McCain reacts to 4,000 dead in Iraq
Chula Vista, CA — Just back from his trip to Iraq, Sen. John McCain focused Monday on the progress being made on the ground during a San Diego-area town hall meeting without commenting on the news today that the U.S. has lost 4,000 soldiers in the conflict.
During a subsequent media availability, McCain was asked why he did not mention the latest milestone in the five-year war. The presumptive GOP nominee said he honors the troops every day.
“I have commented on hundreds of occasions of the sacrifice the great and brave, young Americans have made in Iraq and elsewhere in the world in the struggle against radical, Islamic extremism. I wear a bracelet on my hand…not only as a symbol of the sacrifice that a brave young man named Matthew Stanley made, but that…of 4,000 other brave, young Americans who have served and sacrificed as well. My thoughts and my prayers go out to those families every day, not just on the day that 4,000 brave, young Americans have sacrificed. And I have said that repeatedly on hundreds of occasions.”
McCain focused Monday on the importance of winning the current battle with insurgents in Mosul, adding that he doesn’t believe he will change the current strategy from the one President Bush is pursuing in Iraq.

God bless our soldiers and the families of the fallen soldiers. Wheither you agree with this war or not, we must pay respect for those that are defending our freedoms. USA-08
God Bless Our Soldiers.
Yes, God bless our soldiers who serve to protect America and our rights and freedoms!
Keep our soldiers in your prayers..I was in the military years ago and thought at one time we were going to war..it was just a drill in basic training, but i remember how scared i was.
God Bless our brave men and women who are serving in Iraq whether they want to or not. They are so brave and deserve our utmost respect and love.
It is only those like McCain and Bush who don’t have anything invested in this war that feel we should keep it going. I’ve had three different family members who have served more than one tour in either Iraq or Afghanastan. One is still in Iraq. These are, like 90% of the others, very young men. That’s the tragedy of it all, they are sent without proper training, etc. We cannot love or support these young men more than they deserve and they deserve to COME HOME!!!!

March 24th, 2008 at 6:50 pm …I also sincerely pray your loved one returns safely from the conflict. They’ve all made immense sacrifices.
God bless those souls.
God bless America!
we keep the soldiers and families in our prayers. May they all be together again soon.
If BO or the Banshee get in, all this will be for nothing.
The most costly thing about this war are the lives of our soldiers. McCain says a health plan as Hillary thinks could be put into effect would cost an enormous amount of money. No amount of money could be as costly as a war. First the lives of our troops and then the billions of dollars being spent to fund the war that is enormous !
Putting one’s life on the line has always been a part of the military, and this is a voluntary profession. Having served for over 22 years myself and coming from a family of military members and retirees from WW2 to current we had this common theme “to serve” at all times whether we deployed overseas or to hot spots. We knew what could happen and prepared well for any eventually. I grief greatly for all who have fallen from WW1, WW2, Korean and Vietnam, they all should be honored. Each conflict was for a noble cause and Iraq is one of them as much as the dems try to lessen their sacrifice. There truely in the bigger picture is no difference between these conflicts except one…those in the current military are all volunteers…they wanted to serve! And yet this is frequently forgotten from the left wing press and most dems.
Those military members in Iraq know they are helping and yet the left wing/dems want to pull the rug out from underneath them. Even when the progress is well documented they put their blinders on and cover their ears and “see nothing”. Shame on them for even suggesting the enslavement of millions by simply “taking their marbles home” and leaving the population to the iranian thugs/terrorists. How the dems are able to believe what occurred in the past of slavery in the US was wrong and this enslavement is “OK” is beyond comprehension.
These fallen military members must be honored forever…they have under the very negative left wing press continued the support to the nation in the time of need. The dems seem to have a habit of running away from the tough issues and not asking the military to do what they were trained for from the very beginning. A bigger question here is whether the dems believe the military should all be brought home from everywhere and not even protect the borders. Remember, you can not simply put the military in “mothball” and then when someone pokes you in the eye expect to have a very effective performance. Obama and less so Clinton will gut the military and Obama will do the greatest damage of all. OUR NATION CAN ONLY SURVIVE BY FIGHTING CONFLICTS OVERSEAS, IF WE WAIT FOR THE BATTLE TO BE FOUGHT ON OUR SHORES WE WILL LOSE MANY MORE UNNECESSARILY.
I lost my son at 19.in a diving accident the summer of his Senior year…He was a Marine Cadet in a Private Military HS in Texas…although he didn’t lose his life in battle …He loved his country so much..He lived by the CODE OF HONOR..and would have gladly given hs life like our Soldiers have…I cry everytime one of our Soldiers make that ultimate sacrifice…My prayers are with thier family and always with our Great Nation..
God Bless America….Stand Beside Her…
Pray For Our Troops…Always
God Bless the Men and Women of the Armed Forces, thier Families and Loved Ones, and All our Citizens who support them!

