I am so proud to have voted for Gov. Mike Huckabee. I hope people who have srong moral convictions and really want a government for the people will do honest research about his true political record. http://www.MikeHucabee.com
Please consider giving your vote to the truly conservative candidate, Governor Huckabee. He has the Reagan spirit in his sails and is our party’s Great Communicator. He is intelligent, grounded, and in touch with the average American and their concerns and needs. What an eloquent speaker and orator! He’s an experienced executive who has governed and bettered the lives of Arkansas residents.
Governor Huckabee has simply shined as the steadfast stalwart of his beliefs and vision to better our great country. The new surge of interest and support is now moving in his direction, because he has the integrity, character, and executive leadership to move America in the right direction!
Thank you for your consideration and God Bless you!
Wow, we really are lucky we didn’t get killed by the IRS like Mike says. What scares us it that Mike wants to finish the job himself with the fair tax.
I thought the GOP is backing McCain ? What party is Huckabee with ? Even though I’m holding my nose to vote for McCain this NOV , for the primary vote for ROMNEY .
Huckabee is the man we NEED in the White House. Im proud to be a supporter. McCain has too much baggage which is all catching up to him and I dont think he can pull off winning the general election. People need to wake up now before its too late. McCain says hes too busy to debate Huckabee which is our right as Americans to hear more about the issues for which they stand…will McCain be too busy to run our country too? Vote for Huckabee March 4th.
As a born again Christian it is really hard for me to support Huckabee who bore false witness towards Mitt Romney . I know that you feel the same way too . My preacher does talk about other faiths when I’m around . It is better to LIVE for something than DIE for nothing .
Is anyone else nervous about the statement by Laura Ingraham that Obama is considered the “world’s” candidate? Please vote Huckabee - he is a true conservative. We want a debate - I called McCain’s headquarters and respectfully asked. The gentleman thanked me for my comments. Come one, Senator McCain.
Razor, you know by now that Gomer Pyle wouldn’t openly attack anyone. His M.O. is use the back channels like he did in S.C. when his supporters were set up to “swift Boat” Senator McCain by describing him as a baby killer and as a man the ratted out his fellow POWs.
This is the real Mike Huckleby and I am just beginning to understand that is acceptable to his supporters. The ends justify the means. If they can get him elected by any means their agenda to”SAVE” the non-christians of our country will be Gomer’s job one.
His latest covert action is to bring into question one of our greatest heroe’s nationality.
Anyone can claim to be a rightous Christian but their actions tell the real truth.
*** M a n d i e *** Within each group or tribe we have code words that have a certain meaning that we understand . Huckabee talking about others that I believe are just as Christian if not more as he is ,mormons , should not have been his battle cry of us against them . I have seen anti-mormon film strips and stuff that I now speak out about the hate and ignorance . I am so ashamed of the stupid sheep that do not have Christ like love . If a preacher takes a salary and lives for free , no thank you . If we are not being taught to be shepards , no thank you .
I am not going to post my last post BUT just to show you that there is a post I have posted my last post .So you now Know that I am not posting it . I will not stoop so low as you .
*** frodo *** McCain is a slime ball , that I will vote for as I hold my nose . Yes he is an American hero also and no one can ever take that away from him .
This ad is just what I would expect from Huck. A direct appeal to the independent streak of the “LONE” star state.
Bad McCain, republ brass and the news media are all telling texas to stand down. Huck tells Texas to stand up. Yes Texas, stand up, don’t lie down and be conquered.
What will you do Texas? Will you also fall for the siren song of a Huckster?
It guys like Rush Limbaugh, James Dobson, Bill Cunningham and Mike Huckleby that use their supporter’s Religeon for their own personal gain that has this world in the turmoil it’s in. 30 years ago we knew the names of the few active atheists in the country. Now there are people leaving the church as never before. They don’t know what or who to believe in. In God we trust is being removed from our currency. The Christians blame the non-christians for it. The truth is, the Christian Fundamental Extremists have bought this on us by demanding that the Republican Party bow down to them. With Senator McCain that will change. He’s going to be elected by moderate Republicans, Independants and cross over Democrats that have had it with their own extremists. The Church will be better off and we’ll get back to preaching love instead of hate and we’ll all be a lot happier.
