TN GOP halts use of Hussein after RNC rebuke
***10am 2/28 UPDATE*** (((RNC issues official statement: “The RNC rejects these kinds of campaign tactics. We believe this election needs to be about the critical issues confronting our nation.” -RNC Chairman Mike Duncan)))
After receiving a private rebuke from the Republican National Committee, the Tennessee Republican party removed online references to Barack Obama’s middle name as well as a photo attachment of Obama in a traditional Somali dress Wednesday evening.
A GOP official tells FOX that RNC officials chided TN state officials Wednesday for issuing the press release, titled “Anti-Semites For Obama,” which included the Democrat’s middle name, Hussein, as well as the controversial photo that was first publicized on the Drudge Report. Sen. John McCain also expressed his public displeasure with the state party’s conduct at a press conference in San Antonio, TX today.
In a follow up release posted late Wednesday evening, the Tennessee GOP remained unapologetic noting that the original statement was “twisted by Democrats who would prefer to scream “racism!” rather than deal with Obama’s real and worrisome record,” said Communications Director Bill Hobbs.
See the cleaned up version of the press release here…
Compared to the top of the original release below: (note the “Hussein” in the first sentence and the photo)
While the newest statement, titled “Tennessee Republican Party Remains Focused On Issue Not Race,” made no mention of the decision to remove the most controversial parts of the original release, there was an allusion that the TN GOP made the decision for party unity. “Attempts to put the Tennessee Republican Party at odds with Sen. John McCain regarding our Monday press release and his Tuesday comments are ineffective and vacant,” Hobbs added.
Full statement from Bill Hobbs:
Tennessee Republican Party Remains Focused On Issue Not Race
The Tennessee Republican Party expresses thanks to the numerous people who have called to express support for the strong stance that we have taken in defense of the nation of Israel.
Our Monday, Feb 25, press release alerting voters that Sen. Barack Obama has foreign policy advisers and endorsements rooted in anti-Semitic and anti-Israel views has been twisted by Democrats who would prefer to scream “racism!” rather than deal with Obama’s real and worrisome record.
Attempts to put the Tennessee Republican Party at odds with Sen. John McCain regarding our Monday press release and his Tuesday comments are ineffective and vacant given Sen. McCain’s consistently strong record as a defender of Israel.

As a Tennessean, I am utterly embarrassed by the TN GOP due to their false attacks and banter against Senator Obama. In their attempt of “party unity” they chose the route of a smear campaign instead of factual information regarding issues that affect our country. It appears that the Republican Party is shooting themselves in the foot on a regular basis. The days of ruling by fear have grown thin. People are sick of it. Insinuating that Senator Obama is a “radical Muslim terrorist” or “is plotting to take down America” is elementary and down right against the Christian religion (See: The 9th Commandment: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor). Senator Obama has proudly and adamantly shared, on a regular basis that he is a Christian yet a select group of people can’t seem to process that information. He denounced and rejected the endorsement of Farrakhan, yet again, a select group of people can’t seem to process that information. However, Senator McCain gets falsely accused of an inappropriate relationship, “denounces” and “rejects” the accusations, and somehow that gets dropped?
Kudos to both Senator Obama and Senator McCain for taking each other on their word and campaigning their hearts out in attempt to lead this country. I think it’s time that we ALL follow their lead and vote for the candidate that we feel can best get America back on track… Not vote based on hidden initiatives and outright LIES from certain news outlets, radio/TV personalities, slanted publications, biased groups, etc. With that said, if you are religious, act as such…and don’t spread lies. If you are not religious, be honest with yourself…do what is right…and don’t spread lies.
Regardless of your religion, I ask you to pray for the poor individuals that engage in the type behavior that we’ve witnessed from the Tennessee Republican Party (see also: Bill Cunningham) and the New York Times. Senators Obama and McCain deserve better. We deserve better. It’s our job to search for the facts and sort through lies. Those to send out information that lack factual content must be held accountable.
Who can ever get the truth out of Barack Obama without someone defending him. He doesn’t offer enough information for me to make a clear and informed decision about him. Everytime someone hurts his feelings-he cries foul and the subject is dropped. This man may be our next president and noone can run against him without someone crying foul. Can you imagine if he wins-everytime he doesn’t get what he wants-someone will cry foul. This is so insane. God help us!
I think Tennessee is right on the money. Here’s why.
