Clinton Claims She Never Said Obama Can’t Win
Hillary Clinton denied reports that she tried to pursuade NM Governor Bill Richardson to endorse her by telling him that Barack Obama could not win the general election in November.
At a media availability in Burbank, CA, Sen Clinton said “I have consistently made the case that I can win, because I believe I can win. And sometimes people draw the conclusion I’m saying somebody else can’t win. I can win. I know I can win. That’s why I do this every day and that’s what my campaign is about. I’m in it to win it, and I intend to do just that.”
Asked point blank whether she’d made the alleged remark, she said “that’s a no.”
As her campaign announced that it had raised $20m in March — just half as much as Sen Obama raised in the same period — Sen Clinton also denied that her campaign is in financial crisis. “I’ll have enough money to compete,” she said. “Obviously Senator Obama has more than enough money to compete.”
Clinton also said the recent spate of bad economic news makes her feel like “Paulette Revere. ‘The recession is coming, the recession is coming.’ And at some point, maybe somebody will actually do something about it.”

She doesn’t think either of her opponents are well equipped to take action. “I just hope that we can avoid a deep and broad and long lasting recession so that we’ll have some maneuverable options when the next president is sworn in,” she said. “Because if it’s John McCain we know nothing will happen. my opponent Senator Obama has been very timid and unenthusiastic about doing anything with the economy.”
And she denied that an upcoming trip to the North Dakota state Democratic convention is designed to “poach” pledged delegates who are supporting Obama — saying “there is no such thing as a pledged delegate. That is a misnomer. There are delegates who are selected one way or another at some stage of the process.”
“The whole point is for delegates, however they are chosen, to really ask themselves who would be the best president and who would be our best nominee against Senator McCain. And I think that process goes all the way to the convention,” she said.
She seemed to be enjoying herself in the California sun, telling one embedded network producer she loved his no-socks look and then chiding him gently for a question she didn’t think was accurate, saying “I think that your question, with all due respect my friend because you have been a stalwart embed throughout this campaign, doesn’t really explain the process.”

She didn’t deny that she was going to try and poach delegates. She’d better watch out or else she might find that one of her pledged delegates defects to Obama and her own words can be used against her if she gets upset.

Hillary is the unelectable one. She has too much baggage. She’s waged a nasty campaign and has lied about her positions (on NAFTA) and her service to the country as first lady (re Bosnia.) Furthermore, her husband is not helping, YET AGAIN. His childish tantrums really make them look desperate. She’s failed to win her own party. How is she going to bring home the prize? She isn’t. I have Republican friends who were badly disillusioned by the Iraq war and are now supporting Obama in part to send a message to their party. I think he began a relationship with Wright to launch his political career, but in the process he has tainted himself with Wright’s aura. The Obama’s have realized every advantage that being an American Citizen can bring. If ever two people had a moral duty to speak out against Wright’s racist and anti-American rants it was Michelle and Barack Obama. They just can’t be given a pass on this failure.

Awhile ago, I walked down my street and came across what I thought it was a homeless man begging for change. Upon closer inspection I saw that it was John McCain who had his jar extended.
Which all I know is, if anybody here is serious about getting McCain elected, you better start coughing up some dinero too this man’s campaign. You know those tv ads aren’t free.

People in the state of Pennsylvania and other states should not vote for Hillary Clinton because after telling a lie about sniper fire in Bosnia and smiling about it when she told the story is scary. A person that lies about being shot at and almost losing there life is scary, and to smile about it, a person must have some real issues and no heart. There are troops actually getting shot at and dying for real, and she is smiling while telling her story about the Bosnia trip to the people, shows signs of being a liar and evil. There are families who troops have died in actual sniper fire, and she just lies and smiles about it like it is nothing, that scary. People on the streets of the USA who have been shot and killed, families loved one’s have been murdered, and for her to laugh and smile about getting shot at and almost dying is horrible thing for any human to do. I know troops who were offended by the sniper comment in Bosnia. When Hillary lied about that she let the american people know she does not care about lying or the troops fight for us. Nobody should want a president who lies about being shot at, then smile about it. If she lies about death, she would lie about anything.
