With that being said, I do believe that a lot of people have given their votes to freely to a person we knew nothing about and who’s very patriotism is now in question. We don’t know much about Obama and what we are starting to find out is very inflamatory. I think it is so sad because most of the primarys are over and he has a lead over Hillary. I have seen a couple of Obama supporters who have voted for him in the earlier primiaries questioning their decision now…but it is too late. If Hillary doesn’t pull this off, he will be our next democratic nominee and the democrats will lose their bid for the White House.

I am so disappointed in the way so many have “jumped” on his wagon. His blind following and his popularity is very similar to what happened with Hitler. Don’t take this statement for anything other than what it is. By the time people recoginzed him for what he was, it was too late. All of Obama’s “secrets” will come out eventually and he won’t have a chance to win the election. I am surprised the Democratic Party isn’t realizing this (know for sure in August if they are or not) and not doing something to stop this before their chances of the White House are gone.

If the American people were truly doing their homework and gave careful consideration to electing the next President of the United States, then can someone explain to me how we ended up where we are? I can’t believe more people didn’t say “who is this guy, what does he stand for, what is his record.” They listened to his speeches, mostly words said by others and taken from Hollywood movies, and went and voted for him. Not to mention the billionaires controlling the media and only certain news channels and internet sites reporting on the facts…again, the facts about Obama.

I am not counting Hillary out. I plan on voting for her in May and I have been talking to as many people as I can about the differences between the two candidates. I have no question as to her patriotism, her love for the American people, or her knowledge and experience on the issues we are faced with.

Whatever the outcome of this election, I would like to see the American people getting more involved in educating themselves on the candidates before they cast their votes.

WASHINGTON — Republican Sen. John McCain has “ERASED” Sen. Barack Obama’s 10-point advantage in a head-to-head matchup, leaving him essentially tied with both Democratic candidates in an Associated Press-Ipsos national poll released Thursday.

The survey showed the extended Democratic primary campaign creating divisions among supporters of Obama and rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and suggests a tight race for the presidency in November no matter which Democrat becomes the nominee.

McCain is benefiting from a bounce since he clinched the GOP nomination a month ago. The four-term Arizona senator has moved up in matchups with each of the Democratic candidates, particularly Obama.

An AP-Ipsos poll taken in late February had Obama leading McCain 51-41 percent.

“Jeff X” - you are correct that the Democrats got us into Name and the Republicans ended Nam, but nontheless, we should have been in Nam except we could have done the dirty job in allot less time and we could have taken the enemy out in very short order if Robert “bodybag” McNamara (a Democrat) allowed US forces to actually bomb over the targets and not miss the targets intentionally; and if “Bodybag” didn’t turn it into a political war. US forces could have hammered the enemy in no time at all if allowed. I agreed with the USA being in Nam in order to prevent the spread of communism in that part of the World as so much US interest such as trade routes were at stake…etc….and ultamately the US accomplished its goal by preventing communism from attaining its goal as we also did in Central America during the Reagan administration.