We need to be sure Obama doesn’t get elected. I attended a meeting today where Gary Randall, President of Faith & Freedom, spoke. He has visited Kenya many times and physically helped build 10 churches there. Barak Hussein Obama visited his brother, Roy Obama, over there a few months ago in 2007. He also keeps in frequent contact with him according to Randall.Last year, Roy Obama, who is involved in the leadership of radical Muslims, and his Muslim cohorts, decided to destroy the Christians in their community. The Christians fled to one of the church buildings that Randall helped build. On their way, 700 men, women and children Christians were macheted to death. Barak met with the leader of these same Muslims, and appeared to side with them, according to Randall’s Christian contacts in Kenya. Honestly folks, we need to tell EVERYONE what Barak’s family stands for. Do we really want the President of the United States of America to have leanings toward terrorists? You might say that he is just maintaining a relationship with his brother.Well, if a presidential candidate was not wanting to be identified with terrorists, he wouldn’t contact his brother at all. Be worried folks. Don’t vote for Barak.
Fair & Balanced………stop using Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Dear Dave,
Thanks for responding to this important matter. Per your remarks, I think the “foul” calls are due to false and slanted information that is being thrown around without remorse. No one is saying the guy is perfect, just that he’s not the monster that some are trying to make Senator Obama out to be. His record is public knowledge. The truth about is background is too thanks to our good friends at google and wikipedia. I don’t see what the fuss is all about? More so, I don’t see how people can accuse a person of being a terrorist, etc. based on a first, middle or last name. In Obama’s case he has a middle name that just happens to be the last name of a evil man who is now dead. If in fact your real name is Dave, it would certainly be unfair for people to put you in the same category as David Berkowitz (Son of Sam). I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate people composing false emails about you, your beliefs, habits, etc. or post pictures of you on the web holding a gun in attempt to portray you as a serial killer to the world.
Just a thought…
Check out the Feb. 28th 1:04am comment of U.S. Alias - many Presidents were refured to by their complete names… But, even without his definate-Middle-Eastern middle name, his other names aren’t terribly American either… neither is his family ties (well put in Nancy Meachums Feb. 28 , 2:40am comment). Really, WAKE UP AMERICA - we do not want a person in the highest power position in the U.S.A. who has close and distinctive ties to the Islam world — they are known to threaten folks with beheading of family to get what they want . Neither do I want such a Muslim-named and connected person in the White House. Nor do I want a man who is a 20-year ‘Christian????’ member of a church of Black Supremacy. So, who will be his strong-arm cabinet? The Black Panthers or the Muslim Facists (represented in America by Farrakhan). And you thought Clinton and McCain looked bad - Geesh.
Dear Nancy,
You stated: Do we really want the President of the United States of America to have leanings toward terrorists?
My question is… Have you ever researched the Bush and Bin Laden famliy ties? Talk about scary…
Thanks for commenting. I’m going to have to do some research on Roy Obama and Gary Randall. That’s interesting even though the timelines don’t seem to match up. The ‘08 Presidential candidates have been hitting the trail awfully hard for over a year so it seems impossible that Senator Obama would have been able to sneak off to Kenya during such a rigorous campaign schedule. Also, the words “appeared to have sided with them” and “according to Randall” seems a little vague based on such strong accusations.
Whatever the case, out of respect and due diligence for you and your comments, I will do my research.
This is so rediculous. I have no problem with someone asking Obama where he stands on radical islam because of his muslim heritage. I am a Mormon and do not mind when people ask me where I stand on Warren Jeffs who is in federal prison for rape charges. He wwas the leader of a Church who broke away from the Mormon faith so they could still practice poligamy and other practices that Mormons do not believe in. I would tell them in no way, does this man represent my faith and my beliefs.
Enough with the Barak “Husein” Obama. If you have a problem with his middle name, than say I have a problem with his middle name and have questions in regards to wear he stands on radical islam. Do not tip toe around the idea and insinuate that he is a Jihadist, but ask him where he stands. There is nothing un-American about that.
Obama a great example of how the right picks and chooses who’s “American” enough for them.
He’s a person of color living the American dream, great for him,
Problem for the Repubs is that he’s a person of color an not a Republican.
Creeping American Fascism is up and standing tall in the Republican party.
What a bunch of bullies and thugs you have over there at fox news.
It’s a parade of propaganda, a festival of ignorance.

“a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.”
Apply that to liberals and conservatives, and see where the best application is.