Politics aside - God Bless them and their families.
Bless everyone that serves, to protect this country. Forgive the ones that have no respect for the rights they have given them. Most people who do not serve can not understand. I doubt obama can even fathom.

**** Of Course we want them home but you fail to realize the people they are fighting want us DEAD!
Many served in Vietnam ,. my husband had two tours there. I still think of this war as much like Vietnam. I remember it said the war had to be fought there in Vietnam to keep from having to fight it here. I believe that was to keep communsim from taking over this country. Then I also heard communist would not fight here and bomb America because they did not want this country war torn they wanted it as it was and would just take it in ways other than war . I believe there might be some truth in that and could be happen. Many things seem to point to that , weakening our military by fighting in Iraq and sapping our funds for the war. Something to think about , but certainly not something we would want to happen.
EJ
I take great offense that you think our soldiers are not properly trained. My brother has served for 22+ years in the military and has survived through two wars. The Gulf War and the War in Iraq. He is the recipient of the Bronze star and the Purple Heart. He still carries shrapnel in his body from Iraq.
He is also in charge of training our men and women with urban combat. I KNOW the training they are recieving and it is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! Why do you think military from all over the world seek us out to train with???
Make sure you know your facts before you make a very ignorant comment like that.
God Bless the men and women of our service. Words are no way near enough to say THANK YOU!!!

question is ….
Do you want to fight these nut cases here or there..????
Do you want curfews here or there.???
Do you want to go the the market and get blown up.??? Or for markets in Iraq to get bombed.??
YOU NEED TO GET A GRIP..
These people want us dead… Right now they are defending their land (the middle east.)
Let them off the defence and they will be on offence HERE …
When we are no longer in Iraq they will still be fighting . They just fight and have fought forever . It is much like trying to teach a lion, you don’t kill for food there is plenty without killing ,but they still have an instinct to kill and it seems that is much the way those people think. Women there ,I say no they do not think kill , but the men do , as if it is born and bred in them.It is sad but I don’t for see in a lifetime of my children or grandchildren those people living in peace.
From someone who probably hasn’t been serious one day on this blog, I would like to say in all seriousness:
I salute the men and woman of our Armed Forces. You are the best in the world and you do our Country proud. Thank you to all their families.
Can people be brainwashed into thinking BEING THERE IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO??
ALWAYS GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES ! THEY ARE THE BEST !
Sister OF A SOLDIER—– I can relate to you and your feelings. My son is an American SOLDIER. He has been deployed from 3 times. He is home now, and he wears a T shirt now that says, HE THAT SHEDS BLOOD BLOOD WITH ME, IS MY BROTHER!!!!!!!
There once was a President who came under opposition from the people for a war and that was Lincoln. I am so thankful to all the men and women who fight for our freedoms, because if we all remember the difference with this fight and some other fights is that they did strike us here with the towers, government building and with the plane in which those brave men tried to take back from the terrorist. These men and women are helping the Iraq people gain democracy and stop extremest and al-Qauda, a good cause , and I admire them greatly. I hope the men and women do not think we do not believe in what they are working so hard in over there. I myself love to see a Iraq child and a American soldier walking down a street smiling and laughing.
The extremest and muslim people need to know we will not leave them now.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND GOD BLES THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ..REST IN PEACE BRAVE SOLDIERS AND THANK YOU FOR MY FREEDOM

FACT CHECK: Sen. Obama Accepts Over $1 Million From Subprime Lending Industry
The Obama campaign’s response to the comprehensive plan Hillary laid out to address the housing crisis today was not to discuss their disagreement with her proposal but to assert that Hillary has received contributions from subprime loan companies.
Considering that Sen. Obama has received $1.18 million from subprime lenders and has taken more campaign contributions from the top ten issuers of subprime loans, that attack rings hollow as just words. Sen. Obama has a record of talking about standing up to special interests and then caving to their demands. Hillary has a 35-year record of standing up to special interests and delivering results.

