Clinton Calls Obama Flip-Flopper on National Security
In a wide-ranging foreign policy speech focused on restoring America’s standing in the world, Senator Clinton argued that she’s the candidate most ready to be commander in chief — and painted her opponent as a flip-flopper on issues of national security.
First, she attacked his plan to meet with America’s enemies himself, without preconditions. “America will have the courage once again to meet with our adversaries,” she said. “But I will not be penciling in the leaders of Iran or North Korea or Venezuela or Cuba on the presidential calendar without preconditions, until we have assessed through lower level diplomacy, the motivations and intentions of these dictators.”
“We simply cannot legitimize rogue regimes or weaken American prestige by impulsively agreeing to presidential level talks that have no preconditions. It may sound good but it doesn’t meet the real world test of foreign policy.”
She also lit into the idea of unilateral attacks on countries like Pakistan — which Obama threatened in a foreign policy speech last year. “One thing the American people can be sure of, I will not broadcast threats of unilateral military action against a country like Pakistan just to demonstrate that I am tough enough for the job,” she said. “We have to change our tone and change our course.”
Senator Obama, she said, “wavers from seeming to believe that mediation and meetings without preconditions can solve the world’s most intractable problems. To advocating rash unilateral military action without cooperation from our allies in the most sensitive region of the world. Electing a president should not be an either/or proposition when it comes to national security.”
“We need a president who knows how to deploy both the olive branch and the arrows.”
It’s no surprise who she thinks that president should be. “Who will be ready to act swiftly and decisively in a crisis?” she asked. “Who will pursue strategic demands of hard diplomacy to re-establish moral authority and our leadership? In this moment of peril and promise, we need a president who is tested and ready, who can draw on years of real world experience working on many of the issues that we now confront.”
“I believe I am the candidate most ready today to be that kind of president and commander in chief.”

Facts That Huckabee Haters Don’t Want People to Know:
Huckabee is recognized as a national leader, having been honored by several renowned publications and organizations for his numerous accomplishments. Governing Magazine named him as one of its ‘Public Officials of the Year’ for 2005, Time Magazine honored him as one of the five best governors in America…
Huckabee is past chairman of the National Governors’ Association (NGA) and chairman of the Education Commission of the States.
As former chairman of the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission, Huckabee worked with the 37-state coalition to develop energy policy and lobby Congress on energy matters, such as the regulation of oil and gas production. He also is known nationally for his focus on technology in state government. He created an automobile license renewal system that’s become a model for states across the country. Huckabee directed the creation of other advancements that have made Arkansas a technology leader among the states.

Obama is an ENFP and he is not afraid of germs . ENFPs will pick things off the floor and puts it in his mouth . I can not wait for Obama to blow his nose again and share it at his rally .
“Who will be ready to act swiftly and decisively in a crisis?” she asked.
My answer: Not you Hillary! You make EVERYTHING a crisis and then you take DAYS to say or do something even more dumb than the last!
Hillary Clinton to be Joined by Senior Retired Military and Defense Officials at Today’s Foreign Policy Speech
Clinton Unveils List of Flag Officers Endorsing Her for President
Hillary Clinton will set out her approach to American foreign policy in the 21st Century in a speech at George Washington University today. Joining her will be a group of senior retired military and defense officials who have endorsed her to be this nation’s next Commander-in-Chief. They are: General Wesley Clark, Lt. General Joe Ballard, Major General Antonio M. Taguba, Rear Admiral David Stone, Brigadier General John M. Watkins, Jr. and former Secretary of the Army Togo West. Generals Taguba and Watkins will formally announce their endorsement of Senator Clinton today.
Many of our nation’s most distinguished military officers stand proudly with Hillary Clinton because they believe that she has the strength, experience and leadership necessary to be President and Commander-in-Chief. They include three four-star generals, a former chairman and vice-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many other Americans who have served their country with honor and distinction.
In addition to the endorsements of Generals Taguba and Watkins, Senator Clinton is proud to announce the endorsement today of Admiral William Owens (Ret.).
Admiral Owens served with distinction for more than 30 years in the Navy, rising to become Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nation’s second highest ranking military officer.
Major General Taguba served his country with distinction for 34 years, retiring from the Army in 2007. The son of a Filipino-American who survived the 1942 Bataan Death March, General Taguba led the Army’s investigation into prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib in 2004.