Stupidity like this has cause me to cease all contributions to the RNC. Idiots all.
I am at a loss as to why there is a debate about Barrack Hussein Obama’s middle name. Everybody knows what it is whether they use it or not.
If you have a problem with the name Hussein, then don’t use it.
If Barrack Obama had a problem with it, he would change it.
If you use his middle name to defame his character, then that it says more about your character than it does Barrak Obama.
If you disagree with Obama on releant issues, that is OK, it is your vote.
If you use his middle name to persuade others not to vote for him, then you are crossing the line. Your vote is yours and other peoples vote is theirs.
I would think we could be ADULTS when it comes to casting our votes and not resort to this childish name calling.
The German people made Adolf Hitler their leader and that was a nightmare for the would. Now the American people are ready to make Barack Hussein Obama their leader. Does 911 mean anything to you people?
John
Thank you TN GOP for being the first in the country to make ANY stand.. Hussien is his middle name. What , he isn’t proud of himself? I am a TN Rep since day one McCain supporter, However, Tennessee needs to set the EXAMPLE on how to conduct a non-racist campaign as an example of southern civility. TN needs to convince all Tennesseeans, county by county that B.H. Obama and his philosophy will kill the Tennessee economy in 8 large counties ALONE, immediately. Tens upon 10s of millions of dollars are paying for 1000’s of people engaged in and around the BRAC re-alighnment. rebuilding of Arnold Air Base and improvement in Oak Ridge, highways and the products they use. The Democrats now are holding up money past July. WAKE UP TENNESSEE. It has to be hammered day in and day out that thousands of high paid Tennesseans will be laid off, apartments rented to military personnel, road improvements etc will end. AND IT IS NOT ONLY TENNESSEE affected, Kentucky, Florida, Alabama. Kansas, NC, SC GA and this is fact people….So quit the name calling and lets spit out the facts over and over.

Jay I agree with you. I would like to see Obama start doing the same thing McCain is doing however. McCain is slapping hands all over the place for playing dirty but Obama doesn’t appear to be following suit. I agree with McCain that Obama needs to tell Howard Dean to shut up and according to factcheck.org the DNC is preparing an attack mailer that they have determined to be completely misleading (in other words “lies”
regarding several points including his “100 years in Iraq” statement and Jack Abramoff.
I agree that both parties need to play nice but that includes the Democrats as well as the Republicans.
That is the point Scott919, this is a tactic a good one too. PLAY NICE US REPUBLICANS, REAL NICE. Because it is going to show real soon that B.H. Obama is the ONLY one playing the race card. Scott919 and hate has not been spewed at George Bush just for the sake of hate. Democrats have never forgiven him for beating Al Gore. Have you ever read any of Obama bloggers their hate of Hillary is unreal. They are threatening not to even vote democrat in general election if this she wins the primary.
Reading this garbage has only reinforced my support for Obama as well as the Democratic Party. Lets see, Obama is a radical Muslim. Do you really think Big Brother aka FBI, NSA, and the very few people who pull the strings of this country would allow someone with terrorist ties to come this close to the presidency? Also, how come nobody has mentioned the fact that Obama was editor of the Harvard Law Review?? Not that this accomplishment qualifies him for the presidency but it is very impressive. And this whole talk about experience….. Look at the experience our current president had…. His father was president and vice president. His grandfather, Prescott Bush was on the inside…. And W STILL DID A HORRIBLE JOB. Now I’m not going to sit here and pick apart W because it is too easy and it is taking a page right out of the republican hate rhetoric/name calling politics. I feel sorry for John McCaine having to represent the uneducated masses in this country. Atleast he is classy enough to put shock jocks and bible beaters in their place.

Well of course it has. Bush-bashing has never been more in vogue but that’s to be expected somewhat. The GOP hammered Clinton pretty hard, the Dems did it to Bush and Reagan. It’s the typical “we’re right and you’re wrong” stuff and as a general election nears it always heats up. Now I thiink the anti-Bush rhetoric has gotten a bit extreme. People who pound the “Bush is the worst president we’ve ever had” may want to research their history a bit more thoroughly. I don’t agree with a lot of Bush’s policies but some I think he is right on the nose with. But back to your point….certainly there has been hate mongering directed toward Bush.