MYTH: Barack Obama is running a positive campaign that will unite Americans.
FACT: Barack Obama and his advisers have conducted a divisive “full assault” on Hillary’s character.
While talking a lot about the politics of hope, change and unity, Sen. Obama and his campaign have been conducting a relentless and singularly personal assault on Hillary’s character. They have blanketed big states with false negative mailers and radio ads and have described Hillary and her campaign as “disingenuous,” “divisive,” “untruthful,” “dishonest,” “polarizing,” “calculating,” “saying whatever it takes to win,” “attempting to deceive the American people,” “one of the most secretive in America,” “deliberately misleading,” “literally willing to do anything to win,” and “playing politics with war.”
This “full assault” on Hillary’s integrity and character has reached a new peak since Hillary’s victories on March 4th. One of Sen. Obama’s top surrogates equated President Clinton with Joe McCarthy; another called Hillary a “monster;” and his campaign manager held an angry conference call claiming that Hillary is “deeply flawed” and has “character issues.” That’s neither unifying nor hopeful. If Sen. Obama really is the prohibitive favorite some say he is, these negative attacks make absolutely no sense. Why would a frontrunner seek to attack and divide? If Sen. Obama can’t unify Democrats in a primary, how can he unify Americans in a general election?
=====
MYTH: The delegate “math” works decisively against Hillary.
FACT: The delegate math reflects an extremely close race that either candidate can win.
“The Math” is actually very simple: with hundreds of delegates still uncommitted, NEITHER candidate has reached the number of delegates required to secure the nomination. And EITHER candidate can reach the required number in the coming weeks and months. That is indisputable. No amount of editorials, articles, blog posts, charts, graphs, calculations, formulas, or projections will change the basic fact that either candidate can win. Pundits who confidently proclaim that Hillary has no hope of winning because of “the math,” have counted Hillary out of this race three times before. Each time they based their sober assessments on ‘facts’ and ‘realities’ — and each time they were wrong.
In a campaign with dozens of unexpected twists and turns, bold prognostications should be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism. Look no further than Sen. Obama’s “full assault” on Hillary’s character to judge whether he thinks this election is over. The fact is this: Hillary and Sen. Obama are locked in a very close, hard-fought campaign and Hillary is demonstrating precisely the strength of character required of a president. Her resilience in the face of adversity, her faith in the voters, her capacity to rise to every challenge, are part of the reason she is the best general election candidate for Democrats. And it is why she is increasingly strong against John McCain in the polls at the same time that Sen. Obama is dropping against Sen. McCain.
MYTH: For Hillary to win, super delegates must “overturn the will of the people.”
FACT: The race is virtually tied, the “will of the people” is split, and both candidates need super delegates to win.
The Obama campaign and Sen. Obama’s surrogates have engaged in a sustained public relations effort to convince people that the election is over and that if super delegates perform their established role of choosing a candidate who they believe will make the best nominee and president, they are somehow “overturning the will of the people.” They have the audacity to make this argument while quietly and systematically courting those very same super delegates. They are courting them because they know that Sen. Obama needs super delegates to win. The Obama spin is being parroted daily by pundits, but it is patently false. The race is virtually tied; the “will of the people” is split. By virtually every measure, Hillary and Sen. Obama are neck and neck — separated by less than 130 of the more than 3,100 delegates committed thus far and less than 1% of the 27 million+ votes cast, including Florida and Michigan. Less than 1%.
An incremental advantage for one candidate or the other is hardly a reason for super delegates to change the rules mid-game. Despite the Obama campaign’s aggressive spin and pressure, the RULES require super delegates to exercise their best independent judgment, and that is what they will do. Even Sen. Obama’s top strategist agrees they should. If not, then why don’t prominent Obama endorsers like Senators Kerry (MA) and Kennedy (MA), and Governors Patrick (MA), Napolitano (AZ) and Richardson (NM) follow the will of their constituents and switch their support to Hillary? After all, she won their states. And if this is truly about the “will of the people,” then Sen. Obama’s short-sighted tactic to run out the clock on a revote in Florida and Michigan accomplishes exactly two things: it disenfranchises Florida and Michigan’s voters; and it hurts Democrats in a general election. Apparently, for the Obama campaign, the “will of the people” is just words.