Rush Limbaugh is not the God you seek.
James Dobson is not the God you seek.
Bill Cunniham is not the god you seek.
Mike Huckleby is not the god you seek.
Ask yourself…Would a loving God choose one of these hat mongers to represent him?
*** Ann Romney’s *** blueberry pancakes are legend . If the GOP can win this NOV , I’m hopeing Mitt will be the VP …… Mitt likes his with homemade blackberry jam .
In order to deprogram cult members is imperative to get the subject to start thinking for himself. With that in mind, Huckabee supporters I have a few questions:
What qualities do you think make a good president and how does Mike Huckabee demonstrate those qualities?
Mike Huckabee claims to be a “Christian leader”. What qualities make him so? Identify specific examples of Mike Huckabee demonstrating Christian love for his enemies. Jesus reviled not against the revilers, and when struck, turned the other cheek. If you have observed that Mike Huckabee has certain behaviors that you don’t think are Christian but you justify them as being acceptable because those behaviors are the common practices of others, reconcile your position with Biblical accounts of the life and teachings of Christ and your position that Mike Huckabee is a Christian leader.
Mike Huckabee has stated that he will abolish the IRS and replace the current system with a “fair tax”. Given that there are checks and balances provided in the constitution and that many people, businesses, and elected officials have a vested interest in the current tax system, explain how Mike Huckabee would accomplish this campaign promise. What do you think the odds of his success would be? Do you think that making a promise given those odds of success is the act of an honest man?
Under a fair tax system, where there are no deductions, how much would you give to charity?

You guys are just judgemental towards Christians and I feel sorry for people like you who criticize people that are just “human” You should be ashamed of yourselves. Huckabee and Dobson have done more for the unborn than I’m sure all of you people put together!
Trying looking at the good things for once with Christians….when did we EVER say we were perfect?
Who said that Huckabee did anythind “hateful” or that he gave Christians a bad name? I want to vote for a good candidate for president. I asked Huckabee supporters to justify their support for their candidate.
Mazzy7777, do you think it was upright and honorable for Huck to receive those WV delegates from McCain? Did he really earn them? Maybe he should return them to their rightful owner.
*** M a z z y *** the 6:04 post and his knowingly stating false doctrine to the news media in the form of a question . A true man or person of God does not use mind tricks that are lies or half truths . His type just does not work for me . I am not a sheep that follows his his type .
A fatal flaw with the fairtax system is the assumption that people will continue to spend as they do today. Our economy is CONSUMER driven.
Under current tax system if I have $10 million and I still pay tax on my income. No choice. I don’t think about taxes when I spend my other money to enjoy life.
Under fairtax system I might just take my marbles and go home. No estate tax, no income tax. My heirs will be set for life. Sure I’m gonna live it up a little, but why spend excessively? I let all those schmucks that can only afford the necessaties pay the majority of the tax burden.
Shut up Vanila Ice. Mazzy7777, Jay and others are trying to think.
Why should anyone vote for Mike Huckabee?
What qualities do you think make a good president and how does Mike Huckabee demonstrate those qualities?
Mike Huckabee claims to be a “Christian leader”. What qualities make him so? Identify specific examples of Mike Huckabee demonstrating Christian love for his enemies. Under a fair tax system, where there are no deductions, how much would you give to charity?
Give me three examples of Mike Huckabee’s integrity and charactor that you think show that he is worthy of my vote for his presidency.
Explain what you mean by “conservative” and “Reagan spirit in his sails” and explain why I should vote for someone with those charactoristics.
Explain how he “bettered the lives of Arkansas residents” and how that indicates that he would be a good president.
Those concerned with securing the borders may not believe Huckabee on the issue because of some proposals he made while Governor of Arkansas, however, Governor Huckabee has made ironclad commitments by signing pledges by Numbers USA and Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to not have amnesty. I trust Duncan Hunter and Jim Gilchrist on the border, and they trust Huckabee. Meanwhile, John McCain has not pledged to oppose amnesty and he has convinced no major figure on border security that he is serious about protecting our nation’s borders.