Well generally speaking the ones who pound such angles as “everyone is a racist” or “everyone is a sexist” or whatever are usually themselves guilty of the crimes they accuse others of and they transfer it onto others to provide themselves with justification for their own views. Frankly I hope they keep to their threat.

LOL. Ok. You know, I was talking to a student of mine who is an Obama supporter the other day. We weren’t debating or trying to sway each other’s opinion, just chatting about politics. I made the point that I always thought it was interesting that people in their youth tend to favor the Democrats but in adulthood they tend to favor the Republicans and because the statistics bear that out then something must happen as they get older to prompt this change in political philosophy. I had never really given it much thought, frankly, but he immediately piped up and said “Well it makes a lot of sense. As you get older you are making more money and are more established in your life and you want to protect it.” He continued “What do I care if my taxes go up? I don’t make any money anyhow but when I start to you might see my opinion change as well.”
I told him he had wisdom beyond his years. Now if a 19 years old kid can see it………….

New Rule: Anyone in the media must also repeat the middle name of John McCain as frequently as they do with Barack Obama. Failure to do so proves the point that they are trying to make a point. Does anyone even know McCain’s middle name(Sidney)? In fact, if they insist on using Obama’s middle name, they must all call each other by their middle names from now on. Is that OK with you William James O’Reilly, Rush Hudson Limbaugh and Bill Whateveryourmiddlenameis Cunningham?
Thank God for ‘puters, it shows how much further we must travel to clean up racism and discrimination… and who we need to lead this country to help us do just that! I’ve never got the concept but if I had raised my daughter with such racism’s, I’d have to fear for her safety even more… We just have no use for it, nor does it better anyone’s lives in the long run. I was born with severe birth defects… It has been a horrible walk of negative perceptions and barriers placed upon me by our own government simply for their fortune in passing laws without being forced inside my frame - never experiencing, knowing or listening. Acts & laws that are costing us millions. Passing laws that they have yet to honor or lead by any example, awareness or knowledge. Applying their “feel good, let’s go to lunch” policies that only knock out, penalize and harm small businesses and mostly those whom are ignorant not by choice but by zero example, lead or application; the good ol’ MANDATE now, take your money… learn the hard way policies. I have never felt so harmed, exposed and attacked until our government passed the ADA ACT in 1992 with such careless and reckless abandonment towards the added turmoils it created to my life. Innocent people now fear me and hate me… I don’t blame them. I have been exposed and pushed to the front line for innocent people to fear me, for fear I’ll sue; and hate me because of the uncomfortable feeling and confusion to treat me the same only for my benefit and differently only for my benefit. That’s unfair… how are you to even know what’s right or wrong without an example? I have never complained or sued anyone! I hate the ADA Act for lack of educating even their ownselves first! I feel like I’ve been used by such mandates as they collect the profit. No inclusion, no support, no example and no thought to the consequences and harmful effects caused towards my life with mandates they do not, have not nor will have to live as I. The harms of mandates and fines without first including us or hearing us hurts too many people far too long before the negative consequences to such actions are ever recognized. Only then do we attempt to repair what we could have known, we should have known and has always been obvious to the lives of those whom were not allowed to be heard in the first place… Band-Aid’s that fall off. The Civil Right’s and ADA Acts are prime examples of why enactments take so long to take hold in this country. Our government needs to educate their ownselves for that which they can not know unless it is known and learned by us and through us. Only then can we save the time, money and harms to minimize the repercussions on all of us.
I am not in a wheelchair but apparently my disabilities gives me an edge of understanding, awareness and “experience” over many of those whom have not had to live with a barrier…
A quick-ticker example of those intended but obviously were not included:
We’ve spent millions of tax dollars widening doors, installing ramps, adding rails…etc. Now who was the FOO who placed the door locks a mile high and the toilet seat covers behind the toilet with the sink even blocking any available access to them? Most disabled people need more privacy in the bathroom as well as seat protector’s because we normally can’t squat over the toilet… and even a higher one to boot! Does anyone see just how stupidly clear that this group was not heard or included?! Yes a minor flaw to you, but it becomes major for us when we’re peeing all over ourselves when a stranger who becomes just as embarrassed walks in… and we are certainly not better equiped to handle crabs either! There is SO MUCH they missed but how can we complain when they’ve done so much? Besides, it’s a little late now!