Brigadier General John M. Watkins, Jr. served nearly 30 years in the Army and completed his military career as the Chief Operations Officer/Deputy Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency.
Admiral Owens, General Taguba, and General Watkins are among 27 flag-rank military officers who have endorsed Senator Clinton to be our nation’s next Commander-in-Chief. They join more than 2,000 veterans and military retirees who are members of Senator Clinton’s national and state veterans’ steering committees.

***I see bias*** The only one that did not flip flop and was tagged with it unfairly is no longer in the race . These two are going to get mean to each other .
I am a white female in my 40’s and cannot stress enough to voters that Hill/Bill is a scary choice for president. Billary owes so many special interests, they live a step ahead of a grand jury, they don’t play fair and don’t care. Bill continues to slip up and say vote for him! They couldn’t fix health care in 8 years, they want a third chance…..maybe I would like her better if she wasn’t the wife of a former president who is dying to get back in the White House….if she had only her own two legs to stand on, not Bill’s also….the plagarism deal was hilarious….in the debate she used the term “xero”, SHE “plagarized” Bill’s mantra about it being about the voters and Edwards in her closing statement. I have had enough manipulation by the Clinton’s, the flip flopping of Hill’s emotions and the flagrant mocking of her opponent! Please, enough already…..
They all go back and forth on the issues. It depends on what state they are in as to what answer they give. This a dirty dirty game.
Hillary I support you.
She’s broke! The poor lie to get by… and the rich need not beg a welcome!
Actually on this Hillary is telling the truth, because what she’s going after is comments that Barrak made with his own mouth.

So you think that would be good right? Oh no, she will turn around and stupid-fy and make herself look like a fool again! She can’t help herself!
SHERRIE F ~~
Why are you making this all about money? Are you saying you can only be a good president if you have more money than the other candidates? If so, thats a pretty sad reason to support one candidate over anothe. You should check your moral barometer!!
Nope, just expecting one to be able to balance their own checkbook… before they go shopping!
Requirements to Become President
From Phaedra Trethan
Now Accepting Applications
So you want to be president? Forget the nerves of steel, the charisma, the skeleton-free closet, the fund-raising network, the thick skin and the legions of loyal folks who agree with your stance on all the issues. Just to get into the game, you have to ask: How old are you and where were you born?
Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States, though from time to time that requirement is called into question, most recently after Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, was elected governor of California, in 2003. The Constitution originally provided a small loophole to this provision: One needn’t have been born in the United States but had to be a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. But, since that occurred in 1789, that ship has sailed.
One must also be at least 35 years of age to be president. John F. Kennedy was the youngest person to be elected president; he was 43 years old when he was inaugurated in 1961. There is no maximum age limit set forth in the Constitution. Ronald Reagan was the oldest president; at the end of his term in 1988, he was nearly 77.
Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen. The Constitution is vague on this point. For example, it does not make clear whether those 14 years need to be consecutive or what the precise definition of residency is. So far, however, this requirement has not been challenged.
These are the only explicit criteria in the Constitution.
I think the only one making a stupid fool out of herself is Sherrie F…. It’s obvious that SOME people can’t open their eyes and face the fact that Obama will bring devastation to our country and all the Americans that voted for him will deny that they casted that dreaded vote, and by then it will be to late.
For Sherrie F.
I take you are not a Hillary supporter. That’s okay. I am sure you a very nice person.
I know I don’t get so excited that I lose my fish when I catch ‘em!
Hillary keep fighting. Everyone knows you have to fight for what you believe in.
Hillary 2008

Are one of the many paid bloggers for Obama? I hope he is paying you enough money for your soul.
Does anyone think that Obama acts like Hitler ?
No, but I do donate to his campaign… less than 18,000 people to go before one million donors!

Talking about Clinton assures donors after losses
Senator Clinton is indeed being treated unfairly by the media, the media is trying to pull her down. The men does not like her strength, while the women are jealous of her strength for being a very smart woman. She must not give up, she should fight to the end, the american people will realize, she is the right person to lead this country at this perilous time. I equate Senator Clinton like a dated check, she is the present who will lead this ccountry better, based on her tested accomplishment. While Obama could be likened to a promissory note, it is only a “promise”, like a postdated check, you will not know if there will be funds when the check is due. Due to his lack of experience he will depend on his “advisers”that surrounds him, it will not be his own mind at work. He will end up like Pres. George Bush, only “charms” no substance.