Yes he is a good decent man! Need I remind you it was Romney calling with his recordings lieing to the American people saying this was a “two man race”
Huckabee WON the Southern states…tell me why do you think that is? If Romney is so conservitive why could his millions not win the conservtive states?
Romney is such a flip flopper and asked Huckabee to get out of the race because he new Huckabee would win on Super Tuesday. There was NO back room deal. Give me a break!
No hate. No charactor attacks. Original thoughts and words supported by specific examples showing Mike Huckabee has demonstrated the qualities that we should look for in a president.
Think!!! Don’t be cult members!!! You can do it!!!
Voting for LIFE this year. In past years, I voted for the candidate “most likely to succeed” or who appeared to be most able to win, who also came closest to my values.
That type of voting is rooted in fear.
It is not based on voting my convictions about who is best to lead.
This year I’m voting for the candidate who most closely models my values—BECAUSE THERE IS ONE, Mike Huckabee!!!
I believe Mike has nationwide appeal–BUT I’m not sure that appeal all lives in the same political party. I think Mike’s appeal crosses party lines. So maybe this election doesn’t look like previous elections.
Maybe it’s an election where the people’s votes decide who’s in—rather than the candidate who can buy my vote with the most convincing TV ads…or who the pollsters and media gurus favor to win!
It takes some courage and faith to vote your convictions in a close election…..
THIS YEAR, VOTE YOUR FAITH NOT YOUR FEAR!
This speech is a quick reference on what Mike’s about:
Excellent TV AD! I hope all you Texans get out and vote for Mr. Huckabee. I hope Mike still in the race for the Pennsylvania primary! Mike is clearly the man to lead our country!
Ice it looks to me like you have nothing better to do than follow Huckabee around where ever he goes. As I have stated before and not one of you want to adress the issue, why did Mitt not stay in the race, and please spare me the garbage of him doing it for the good of the party! There is no reason in my mind why he could not have stayed in. He is a calculating individual who calculated he could not win in the remaining states, abandoning those who voted for him. As far as R a Z o R is concerned I wish you would enlighten the rest of us born again christians on all those buzzwords. I am sorry but I doubt your truthfulness in anything you print. The funny thing about all of this is that I have not since this primary started went to tell anyone on a Romney, Mccain, Paul or any other candidates site, or article about them, how bad thier candidate is. But you do give me hope because I keep seeing the same people over and over again. I notice your not adding to your tiny little group! There is one more thing that I need to mention that is of great importance to many of us. That is the 2nd Amendment! I dont want any ban of any kind on firearms! Our founders didnt either. That means the brady bill also, but I guess the courts made him say that, and yes Ice I am thowing zingers, as I can see that is very popular tonight!
The Secure America Plan
A 9-Point Strategy for Immigration Enforcement and Border Security
Overview: Implement a broad-based strategy that commits the resources of the federal government to the enforcement of our immigration laws and results in the attrition of the illegal immigrant population.
1. Build the Fence
Ensure that an interlocking surveillance camera system is installed along the border by July 1, 2010.
Ensure that the border fence construction is completed by July 1, 2010.
2. Increase Border Patrol
Increase the number of border patrol agents.
Fully support all law enforcement personnel tasked with enforcing immigration law.
3. Prevent Amnesty
Policies that promote or tolerate amnesty will be rejected.
Propose to provide all illegal immigrants a 120-day window to register with the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services and leave the country. Those who register and return to their home country will face no penalty if they later apply to immigrate or visit; those who do not return home will be, when caught, barred from future reentry for a period of 10 years.
This is not a “touchback” provision. Those who leave this country and apply to return from their home country would go to the back of the line.
4. Enforce the Law on Employers
Employment is the chief draw for most illegal immigrants and denying them jobs is the centerpiece of an attrition strategy.
Impose steep fines and penalties on employers that violate the law.
Institute a universal, mandatory citizenship verification system as part of the normal hiring process.
Prevent the IRS and the Social Security Administration from accepting fraudulent Social Security numbers or numbers that don’t match the employees’ names.*
5. Establish an Economic Border
Move toward passage of the FairTax.
The FairTax provides an extra layer of security by creating an economic disincentive to immigrate to the U.S. illegally.
6. Empower Local Authorities
Promote better cooperation on enforcement by supporting legislative measures such as the CLEAR Act, which aims to systematize the relationship between local law and federal immigration officials.
