McCain camp disputes Wright-Parsley comparison
Washington, D.C. — John McCain’s campaign is pushing back on recent allegations that controversial Ohio pastor, Rev. Rod Parsley, serves as a “spiritual guide” for the GOP presidential nominee.
As Barack Obama continues to take heat for anti-American and racially divisive comments made by his longtime pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, some voices on the left are arguing that McCain should be receiving similar scrutiny for provocative remarks made by Parsley.
The Ohio-based religious leader has made a number controversial statements about Muslims, previously calling Islam an “anti-Christ religion” based on “deception.” In a recent book, he also wrote that the prophet Mohammad “received revelations from demons and not from the true God,” adding that “Allah was a demon spirit.”
According to the campaign, McCain met Parsley for the first time three weeks ago, when the pastor served as an introductory speaker at a February 26 rally in Cincinnati.
McCain praised most of the leaders in attendance, saying of Parsley: “I am very honored today to have one of the truly great leaders in America, a moral compass, a spiritual guide…thank you for your leadership and your guidance. I am very grateful you are here.” (Coincidence note: This was the same event of the infamous Bill Cunningham remarks)
A number of blogs and magazines (inc. here, here, and here) are citing the “spiritual guide” line to make the case that Parsley is an important influence for the Arizona Senator. International publications are also picking up on the endorsement–a headline in the Tehran Times this morning screams, “McCain advisor: Destroy Islam.”
A campaign official disputes that argument, adding that any comparison between the Wright and Parsley situations is “totally absurd.” The official notes that Rev. Wright married Obama, baptized his children and has served as his spiritual adviser for 20 years, whereas McCain received Parsley’s endorsement at one event and has never attended his service.
Regarding Parsley’s comments on Islam, campaign officials point to McCain’s denunciation of similar comments made by Rev. John Hagee–noting that the presumptive GOP nominee was not endorsing Parsley by accepting the pastor’s endorsement and does not agree with all of his views. McCain has vowed repeatedly to run a “respectful campaign,” condemned any personal attacks on Obama and Clinton.
Additionally, Campaign Manager Rick Davis circulated a memo this week that called upon supporters to “follow John’s lead and run a respectful campaign focused on the issues.”

I hope that Rush and Hannity play excerpts from Parsley’s speeches like they are doing for Wrights. And hasn’t Bill and Hillary went to some black churches from time to time? Why doesn’t someone get copies of those tapes and play them too? What is fair for one is fair for all as far as I can see. I think Obama did a great job of addressing this issue. No tantrums and screaming or tears like HIllary would have done. And no evidence of McCain’s temper if someone brings up something unpleasant. This may have been a home run for Obama. Nobody can say he is a Muslim again? In a recent poll 13% still thought he was a muslim. Would a Muslim go to a Christian church for 20 years? Gotta make a choice. It can’t be both.
I dare anyone to go watch the You Tube Videos on Hillary ….google the words -you tube anit-american Hillary- talk about interesting videos ..go there if you are outraged on the preachrs videos or if you are for Obama…they are the most interesting videos I have watche in some time. If nothing else it willl give you something to talk about. Shocked me and I thought I knew all the dirty liitle secrets on the Clintons…boy was I wrong.. did’nt have a clue how deep there filth runs.
There is no comparison here. Wright is Obama’s spiritual AND political advisor. Wright has been Obama’s OWN moral compass for 20 TWENTY YEARS. Wright attacks people based on their race and where the live.
The difference… McCain met this pastor 3 WEEKS AGO. McCain does not attend this pastors congregation and he is not McCain’s political advisor. Parsley is not attacked people based on race or geographic location, he claims that Islam is anti-Christ… isn’t that TRUE or are Muslims now following Jesus.
This is no worse that the attacks Huckabee and he followers made on Mitt Romney.
WRIGHT is an ANTI-CHRIST. There are many and Obama is of the flock of an anti-Christ.
