It’s good Theatre to stir up people to help a man get 1.6 Million Dollors to build a house for his retirement, tho! while preaching against “typical white people” who work hard for their money every day….not just ranting and raving on Sunday morning. The middle class didn’t get where they are by sitting around spouting BS about America!

I was a typical middle class white child, but my father left before I was born, but my Mother raised me and a sibling without any help from the Government. One of the most important things after learning to work, I cherish learning from her was a favorite poem “I Am An American “—one she memorized and “gave in a Reading of in School”. She often recited to us when we were children, too. She didn’t want anyone giving us handouts, she never “dised” the Government, she attended a Church where LOVE not Hate was the order of the day, and when she was able (often worked two jobs) she helped her fellow persons who were needy—all the rest of her life.
Because of her: This is the America I believe in. Not one where we fear people because they have more, or because of their skin color. But, when people associate with people for over 20 yrs. who preach Hate it makes me wonder about how they really feel no matter how much they say “I was going to leave the Church, but he (the Pastor) was going to retire”.

Also, because we stayed with a relative who didn’t take Old Age Assistance until she was 75 yrs. of age (also worked until that time), I was taught to “be seen and not heard (or not speak unless spoken to–the older way of children listening to their elders)”, so I learned to Listen. This has always helped with my listening skills. And I hear Obama’s changes in what he says —each time altering why he won’t leave association with “The Rev.” J. Wright, “his Mentor”, too. The man he took the title of his book, “The Audisity of Hope” from a Wright’s “sermon”.

McCain has lived his “Hope” all of his life (actually Obama has too). But John McCain shows us by example how we all can get along—how “Change” has been here for years. He doesn’t have to write about it. He lives that way. He’s always lived that way: one could say, “He (John McCain) doesn’t just talk the talk. He walks the walk.”