From Washington State
I am a centralist without anyone to vote for .
I don’t see how he could be accused of being a flip flopper when he doesn’t really stand for anything at all. Barack Hussein Obama is a blank slate on which the American people can paint whatever hopes and dreams they have for the future. He is nothing more than a motivational speaker (I think Chris Farley did it better on Saturday Night Live)
Is it too late to ask you what a centralist is RaZ?

No, but I do donate to his campaign… less than 18,000 people to go before one million donors!
Just goes to show ya how many stupid Americans we have living in this country!!! Try giving your money to the poor or the homeless and starving men, women and children if you really care about your fellow Americans. How disgusting are you?
eeehmmm..”It takes a village to raise a child”…I heard Hillary say…
That journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step… And we can’t do it by ourselves!
And exactly what is your point Sherrie? Are you slamming Africa now or just the millions of Americans that use that same terminology everyday? Our First Lady has said the samething several times, so please do explain yourself!!!
You are right we can’t do it alone…but that does don’t mean I have to vote for Obama in order to take that trip.
…Yes We CAN!
Take a thousand steps towards the middle east and don’t forget to stop in and visit Obama’s kin folks while your there!!
Darn brain working faster than my typing:
I meant to say……… I do not have to vote for Obama in order to take that trip.
No.. you don’t… and I’m certainly not going to call you a bunch of filthy, rotten names if you don’t either!
Boy, talk about a flip flopper!!
No lets talk about the one person here with at least (4) different names talking to themselves.
That’s right Ed or Sherry and Florida Gal and who knows how many others Must have a lonely life to keep talking to your self as you do to make people think there is more Hilly supporters here.
Sherrie F.- your talking to multiple personalities here.
Today`s world is too dangerous to have a Pres. learning on the job…who`s showed his great ignorance to the world more than once already…one can`t negotiate openly with the terrorist enemies of the US without preconditions, etc…to think so is extremely naive…many of these terrorists, dictators, etc., hate the US so much that many HOPE all Americans would drop dead right now…and want the US to CHANGE to something other than democracy…
Obama also showed just how naive he really is to the whole world in the last debate with that story he told…and, in the process, showed a lack of understanding of how the military is structured…
having seen that…i can see it now…terrorists in other countries carrying signs which say,
“Obama 08, America!…He INSPIRE us with HOPE and CHANGE!…CHANGE even we can believe in!”
NWO…don’t for get the zilch of an impersation of Lojoes.
maybe it`s an Obama supporter doing the multiple postings in this particular case?…guess it could be either…
Well, it sure is helping! 14,000 before Obama hits One Million donors now! Keep up the good work Hill!
Close to ONE MILLION donors owning Obama’s campaign… not the lobbyists…not this time!
How can anyone say that a candidate who made the right judgement on the biggest foreign policy event in the last two decades “stands fro nothing?” ADditionally, a candidate who has a wiser health care policy - no Massachusettes-style mandates- is taking a principled stand for reform. Finally, I’d take the potential to change the mood of the coutry, and the image of our country abroad over a candidate who is polarizing and helped to burn a negative image of America abroad in the first place.
Hillary is a scary person. She totally mis-managed her campaign, and is now in desperation mode. She is showing a different persona virtually every day, trying to find one that actually connects with people. She mocks millions of voters who had the “Audacity” to vote against her. If she gets the nomination, how does she propose getting all those insignificant people to see the light, and vote for her in the general election? It won’t happen. At least 50% of America is hoping and praying that these are the last few weeks of the dysfuntional Clinton dynasty. John Buchan once penned this, “The true definition of a snob is one who craves for what separates men rather than for what unites them”. That defines both Hillary and Bill, in my opinion.
Well, I just observed Obama on TV in his Muslim garb … why doesn’t he campaign in what appears to be his choice clothing? He won’t wear the American Flag on his lapel, but he seems very comfortable traveling into East Africa and then displaying himself in Muslim dress so he can identify with various groups there. However, he doesn’t believe it is necessary to wear the American flag on his lapel when campaigning in Amercia … and this is the guy we want as our Commander-in-Chief. Somebody has to be kidding. I think we are beginning to see his true colors, and guess what, they are not Red, White and Blue because he doesn’t like what the American Flag represents.