…Now just think if only the government would have heard us or better yet, hired us to help them avoid such ignorance! They will have to go back and fix this minor flaw in 10 years when a “costly bug” begins to eat their health insurance profits! I have gained my “experience” and connected the dots by living through an outlet that many do not carry and one which is hard to find on paper…
That is the “experience” that I believe is being largely ignored and that which Barack Obama can tap to unite this country… Our chance to connect those dots is here with “experience” that no one could ever gain in their official capacity… no matter how much time they have invested. The ADA and placement of toilet covers proves that much!
We need to give this guy a chance… he has the “experience” which has been the missing link we just can’t get on paper and when they try… it takes forever, with results that always need improvements.
It’s the name given by Obama’s parents and he should be proud of it. Why do we treat it as if it’s an affliction? His name gives him distinction. If he’s muslin (which he’s not), he should be proud of that too. America is the melting pot and we should respect each others differences. I do not like him, will never vote for him but do not see a middle name or religion other than the mainstream something to hold against a candidate.
And that garb that Obama was pictured in-couldn’t understand the flap about that either. Obama looked quite charming in the photo. To see Bush, Clinton or Obama dress in the tradition of other countries is a positive for international relations. Those who are angered or embarrassed about the
picture must be conflicted about their own values.
But, again, I never did or will vote for Obama, since from day one, I’ve questioned his leadership and integrity.
Why not use his middle name, If he is elected to be our president , when he takes his oath, I believe he takes the oath using first, middle and last name. Is he ashamed of his middle name?
Winston Churchill was quoted, “If by 18 years old you are not a liberal you must not have a heart……..If by 40 you are not a conservative you must not have a brain”.
John McCain’s success is directly attributed to his taking issue with the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld handling of the Iraq war. The support he is getting from the Republican base proves that point.
The rejection of the extreme right’s poster boy, Mitt Romney, is just more proof that Hannity and Limbaugh have gone too far.
So, if you think the Bush bashing is unfounded, you need to look at the fact that even the Republican base has abandoned George Bush.
George W. Bush: WORST PRESIDENT EVER. Not open for debate. Deal with it hillbillies.

Oh I think there are things he has done where hammering him is completely justified. Others I don’t think so. Take the last NIE report for example. The media focused completely on half of the first line and completely ignored the second part of the first line and the footnote to that sentence that completely contradicted the first part. Then they pulled one or two other sentences out that gave them justification to hammer away on W. and completely ignored the rest that supported his position. I mean when even Al-Jazeera, the IAEA, France, and Germany are looking at you saying “well let’s not go too far here” I think that’s particularly telling.
So yes…sometimes he gets what he deserves. Sometimes it’s propaganda too.
That’s right Sonia. Obama should be proud of his name, his legacy. What kind of example is he providing for our youth by acting ashamed of an unusual name or to be pictured in cultural dress. He should be boasting “This is who I am!” What a powerful unifying message that would send! But that is not Obama. He lacks that leadership.
I SMELL DIRTY DIAPERS. THAT MEANS AMERICAN OR MASTER CONSERVATIVE CAN’T BE FAR AWAY.
.
AMERICAN OR MASTER OR WHATEVER OTHER NAME YOU’RE POSTING UNDER, REMEMBER ONE THING, A TROLL IS JUST ANOTHER NAME FOR COWARD
OBAMA,,DRAMA,,,130 PRESENT VOTES,,,,,RENZKO,,,COCAINE,,,,,HUSSIEN,,,,FARAHKHAN,,,,,CHURCH FOR BLACK PEOPLE ONLY,,,,,PROUD OF COUNTRY FOR THE FIRST TIME,,,,,
SO NOBODY SHOULD VOTE FOR HIM
@ Sherrie F.
I find your comments offensive personally, the ADA of 1992 was actually extremely necessary because Colleges would do whatever they could to discriminate against students with Learning Disabilities and Students with Physical Handicaps. I’ve seen some of this and experienced some of it firsthand.
The college wouldn’t provide a notetaker to someone whom was blind and I had to take notes for him and I have dysgraphia which affects my fine motor making it so my hands hurt from extended writing. The ADA is necessary, it’s just when you get too many bored lawyers that things start going crazy.
@ Athens J
Just shut up, seriously.
I’m supporting McCain and I’m hardly uneducated (considering I’m in college) though I feel sorry for you supporting Barack Obama because you’ve had too much of the extreme-left wing brainwashing.
All of you people who comment here regardless of who you’re for or what group you belong to are total losers.
