing
in a large tree in their front yard with no parent to be seen. She called to
them and asked them to quit playing in the tree like “little monkeys”. The
children’s mother called the police on her. Obama’s campaign office called
her and demanded her resignation from being a democratic delegate. Why?
Because the children were black and she was white. She received a TICKET for
disorderly conduct. (see Chicago Sun Times for complete details)
Obama, overzealous political correctness and a sign of the future. Be black
or keep your mouth shut”.

if you want race relations to go backward elect Hussein Obama

if you want this country on the right track again elect Hillary

Well if America doesn’t wake up that’s what our country will be like. He wants to talk to the Iranian’s to help end the war. First he said the surge wasn’t and didn’t work, but during his questioning of the general he says the surge did work. Well which is it? Why is he allowed to flip flop all the time and no one says anything. If he becomes our president our country will be like all the other countries we will have to worry about suicide bombers etc. Did you know that the muslim religion has become the number one religion in the world.

Comment by Sally

He answered very truthfully. At least he didn’t accuse the questioner (who as the Bucks County Courier Times reports, is a die-hard supporter of Mrs Clinton and was no doubt a plant) of being ” a comedian” as Mrs. Clinton accused Sinbad of being when he questioned her truthfulness on Bosnia.

I am a white woman who belongs to an Episcopalian church. I have heard my minister say horrible things about Bush. How is it different ? I am not my pastor.

Additionally, I would be far more fearful of having a commander in chief who lies about being under sniper fire in Bosnia. Now that’s a scary thought. If anyone has ever been shot at, or had a gun pointed at their head, as I have, you NEVER forget it.

Mrs. Clinton needs to drop out now.

Cathy in Indiana: I do not understand your resentment that Obama in using his grandmother in his ads. Is he supposed to hide the fact that he is half white ?Additionally, over the years she has given many interviews to newspapers and television. She has not been hidden.

Additionally, if you had done any research at all, you would have seen that Obama has being writing extensively about his grandmother since 1995, when his first book came out. In that book, he writes about his grandmother’s racial attitudes. She gave him permission to do so for the book.

Additionally I have heard both my typical white grandmothers espouse racial fears about black men. It’s that generation.

Your hatred and resentment apparently knows no bounds. It’s weird that the most decent and least “political” of the candidates arouses such hatred in some people. What is it about this fear… a resentment ?Is it a feeling of being threatened ? Or are these people who act nasty just projecting their own issues and backgrounds onto the candidate. A little self-awareness among those who are nasty here might be a good start.

Sally, I feel sorry for you going to a church that preaches politics from the pulpit. That NEVER happens in our church. Our pastors know coming in that they are to preach the word in the pulpit and not get into politics. Once you start getting into politics, I feel the church should lose it’s tax exempt status as our country advocates a “separatation of church and state”. It is apparent that a lot of churches are now using the pulpit to voice their own personal opinions about politics. I have sent an email to the IRS requesting that they start checking out these churches such as Obama’s and yours. I can guarantee you that IF they have to start paying taxes (as they should), they’ll learn to keep their mouth shut. We may have a small congregation compared to many, but at least we are using our church for the right reason and not to spew hate and discontent.

Obama Staff: We Need More White People
By Tommy Christopher
Apr 9th 2008 12:05PM
Filed Under:eDemocrats, Barack Obama, Breaking News, 2008 President, Race

During a Michelle Obama appearance at Carnegie Mellon University, the school paper The Tartan reported the attention-getting phrase:
The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”

“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’ ” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. “I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”

Michael Goldfarb of The Weekly Standard has a stranglehold on the meaning of this passage:
The Obama campaign discriminates against people of color, and their own supporters no less, in what is presumably a misguided pander to white voters.

Obama already answered that question in his book

Obama quotes from “Dreams From My Father”:

“I had begun to see a new map of the world, one that was frightening in its simplicity, suffocating in its implications. We were always playing on the white man’s court…by the white man’s rules.”
“Whatever he decided to do, it was his decision to make, not yours, and because of that fundamental power he held over you, because it preceded and would outlast his individual motives and inclinations, any distinction between good and bad whites held negligible meaning.”