Obama wasn`t even in Congress when this vote for the war came up…he can make up what ever he wants that`s gonna make him look smarter than the rest of the world…so, of course, he`s gonna say he`s been against the war from the start…makes him look good in the eyes of his followers who believe all his lies…
as for the campaign, there`s no comparison to be made, since both campaigns were looking at a completely different race when this started…back then, Hillary had a lead of around 20% in nearly every state…so excuse her for being a wee bit comfident…she even let her good buddy, Barack, who she helped get elected for his 1st term very recently, steal both the, “I`m the candidate of change!”, and the, “Yes we Can”, lines which she used long before Obama ever did…but that was so long ago now that most don`t remember it.
Hillary simply ran the campaign exactly the way strategy dictates when you`re that far ahead in all the polls…and Obama simply ran the same strategy that you`re supposed to when that far behind…but, absolutely no one saw this race unfolding the way it did…and if they say they did, they`re lying thru their teeth!
on health care plans, he stole most of his from hers once she got him elected…along with many of her other plans…which, at the time, she thought would be easier to get into law with Obama`s help…truth is that she was working on her plans long before Obama came along…
her mocking is of Obama…not his followers…even the major Obama-friendly networks agree with this…mocking him as just a preacher giving last Sun. church sermon…replace the word hope with faith, for ex., and the meaning of his speeches remain the same…it`s a simple extention of the , ‘all words-no action-no solutions’, rhetoric, etc., which he preaches.
and if she just happens to win this nomination, she`ll easily unite the party again by sinply naming her good buddy, Barack, her VP running mate, making more history…he`ll probably do the same with her if he wins…either way, it`d be very difficult for any Repub. combination to beat…they both know this.
imho, Obama is the def. of snob…who else would get on the world stage and brag about how great his speeches are…who else would say things like, “we are the change we`ve been waiting for”, knowing full well that it`s himself he`s really talking about…since he alone is the one his followers are trying to elect Pres…this kind of arrogance, and deception, makes Hillary look humble by comparison…and, once he`s elected, i`ll give you 3 guesses what happens to you…and if you should happen to lose your house, etc., just give your good buddy, Barack, a call and see what happens…i guarantee that you wouldn`t even get a response.
hey Independent…think Obama ever put his hand on a bible in his life…also, think he ever paid respect to the American flag and all who died for it…by putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance?…if he gets elected, it`s going to be a very interesting inauguration!

Farrakhan endorsed Obama. Crusader against the white devil endorsed Obama. Why can’t I find this on any website after I saw it on the news? Would it be racist to report it?
The Obama illusion goes on … reminds me of a typical magic act in Las Vegas, except it isn’t quite as good. Our only hope is that Hillary can make him disappear. I’m becoming a little concerned with Obama … there is absolutely no substance with this guy. Yet, with the help of our great, independent media (like the New York Times, CNN, NBC,etc.), he is sucking all of these voters into his fold. Psychologically, it is interesting to watch; however, the ramifications of the outcome should be of great concern to most Americans. Let us review the Obama lesson again this morning: Change, Hope, a New Direction, and on and on … what substance this man has, what depth.
Is Hillary smart enough to purposely blow the elections for herself because she has changed her mind , but wants to go back to her respectful Junior Senator job? I really have to wonder about that.
…Or attempts to split the dems. for her own financial interest groups… I don’t know, it’s just all the odd-ness of late.
Sherri F. and Jim….
Thanks so much for noticing the gross impersonation of myself. I have actually come to realize that the Hillary Supporters ( most anyhow, namely Aisha) think that their words and actions actually are helping Hillary’s campaign. I have come to realize that they actually are stooping to the same lows of their own candidate.
Their actions on this site, have only propelled me to vote for Obama even more. I am a republican who loves my party, but am not happy with my choice of candidate. I feel that this country needs a new and fresh president.