RE: Obama Campaign: Just Words
At this point, it’s no secret that the Obama campaign is in political hot water given the news stories of the last few weeks and is desperate to change the subject.
The ground is shifting away from them and their response?
First, disenfranchise voters - Prevent new votes in Florida and Michigan. Stop voting in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, Kentucky, South Dakota, Montana, West Virginia and Indiana.
Second, peddle photos of President Clinton shaking hands with Reverend Wright less than 48 hours after calling for a high-minded conversation on race. Well, President Clinton took tens of thousands of photos during his eight years as president. Stop the presses.
Third, accuse our campaign of having something to do with Senator Obama’s passport file being breached, a reckless charge that has zero merit.
Fourth, continue attacks on Senator Clinton’s character in an effort to implement what the Chicago Tribune called a full assault on her ethics.
Fifth, stonewall the press: no tax returns, no state records, no answers about the inconsistencies in the Rezko story.
So it’s not a pretty sight - it’s all part of a pattern of just words.
Senator Obama talks about voter participation while actively disenfranchising millions.
He calls for high minded debates while practicing lowdown politics.
He promises a different kind of campaign while attacking Hillary’s character.
He promises transparency while hiding basic info and stonewalling the press.
It’s no wonder that Americans are coming to see that for all of his lofty rhetoric, Senator Obama’s candidacy is really just words.
It’s no surprise that Americans are expressing serious doubts about his ability to answer the 3am call.
It’s no wonder that top journalists are calling the Obama campaign desperate, saying that it’s amateur hour in Chicago.
Disclosure
On a week when 11,000 pages of Hillary’s White House schedule were made available to the public, the Obama campaign is continuing to attack Hillary’s transparency. At the same time, the Obama campaign has not released a single page of his state senate schedule or records.
There are 20 years of Hillary’s tax returns in the public record and she will release all of her post-White House returns next month. Sen. Obama has released one year of his tax returns to the public and refuses to release any other years.