The wright thing is not going to go away because, it is not a matter of what the pastor said, it is a matter that Obama chose to stay in that church and bring his children there to listen to these black radical sermons. It is a matter of judgement on Obama’s part along with all the other people he has chosen to call his friends. Don’t forget Tony Rezko, we don’t know the full story about that yet. So what else do we not know about Obama? Quite a bit.

EJ, a church should be able to preach about everyday life experience that is an example of what the Bible seeks to instill in people. There is nothing wrong with politics in the pulpit. Jesus himself was killed by some of the worst POLITICS of his time. You go to church so that you can apply God’s message to you life, whether it is something you want to hear or not. A church that shy’s away from everyday life is useless to its congregation. What is the point of going to a church that just reads the Bible to you every Sunday and goes not further? I can do that at home. Because a pastor may speak on an issue that has political implications is not grounds for anyone to lose tax exempt status. Violence comes in all walks of life; it can be a man beating his wife, a kid robbing a store, or a government bombing unarmed civilians; it makes no difference. Senseless killing is senseless killing and a sin whether it is done by a person or a collection of people we call government and military. And violence does beget violence. Let someone come to your house and attack your wife and kid and we’ll see how peaceful you are. Jesus teaches us not to buy into it and turn the other cheek. Martin Luther King understood that, and the bigots who attacked his movement looked nothing less than stupid. But not everyone was like King. The acts of the police and white public of the time made Malcolm X and other leaders angry. They proposed blacks fight back violently if attacked. That is how most people would have reacted, right or wrong.

Comment to Sally - YOU saying - Hillary sould drop out - WHY??? This is the very negative tone that the obama group has now - thought he was going to be the change candidate. It is the obama group that is causing all the racial tones of this “race” - to the point that Ms. Obama actually places people in the audience to look more “correct” - “Need More White People” .
Obama wil not win due to his radical friends - his background & judgment are far too questionable to be President of the United States.
The Wright issue will not go away - Why does he still stay at this radical church????
YOUR SILENCE IMPLIES APPROVAL!

Harley, I don’t doubt that you were called that. I myself believe that the woman did not mean any harm, and I am black. I think it is important for blacks to choose our battles wisely, and the kids in the tree is one I would have left alone. But at the same time, you need to understand that American history for blacks is different for whites in USA or Japan. That word, along with a host of others has a turbulent and offensive history for blacks. You may not have grown up in the times where that word was used regularly to demean blacks in particular, but it nonetheless provokes a difference response in different cultures. History in white schools does not begin to touch on any of these issues, and that is part of the problem. History books water down lynching, slavery, Jim Crow and segregation to a point that many whites can not get a grasp on its long term effects, on differences in black and white experience, and in how very inhumane that entire period really was. For example, a lot a whites think lynching was a couple of rednecks with some chains and a rusty truck hanging someone. No. Lynchings were often community events where entire white families came, cooked out, sung and dance, took pictures and celebrated while the black person hung from the tree. The the person was often dismembered, sometimes burned. Postcards were made and sent around. Can you imagine? A lot of folks can not. But certain words have ties to these times, and a lot of folks who lived these times are still alive today. It wasn’t that long ago.

Antonn, nobody is asking you to vote for Obama for that reason. Vote for who you think is best for the country. What people do want from you is to simply check things for yourself before you speak, and be fair and object before you judge Obama. I think you will find that a lot of folks want to judge the candidate that is not in their favor by a different standard than they apply to the one they support. That is my only issue with some of the comments. If someone doesn’t like Obama because of his policies, that is fine. But the conspiracy theories about him being a Muslim and this other nonsense need to go. He is a black Christian male running for president, period. Yes his views are liberal, and he DOES NOT hate white people or America. That is crazy. People have this idea that you are someone unpatriotic if you don’t agree with everything America does. That’s silly. This country is as good as the sum of the people who run it. Their biases come out in the actions of America as a country and the actions are not always right (ie: the Iraq War). A true partiot can challenge his country to be better and not just roll over and accept any immoral thing it does as right and neccessary.