Comment to Ktlin
I am not an Obama supporter and intend to vote though reluctantly for Mccain but I agree with you whats good for one should be good for all the candidates. Obama’s mistake was that he should have been to distance himself much earlier than he did. The people who refer to Obama as a muslim are either dumb or illinformed or maybe both. I am sure that the media could find tapes of the Clintons sitting in on sermons that were as bad as pastor Wright’s. It is amazing how you don’t hear a peep out of the Clinton camp regarding the Wright sermons. They have been after the media for sometime to start going after Obama and they are getting their wish. Rush and everyone else on talk radio are playing this for all it is worth to keep the democratic nomination process going till the convention. Thats their goal and the democrats are headed to that point. If Obama gets the nomination he will have gotten it on the grounds of what he calls hope and a vision of a different America. It is a great message thats why this pastor story has to get behind him sooner rather than later. thanks Ralph

ever head of “sleeper cells”. These sleepers have even KILLED their OWN family when given directions to do so. Just because someone goes to a church does not make them a believer. If this pastor is such a “Christian” why does he take the Lord’s name in vain?
Is it ok to get on this blog or are they stealing your name here too ?
Portions of, On The Record: Restricted Constraint – a.k.a Freedom Of Speech by Quinisha S. Anderson
Over the last few days every major news network has had it’s eye on one Chicago Pastor. Ex-Marine Jeremiah Wright turns out to be Senator Barack Obama’s pastor of 20 years at Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ. Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s “hateful remarks” are charged with “starting this firestorm”. Various sermons are being played on every major news circuit, YouTube, and radio syndicates with boasting “inflammatory” language in the vein of, “Yes 9-11-01 happened to us, and so did slavery happen to us! Yes the world trade center happened to us, and so did white supremacy happen to us!” I ask you if your Freedom of Speech is limited to your platform and or your associations, be it by way of a blog or a pulpit, have Americans ever really had Freedom of Speech, in the good ol’ country?!
…..
As Americans we are too often inundated with a onslaught of words, images, and feelings; conversely we are equipped with discretion and the aptitude to “eat the meat and spit out the bones”.
Thus to ask Sen. Barack Obama would he walk away from Trinity United Church of Christ based on various comments and associations, would be akin to asking Sen. Hillary Clinton why she didn’t walk away from Pres. Bill Clinton after he “did not have sexual relations with that woman”, furthermore demanding Sen. Barack Obama to denounce ex-marine Rev. Jeremiah Wright for his position, is analogous to America asking Miss Spitzer to denounce her husband, now ex-New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer based entirely on his most recent headlines. Think about it.
Ok Obama… I am an IDIOT. I believe you had no idea that Wright was saying things like this.
Come on… OBAMA your political consultants make a fortune knowing all about these things. I’ve been involved in several political campaigns. You’ll NEVER get my vote you LIAR!!!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Parsley said.
Islam IS a deception and it IS an anti-Christ religion.
The answer is Jesus Christ, not “religion”.
JESUS is the way. THe problem with liberals is they don’t want anyone to tell them black and white Truth from the Bible. They don’t believe in absolute Truth, they believe in moral relativism, every man for himself.
The Bible is the Absolute Truth. Muslims declare Jesus as just as “prophet” and not the Son of God, God in the flesh, who He truly is.
Jesus warned that many false prophets and teachers would come and deceive many. Muhammed, the self-proclaimed “prophet” of Islam, was just one of many false prophets that have come throughout history. He is no different than the false prophet Joseph Smith of Mormonism.
Again, the Lord Jesus Christ warned about false teachers like this, and the Lord JEsus Christ is right. He is the Truth, He is the authority, not “religion”.
And if Liberals don’t like to hear this, OH WELL, sorry about your luck.
I wish the National News Media would not try to make news over reporting it.