Myth: Hillary and Bill Clinton have control over which documents are released from the Clinton Library.
Fact: Under federal law, records at the Clinton Library are the property of the U.S. government—not Hillary or Bill Clinton. These records are in the custody and control of the National Archives.
As noted in the Washington Post, “Presidential papers can’t be released at the snap of a finger”; so “[c]alling on the Clintons to release their papers makes for great campaign theater. But it’s theater that has no bearing on reality.” [Washington Post, 2/8/08; 3/1/08].
Myth: Hillary and Bill Clinton have control over when documents from the Clinton Library are made public.
Fact: The Archives released these schedules in response to a Freedom of Information Act request. The Archives processes those requests on a first come, first served basis, and is required by law to review every line of every page.
As the Archives itself has said: “‘We’re releasing them tomorrow because they’re ready tomorrow . . . It was as soon as we could get them out.’” [Washington Post, 3/18/08].
Myth: Hillary and Bill Clinton have delayed the release of her White House records by preventing their release from the Clinton Library.
Fact: Hillary and Bill Clinton do not decide when records can be released from the Clinton Library—the Archives does and has said so publicly on the record.
By law, before releasing any documents, the Archives must conduct a page-by-page, line-by-line review of every record to ensure that confidential, security, and personal privacy information is not improperly released.
The Archives has repeatedly stated that that this painstaking process is cumbersome and responsible for the bulk of the time it takes to review and release material. In this case, the Archives took approximately 6 months to complete its review of more than 11,000 pages. For his part, President Clinton’s representative completed his review in less than 30 days — weeks ahead of the time allotted for his review.
Myth: Hillary and Bill Clinton are responsible for the redactions in the White House schedules.
Fact: The Archives made the redactions. According to the Archives, the majority of the redactions in the schedules pertain to the privacy interests of third parties, including their social security numbers, telephone numbers, and home addresses. This information is withheld under federal law.
In fact, President Clinton asked the Archives, to the extent it could under applicable law, to release extensive material in those records that otherwise would have been excluded.
Myth: Bill Clinton instructed the Archives to redact large portions of these documents in a 2002 letter.
Fact: President Clinton’s 2002 letter has been misunderstood. In 2002, President Clinton issued an “easing” letter to the Archives that waived his right to restrict access to most of the confidential advice he received during his administration. The Archives has said this guidance is the least restrictive of any President covered by the Presidential Records Act.
Myth: The schedules undercut Hillary’s claims to involvement in the policy efforts of the Clinton Administration, or to have gained valuable experience from it.
Fact: They do no such thing. The schedules can not and do not speak to the substance of her meetings with staff, advisers, Administration officials, citizens, activists, foreign leaders, and others with whom she worked on policy issues. That should be no surprise – it’s not what they were created to do.
What the schedules do show is an incredibly active and involved First Lady, and add detail to the already voluminous public record about her work.
Those who claim the schedules undercut her efforts on such issues as the Family and Medical Leave Act, or her work for peace in Northern Ireland, or her efforts to support America’s foreign policy around the world are flying in the face of the public statements of the principal individuals involved in each, and decades of reporting on these issues.
Myth: The schedules show that, while Hillary may have been engaged in the substantive policy work of the Clinton Administration in 1993 and 1994 during her work on Health Care, she retreated to a ceremonial First Lady role for the rest of her time in the White House.
Fact: The schedules show no such thing. They demonstrate that Hillary remained an active participant and contributor to the work of the Clinton Administration in addition to fulfilling her ceremonial duties as First Lady .
The schedules are just that: schedules. They can not and do not speak to the substance of her meetings with staff, advisers, Administration officials, citizens, activists, foreign leaders, and others with whom she worked on policy issues. That should be no surprise – it’s not what they were created to do.
Myth: Contrary to her stated opposition to NAFTA, Hillary Clinton attended NAFTA meetings to work for its passage.
Fact: It is no secret that passing NAFTA was a priority of the Clinton Administration, but numerous contemporary accounts make clear that Hillary Clinton was personally opposed to NAFTA, and her position on NAFTA was and remains consistent.
For example, one of the NAFTA meetings she attended was run by David Gergen who has clearly stated that Hillary Clinton was opposed to NAFTA. According to Gergen, Hillary “was extremely unenthusiastic about NAFTA. And I think that’s putting it mildly.” He said: “If I could just add one other post script, Anderson, on NAFTA, I was actually there in the Clinton White House during the NAFTA fight and I must tell you Hillary Clinton was extremely unenthusiastic about NAFTA. And I think that’s putting it mildly. I’m not sure she objected to all the provisions of it but she just didn’t see why her husband and that White House had to go and do that fight. She was very unhappy about it and wanted to move on to health care. So I do think there’s some justification for her camp saying, you know, she’s never been a great backer for NAFTA.” [David Gergen, Anderson Cooper 360, 2/25/08]

In an interview slated to air on CNN tonight, Sen. Obama says Hillary is more electable:
In some ways this, this controversy has actually shaken me up a little bit and gotten me back into remembering that the odds of me getting elected have always been lower than some of the other conventional candidates.
Throughout the interview, he refers to Hillary as a conventional candidate.
New polls from key swing states like Ohio and Missouri show that Hillary outperforms Sen. Obama against Sen. McCain.

You poor sad people. Still sticking up for the crazy warmongers after 4,000 young Americans have died, along with hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. And for what?
There were no WMDs. There was no al Qaeda. There was no plan. It was just war for the sake of it, based on the ridiculous theories of the neocons ‘Let’s Conquer the World while America has no Rivals’. The same chickenhawk neocons who love being all macho and military now but wheeled and dealed their way out of putting themselves in danger when they were young. Don’t need to elaborate on that one.
The results of their folly so far? Trillions of dollars down the drain, untold riches for Halliburton and the rest, Bin Laden still alive and laughing, munitions by the truckload left for the bad guys to use against you in IEDs etc, Iraq broken beyond repair - the only likely long term outcomes are splitting it up Balkan-fashion or giving it to the ayotollahs, unless you really do fancy a 100 year occupation.
As far as the lame argument ‘fighting them over there so we don’t have to fight them here’… are you really that gullible? You are fighting different people, for God’s sake. Your country’s idiocy in Iraq will haunt you for decades to come.
What a waste of 4,000 lives.
More Americans died in Iraq than on 9/11.
And for what?
History will show, for nothing.
History will show Bush for what he is, a failure.
God help America.