Lanny Davis and the Obama Haters. Lanny Davis is not really concerned about Obama, but he is trying everything that he can to help Hillary win. When will people form their own opinions instead of coming to Fox to tell them how they should think. Lanny Davis should be quite ashamed of himself because he knows that Fox is where he can keep the hate going, so that he can help his candidate win. He is pathetic and so are the people who want Obama to keep paying for something that someone else said.

I’m surprised at the number of racist that there are still in this United States and most of them post on Fox. Obama has explained all that he needs to and the people who keep asking him to explain over and over the same old thing should explain why they hate black people. Lanny is playing the race card and fools are falling for it. If you don’t believe me, look at your post.

Shame on you Lanny Davis, trying to get a vote for Hillary anyway that you can. And shame on the people that respond to his race baiting, as Lanny thinks so little of you that he knows how to make you respond to thoughtless comments. Get informed and don’t let people form your opinions.

Comment by Fae - Obama's choice of song

I COPIED THIS WHOLE POST!!! - First time I posted like this - I hope it works. I thought people should read this.

Read one of the many articles written about Obama’s song choice here: http://www.nypost.com/seven/01142008/gossip/pagesix/hillary__barack_rap__rock_142152.htm

This is not the CHANGE I stand for. In it, Jay-Z refers to women as h*oes and b*i*t*c*h*e*s, refers to their p**u***ssy in a derogatory way, uses a variety of swears and so on and so on. Why would a future president do this? There were women and children in that audience and yet, this song seemed appropriate, just because he wanted to stick it to Hillary Clinton? He also refused to apologize for this use of derogatory language and song. What kind of change is that?

Comment by John in Virgina

Well, he may be a mix of things JD, but what you say is an opinion. Perhaps mine is too, but America identifies him as black, despite other heritages he may possess. People treat you how you appear. He physically appears black. His father was Kenyan and you should go look for that. You may want him to be Arab so that you can do what is convenient at the time: repudiate all Muslims in an effort to avoid the fact that you do not like him because he is black. That way you do not have to look like a bigot. But guess what? There is nothing wrong with being a Muslim. There is something wrong with being a terrorist. This current administration has done everything it can to get the public to equate Muslim with terrorist, and it has apparently worked. But it is an ignorant and hate filled premace. Either way you cut it, you are what you seem to be trying to avoid: a bigot. Reality is, it should not matter what he is. If you actually knew something about Muslims who practiced the faith as it should be practiced, you’d know they are overwhelmingly peaceful. But in order for the Bush Administration to carry out these attacks, they need you think exactly as you do without once questioning their motives. Again, there are good people in Muslim faith and in the Christian faith, and there are others who claim both, and are far fetched in their actions from either. There’s a difference.

Like I said I dont care what he is, just be honest about it, dont try to hide behind words, be proud of who you are. It makes people think he is hiding something,

WHY SHOULD THE VOTERS IGNORE THE OBAMA-WRIGHT SCANDAL JUST BECAUSE OBAMA WANTS TO SWEEP THIS SCANDAL UNDER THE CARPET?

The mainstream media like MSNBC and CNN were all full of praise on Hussein obama’s race speech. BUT WHY DID THEY NOT ASK THE QUESTIONS THAT SO FAR HAS GONE UNANSWERED?

1. WHY DID HE LIED DURING HIS FIRST INTERVIEW THAT HE NEVER HEARD WRIGHT PREACHES HATE /RACISM BEFORE, BUT ADMIT THAT HE DID HEAR THOSE KIND OF HATE SPEECH DURING HIS SPEECH IN PHILEDELPHIA.