Hillary is taking kudos for ideas or solutions that happened within the Clinton presidency. She is not an ideal candidate. She is a loose canon that has already,on more than one occasion ,fired off at the mouth without thinking. We have seen the polls reflect this already! One bad move by your campaign, ie the pic of Obama dressed in traditional somalian garb, had the effect on her polls. She dropped within one day down 5 points.
True americans know the difference between a last chance smear campaign and what this country needs. We do not need an over emotional, over controlling, and over confident president. She is a true threat to all that we love about this country.
My husband works abroad most of the year. In Canada, he has had many people tell him that their healthcare system is a joke. Like previously stated on this spread, to be in universal healthcare, you have to wait to get MRI’s, Chemo treatment. Sometimes the wait can be extremly long. I do not feel that I should have to pay for others to get healthcare. While I am blessed, with a husband who has a great healthcare plan through work, ( we only have to pay 50.00 a month for a family of 4), I still do not feel that I should have to work 5 hours a week to pay for someone else to have coverage. That is NOT my responsibility. That is the governments responsibilty. If they could stop the pork barrel spending and use that money to help cover the costs of healthcare, we wouldnt have as many issues. Now I am not saying, that only DEMOCRATS try to get earmarked money, we all know that Repubs and Dems alike both try to Pork Barrel spend.
The one thing that McCain has for him, is that he has not nor will not try to get earmarked money. I still will not vote for him. I would like to see a young, smart, intelligent man in office. I need to know that I dont have to worry about him having nervous breakdowns, crying on cue, etc..
I in turn will vote for Obama. No amount on abuse on this website will deter me otherwise. It only makes me stronger.
Republican for Obama 08!!
Sorry that lost post should have been addressed to Sherrie F. and NWO
Quote: “I still do not feel that I should have to work 5 hours a week to pay for someone else to have coverage. That is NOT my responsibility. That is the governments responsibilty.”
Lojoes. The government does not pay for anything … people who pay taxes pay for everything. I’m not sure what your husband does, but Obama is going to take a lot more of your income … it’s a concept that is often referred to Socialism. He then will implement more inefficient, ineffective government programs, and everyone will live happily ever after.
Democrat who is going Republican …. I like old people.
Barak Obama is NOT qualified to lead this country and handle foreign affairs with skill, UNDERSTANDING and precision. He clearly shows his immaturity by thinking he can just sit down with our ememies without preconditions! What kind of person are the faiting masses rallying around? I don’t want Obama as President of this country in such delicate times as these. He’d have us in wars all over the word becasue of his stupidity about what it REALLY takes to be Commander in Chief. Hillary Clinton is prepared—she is skilled and knows how to handle international issues and get this country back on the road to being respected as a true world leader. Behind Obama’s words is nothing. So what is he can hold rock-star rallies and inspire? We don’t need a rock star as President! He has not been scrutininzed much by the media but lurking in his own shadow is deceit, arrogance and disrespect for the American Flag. I wonder how long HE has been “proud” of this country? The military experts in this country are now beginning to express serious reservations about his ability to lead as Commander in Chief….people need to wake up before it’s too later and lend Hillary your votes. She is the only one in this race who has the knowledge, judgment, fortitude and integrity we so desperately need! It’s truly alarming that so many people are basing theirr votes of whether they “like” a candidate’s personality rather than whether the person is truly prepared, skilled and equipped to be President. It’s a symptom of what’s wrong in this country..appeal vs hard work; commitment vs. flowery words; understanding vs plattitudes; instant gratification vs. accomplishment.
Independent:
Although I feel you have valid points, My husband and I make a little over 100,000 a year. We currently pay around 30,000 in taxes. Im sure that they will take more money out of MY hardearned money, however at least he doesnt support government health care. Its not logistical. Hillary is going to try to make everyone pay for healthcare. I do not believe, and no I am not a cold hearted person, that I should have to pay for someone elses health.
On that reason alone, I will vote for Obama.
I understand that McCain could be a good candidate, but I havent heard anything from him that makes me want to change my vote. Maybe during the “real” campaigning with only two candidates, I may switch sides.
Thanks for you thoughts independent….they are welcome!!
Can I ask a question? To all of you who say that the POTUS cannot sit down with our enemies; how far has that position gotten us thus far? Has the Cuban policy produced any fruit? The current policy is not working, it is doing nothing to change the American image. We have adopted this policy for many years and it has produced nothing but hate. Common sense says that if the current policy isn’t working, try something new.