Obama’s campaign is now history. We cannot accept his attempt now to distance himself from his Pator. Not when Obama has attended Wright’s church and listened to this radical, reminiscent of Malcom X and the Black Panthers, speak for so many years. He needs to withdrawal from his campaign and he should resign from his office as US Senator. Obama wants us to believe he did not know of the pastor’s offensive statements and beliefs? Sure, how could he not know? He has a hidden agenda. Doesn’t he engage the congregation of his own church? If he did, there was sure to be a discussion of Wright’s comments. Obama is a very good speaker and very smooth. He reminds me of Bill Clinton and that is very disturbing. Both Obama and Bill Clinton can look you in the eye and lie with no problem– a characteristic more suitable to poker than the President of our country. We cannot tolerate a president that has associated himself with this kind of racism and hatred for so long–20 years!!. So now all this leaves Hillary as the Democrat’s only hope. I cannot imagine another 4 years of the Clintons in the White House. That is not change. That is going back to the same policies that led this country to the security mess we are in today. National healthcare, please, we alreay tried that in 1993 at a cost of millions of wasted time and resources. President Bush has had to spend 7 years of his presidency cleaning up the mess the Clinton’s left us in. 2 years ago when the proposed surge in Iraq was a polictical hot potato, McCain was very vocal about his support of it thereby risking his chances for a presidential campaign if the surge failed. Well, the surge is working and McCain voiced his opinion of what was right for America and the free world when everyone else at the time including Obama and Clinton took the easy road and called for immediate withdrawal from Iraq that no doubt would lead to kaos and probable US military involvement against Iran. Imagine what happen to oil prices and our economy should we pull out of Iraq. ? Do we really want to re-invade Iraq? So for me it’s McCain in 2008! He speaks the truth and does what’s right not out of polictical gain, but what makes sense for America.
The left seems to take theological views from various protestants, and then
equates them with the political views and hate speech of Reverend Wright.
Furthermore, they seem to equate the support of such pastors’ as a relationship
equal to Obamas’ relationship with his spiritual advisor. Furthermore, Obama
has supported and endorsed his Pastor through tithes and offerrings. The
2 are not comparable.
For one denomination or church to view another faith as anti -christian,
or another religion as a cult, is not hate speech it is only their view
of theology. As I recall the Pope has said that the Catholic church is
the only true Church, and he made some derogatory statements about
Islam. That is not hate speech,it is a theological view.I fear that the
hate speech police will infringe on our rights to verbalize our theological
views if we are not careful.
Leslie
I think it is totally stupid to compare one line of gracious introduction to 20 years of sermons. McCain was being complimentary to one of the guests at the guest table for his visit.
Obama has been marrying, baptizing, attending (or sleeping through) 20 years of Rev Wrights statements. Or maybe he is only a social christian who attends for the social aspect but not for the real message.
While we’re at it, why not have Oprah explain whether she supports Rev Wright or not, since she supposedly attends and/or is a memeber of this church.
There isn’t any place for this type of diatribe to exist. Maybe Rev. Wright can explain himself, or atleast apologize to those he has offended (like everyone else is asked to do).
And to the poster ktlin,
Just because something is “called” a Christian church doesn’t mean it is. Anybody can call themself a Christian. But to be a true Christian, you believe in the Bible and know that Jesus is the only way to heaven, not “Religion”, and you are not ashamed to proclaim that He indeed is.
Parsley never said people should say “God D%&* America!” either.
Although I’m not a fan of Parsley’s style, everything he says is the Truth from the Bible. It’s black and white in the Bible. So if liberals don’t like it, again, cry a river.
Jesus is the Authority, He is the Truth, not “religion”. Our founding fathers knew this, and they based our laws in our Constitution off of the absolute principles of the Bible.
The problem with liberals is they don’t like authority. They don’t want God to be in charge, they don’t think it”s “fair”. They usually lean towards secular humanism instead.
To believe that Mr. Obama attended a church for 20 years and never knew that these type of statements came from his own minister stretches credibility to the max. It also reflects badly on his campaign staff that should have vetted those important figures in his past and distanced him from them. We are to believe that Mr. Obama who had such a close relationship with his minister, attended this church for 20 years, and never knew that his church gave an award to Farakhan, and his minister traveled to Libya, and made tapes with so many terrible accusations, and Mr. Obama did not know anything about it. A person with such little awareness of what is going on around him would not make a very good President. I like him, and my kids in college liked him. But, this issue has caused us to rethink his values and what his type of change would bring. Now we are taking a new look at both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. McCain.