2. WHY DID HE STAYED ON ATTENDING THIS CHURCH FOR 20+ YEARS KNOWING THAT WRIGHT PREACHES HATE /RACISM?

3. SINCE HE ADMITTED HE KNOWS THAT WRIGHT PREACHES HATE, WHY DID HE STAYED SILENT AND NOT SPEAK OUT DURING ALL THESE YEARS?

4. WHY DID HE STILL APPOINT WRIGHT TO HIS CAMPAIGN AS RELIOUS ADVISOR DURING THE EARLY MONTHS OF HIS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN?

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS COMPLETELY UN-ELECTABLE!!!!

GO HILLARY!!!

The arugment that Hussein obama is UN-ELECTABLE is actually very logical if you just put the facts in perspective.

Fact: J Wright is ANTI-AMERICAN, a BIGOT, a RACIST…etc. He has also close association with Louis Farrakkhan.

Fact: Hussein Obama is a FOLLOWER of Wright. In another words, WRIGHT is Hussein Obama’s LEADER.

So how can Hussein Obama be qualified to be president (leader) of United States???
How can any decent American, with good conscions, vote for Barack Hussein Obama?

Can any obama-loving-goons please make an argument against the above?

“What we have,” Peraica says, “is a level of corruption that is integrated both vertically and horizontally across all layers of government: city, municipal, county, and state.” To him, the Rezko case illustrates that corruption in Illinois is a bipartisan problem. “We have a corrupt political combine, where the members of the two parties… have come together, not pursuant to a public interest, but to pursue their own financial interests, which they have done with great zeal and ingenuity.”

This corruption, should it become an issue in the campaign, could cause problems for Obama when people start to wonder how he could have made it through “the combine” without getting involved in the overlapping networks of patronage and influence. Peraica, for one, argues that he didn’t.

“Senator Barack Obama is an integral part and a product of this corrupt system,” Peraica says. “Senator Obama has endorsed Todd Stroger for Cook County board president, Mayor [Richard M.] Daley for mayor of Chicago, Dorothy Tillman for re-election as an alderman, and other epitomes of bad government throughout his career in order to promote himself politically, at the expense of, I would argue, principles and morals and good government.”

Obama’s relationship with Allison Davis — the alleged go-between in Rezko’s scheme to shake down Tom Rosenberg — could pose another problem for him. Obama worked for Davis at the law firm of Davis Miner Barnhill. Later, when Obama sat on the board of a charity called the Woods Fund, he voted to invest $1 million in a partnership operated by Davis, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Levine’s testimony in the Rezko trial puts Davis in the middle of an attempted quid pro quo, making him yet another associate Obama might be pressured to disown. And the trial could stretch well into May, at which point a Rezko conviction could lead to even more headaches for the candidate. If Rezko is looking at a long prison sentence and decides to start talking, who knows what he might say?

All the more reason that Obama might be tempted to try to address this metastasizing problem with a single bold gesture. Obama made a big speech about race to distract from his ties to one unsavory Chicago character, but distancing himself from an entire network of them might prove to be a tougher task. After all, Obama was able to claim the middle ground in his defense of Wright, denouncing Wright’s most radical views while excusing his run-of-the-mill resentments as being a not-atypical part of the black experience.

But America will have a harder time swallowing excuses for corruption as being a run-of-the-mill aspect of the Illinois political experience — particularly not from a candidate that has promised a new kind of politics. To succeed, Obama would have to denounce the behavior of some of his closest allies and demonstrate a candor about his own experience in state government that’s been missing from his campaign thus far. In the Rezko trial, Obama might have finally encountered a problem that a speech alone won’t solve.

TO ALL DEMOCRATS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FACTS>>>

Why the GOP Loves Obama

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 10:27 PM

By: Christopher Ruddy Article Font Size

Republicans this week are breathing a deep sigh of relief.

What was seen as a washout for them this coming November — with big losses expected in the House and Senate and a catastrophic loss of the White House — is now shaping up to be less ominous.

With the Democrats moving to pick Sen. Barack Obama as their nominee, the Republicans see a real opportunity to keep the Oval Office in GOP hands.