EJ, before you show your ignorance again, either back up your statement with facts (or something you perceive as facts) or keep your mouth shut and stay off this blog. Quite obviously, you’re spouting some rhetoric that you’ve heard and which you know absolutely nothing about.
I’ll bet you’re wearing pink underwear.
fOX NEWS, you are terrible. How come alllllllllllll the coverage about Pastor Wright and not about John McCains Pastors who, I think the people who say, “If Obama gets the dem nominee, I’ll vote for McCain” should know!
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHATS REALLY NOT BEING COVER (HIDDEN) BY THESE SO-CALLED OBAMA BIASED NETWORKS…….OPEN YOU MIND AND COMMENT ON THIS

I went to Nam in 1966. I did two tours until I lost my legs. I would go to the middle east in a min if I could. The men and women that enlist in our arm forces no just their getting into. I did and just like those today we knew that we could be killed, but we went anyway. We believe in this country so much that it did`nt matter, all we knew is that we had a job to do. I have three sons in the marines in Iraq and one son in basic training, he might be leaving for the middle east soon. They all no that Im proud of them and I no that they are proud of their country. My family has been fighting in wars for this country sence the 1770`s just like many other family`s have done. I ask my sons why they were enlisting and they said dad our country needs us. So to hell with all the people who complain about this war and our country. I think that the good people who really out number the whiners will always stand up for America anytime and anywhere. God Bless or Troops and God Bless America.
Good stuff Gary - my country right or wrong. In this case wrong, wrong, wrong. Hope your kids don’t have to pay the price for Cheney and co’s lies. At least Clinton was upfront about dodging the draft, unlike the chickenhawks - mad keen on war unless they have to personally put their lives on the line.

Let’s see you state at least Clinton was upfront ..I guess you are bragging on his truthfulness-well Hillary is far from truthful she is very decietful actually…she runs aroung hollering how bad the war is and how the Bush administration RUSHED us into war well her words below shows she was right along with them on wanting to go to war, she gave a speach on the Senate floor ..here are a few of her thoughts..her worrds on the war
“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001.
It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.”
Hillary herself thought there were weapons of mass destruction…everyone thought there were. She is now dishonest by trashing Bush Cheney or whomever by making them out to be less moral for going into Iraq …she knows this and she still pushs the fact, just because she thinks it is the popular thing to say, she is the one who dishonest…not Cheney not Bush.
We are in this war becasue we wanted to give the Iraq people a chance at democracy and because we did not want Sudam aiding al-Quada and WMD …the extremest have brought the fight to Iraq to us now-we need to stand united for our men and women over there..they are fighting for our honor for our dignity …I believe we will win over there and I prey for our men and woman often. I am proud of each and every one of them …they are fighting against evil …any one who would cut off a mans head and send out a video for his family to see is evil.
Gary
Thank you for serving our country and please thank your sons for serving .. I admire you all.
PAMELA….Thank-YOU very much