Is WRIGHT the CHANGE that Obama wants to bring? People that HATE the US and blame the WHITE man for everything. Talk about racism.
Wright has freedom of speech! I have freedom to VOTE. Wright has had 20 years to brainwash Obama. I will exercise my freedom and will NOT VOTE for OBAMA.
What foul-mouth, anti American Wright has taught Hussein Obama for 20 years will be taken straight to the U S capital if this muslim is elected pres. America get the blinds off your eyes before it is too late for you.
The entire “controversy” about Obama’s pastor is nonsensical. If we take critics like Sean Hannity at their word, that the mere fact that Obama was a parishioner in this church means he’s unfit to be president, then the same holds true for every parishioner in that church … and John Hagee’s, Jerry Falwell’s and on down the line.
Whether or not one intends to vote for Barack, don’t discount him, or his character, based on the words of another man. Judge Obama on his life, his words and deeds.
Here we go! I knew that the dems would soon have to try to find a way to counter Obamas preacher
problems. I doubt that McCain has sat in Parsleys church for 20 years being indoctrinated with hate talk. If he has, then I am disappointed. If not, get over it and move along.
And if anyone actually believes in the lies of Obama that he “never heard” his pastor say such things in the 20 years he’s been attending his church/known him, they are completely out of their mind.
OBAMA is LYING folks! Get a grip. This dude is dangerous!
WHy didn’t Obama leave Wright’s church when Wright gave the anti-semite anti-Jew racist white hater Muslim Louis Farrakan a “lifetime achievement” award???
This world is black and white folks! Not gray!
God has laid out His Truth in the Bible. IF you read it, you’ll see that Obama is lying, that he is only telling people “What they want to hear” to gain votes for his pursuit of power.
THis man is DANGEROUS.
Wake up America!
WRIGHT = ANTI-CHRIST
OBAMA FOLLOWS WRIGHT
OBAMA = ANTI-CHRIST!!!
I agree that there is a HUGH difference from being closely connected from someone for 20 years that being expected to know the complete background of everyone supporting you. I am willing to bet that all candidates, regardless of office or party, have at sometime been endorsed by people they do not fully agree with. Also many times as candidates travel around the country they are at the mercy of those who are involved locally and are given a list of vip’s there to mention as they begin their remarks. It’s a feel good game that puffs up some local person. The same goes for photos taken at events. I am more interested in who is around a candidate on a regular basis. That says more about their character. You have to look at the whole picture and see if there is a pattern.
I too think it is absurd to make a comparison between Rev. Wright and Rev. Parsley! Rev. Wright has been Obama’s pastor and spiritual advisor for 20 years. He was even his campaign spiritual advisor until his remarks were out there. Rev. Parsley is not MCCain’s pastor. Even though he endorsed McCain it doesn’t mean that MCain is one of his followers. Obama and his supporters are looking to make this a comparison issue between McCain and him but intelligent voters are only going to be angered by this approach and it is not going to help him. Obama shouldn’t have waited until Rev. Wrights remarks came out to say he didn’t agree with them. He didn’t just learn about them. He can spin it all he wants it is not going to make it better!

OBAMA LIED!!! This is more than abut his association. He is LYING and he thinks we are dumb enough to believe him. ARE WE?
WHAT ELSE will OBAMA LIE about???????? Is he really Christian? Does he love America?
Parsley and McCain have only met once and he is not McCain’s spiritual advisor. For Obama’s supporters to spin this story and try to compare what Obams’s spiritual advisor Mr. Wright and Parsley is incomprehensibly wrong. There is no comparison. McCain does not go and listen to Parsley ’s sermons like Obama does every Sunday for 20 years. Even the title of Obama’s book “The Odesity of Hope” comes from one of Mr. Wright’s sermons. Mrs. Obama’s comment of being proud for the first time is because she has heard this kind of comments during sermons from Mr. Wright.