There is no question that the Republicans had viewed Hillary Clinton as the most formidable of the Democratic candidates.

During one of the primary debates, Obama suggested that the Republicans were “comfortable” attacking Hillary, suggesting they actually wanted her to be the nominee. Au contraire.

Republicans were attacking Mrs. Clinton because they believed she would be the nominee. They could hardly foresee Obama’s rise.

Indeed, she was the Democratic front-runner and hence the focus of their attacks. Now, Obama is discovering that he’s the focus of Republican scrutiny, with John McCain highlighting Obama’s accommodationist views with tyrants.

The glee seen in GOP eyes this week can be chalked up to the clearly visible fault lines shaping up for the November election, a seismic battle between McCain and Obama.

There are many reasons the GOP would rather face Obama. Here are some of the best reasons:

Obama is the risky liberal. Every time the Democrats run a liberal like Obama, who the National Journal reports has a 100 percent liberal voting record, they lose.

Remember President McGovern, President Dukakis, President Kerry? Mrs. Clinton, however, has been quite clever in her record and rhetoric to come across as more moderate. In New York state she consistently won hardcore Republican districts in her two Senate races.

A McCain insider told me this week that Obama’s support — for example, for driver’s licenses for illegals — is worth at least “five percentage points in the election.” Mrs. Clinton was smart enough to back away from that hot-button issue.

Obama energizes Democratic voters. It’s been talked about quite a bit that Obama is a charismatic man who energizes young voters. But young voters notoriously don’t vote.

Remember all the hoopla in the last election with MTV and its “Vote or Die” campaign to bring out antiwar young voters for President Kerry?

Indeed, Obama, as the first African-American candidate of a major party, will energize black voters. But don’t the Democrats know that black voters vote as a bloc for them already?

What does Obama actually bring to the table for Democrats? It’s not clear. Mrs. Clinton, as her longtime critic Dick Morris likes to point out, would have most assuredly energized women voters, especially millions of single moms that have never voted before.

Obama’s Latino problem. Clearly Latino or Hispanic voters are shaping up to be the key swing vote in this election, as they have been in recent elections. Some political pundits say George Bush’s come-from-behind win in 2004 was due to the solid 40 percent of Hispanics who voted for him, tipping the election in his favor.

This year was shaping up to be a terrible year for the GOP vis-à-vis Hispanic voters. But in primary after primary, Obama has had great difficulty winning over Latino voters.

Even in Illinois, where he beat Hillary to 2 to 1 in the primary, he only captured 52 percent of his home state’s Hispanic vote.

There are a variety of explanations for Obama’s Latino problem, including the belief there is an ethnic rivalry between Hispanics and blacks. Hispanics would like to see a Latino president in the White House, so the theory goes.

Mrs. Clinton, on the other hand, has done extremely well among Latino voters, perhaps owing to her husband’s likeability among these voters.

The recent primaries show Obama improving with Hispanic voters. Republicans, however, believe the problem with this key group will persist.

And then there is John McCain, who is the one Republican who is very well liked by Latino voters. He’s also a strong leader, which Hispanics respect. He’s pro-immigrant. As we all know, McCain joined Ted Kennedy in backing the recent immigration bill.

There’s little doubt Hillary could keep the Democratic stranglehold on Latino voters. Obama won’t.

Obama’s naiveté. Don’t forget, America is still in a war on terror. It is doubtful America will be tempted to go for an untested leader, no matter how charismatic he may be.

Some have drawn the comparison between Obama and JFK’s election win in 1960 during the height of the Cold War. But the Kennedy-Obama comparison is a weak one. For starters, John Kennedy was a war hero when he was elected president. Obama can make no such claim. Kennedy also had far more Washington experience in Congress and the Senate than Obama.

JFK also had his well-known father Joe at his side. And Democrats like to forget this, but Kennedy outflanked Nixon on defense issues, arguing that Nixon was too soft on communism. Obama’s dovish complaints about the Bush administration being too hawkish on terror won’t resonate with middle-of-the-road voters.