All you’re doing is trading comments with the same 150 - 200 losers just like you regardless of which blog you’re on. You have no impact on the election and I guess your own lives are so miserable you have to create some type of dismal existance here. How pitifully sad it is that you can only expesss yourselves using phony name.
Who would you rather vote for
Hillary Rodham Clinton or
Barack Hussein Obama?
Change or SOLUTIONS?
Enough said.
Hillary’ 08
Hey Pete, we losers welcome you! Now, what was your point?
[...] saying it stood by the decision, the state party received complaints from the National GOP and decided to remove the references to Hussein and a picture of Obama in African garb from its [...]
The first step to recovery is to recognize that you do have a problem.
You’re the first person I known with the name mmy. Could it stand for MISERABLE MORONIC YENTA?
Let’s get REAL here. Did the guy EVER use his middle name when he was younger? For instance, did he ASK his buddies to call him Barack Hussein, or Barry Hussein because he preferred it? Did he ask his college instructors to use all 3 of his names? Did any of us really care if someone had Hussein in their name until we decided to villify the ruthless dictator of Iraq If not, it’s ridiculous to think that GOP use of his middle name is nothing but a smear/scare tactic. How many of us Anglos currently choose ‘Adolph’ as a middle name for our kids, and if so, does that make them Arian Nazi’s by birth?
Either attack the man based on his politics and philosophies, or leave out the juvenile name game. Voters are adults and don’t need to be bullied into opinions.
OBAMA GETS MEDIA FAVORE,,,
GO TO CNN,,LOU DOBBS,,,HE IS HAVING VOTES DONE DONE TODAY,,,,,,,WE CAN VOTE ON HIS WEBSITE ,,
WELL WE HAD A ROUGH LAST NIGHT WITH MASTER, AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE AT THE OLD NURSING HOME. THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT HE WOULD BANG HIS METAL URINAL AGAINST HIS BED RAILS. THEN WHEN SOME STAFF PERSON WOULD GO IN TO TELL HIM TO KNOCK IT OFF, HE WOULD FLING FECES AT THEM.
THIS HAS TO BE THE RAUCHIEST, NASTY OLD MAN, EVER.
I SWEAR I HAVEN’T SEEN BEHAVIOR LIKE SINCE I USED TO VISIT THE MONKEY’S IN THEIR CAGES AT THE ZOO.
HEY LOSER, HOW MANY DIFFERENT NAMES ARE YOU GONNA HIDE UNDER TODAY?
Mike 33 - you’re absolutley right. It’s not like it’s hard to criticize his policies. Talk about how much he wants to spend on programs. Talk about how much our taxes would go up. Talk about his horrible ideas about Iraq. There’s a million things. His middle name? Who cares? Let’s get back down to substance and policies.

George W. Bush: WORST PRESIDENT EVER. Not open for debate. Deal with it hillbillies.
——————————————————————————————————–
Very executive class of you GREEN HERON. Top notch. Very impressive too, your singlehanded closure of the “debate”. And finally the label “hillbillies”, so appropriate, please do take your richly deserved place at the seat of AUTHORITY!
We can never hope to have any change as long as Congress is filled with people who have been there forever and are more concerned with ensuring their power and not governing. Nancy Pelosi’s biggest accomplishment has been to change The House’s menu. These are people who only work 100 days a year how can they ever understandthe life of hardworking Americans.
I am afraid that Obama is going to win by Political Correctness in that that is the main stategy of the DementedCrats for years; Also, the usage of Hussien in Obama’s name is not OFF the table if it is and the Republicans pull back that is exactly what the Non-Democratic party wants; therefore, victory by Racism by Republicans, Republicans Bad guys. As I used to tell my now deceased husband ” why are the Non-Democrats worried, they already won, just look at the lack of education in school but the indoctrination of school kids, the polictical corrects that is running amuk!
statement of Hobbs very dualistic, and actuacually doesn’t say very much; it also actually with wording ‘worrisome record Obama’ keeps their initial stand. furthermore the whole issue of Israel/Palestine has hardly been raised except for anti-Israel or pro-Israel remarks, just in order to get the large jewish votes. All a bit simplistic, kindergarten-politics; think Obama a more realistic stand hopefully, the whole issue of israel is tight to wider area, and just support Israel no matter what is quite ill-founded. Even friends have arguments, and try to solve them. Even the majority of israel people are tired of stalemate, and like a dialogue wit