Encourage immigration-law training for police. Local authorities must be provided the tools, training, and funding they need so local police can turn illegal immigrants over to the federal authorities.
7. Ensure Document Security
End exemptions for Mexicans and Canadians to the US-VISIT program, which tracks the arrival and departure of foreign visitors. Since these countries account for the vast majority of foreigners coming here (85 percent), such a policy clearly violates Congress’ intent in mandating this check-in/check-out system.
Reject Mexico’s “matricula consular” card, which functions as an illegal-immigrant identification card.
8. Discourage Dual Citizenship
Inform foreign governments when their former citizens become naturalized U.S. citizens.
Impose civil and/or criminal penalties on American citizens who illegitimately use their dual status (e.g., using a foreign passport, voting in elections in both a foreign country and the U.S.).
9. Modernize the Process of Legal Immigration
Eliminate the visa lottery system and the admission category for adult brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens.
Increase visas for highly-skilled and highly-educated applicants.
Expedite processing for those who serve honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Improve our immigration process so that those patiently and responsibly seeking to come here legally will not have to wait decades to share in the American dream. Governor Huckabee has always been grateful to live in a country that people are trying to break into, rather than break out of.
*This policy will be drafted to comply with the final federal court decisions on this issue.
Note: This plan is partially modeled on a proposal by Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of the Center for Immigration Studies. (”Re: Immigration: Ten Points for a Successful Presidential Candidate,” National Review, May 23, 2005.)
Securing our borders must be our top priority and has reached the level of a national emergency.
I support the $3 billion the Senate has voted for border security. This money will train and deploy 23,000 more agents, add four drone planes, build 700 miles of fence and 300 miles of vehicle barriers, and put up 105 radar and camera towers. This money will turn “catch and release” into “catch and detain” of those entering illegally, and crack down on those who overstay their visas.
In this age of terror, immigration is not only an economic issue, but also a national security issue. Those caught trying to enter illegally must be detained, processed, and deported. As Governor, I ordered my state troopers to work with the Department of Homeland Security to arrest illegals and enforce federal immigration law.
I oppose and will never allow amnesty. I opposed the amnesty President Bush and Senator McCain tried to ram through Congress this summer, and opposed the misnamed DREAM Act, which would have put us on the slippery slope to amnesty for all.
I oppose and will not tolerate sanctuaries for illegals. The federal government must crack down on rogue cities that willfully undermine our economy and national security.
I oppose giving driver’s licenses to illegals and supports legislation to prevent states from doing so. In 2005, I signed legislation that prevents illegals in Arkansas from getting driver’s licenses.
I will stop punishing cities which try to enforce our laws and protect the economic well-being, physical safety, and quality of life of their citizens.
I oppose and will not tolerate employers who hire illegals. They must be punished with fines and penalties so large that they will see it is not worth the risk.
I oppose the economic integration of North America that would create open borders among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I will never yield one iota or one inch of our sovereignty.
I will take our country back for those who belong here. No open borders, no amnesty, no sanctuary, no false Social Security numbers, no driver’s licenses for illegals.
I know that securing our borders must be our top priority and has reached the level of a national emergency. I am as sick and tired as you are that it is harder for us to get on an airplane in our home town than it is for all these illegals to cross our international border unchallenged.
We cannot stem the tide of illegals until we turn the tide. Before you fix the damage to your house caused by a leaking roof, you have to stop the leak, which I am determined to do.
I supported the $3 billion Congress passed this summer for border security. This desperately-needed money will train and deploy 23,000 more agents, add four drone planes, build 700 miles of fence and 300 miles of vehicle barriers, and put up 105 radar and camera towers. This money will turn “catch and release” into “catch and detain” of those entering illegally and crack down on those who overstay their visas.
But where is this $3 billion? The President threatened to veto the bill it was part of! Now the Senate has again voted for this money as part of the Defense Bill. I will continue to fight until we get these funds.
In this age of terror, immigration is not only an economic issue, but also a national security issue. We must know who is coming into our country, where they are going, and why they are here. All those who are caught trying to enter illegally must be detained, processed, and deported. As Governor, I ordered my state troopers to work with the Department of Homeland Security to arrest illegals and enforce federal immigration law.