With good reason, the GOP is feeling better, finding its second wind as it coalesces around John McCain.

Despite some differences with the maverick senator, the Republican base will turn out for him. His $12 million fundraising haul for January is just one sign of that.

But there are many other reasons the GOP is more comfortable with Hillary out of the picture and Obama as the nominee.

First, Obama will not be able to lay claim to the good economic times of the 1990s that Bill Clinton presided over, as Hillary can. And Obama will be a nightmare for Democrats with swing voters in key states. Take for example the highly influential Cuban-American vote that Bill Clinton won in 1992 and 1996 — and was the key reason George Bush beat Al Gore.

The Cuban vote has been moving into the Democratic column but they will not go for Obama because he has clearly stated he will open up relations with Castro.

Sen. Clinton’s announced Cuba policies take a hard line, which resonates with these voters. And then there are the key Jewish communities in swing states like Florida and Ohio that are already deeply worried about electing Obama to the presidency.

Obama has talked openly about sitting down — without any preconditions — with Iran’s diabolical leader Ahmadinejad, who just this week referred to Israel as “bacteria” and has said in the past that the Jewish state is a “disgraceful blot” that should be “wiped off the map.”

With the McCain campaign blanketing key markets with TV ads featuring “independent Democrat” Sen. Joseph Lieberman, Obama will be in deep trouble.

The Democrats haven’t completely abandoned Hillary. But it sure looks that way.

There’s an oft-quoted saying that the Democrats “fall in love and Republicans fall in line.”

After this November, we may have to change that to “Democrats often like to run off the side of a cliff and the Republicans love to watch them.”

OUR APPEAL TO DNC LEADERSHIP AND ALL SUPERDELEGATES IS TO SUPPORT….

- SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON IF YOU WANT TO WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE.

- SUPERDELEGATE SHOULD VOTE BASE ON THE VERY PURPOSE WHY WE CREATED YOU…

- WHICH IS TO ELECT THE MOST ELECTABLE CANDIDATE WHO CAN BEAT GOP CANDIDATE…

- YOUR LOYALTY SHOULD BE FOR THE “PARTY AS A WHOLE” AND NOT FOR ONE PERSON…

Rj,
The republicans are going to lose big time, no matter what. They have lost all credability! McCain=Bush is another reason. Either way the biggest glass ceiling in the country is about to be broken. I think it’s one of the coolest thing I’ve seen in my lifetime. Its a sign of real change, its already happening dispite the neocons in charge. We need to wash ourselves clean of Bush as soon as possible.

LET ME GIVE YOU ONE REASON WHY OBAMA CAN’T BE READY EVEN FOR ONE TERM ONLY…

YET HE IS DREAMING TO HAVE TWO TERMS???

-This is a classic example of OBAMA’s “YES WE CAN XEROX”… No initiatives!!! No readiness and ability in initiating action… CAN THIS BE A GOOD SIGN OF LEADERSHIP???

-Obama who is pretending to be ready AND HAS GOOD JUDGEMENT ON DAY ONE as a commander in chief - has no control at all to his surrogates, who are without discipline…

-”Just yesterday morning, the Obama campaign was privately criticizing Clinton for identifying the Opening Ceremonies as a point of leverage publicly, telling Major Garrett that it removed the ability of the president to use the of a boycott to extract concessions on human rights….”

-And to appear that he too has to say something about the subject… said..

“If the Chinese do not take steps to help stop the genocide in Darfur and to respect the dignity, security, and human rights of the Tibetan people, then the President should boycott the opening ceremonies,” he said. “As I have communicated in public and to the President, it is past time for China to respect the human rights of the Tibetan people, to allow foreign journalists and diplomats access to the region, and to engage the Dalai Lama in meaningful talks about the future of Tibet. I am also deeply concerned about China’s failure to support efforts to halt the genocide in Darfur.”