This comparison is nothing more than the media trying to divert attention from Obama.
Bravo to Rick!
You took the words right out of my mouth!
From a fellow true believer!
Also Obama’s pastor is vehemently against Israel. He has preached against Israel and blamed the USA’s support of Israel for the so-called “plight” of the “Palestinians”.
A true CHRISTIAN is NEVER against Israel.
Read the Bible liberals. ISrael is God’s chosen land for the Jews. Clear as day in the Bible.
The Bible tells us to support Israel and God will bless all lands that do.
Obama is a heresy and so is his pastor. Read the Bible folks!
Christians support Israel! They’re not against it!
You’re KILLING me! Rod Parsley is born again and unlike the Reverend Wright, Pastor Parsley is just quoting scripture. Islam is a demonis religion (you know them by their fruits). Homosexuality is a sin, same sex marriage is a sin, abortion is a sin. I have never heard Pastor Parsley ever discuss or preach hate towards another race. Cut me a break! You Libs are just trying to find something to take the heat of Osama Boma.
McCain and Bush are the real ANTI - CHRIST. Republicans are brain washed!
There’s no comparison here.
Rev Wright has been Obama’s mentor and pastor for 20 years!
McCain met this guy three weeks ago for the first time. This guy is not attacking America. He says Islam is the anti-christ. Is that not true, they do want to kill all christians!
It won’t be long before the Obama supporters come out and say the only reason this is happening is because Obama is “black”. It’s only a matter of time!
What amazes me is Hillary is taking the high road and not jumping all over this! I can only imagine that she and her campaign feel as long as the media is all over it there’s no need to pile on! This way she looks good for it!
For “Ron in Tampa” :
You MORON, Muslims have regarded JESUS since the begining and actually , Now that your DumbA$$ has asked this question, Jesus (PBUH) has more RESPECT in ISLAM than any other faith on this planet , Go read a book, you may learn something before opening your mouth and spreading HATE !
mstro1
good comeback… I am awestruck by your intellect!
When Wright is going to have a lot of explaining to do when he does meet god !
It is so hard for the non Christian, Non Bible believing liberials to understand that there are false religions in the world and Islam is the most wide spread of these, one that spreads hate among all of its believers. When a true Christian leader calls it what it is these liberials ring there hands and call them a bigot, it will all be made clear one day when it is too late.
OOPS I meant rev, sorry I cant type to good.
I understand that the comments by Rev. Hagee and Ron Parsley may not be politically correct, that does not take away the truth from them being Bibical. These men of God are just preaching from the Bible. Please don’t crucify the messenger.
I AGREE WITH Rev Wright . When ever someone mentions the racism that this country was built on the people who benifited from slavery and hatred all come out mad because it is the truth. If I did not have a family member who was hung because of his race, raped, lynched I guess I would have always been proud tto be an American. Give me a break.
Hmmm, All you muslim haters, just be aware that your dollar is being freely thrown around in Iraq to setup a muslum dominated gov. You know that, right? Thank McMain. So, to those who distain mulsims, you should really be supporting muslim religon and those countries, because they are now our friends. And you slim bag devil Rick and the rest, who drives there big car on muslim oil.. go adhead and cast the first stone..
Typical of Obama campaign and his fanatics…try to point the finger at someone else. There is no comparison at all. McCain hasn’t known these men for 20 years and calls them family.
Obama is likely toast after this, I feel badly his supporters were bamboozled.
To those of you comparing this to the Catholic church priest thing (saying should all Catholics be responsible for that) First..you are sick puppies for even trying to make that comparison. Secondly, molestations were hidden from parishioners. Once they were discovered many left the church.
Notice the name of the author - Mosheh Oinounou -. Who are you? For you to compare the comment from Rod Parsely to that of Jeremiah Wright is completely out of line. Jeremiah Wright is Anti-American. Just ask Jewish people all over the world if we were wrong to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a statement that Jeremiah Wright said was on par with the 9-11 Attacks.
First of all, WE WERE BOMBED FIRST! Ever heard of Pearl Harbor?