I oppose and will never allow amnesty. I passionately rejected the amnesty bill that President Bush and Sen. McCain tried to ram through Congress this summer after secret meetings of an under-the-radar cabal of amnesty-loving senators.
I opposed the misnamed DREAM Act, which was a nightmare because it would have put us on the slippery slope to amnesty for all. Because once we open that door even a crack, we’ll never get it closed again.
I oppose and will not tolerate sanctuaries for illegals. The federal government must enforce our existing laws by cracking down on rogue cities and towns that willfully undermine our economy and our homeland security by giving benefits and protection to illegals. The consequences for illegal entry must be swift, certain, and uniform throughout our country.
I oppose giving driver’s licenses to illegals, such as Governor Spitzer tried to do in New York. I support legislation that would prevent the states from granting this privilege to illegals. In 2005, I signed legislation that prevents illegals in Arkansas from getting driver’s licenses.
I will stop punishing cities which are trying to enforce our laws. I will appoint judges who will uphold the law, not side with the ACLU against cities like Hazelton, Pennsylvania, which are trying to protect the economic well-being, physical safety, and quality of life of their citizens.
I will not tolerate employers who hire illegals - they must be punished by fines and penalties so large that they will understand it is not worth the risk. Once again, as with Hazelton, liberal judges are gumming up the works. Right now, a court in San Francisco — Pelosiland - has delayed enforcement of the “no match” letters for Social Security numbers that the Department of Homeland Security will use to crack down on those who hire illegals. If illegals cannot find work, they will go back where they belong. I will do everything I can to hasten their trip home by denying them employment.
I strongly oppose the economic integration of North America that would have open borders among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I know we must have closed and secure borders. I will never yield either one inch or one iota of our sovereignty. I will recognize no authority but our Constitution.
I will take our country back for those who belong here and those who are willing to play by the rules for the privilege to come here. No open borders, no amnesty, no sanctuary, no false Social Security numbers, no driver’s licenses for illegals.
I will Implement a broad-based strategy that commits the resources of the federal government to the enforcement of our immigration laws and results in the attrition of the illegal immigrant population
The Huckabee Plan:
Four Guiding Principles for
Strengthening America’s Infrastructure
If we’re going to spend $150 billion, I’d like to suggest that maybe we add two lanes of highway from Bangor all the way to Miami on I-95. A third of the United States population lives within 100 miles of that.
This nation’s infrastructure is falling apart. And if we built those lanes of highways — with American labor, American steel, American concrete - I believe it would do more to stimulate the economy.
And the reason I say that is because when we were going through a recession in my state, we were in the middle of a billion-dollar highway construction program that brought about 40,000 jobs and brought a billion dollars of capital into the economy.
That’s a long-term stimulus package that I think would have more impact on the American long-term future. And it would keep social capital from being wasted, fuel wasted. A lot of people in Florida sit around in traffic every day, never getting to their kids’ dance recitals or soccer games because they’re stuck in traffic, and we’ve done nothing about it.
–Governor Mike Huckabee
Florida Atlantic University Debate
January 24, 2008
My four guiding principles can be summed up simply: Stimulus, Safety, Security, and Sustainability.
When I took office as Governor of Arkansas in 1996, I faced a highway system which was among the worst in the country. The road conditions were harming our economy and had reached the point of becoming an actual safety risk. With overwhelming voter approval, we launched a highway bonds project that generated a billion dollars of highway construction, created some 40,000 new jobs, and created new movement for our economy. Our roads were then called the “most improved” according to Overdrive magazine. We need to do the same for this country.
Stimulus
- President Bush and Congress have come together to create a short-term economic stimulus package, which I commend and support as a valuable first step.
- However, we must also look to the next century, not just to the next few quarters.
- So we must also look at longer-term ways to grow local economies and our national economy by: first, easing congestion by emphasizing road expansion and mass-transit investment; second, funding strategic capital improvement projects to make more localities attractive to new businesses and workers; and third, rebuilding the infrastructure of our “tools for trade” such as improvements to and expansions of our seaports and airports.
