I am a former marine who was stationed in many countries. I heard Obama pronunciating Iraq, Iran and Pakistan as the locals in those country would say it. i was impressed. So, I did a little research and found that his mother lived and worked for the WORLD’S LARGEST MUSLIM COUNTRY (Indonesia) and also she worked as a consultant to the WORLD’S ONLY NUCLEAR MUSLIM COUNTRY (Pakistan). Thats not so impressive.

Obama cites his mother to be an inspiration. I would raise a red-flag on his judgment/patriotism if his mother is his role model in POLITICS.

How does the hospital know that the deputy sheriff was talking about the same woman? In the NYTs article no family member or the deputy sheriff confirmed the hospital was talking about the same woman and hospital. the deputy nor Hillary ever said the woman’s name (in any of the speeches she has given) or the name of the hospital, so how is this confirmed as the same person? Any ways this isn’t Hillary’s fault, she often talks of stories she is told by people and if you can’t trust a law enforcement officer who can you trust?

will tell you a story that really happened. I was working at Carthage hospital on the grave yard shift. When a woman came in and her baby was being born the real sad part about it is she had just left the other hospital and thy turned her away. Her baby was born at 26 weeks I believe. She weighed just over 2 lbs. The mother was bleeding heavily. While I was taking care of her the other nurses were taking care of the baby. Now do you want to know why she was turned away at the other hospital because she didn’t have insurance. How sad and WRONG. Well Ido have a happy ending to this story. It was certainly nice to see that Obama and the Clinton’s were able to take advantage of the Bush Tax Cuts I would imagine the Clinton’s made an extra 5 - 10 million over a six or seven year period as a result of the the Bush Tax Cuts … Obama probably a few hundred thousand last year … Rev. Wright, don’t believe he pays taxes … most of his income is funneled through his church so he probably ends up paying nothing.

At least the Clintons gave 10 million to charities over six or seven years.

You’re last blog is simply silly. All the candidates have voted in support of the war since they were able too. Barack’s only claim to fame in this regard was the fact he wasn’t in the Senate when the war started and thus he didn’t get to vote. As luck would have it though, his votes concerning the war have been consistent with both Hillary and McCain and there is little reason to believe he’d have been any different then the rest as even Kennedy voted for it.

As for the national debt, Obama is clearly going to increase the debt or renig on his promises. His proposals are 750 billion more annually then the present budget and he can not account for about 600 billion dollars of it. That means he will either raise the deficit another 2.4 trillion or not do any of the things he’s promising. He’s a fraud.

As for McCains statement, it is true he said he needs to brush up on the economy but let me ask you, what is Baracks experience? I don’t believe he ever ran a business, sought a degree in economics, or even balanced a budget outside of his own. So tell me, what experience does he have????

Where as you may feel his world experience or that of his mother is a detriment, I believe that it gives him a unique world view and perspective. His mother, in my view, looks to be a good role model, why is “red-flag” (as you put it) raised about Obama’s mother?

Headlines are such powerful persuaders, aren’t they? Wonder why Hillary’s negatives are high, and wonder why people think she’s dishonest. Try investigating any other person to the extent Hillary has been investigated, and I don’t think you could find a person at the top of the political game, who would come out looking any more honest.

The headline could have just as easily read…”Obama lies again about lobbyists’ involvement in campaign”, or “Obama lies again about Rezko connection”, or “Obama lies about taking money from employees of oil and gas indus.”, or “Obama earned reputation of “gutless” and “absent” in Il. Senate”, or “Obama, why must you be so disingenuous about your true intentions”, or “Obama, ambitious, yes…tough, no”, and the list could go on and on….Headlines such as these would quickly earn Obama the moniker of “dishonest”. The media is oh so powerful !!!

I personally think Hillary is honest, or at least as honest as the average citizen in this country. It’s true….Hillary is part of the Washinton scene, but whether we like it or not, this is a necessary evil in order to be an affective leader.

Voters say they want to hear the truth, but the truth isn’t always rosy, and it often requires sacrifice…the minute a politician starts telling voters the complete truth, is the minute voters run the other way. We, the voters, are partly to blame for politicians being just that…politicians..

I don’t hold it against her either as ALL politicians do it, but if not for her mistake, Obama might have fallen for good.

Hilary Clinton and the Clinton lie machine will do anything, including lie, to get a political advantage. No one seems to realize that candidate make mistakes, they are human, but then it boils down to trust.

Can you trust Hilary to tell the American people the truth? Just like GW Bush and his weapons of mass distraction. I couldn’t disagree with you more regarding Obama. He simply untrustworthy, never tells anyone anything until he’s caught up in a lie or situation, and has shown himself to be potentially anti-American.

Obama and his connection with Rezko pales in comparison with the numerous Clinton scandals ( travelgate, whitewater, etc etc)

A couple of thing you don’t know about the Obama-Rezko misunderstanding:

1. They met in 1990. Obama was a student at Harvard Law School and got an unsolicited job offer from Rezko, then a low-income housing developer in Chicago. Obama turned it down.

2. Obama took a job in 1993 with a small Chicago law firm, Davis Miner Barnhill, that represents developers — primarily not-for-profit groups — building low-income housing with government funds.

3. One of the firm’s not-for-profit clients — the Woodlawn Preservation and Investment Corp., co-founded by Obama’s then-boss Allison Davis — was partners with Rezko’s company in a 1995 deal to convert an abandoned nursing home at 61st and Drexel into low-income apartments. Altogether, Obama spent 32 hours on the project, according to the firm. Only five hours of that came after Rezko and WPIC became partners, the firm says. The rest of the future senator’s time was helping WPIC strike the deal with Rezko. Rezko’s company, Rezmar Corp., also partnered with the firm’s clients in four later deals — none of which involved Obama……..

Atleast, senators like Hillary Clinton admitted, that her worst mistake in her political life was voting for War in Iraq (She said that in her last debate with Obama). Many senators who voted for war have lived to regret their decision. Yet we have this McCain who will continue to be shameless and keep us there if things go his way for another 100 years.

McCain, voted not just for the war, but McCain continues to espouse that same flawed Republican “who is the Alpha male” philosophy of fighting a war on the flimsiest of the grounds no matter what the cost, no matter what the cost to our economy, no matter how much debt we incur in the process, no matter how much hatred it breeds of America, in the lands where we are fighting this flimsy war.

He will leave us there for an undetermined amount of time. He espouses a policy which will continue our presence in a place where most locals overwhelmingly consider American presence as an occupation and who just plain flat out want us out.

McCain wants to continue our presence in a place that was and continues to be antagonistic to Americans. McCain wants to pursue the same flawed Republican foreign policy that breeds more terrorists than we end up killing.

A vote for McCain = a vote for spreading our military thin for ages.
A vote for McCain = a vote for spending beyond our means for an undetermined period of time to fund the unwinnable war in Iraq.
A vote for McCain = a vote for a war monger.

I know it’s difficult for you to see the media attack Hillary but this has been happening to the republicans for years. I do empathasize though and just wish the media could report the facts and stop trying to slant public opinion.