Secondly, Japan was allied with Nazi Germany, who were exterminating the Jews.
Thirdly, have you ever been to Europe? The only reason they are free is because our troops stormed the beaches in Normandy, France and kicked the Germans butts.
Where there is smoke, there is fire. Obama was a member of Wright’s church for 20 years. WE AREN’T IDIOTS OBAMA. WE don’t buy it for one second that you have just begun to hear speeches like this from Wright.
Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Why aren’t they marching on Washington against this person running for President and his preacher???? Looks to me like the party of hate, racism, and lies all come from the Democratic Party.
kgulamhu
I did NOT say that ISLAM does not regard Jesus as a prophet. The question I asked was sarcastic at least last I checked Islam does NOT regard Jesus as Lord of this earth.
Where did you get hate stuff from? Chill out!
if mccains pastor had said anything close to wright the media would demand he step down, that anyone that every republican step down in the house and senate , and that he be forced to do community service and go to sensitivity classes. lets not make silly, stupid comparisons in obombas twenty year assopciation with this hate monger and mccain knowing someone a few weeks and never attending his church. the man that said whats goiod for the goose is good for the gander and claims to be a mccain supporter is of course lying. liberal democrats like in this type of forum claim to be republicans or independants as if it gives them more credence in atatcking a republican.
Can we stop attacking each other? Show that we can debate without letting blood.
My opinion: Move forward and leave Obama behind. He was doing good and he had a fair chance but he has proven himself unqualified for this very important job. We need to focus on the work of electing our next President.
Just as important, the remarks by Parsley are not patently un-American. What a fishing expedition!
The two comments are not similar, although the two could be viewed as hate speech. But then again, depending upon your belief, the Bible itself could be viewed as one big hate speech. The speech that Rev. Wright gave was one ful of hatred and accusations toward his country. This is bothersome when this point of view is a big influence in the life of a would-be future President of that very country that he is tearing down.
The comments of Rev. Parsley may be considered hate speech by some but his speech is an appropriate speech/sermon for a church of the Christian faith.
mstro1
I am not black and my people were slaves too! My ancestors were killed as well. Let’s just hate everyone that looks at different and kill them all…. is that what you want? Hey and if you grandfather every did anything wrong… I think we should punish you and your children as well.
McCain is not a member of Parsley’s congregation. Obama has been a member of Wright’s congregation for 20 years and calls him his mentor. I attend a multi-ethnic, mult-racial church, because I believe that is what a Christian church should look like. My pastor is of a different race than mine. We have congregants who are native and foreign born. Wright’s language is hateful and his history is twisted. Yes, we dropped two nuclear bombs on Japan. We also rebuilt the country to its present economic rivalry with the US. The same is true with our treatment of (then) West Germany after WWII. They would not have done the same for us.
dan jacobi
YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!
Politicians of all convictions are religious only because it gains them polictical favor with certain groups of people. Sen. Obama is no exception. If he were truly a religious God fearing politician, he would have left this church years ago.
You republicans (GIVE ME A BREAK) The problem with most republicans they do not know how to think for themselves. You listen to the brainwashing talkshows like Rush Limbaugh (who talks for a living) Alsways talking about Dem’s want larger government when Bush is spending 12billion mo on this stupid war which some of that money goes directly to the terrorests.

Oh no! A Priest Molester Protector. Belle, you are the sick puppy and one who also lies. Many parishioners know about the child molesters and stayed quite. Get real, priests molested children and many continue to stay with that religion. Just like Obama and thousand other followers stayed with theirs. I must say, at least Wright has not molested any children, or become a fagot like that evangelical leader.
What makes me very curious is why McCain is getting so many nasty religious people on his side? Parsley and Hagee? This is getting real suspicious.