- This past fall, Texas A&M released a report on the price of congestion in time and money-we now spend 4.2 billion hours each year in our cars, and spend an extra 38 hours per urban driver. That’s nearly the length of a workweek-time taken away from our families, missing kids’ soccer games, dance recitals, and school plays. According to the Texas A&M study, we waste 2.9 billion gallons of gasoline during this lost time; the total cost to our economy is $78 billion every year.
- In Florida, the Sunshine State is currently working on a project on I-75 in Collier and Lee counties to add an additional lane in each direction. The cost of that project is $430 million. Now not only will that construction mean the creation of over 20,000 jobs, it also means that Florida will be reducing congestion, reducing wasted productivity and gasoline, reducing wear on your vehicles, and speeding up the state economy.
- Infrastructure reform enhances productivity and eliminates waste, but it also generates new jobs and revenue. The U.S. Department of Transportation tells us that every $1 billion invested in federal highway and transit infrastructure results in the creation of some 47,500 jobs, and every $1 spent on infrastructure investment results in an estimated $5.70 in economy activity. Now that is a stimulus package.
- Florida’s economic engine rests on moving people and freight. It has the longest coastline in the continental U.S. and many vital ports. A strong highway system is integral to moving tourists through the state in a timely manner and taking freight across the country.
- There is an immediate need to expand the ports of Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville, which are enormous economic engines not only for Florida but for the entire country. Yet there are challenges ahead:
Annual operating security costs at the Port of Miami almost quadrupled from 2001 to 2006, from about $4 to $16 million.
The current expansion of the Panama Canal will allow for much larger tankers to come through Florida. To harness these benefits, we must enlarge the capacities of the Port of Miami, the Port of Tampa, and the Port of Jacksonville.
The Port of Jacksonville is currently working on becoming a deepwater port and expanding to double its cargo capacity. The Port will need road/rail improvement to transport goods across the state and country.
Miami has requested $13 million to complete dredging of the Miami River this year or next. This would complete an $86 million dredging project started in 2004 and run by the Army Corps of Engineers. Over the next 20 years, this should generate $100 million in business from ships, letting them use the river at both high and low tides. The river had not been dredged since the 1930’s.
The Miami Harbor has requested $2 million for engineering and design for dredging the harbor.
These are just some of the important projects that a Huckabee administration will seek to foster.
Safety
- Such infrastructure-based economic development is not just about giving our economy a shot in the arm-it is also about protecting and preserving what we have already developed. In decades past, our predecessors built canals, then railroads, and then the interstate highway system. And yet now we can’t even keep these vital projects adequately maintained - our bridges are sometimes reinforced with wood, our pavements are crumbling. These are not just economic challenges; they are safety hazards.
- Our interstate highway system covers 47,000 miles. Before it was built, motorists could only drive 250 miles a day dawn-to-dark, but after it was built, drivers could cover twice that distance. There’s enormous economic potential in dramatically improving transportation productivity.
- The American Society of Civil Engineers gave our infrastructure a “D” and said that we will need $1.6 trillion in the next five years, and that’s not even including our national security needs. We need this amount just to deal with our “congested highways, overflowing sewers, and corroded bridges”. Poor roads cost Americans $54 billion each year in repairs and operating costs - an average of $275 for each driver.
- All of our infrastructure is suffering from a lack of maintenance and expansion - we have seen this in the collapse of the Minneapolis bridge on August 1, 2007, the steam pipe explosion in New York City on July 18, 2007, and a year of frustration with air travel, with almost 30% of flights delayed. Antiquated infrastructure and overcrowded airports are inherently dangerous.
” In 2006, 73,764 American bridges were rated “structurally deficient” by the U.S. Department of Transportation. We need to take a hard look at our bridges and make sure they are safe and secure.
- Bridges and air travel are an issue throughout Florida:
Miami has requested federal funding to replace the Northwest 17th Ave. Bridge and 12 Venetian causeway bridges linking Miami and Miami Beach. This is the sort of infrastructure overhaul we need.
The Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport in Miami has requested funds to extend two runways.
Orlando International Airport, the busiest airport in Florida, will soon start a $400 million construction project to sustain its main terminal.
The highway interchange around Tampa International Airport is currently being expanded.
Around Pensacola and Tallahassee, Interstate 10 improvements now underway will significantly enhance transportation across the Panhandle.