March 24th, 2008 at 11:06 pm ….Your eagerness in politicising Gary’s and his sons’ bravery and patriotism is repulsive.
If Iraq can be stabilised and cooperative they’ll become an invaluable ally in the conflict to curb Islamic extremism. Yes 4000 deaths and many many more maimed is a terrible price to pay, it sickens me. But don’t demean their sacrifice by offering politics and rhetoric . Their sacrifce has the potential to change the political landscape in a part of the world where we need allies to counter radicalism, dictatorships and theocracies.
One year ago, no one would have believed Sunni shieks would side with the Americans (and remain sided even after al Qaeda hits on them and their families). That some hardline Islamists would begin questioning their methods and al Qaeda would have to be running counter measures against even them. That Bin Laden’s approval ratings would drop in countries like Pakistan. The Islamic world is slowly realising who the real bad guy has always been…and it’s not the U.S.
To all concerned “Ever Proud American” democrats,
This is the most DANGEROUS TIMES in the history of our country! Knowing that the most charismatic candidate WHO MIGHT WIN this election has ties with the ENEMIES OF OUR COUNTRY.
-OUR COUNTRY HAVE WITNESSED HOW OBAMA SHOWED AMERICANS HOW HE WILL REACT AND MAKE JUDGEMENT TO PROVEN ACCUSATIONS TO HIS FRIENDS WHO IS CLOSE TO HIM…
-HIS WILLINGNESS TO STAND, EVEN PRAISED AND DEFENDED A “DEMAGOG” FRIEND WHOM HE ADMITTED DISTORTED THE AMERICAN HISTORY AND PREACHING RACISM, SEGREGATIONS TO HIS CONGREGATIONS AND HARBORING HATES TOWARDS WHITE PEOPLE, ETC…..
-AND DOING THIS IN FRONT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THROUGH NATIONAL TELEVISION IS SO ALARMING AND SCARING TO ALL…
These are SOME NOTED SUPPORTERS OF BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:
1. - RACIST PEOPLE - Blacks who harbor a disease of hate and racism who waits for the right
time to do HARM and VENGEANCE TO WHITE PEOPLE… (Ex. Rev, Wright, Sharpton, Jackson)
2. - THE BLACK PHANTERS…(Revolutionary group who hates white people)
3. - THE USA COMMUNIST PARTY OF SEVERAL STATES…
4. - FARRACKHAN - (ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS GROUP WHO WANTS TO DESTROY AMERICA)
5. - MR. ODINGA - (Kenyan, Obama’s Pal uses “Rape as a Weapon”
6. - ARAB NATIONS…(Who don’t like Hillary for her open support to Israel)
7. - PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTS RADICAL MOVEMENT, ETC.
and the lists go on and on…. they will all surfacing after Obama’s oath taking… watch out!!!
-For your updates: Obama is now throwing all his money and outspending Hillary Clinton in the rest of DNC primaries. This is not surprising at all knowing that Obama parasites (Supporters) are now contributing to Obama Campaign in order to promote and advance their propaganda…
- OBAMA IS SO HUNGRY FOR POWER THAT HE IS VERY WILLING TO SPEND MONEY TO BUY THE PRESIDENCY WHICH HE IS NOW DOING TO THE DNC SUPERDELEGATES THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN STOP HIM FROM HIS VAIN AMBITION TO RUIN AND DESTROY OUR NATION FOR HIS OWN GLORY AND THE GLORY OF OUR COUNTRY’S ENEMIES AROUND THE WORLD.
-DEMOCRATS MUST RALLY SUPPORT AND MUST VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON…
-SHE MUST WIN THE REMAINING PRIMARIES BY A “LANDSLIDE VICTORY” TO ERASE OBAMA CAMP ARGUMENT AS TO WHO REALLY WON THE MAJORITY BOTH IN DELEGATES AND POPULAR VOTES…
-THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO DEFEAT THESE OBA-MANIACS…..
- WE ARE CALLING ALL CONCERNED CITIZENS OF AMERICA TO DO SOMETHING TO STOP OBAMA IN WINNING THE WHITEHOUSE TO AVOID A SURE DEFEAT!!! BY EXTREMIST WHO HATES AMERICA…
- AMERICA WAKE UP!!!
- LET US FIGHT THIS ANTI-AMERICA WHO WILL DRAG OUR COUNTRY TO SHAME AND DESTRUCTIONS…
- SENATOR CLINTON NOW KNEW THE REAL OBAMA AND WILL NOT PICK HIM AS HER VP ACCORDING TO INSIDER…
- AND INSTEAD WILL ASK SENATOR EDWARDS A REAL “EVER PROUD AMERICAN” TO BE HER RUNNING MATE…
- SENATOR EDWARDS WILL THROW HIS SUPPORT TO SENATOR HILLARY AFTER PA PRIMARY TO HELP HER WIN SC… THIS IS A START AND A SIGN OF THE DOWNFALL AND BACKLASH OF OBAMA SUPPORTERS…
- OBAMA IS NOW FEELING THE HINT OF THIS EVENTUALITY THAT IS WHY THEY ARE NOW THROWING ALL THEIR MONEY TO START MUD SLINGING AGAINST SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON USING BIG NEWSMEDIA NETWORKS TO FOOL AMERICAN ELECTORATES… (FOR A BIG AMOUNT OF MONEY)… AND NOW OFFERING HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO CONTROL AND BUY SOME POWERFUL BIG NAMES OF UNDECIDED SUPERDELEGATES. (The lowest offering is $500T according to obama camp insider…
