Think of the younger generation who are locked out of housing market for past 5 years because house prices doubled but most salaries didn’t. So anyone who couldn’t get on the bus is locked out (unless they make outrageous amounts of money).

Now they want to keep the home prices artificially inflated by taking the tax money of renters (who don’t get mortgage interest deduction) to give to lousy borrowers (who bought something that they can’t really afford without bailout)!

Unfortunately, as I’ve previously stated as far back as “Super Tuesday” in February, the Clintons will do whatever necessary to get seated back in the White House. Senator Clinton simply does not have the credentials necessary to be President of the United States. She’s obnoxious, rude, shallow and aloof of those around her. Her most recent actions, those being her remarks about her abilities when it comes for foreign policy are marked by her fabrications of her landing in a “hot zone”. She may be a legend in her own mind, but that’s certainly not the person that the American citizens need leading our country. Senator Obama on the other hand, has continued to remain, for the most part, above the fray, not lowering himself to Senator Clinton’s or her husband’s level. Now it seems, that Ms. Clinton feels that the party should take a hard look at counting the Electoral College delegate for her in order that she might come closer to Senator Obama’s lead thus far in the primary. How disgusting does it need to become before someone with a sense of fairness and command within the party steps in and points out to Ms. Clinton that her actions are destestable. Hopefully, they don’t feel that if they do, the Clintons will come after them. I could go on about it like the news agencies, but everyone already knows that in order to step up to the plate for the welfare of the American people and the party which Hillary Clinton belongs to, she would have to be a big enough person to admit she truly wants what’s best for the country, and we all know, she just doesn’t have the character of being that type of person. I wouldn’t hire her to fetch abstracts, even with her law degree. She remains in this person’s opinion, untrustworthy to hold the highest office in the land.

She is trying to hand the election to John McCain. I find it quite humurous that the only things she can come up with is: Rezco and Rev. Wright. You google both of their names with scandals along side it and see who has more. Then educate yourself on both canidates then go and vote. I compare Hillary to child predators, once a predator always a predator; once a liar always a liar!!

I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country and people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics
Actually, as is indicated by the quote itself, President Clinton was talking about the need to talk about issues, rather than falsely questioning any candidate’s patriotism.

He was lamenting that these kind of distractions “always seems to intrude” on political campaigns. This is consistent with his criticism of the “politics of personal destruction,” which dates back 16 years.

Obama’s surrogates have engaged in a sustained public relations effort to convince people that the election is over and that if super delegates perform their established role of choosing a candidate who they believe will make the best nominee and president, they are somehow “overturning the will of the people.” They have the audacity to make this argument while quietly and systematically courting those very same super delegates. They are courting them because they know that Sen. Obama needs super delegates to win. The Obama spin is being parroted daily by pundits, but it is patently false. The race is virtually tied; the “will of the people” is split. By virtually every measure, Hillary and Sen. Obama are neck and neck — separated by less than 130 of the more than 3,100 delegates committed thus far and less than 1% of the 27 million+ votes cast, including Florida and Michigan. Less than 1%.

An incremental advantage for one candidate or the other is hardly a reason for super delegates to change the rules mid-game. Despite the Obama campaign’s aggressive spin and pressure, the RULES require super delegates to exercise their best independent judgment, and that is what they will do. Even Sen. Obama’s top strategist agrees they should. If not, then why don’t prominent Obama endorsers like Senators Kerry (MA) and Kennedy (MA), and Governors Patrick (MA), Napolitano (AZ) and Richardson (NM) follow the will of their constituents and switch their support to Hillary? After all, she won their states. And if this is truly about the “will of the people,” then Sen. Obama’s short-sighted tactic to run out the clock on a revote in Florida and Michigan accomplishes exactly two things: it disenfranchises Florida and Michigan’s voters; and it hurts Democrats in a general election. Apparently, for the Obama campaign, the “will of the people” is just words.

MYTH: Barack Obama is running a positive campaign that will unite Americans.

FACT: Barack Obama and his advisers have conducted a divisive “full assault” on Hillary’s character.

While talking a lot about the politics of hope, change and unity, Sen. Obama and his campaign have been conducting a relentless and singularly personal assault on Hillary’s character. They have blanketed big states with false negative mailers and radio ads and have described Hillary and her campaign as “disingenuous,” “divisive,” “untruthful,” “dishonest,” “polarizing,” “calculating,” “saying whatever it takes to win,” “attempting to deceive the American people,” “one of the most secretive in America,” “deliberately misleading,” “literally willing to do anything to win,” and “playing politics with war.”

This “full assault” on Hillary’s integrity and character has reached a new peak since Hillary’s victories on March 4th. One of Sen. Obama’s top surrogates equated President Clinton with Joe McCarthy; another called Hillary a “monster;” and his campaign manager held an angry conference call claiming that Hillary is “deeply flawed” and has “character issues.” That’s neither unifying nor hopeful. If Sen. Obama really is the prohibitive favorite some say he is, these negative attacks make absolutely no sense. Why would a frontrunner seek to attack and divide? If Sen. Obama can’t unify Democrats in a primary, how can he unify Americans in a general election?