- We must do a better job of setting priorities. Much of our federal funding is still apportioned to the states under mechanisms established 50 years ago when we created the interstates. As President, I will make sure that our prioritization system responds adequately to our most urgent needs.
- We need an Asset Management System. As President, I will instruct my Secretary of Transportation to develop a comprehensive database that assesses the existing condition of infrastructure and then provides options for the funding - including creative private-sector options - to maintain each asset in the condition it needs to be. This makes funding decisions data-driven, rather than political, so that we can remove the excuse for Congressional earmarks.
Security
- Moreover, allowing these weaknesses to continue provides openings for the terrorists to exploit. I will address the many security issues still unresolved after 9/11, such as the security of our ports and our chemical plants.
- For all our effort, we still have far to go in ensuring that our planes are secure and our passengers not overly inconvenienced. DHS’ Transportation Security Lab is researching new technologies to update and secure our air travel.
- For Miami, this includes a $20 million request for changes made in the terminal to install a baggage explosives detection system.
- In Orlando, the airport is already taking advantage of new technologies such as the “Clear” card, a voluntary ID system, which will be available in Orlando International Airport starting this June.
- If states choose even tougher standards to protect their people, I will respect their authority and not allow the federal government to pre-empt those standards. When New Jersey passed standards for its chemical plants, lobbyists for the chemical companies tried to get Congress to pass weak federal legislation for these plan
I am so proud to have voted for Gov. Mike Huckabee. I hope people who have srong moral convictions and really want a government for the people will do honest research about his true political record.

Ah Cindy. You didn’t mention you voted for Gomer on the other blog. Why is that?
Very good…he makes me proud to be an American!
God bless you Mike. We are counting on this miracle. Only you can do it.
GO HUCKABEE!!!!!!!!!!!
Go HUckabee!
I will be voting for Mike on March the 4th!
Go Huckabee
Does Huckabee deny medical treatment to children ?
Wow, we really are lucky we didn’t get killed by the IRS like Mike says. What scares us it that Mike wants to finish the job himself with the fair tax.
You zombies are following the person who with Bill Cunningham’s help is trying to get Senator McCain disqualified for not being born in the states.
Isn’t that something to be proud of?
GREAT AD!!!!! PERFECT!!!!! What a great man of moral……..no compromise!!!
Huckabee all the way!!!

Great ad, I think what he said was very good.
Does Texas have the guts to stand up or not ?
I thought the GOP is backing McCain ? What party is Huckabee with ? Even though I’m holding my nose to vote for McCain this NOV , for the primary vote for ROMNEY .
Great ad!
I like mikes comments, but do you really think he can do away with the IRS? Doesn’t congress have to make that happen?
anyway, my plan is to stop filing tax returns now hoping the fairtax becomes law.
Go Mike Go!
Near the Gulf bug lights sure come in handy …… zap .. …. . ZZZZZAPP Hey Ma ,think that one was a hucka … bee
Vote for Huckabee March 4th.
what kind of name is R A Z O R ?
As a born again Christian it is really hard for me to support Huckabee who bore false witness towards Mitt Romney . I know that you feel the same way too . My preacher does talk about other faiths when I’m around . It is better to LIVE for something than DIE for nothing .
*** C i n d y *** It works better than Daisy Puff . Me Lady’s name is Cindy too .
R A Z OR…..how in the world did Huckabee bare false witness towards Romney?
Romney was the one you was bashing Huckabee!!!
Soooo?
Clear, to the point, and clearly shows the differences between he and John McCain. Mike Huckabee will have a big day on Tuesday.
Great ad Huckabee!
He’s the only candidate I can trust to keep the illegals out and send the ones here back home.
Did I say HAT MONGER? My fingers do not necessarily type what i ask them to type.
*** Ann Romney’s *** blueberry pancakes are legend . If the GOP can win this NOV , I’m hopeing Mitt will be the VP …… Mitt likes his with homemade blackberry jam .
Does the huckster and the huckababies really think this ad is going to give them 1191 delegates must be that new math.
My predictions
If Huckabee wins Texas, he becomes the Jimmy Carter of the republican party.