***Lojoes*** What faith propells Obama to choose death for innocents ? What god from what bible moves Obama to support a heinous act like infanticide ? As an ENFP that is prone to misanthropia and clinical paranoia due to the N ,which is irrational , this is explained as atheism .
Razor……
Can you please provide me proof of your thoughts?
Lojoes, Obamas programs are to help people for health care. To get everybody into college. To bail out everybody from foreclosure. My problem is this.
Only higher taxes will pay for everybodys healthcare.
Even though kids will have to perform community service for college money, this is time that cannot generate any revenue to pay back the loan. Therefore, only higher taxes will fund this.
Alot of people in foreclosure put themselves in that position. My wife and I could have been approved for a bigger house, but we knew we couldn’t afford it in the long run. We weren’t going to rely on the government to bail us out for a bad decision. Only raising taxes will fund this.
Another thing that really bothers me is the endorsement by Louis Farrakhan. This guy is a known racist that has said bad things about Jews and would think of me as a white devil. This is how he’s going to bring America together? I don’t think so.
I just can’t see a man with these ideas and characteristics to be a leader for the United States, the best nation in the world.
NWO– Someone sounds a little paranoid in here!! Go play out your unfounded delusions somewhere else!!
ALERT!!
I just viewed this website and now I have to switch my vote and support for Hillary Clinton. EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS…
http://www.freedomsenemies.com/_more/obama.htm
Heads up people ~~~ I just noticed that NWO is also SHERRIE F. ~~~ They both have the same email address!! Talk about multiple personalities. Use the email fact check service and you will see for yourself who the multiple personaliities are. LOL.. Talk about desperate Obama Osama Hussein supporters!!!!
To: Holy Mama. I just checked out the site. I’m honestly not surprised. This information will come out during the general elections. Obamabots probably won’t care though.
Just Because;
Seems you are delusional to think anyone believes your ridiculous posts and if you have proof to your allegations then prove it. By the way I do not even know Sherrie F. but it is perfectly clear who you are and how many identities you have and that you love talking to your self. Try and get a life because you sound like Hillary and her desperate campaign.
a few things…Hillary, called schizo by some in the Obama-friendly media for switching the tone of her message, is, of course, anything but…but the Obamatized actually believe this…not surprizing when one considers that they`re also willing to believe the mis-truths of a literal newbie Sen…and even that`s an understatement…so far left, he`s a card-carrying member of the ACLU no doubt…in a recent election, this was used by the Repubs. to derail the Mike Dukakis bid for Pres…with this in mind, please consider that this guy is more ultra-liberal than even Mike Dukakis and makes Hillary look moderate.
but back to Hillary, if you need any proof of how they fooled the Obamatized, please also consider that these same media people calling her schizo are now calling her a , “Political Warrior”, to try to get you to watch the debate tonight being carried on their station…What!?…did i miss something?…when did she transform from being schizo to suddenlyly being a Political Warrior?…truth be known, what`s obvious to Hillary supporters is that she`s showing that she can be compassionate if she has to…tough/scolding/strong if she has to, etc…this is something that the next Pres. needs to be successful in the this dangerous world…Obama has shown no such abilities…just the same old, ‘change’, rhetoric over and over…and always preached in the same condescending tone…which may work to get young votors, etc., but won`t work with our enemies and it won`t work in Congress…and never has.
oh, and btw, Hillary`s healthcare plan does not force anyone to have to be covered if they can`t afford it.
well, i stated earlier that terrorists, etc., would even believe in the kind of change Obama offers if elected…now Farrankan, who once stated that Hitler was a great man, has come out and endorsed Obama…i wonder what crack-pot`s gonna be next…i also wonder if he`ll be at the inauguration if he`s elected…same goes for Obama`s fellow church members…and any other nuts who endorse him…
Lojoes, WELCOME! Me someone else here? LOLOLOL… NWO, I hope you’re not 3 feet tall! The same e-mail? I seem to be getting my mail just fine. LOLOL Too funny!