Intersting the only thing you Republicans can talk about in Clintons term as President is Moncia Lewinsky. Maybe first of all you should get out your history books and look at George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Taft, FDR, and others. Bill had an affair, GET OVER IT. George Bush stood in front of the American public as did Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfield and lied about weapons of mass destruction. Weather you back the war or not - his dishonesty and lies to the public are far worse than having an affair (which by the way didn’t kill anyone and cost this country trillons we don’t have)…

By the way, Bill is not our candidate - Hillary is.

I can say I don’t see the Democrats being so hateful and mean on these blogs as our Republican co-Americans.

I really don’t think that the Democratic Party can be repaired given the two choice candidates. A Hillary/Obama ticket is impossible because there is no way that Hillary supporters will vote Obama into office for President or Vice President. The Hillary supporters are too upset with Trinity and won’t they be able to move past it until after the election. It is too bad for Obama that he stayed with this church all these years. He could have fixed it all simply by admitting it was wrong but he refused to do it. To make matters worse for Obama, he brought his grandma into a political speech. This was another mistake on Obama’s part. There are some things that deserve privacy and that moment between he and his grandmother should have remained just that, private. This is clearly a battle between the Democratic Party now. The supporters are in it for the long hall even if that means their choice candidate isn’t selected for President just because the beliefs they hold are very strong. My guess is that Hillary will be the one to get selected over Obama and she should choose her VP elect carefully. One thing is for sure, RACE should have stayed out of the race. May this be a lesson for future Presidential Elects and may they choose their spiritual advisors more carefully in the future.

The Obama campaign’s full assault on Hillary is expanding into a full assault on the truth.

The memo the Obama campaign released today is full of blatantly inaccurate information and false innuendo, intended to denigrate Hillary’s critical role in the passage of SCHIP and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Clearly, they believe that the media will overlook the facts and follow another false, trivial story line of their creation.

On SCHIP, Sen. Ted Kennedy said, “The children’s health program wouldn’t be in existence today if we didn’t have Hillary pushing for it from the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.” At the time of passage in 1997, Sen. Kennedy said, “we pay tribute to Mrs. Clinton. Mrs. Clinton has made the issue of children’s health and well-being her really first priority in this country, and she was of invaluable help, both in the fashioning and the shaping of the program, and also as a clear advocate, in terms of having an effective outcome, during the discussion and the debate on the children’s health issue.”

Factcheck.org says “Despite disparagement from political rivals, we find she deserves ample credit for expanding children’s health insurance.” More facts HERE.

On FMLA, Debra Ness, President of the National Partnership for Women and Families, the organization that worked for years on the issue, said “Hillary was instrumental in getting the Family and Medical Leave Act signed into law…Hillary brought her work and experience on behalf of children and working families to the campaign trail in 1991 and 1992 and knew the importance of getting this legislation passed immediately.” More facts HERE.

Sen. Obama will not release the name of the broker who managed his controversial ’semi-blind’ trust:

He said Wednesday he decided the $100,000 could be put into something “more high risk” and asked a friend to recommend a stock broker. That friend was donor George W. Sen. Obama touts his new decision to disclose his U.S. Senate earmarks but he refuses to release all earmarks from his time in the state senate:

Obama has been silent on non-federal earmarks he secured while serving in State Senate. “Sen. Barack Obama is open about the pet projects he’s tucked into federal legislation, but it’s a different story when it comes to the extra spending he added to state budgets while serving in the Illinois Legislature…. When Obama served in the state Legislature, from 1997 until late 2004, it was routine for money to be added to the annual budget for lawmakers to dole out. In most years, this was done without any public record of which legislator was sponsoring which grant, leaving no way to tell how Obama used his share of the money. [AP, 3/13/08]

Over 20 years of Hillary Clinton’s tax returns have been previously released, hundreds of thousands of pages of records from her time in White House and countless other documents detailing her time in public life. Sen. Obama’s record is far more opaque.

Sen. Obama has not released any records from his time in the state senate:

Does anyone have the registered Democrat total vote for Hillary? The info I saw was 52% for Hillary and 48% for BO including votes in Florida and Michigan(they were giving BO all of the uncommitted votes,funny) The others that pushed up OB’s numbers were Independents and Republicans. She still was within 97,000 votes including MI and FL.
Who are these people that think Hillary should quit? Would they if the difference was 97,000?

On the Rasmussen poll today, it says that 22% of the people polled want Hillary Clinton to drop out, and 22% want Barack Obama to drop out. SO THEY ARE TIED WITH THAT POLL AS WELL.NO ONE IS LEAVING THIS RACE- that’s for sure!