Go adhead and cast the first stone…
Pastor Rod Parsley is telling the truth about Islam. The Bible says that there is only
ONE true God who manifests in three forms,YHWH(we pronounce it Jehovah),Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible also says all other so called gods are demons who have deceived people since the beginning of time.Don’t be fooled, satan and demons are deceiving people by the billions so they will end up in hell.God says there is only one way to get to Heaven,(it’s found in the Bible in Romans 10: 9-10)and that is by sincerely confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and that He’s seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. This is called being Born Again(spiritually).Jesus said we MUST be Born Again to enter Heaven(John, chapter 3),and everyone who refuses Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is going to hell forever. In this politically correct world it isn’t legal to tell the truth anymore because they insist that only politically correct speech be spoken and therefore drag not only themselves but everyone else that believes as they do down to hell with them. They call the truth hate speech when it’s the exact opposite. This is the deception of satan whether people believe it or not.
Parsley isn’t McCain’s pastor. He hasn’t been sitting in his church for 20 years. But, Parsley is absolutely correct about Islam. It is evil from inception and its’ creation by Mohammad. Just look at what it produces…fear…death…destruction. Pastor Wright is a Muslim in disguise. He is a racist, anti-American, far-left, socialist libral who preaches hate, and racial separation. He talks about Christianity, but doesn’t follow any of the teachings of Christ. Simply by example Wright is a Muslim. Is it any wonder we should be very concerned about Obama?
To all,
Barack nor Obama will win the general unless they both run together. Barack needs Hillary supporters who are typically white women over 60 years of age, and Hillary need barack supporters which has been yooung people of all ages and the African Americans. If they dont run together we will have 4 more years of Anti - Christ led policies.
It’s time that we show McCain’s pastors as well Magee and Parsley and throw in Hillary’s pastors as well. That way it would expose everyone for what it is worth, and not just reporting on Obama. I can’t believe the press has nothing on Obama that they have to go after people that’s around him.
Fox needs to find something better to report………..!
The people have spoken, Obama has more states, and more delegates, more of the popular votes won. That there speck for it’s self. Can you argue that…………….?

First of all, anyone running for President has to be known by the company he keeps. If anyone belongs to a church that preaches hatred of America and another race, they are not qualified to be President. It’s all about judgment. You choose to go to a church. You choose to associate with certain groups. You choose to have certain people as friends. This all reflects upon what kind of people you would surround yourself with if you did become President, whom you might select as Cabinet members and appoint as judges. It doesn’t matter what church or what organization, they all have a bearing upon a person’s life or at least speak to what he believes.
I had considered voting for Senator Obama, but the Wiiliam Ayers association and now his membership in this Pastor’s church made me change my mind. Do I think he bellieves most of this? I hope not. But to me it is simply a lack of maturity and judgment that I am not willing to overlook.
Does McCain even go to church? What does it matter, anyway? I’ve decided to vote Clinton in November. Aside from the Monica Lewinsky scandal–the Clinton years were pretty good. The economy was great and we had a budget surplus as opposed to the budget deficit we have now. By November, it will be “it’s the Economy, stupid!” I voted for Bush twice, I am a Registered Republican and I’ve had enough. Should another 911 hit us when the Dems are in Office-we can always blame the governmnet instead of blaming terrorists and those who are truly responsible because that is how Americans are nowadays–how soon we forget! We’ve blamed Bush for 911, it is time we have another so we can truly blame Clinton or whoever inherits the white house in November. We will never blame the Islamist Extremists and the liberal media for siding with them. Aaaahhhhhhhhh!
Why is everyone talking about race? This presidential year is not about race; it’s about idealogy. It’s a shame that Obama doesn’t stand for anything of substance. He’s a diehard liberal, who doesn’t have the guts to defend or protect America, unborn children, or our capitalistic system. Confronted by Islam, he’d probably either give in to their demands, or run and hide. What we really need is a black women running for president, who actually stands for conservative ideals. Why not Condolessa Rice?
JUDGE AND BE NOT JUDGED! HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE.
Everyone wants to judge Obama pastor, even those who say he is a muslim. (you cant have it both ways)
Whitey!
Why come women always want somebody to vote for them just because they are a woman?
I guess if you think strapping bombs to yourself and detonating them in places crowded with innocent people is a good thing, Parsley’s comments can be alarming.