“Regarding the Beijing Olympics this summer, a boycott of the opening ceremonies should be firmly on the table, but this decision should be made closer to the Games,” he said.

BOOO-HOOO!!! SHAME ON YOU BARRACK!!! YOU COPYCAT!!!

IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING GOOD LEADERSHIP TO YOUR SURROGATES? HOW CAN YOU SHOW GOOD LEADERSHIP TO THIS HUGE COUNTRY???

VOTE HILLARY CLINTON AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!

NEWS FLASH!!!!!

Everythings going to be ok and you don’t need to worry about the election anymore.

Bush and Cheney have just declared the 2008 election has been postphoned until at least 2010.

This will give them more time to “get things figured out in Iraq and get the U.S. economy back on the right track”.

Personally I am so relieved!

So it’s open topic for the rest of the day.

Obama, Hillary, and McCain are flying back home now.

There is little question that Obama is a “smooth talker”. Anyone who has any brain power must realize that people who are “smooth talkers” must be watched carefully…..what they say often is their view of the world or they are trying to manipulate the truth for their own purposes. In such instances, an old approach is the “association relationship”….look at those who he desired to be around and you will get an idea of what is under the skin or behind the “spoken presentation”. This “smell test” for Obama is just terrible for all the associations with people who have a very odd pasts; Ayers, Wright, the two other priests, support from black panthers, Rezco, ….the list goes on and on. The speech does not define this man,,,rather for those smooth talkers it is those associations/relationships. Look at these to define what he represents rather the attempts to pull the wool over our eyes. Wake up america to this wolf in sheep clothing.

Lookit guy, you’ve been properly served. Yesterday I kickd you’re a$$ up and down this blog in debate. You were standing there looking like a tender little doe caught staring into the headlights. I blind-sided you so many times you didn’t know where you were gonna get hit next. By the time it was over American Conservative was slumped on the floor and Feeney had to help him to his corner.

Well thats the way it WOULD’VE happened if AC didn’t run with his tail between his legs. As soon as I showed up he made one post that said

I’VE ENJOYED BORING ALL MY LOYAL DEVOTEES TO DEATH BUT ITS TIME I HAVE TO GO TO WORK.

Ive never heard AC mention a job. It must be the job he made up to get the hell out of Dodge. Im not proud I’ll take the win by default but you my man are a loser. But then we’ve always known that. LOSER

I can’t stand either Democrat candidate, and you sir are a bigot.

If Condi Rice was running for President, I’d vote for her because she isn’t a racist bigot (Obama), nor is she a pathological liar (Hillary Clinton), nor is she a radical lunatic (both Democrat Candidates).

Kind of Black? I didn’t know there were different kinds of black. No one hates Americans, people both black and white hate some of the things that our country has done. I don’t know one person that hates white americans. I know some people that have problems with some things that others do, but its not a black or white thing.

Obama advance: ‘Get me more white people’

From the account in Carnegie Mellon’s paper, the Tartan, of a Michelle Obama event in Pittsburgh:

While the crowd was indeed diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama’s event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama.

The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”

“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’?” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. “I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”

Actually, I wouldn’t be giving them this kind of treatment because neither one to my knowledge are friends with a known domestic terrorist.

Both Powell and Rice have a lot of foreign policy experience, unlike Obama.

Also there are people that hate America, the members of the Iranian Government come to mind for starters, also Reverend Wright and William Ayers.

Reverend Wright is Obama’s mentor and idol.

William Ayers is a friend of Obama.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Condi Rice is a very nice person. I like her a lot, but I don’t agree with her politically. I hope she never runs for office because it would turn her into a crazy politician. She’s too nice for that. At the end of this administration, I hope she goes back to Stanford. She is not a racist or a bigot and neither is Sen. Obama. Condi Rice will even admit that. Sen. Clinton is not a pathological liar. She a politician, lying is what they do. Just like it this blog, people are lying all the time.
McCain is not a radical lunatic. He just seems that way b
