You know, it just dawned on me. Reagan was shown working on his “ranch”, Bush Sr. out in a boat in the Atlantic fishing, Bush Jr. in a pick up on his “ranch”, heck even Carter the wimp had a hammer in his hands building houses, but have you EVER seen Clinton doing ANYTHING that a guy would do?
(Sorry, chasing interns doesn’t count) Seriously, I can’t remember a single time I’ve seen him in a truck, on a tractor or boat, or with a tool, (I mean a REAL tool) in his hands.

I wish we could go back in time when the spouse of the President was hardly seen. You know, those times when Mamie Eisenhower was only seen at White House Rose garden tea parties or Jackie Kennedy was only seen, and not heard and the biggest item about them was women commented on their outfits. I guess that’ll only happen when it’s a Republican President. If it’s a Democratic President, you get a two-for, in Bill Clintons case, will be a loud mouth spouting HER views yet no one voted for HER, but we get to hear them anyhow, or this time it could be Michelle Obama, (does anyone really want to hear HER views)?

What about a woman President. Well if it’s a Republican woman, and we’d assume a Republican “First Man” (not that we’d really want to see them but the present day media would feel the need to), he’d maybe be shown out in the White House garage working on his 1967 GTO classic car, maybe out in the woods hunting for deer, our in a jon boat hunting ducks, (be careful Cheney might be along), or maybe at a football game or NASCAR event. If it’s a Democrat “First Man” we’d see them out in the White House Rose Garden having a tea party…oh wait…maybe we CAN go back.

John McCain is the most quailified canidate. He looks and act like a president. The Economist had a great write up about the dems fighting leaving McCain the ability to define himself and working on things that matter - foreign relations, enviornmental concerns and tax relief!

Where is Michelle? really who cares. Cindy dresses better than all of them!

I think he would really balance McCain out. It needs to be a wise well thought out decision, we sure don’t want to give our right wing buddies any help. God help us if one of those wackos get in office.

Huckabee is awesome!
I’ve got his bumper sticker on my car (I can’t bring myself to remove it).
He is the only candidate to whose campaign I’ve ever contributed (three or four times).
McCain/Huckabee . . . sounds GREAT to me!!!
