Bill Clinton Hangs Out with the Longhorns

They just couldn’t get enough—that’s both President Bill Clinton and the students at the University of Texas at Austin. Clinton kept bounding down the steps of the bell tower at UT to greet screaming students. He leapt towards the surging crowd as students climbed on others shoulders to shake hands and take pictures with the former President. Clearly enjoying it, Clinton came down three times to greet the cheering students.
About 7,000 people listened to Clinton for an hour and learned that it was his daughter Chelsea’s birthday. He mentioned it when telling the crowd that even is he wasn’t married to Hillary he would be out campaigning for her:
“I want to tell you this, I do love my wife I plead guilty and especially today this is our daughter’s 28th birthday and she has been out here working,” Clinton said, “This is the anniversary of the happiest day of my life. “
He was introduced by actor Sean Astin and former Housing and Urban Development Director Henry Cisneros. There were Barack Obama supporters with signs and a man with a huge “Investigate 9/11″ sign, but they stayed mellow not interrupting Clinton. There was only one Ron Paul supporter who heckled with a bullhorn at the top of the speech. He called the former President a liar, abortionist, and a murderer. But, was quickly escorted out with no further interruptions.
Like all of his rallies in Texas, he began his speech with early voting and reminded the Longhorns of the Texas two-step: voting in both the primary and caucuses on March 4th:
“Don’t you think your country is worth 2 votes? Don’t you think your future is worth 2 votes?
He told the students—most would have been between ten and fourteen years old at the end of his presidency—about his wife’s health care plan saying that many of the students would not buy health insurance unless it was mandated, but he understood why:
“A lot of you would not buy it because you think you are young and healthy,” Clinton continued with a sigh, “I’ve been there. I know. I can still remember.”

You have to ask yourselves, who do I feel more comfortable with as Commander in Chief, someone who is barely learning about Foreign Policy or someone like Hillary who is intellectually superior in this arena.
Would that be the same Henry Cisneros who suburbanized the urban dilemma in this country, but forcing welfare and other subsidized housing away from our cities? New York City’s dreggs of society now reside all over upstate NY… thanks Henry - NOT.

BO keeps running a campaign calling for unity and nonpartisan politics. Well, could somebody please explain his ideolgical record in Congress and in the Ill. Senate?? More precisely, can anyone explain why the year after the Born Alive Infant Protections Act became federal law, identical language in the Ill senate was defeated and this was led by BO? In March 2001, BO was the ONLY speaker in opposition to the bill on the floor of the Ill senate. He makes Clinton, Boxer and Kennedy look like Right to Lifers.
I’m amazed that Clinton supporters and Republicans haven’t jumped at the chance to expose the illusion of the grand unifier.

The more I read about Obama, the more fearful I become. His record of drugs, association with criminals, the radical black only church and dirty politics. The worldwide support of every muslim group in the world with money and endorsement. Louis Farrakhan, with his Nation of Isalm is a real concern and Obama’s church endorsed him. Obama is not presidential material. His black only mentality is very troublesome and not right for our country. Both Obama and his wife received Ivy League education through affirmative action, but now they are finally proud of our country. Neither of the Obama’s had the grades or finance for the Ivy League college education, but the taxpayer got stuck with the huge expense. Don’t you get that warm and fuzzy feeling regarding the Obama’s. I didn’t use his middle name.
Thank God! People have snapped out of this trance, we want Hillary to stay in the race until Obama’s laundry all airs out…. and as you will find…there is just as much enthusiasm in learning about his faults and laundry that the media “especially” that media machine that CNN has exposed as to what I call a Hillary CNN Bashing Machine… CNN led to this unevenness in race and the truths of a real democratic race itself. I believe whether or not if you are a Christian or not, you should specifically make sure what the core beliefs of your church are…and I’m not into an all black belief based church that Obama represents. I want a church that believes for my core beliefs as well, especially if they are going to be president.. Truthfully, Hillary won both debates and Obama had an opportunity to answer since she led out on both debates. DOn’t be decieved by the CNN Media HIllary Bashing Machine!!!! Here is my problem with your theory,
If you calculate the distribution of Electoral votes needed to become president during a general election (using the states that Hillary and obama won to date). You get:
Hillary: 161 + (Florida 27 and Michigan 17) = 205 obama: 190
Hypothetically, the Supreme Court gives Hillary Florida and Michigan because the “chads” were hanging. LMAO!
Up next: Texas 34, Ohio 20, Pennsylvania 21 (75 Electoral votes)
As you see, if Hillary wins the next three states, she would have the 270 (actually 280) out of 538 needed to become president in the general election. He has not won “any” of the states the Democrats need to win in November! If he can not win them now, how can he win in November? Can you say Superdelegates! They should and must select the candidate with the best chance of winning in November, or the democrats need to learn to say President McCain!