- AMERICA LET US STAND TOGETHER TO FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR BELOVED
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA…
Sincerely yours,
Concerned Obama Camp Insider
What??
“Your eagerness in politicising Gary’s and his sons’ bravery and patriotism is repulsive.”
It was Gary that made the gormless remarks about fighting for his country - it doesn’t seem to matter to him or you that America is paying in brave young blood and trillions of dollars for a complete crock. I just tried to remind him and the rest of you that there is reality out there that has nothing to do with the lies and crimes of your leaders. Never mind - you keep on following the company line.
where to begin ?? 1) do we think that we should have gone to war in iraq (well, armchair qbs), i guess your answer is no !!!! does this mean we should pull the troops out just because the looney lefties need to be appeased? the answer is no !! irregardless of whether you agree if the war was a good idea or not has absolutely nothing to do with rapid withdrawal and most of all SETTING RETARDED TIMETABLES !! that goes to show how blind the democrats are!! lets just tell all the radical extremist when we are leaving ! THATS A BRILLIANT IDEA !! progress is occurring, albeit taking a bit longer that i have hoped, but to read some of these unbelievably ignorant comments on the state of the middle east and exactly what it would mean for us to hastily pull out is just dumbfounding !! 90% of that country (the law abiding sector), desparately would like us to help them restore peace there and which in turn would allow us to have another major ally, one of which we hadnt had during hussein regime!!! if we pull those troops out now, does anyone really think that radical extremist would then say “oh, those americans, they are nice people”..therefore if we leave while there is still a significant amount of extremist insurgence(an amount that the iraqi army couldnt handle on their own), we would have lost 4000 american soldiers lives for naught….losing 1 life is to many, but it is war and 95% of this country approved of the war at the time of attack.. its easy to second guess, but i dont..i have lost a cousin in afghanistan and 1 in iraq, but, if anyone has any sense, they would realize that you just cant pick a date for the hell of it, to start withdrawing !! AND FOR CHRIST SAKE, AS THE DEMS WANT TO DO>>tell bin laden when we are leaving>>thats f-ing BRAINDEAD >>
No way am I suggesting you just pack up and leave the poor devils to sort the mess you have made of their country. As Colin Powell said “You break it, you own it.”
I want you to keep your troops in Iraq but hand total control over to the UN, pay to rebuild the country, apologise to the world and put those responsible for all the lies and betrayal of your trust on trial.
Is that too much to ask?
one more comment!!!! how many of you believe that their were NO weapons of mass destruction !!! and if you believe this , WHY !!! there is no proof that there was WMD, but there is no proof that there wasnt…that dumbass committee basically told hussein way ahead of time that inspectors were coming into the country to search for WMDS… duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, lets tell them when we are going to attack !!! they had 100 years and a day to get rid of those things>>>>AND unfortunately for the very gullable people of the united states, we only have left wing media outlets, whos only agenda is to put a bleeding heart liberal in the white house: even if it means sacrificing a bit of self respect in the process!!!
o my,mcbeebop, you have had to much kool-aid !! the u.n. is nutless and probalbly as corrupt as tony rezco !! and, if you include the countries that matter, you will not find very many that are not solid allies of the us !!!!!! lets see, FRANCE, GREAT BRITAIN GERMANY, TURKEY, JORDAN, SAUDI ARABIA,INDONESIA,JAPAN, ISRAEL, ITALY, CANADA AND MEXICO(UNTIL HILLARY AND BARRY TRY TO SCREW UP NAFTA), THE CONTINENT COUNTRY OF AUSTRALIA, PAKISTAN, THE NETHERLANDS, POLAND AND JUST ABOUT THE ENTIRE AFRICAN CONTINENT…SO, WHO SHOULD WE APOLOGIZE, NOW, UMMMMMMM , OH, I KNOW>>>CUBA, NORTH KOREA, CHINA, IRAQ, RUSSIA, LIBYA, VENEZUELA !!!!! GIVE ME FREAKIN BREAK>>>>