If Huckabee goes against Obama, it LOOKS like KKK v. slave. Obama will win.
I STILL not heard of any “specific” thing Huckabee has done that was so “hateful”…..that gave Christians a bad name! WHAT IS IT???????
Come on…..let me hear it!
Please consider giving your primary vote to the truly conservative candidate, Governor Huckabee.
Mazzy7777,
Who said that Huckabee did anythind “hateful” or that he gave Christians a bad name? I want to vote for a good candidate for president. I asked Huckabee supporters to justify their support for their candidate.
Think Mazzy7777! You can do it! Think!
Why do you guys think Huckabee is a “hate monger”? He has a heart for the American people, the unborn, and will help this country so much.
Mazzy7777, do you think it was upright and honorable for Huck to receive those WV delegates from McCain? Did he really earn them? Maybe he should return them to their rightful owner.
Bobbert, I was referring to Frodo!
*** M a z z y *** the 6:04 post and his knowingly stating false doctrine to the news media in the form of a question . A true man or person of God does not use mind tricks that are lies or half truths . His type just does not work for me . I am not a sheep that follows his his type .
And Razor….with there comments on Huckabee!!!
WOW
GOOD AD…
No neg.
All substance
No wonder McCain doesn’t want to debate him one on one..
HEY McChicken are you man enough to stand up????
Go Huckabee! you have my vote!
You guys are still not giving any specfics here, when it comes to his “mind tricks” and “half truths”!
Oh the “back room deal” in WV? Give me a break…I can see your new to Politics!
Jay,
Give me three examples of Mike Huckabee’s integrity and charactor that you think show that he is worthy of my vote for his presidency.
Explain what you mean by “conservative” and “Reagan spirit in his sails” and explain why I should vote for someone with those charactoristics.
Explain how he “bettered the lives of Arkansas residents” and how that indicates that he would be a good president.
You can do it Jay! Think!
What has he done?…I’m still waiting?
Specific’s please…or am I wasting my time here?
A fatal flaw with the fairtax system is the assumption that people will continue to spend as they do today. Our economy is CONSUMER driven.
Under current tax system if I have $10 million and I still pay tax on my income. No choice. I don’t think about taxes when I spend my other money to enjoy life.
Under fairtax system I might just take my marbles and go home. No estate tax, no income tax. My heirs will be set for life. Sure I’m gonna live it up a little, but why spend excessively? I let all those schmucks that can only afford the necessaties pay the majority of the tax burden.
Think Mazzy7777.
We want you to tell us why we should vote for Mike Huckabee.
Think!!! You can do it!!!
Have you seen the article on Fox where McKing slipped and referred to himself as a liberal? First thing that came to my mind…
Well…well…well…isn’t this interesting.
Rest assured…I could never..would never confuse myself with being a liberal.
Matthew 12:34
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Matthew 15:18
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
Luke 6:45
For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Go Huckabee!! WE arew behind you here in TX!!!
Mazzy - was it a backroom deal or wasn’t it? You brush it off as just politics. Is Huck a politician or a good, honest decent man?
Shut up Vanila Ice. Mazzy7777, Jay and others are trying to think.
Why should anyone vote for Mike Huckabee?
What qualities do you think make a good president and how does Mike Huckabee demonstrate those qualities?
Mike Huckabee claims to be a “Christian leader”. What qualities make him so? Identify specific examples of Mike Huckabee demonstrating Christian love for his enemies. Boy! There sure are a lot of sour grape mormons around here!
Please respond Mike Huckabee cult members.
No dogma. Only original thoughts and original words.
Bobbert …you are a veryvindictive person! Wow cult members? Your a little lost I would say.
Bobbert: If you don’t know why you should vote for someone who has “conservative” and “Reagan spirit in his sails” then you are too far gone!
Go to CNN!
No attacking others. Tell us why we should vote for Mike.

Tell me what you mean by “conservative” and “Reagan spirit in his sails”. I don’t think it means what you think it means.
Huckabee’s plan
Ken,
Is it not appropriate for a presidential candidate to have advertising?
Why should I have faith in Mike Huckabee? What has he done? Tell me so I can believe too.
Governor Huckabee believes:
Gov. Huckabee - Your ad is solid, classy, and to the point