To me, Hillary hasn’t done anymore or better with any of that so self acclaimed title of “experience”. Everybody wants somebody else to take the lead, blame or keep things the way they are (w/a band-aid)… Hello? It’s not working! I want that to change and I want to help make that change because we can be a part of that change. The politicians keep us out of the loop for a reason and I’m finding in my own life, that I do not like those reasons. Our leader must “talk”(no disputes there)… we know he’s the best at that! Does Hillary think you don’t talk… our does her experience think you sit behind a desk going mmmm? Obama fought for Constitutional Civil Rights in this country even though there is such a shortage of civil Rights attorney’s in this country… because of better pay in other fields. He is not a Junior Senator… he is a Senator holding the position longer. He taught Constitutional Law and was a Civil Right’s Attorney… That is very important to me. We are losing our civil rights and I want someone who has hands-on law experience fighting for those rights! Time and time again, when they screw something up they simply try covering it up until we are in such a dire mess that they have to take more from us… never affecting their ownselves. Bush continued reading to children when told of the 9/11 attacks…it didn’t affect him! Obama wants us all to have some say and responsibilty in the choices being made. Contrary to what they want people to believe, we are all some pretty smart people whom are not lazy but we are being treated like children from the past… doing what they thinks is best, never being heard, keeping secrets, only feeding us a little while they scrarf down the biggest portion… We the people are not children and we need to be given the opportunity to be included in that which affects us now and in the future. No one person should be being blamed… unless they don’t listen to us. I don’t feel the other candidates are listening and I feel Obama is. That’s all! I’m not going to call you evil names if you do not want my candidate. I want my candidate! I love watching him, listening to him, I can understand him and what he has endured to get this far, I love what he wants for us, I love his positive energy and humor, I love his ideas, I love his drive to make things different… and I would love to have him as our President of United States. I just can’t say all of that about the rest.
Have A Good Day!
Obama`s record is a joke compared to Hillary`s…here`s ALL her achievements/experience as a US Senator, for ex.:
In 2000, Hillary was elected to the United States Senate from New York. As Senator, Hillary has continued her advocacy for children and families and has been a national leader on homeland security and national security issues.
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Hillary worked with her colleagues to secure the funds New York needed to recover and rebuild. She fought to provide compensation to the families of the victims, grants for hard-hit small businesses, and health care for front line workers at Ground Zero. And she continues to work for resources that enable New York to grow, to improve homeland security for New York and other communities, and to protect all Americans from future attacks.
She is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee, working to see that America’s military has the necessary resources to protect our national security. She has visited troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and at Fort Drum in New York, home of the 10th Mountain Division and other New York bases, as well as at Walter Reed Military Hospital. She has learned first-hand the challenges facing American combat forces. Hillary passed legislation to track the health status of our troops so that conditions like Gulf War Syndrome would no longer be misdiagnosed. She is an original sponsor of legislation that expanded health benefits to members of the National Guard and Reserves and has been a strong critic of the Administration’s handling of Iraq.
But Hillary has recognized that we can’t ignore our problems at home while we face challenges overseas. She has introduced legislation to tie Congressional salary increases to an increase in the minimum wage, because she believes if America’s working people don’t deserve a raise, neither does Congress. She has supported a variety of middle-class tax cuts, including marriage penalty relief, property tax relief, and reduction in the Alternative Minimum Tax, and supports fiscally responsible pay-as-you-go budget rules. She helped pass legislation that encouraged investment to create jobs in struggling communities through the Renewal Communities program. She has championed legislation to bring broadband Internet access, which is so important in today’s information economy, to rural America.
In the Senate, Hillary has not wavered in her work to expand quality affordable health care to more Americans. She worked to strengthen the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which increased coverage for children in low income and working families. She authored legislation that has been enacted to improve quality and lower the cost of prescription drugs and to protect our food supply from bioterrorism. She sponsored legislation to increase America’s commitment to fighting the global HIV/AIDS crisis, and is now leading the fight for expanded use of information technology in the health care system to decrease administrative costs, lower premiums, and reduce medical errors.
Her strong advocacy for children continues in the Senate. Some of Hillary’s proudest achievements have been her work to ensure the safety of prescription drugs for children, with legislation now included in the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act, and her legislation to help schools address environmental hazards. She has also proposed expanding access to child care. She has passed legislation that will bring more qualified teachers into classrooms and more outstanding principals to lead our schools.
Hillary has been a powerful advocate for women in the Senate. Her commitment to supporting the rights guaranteed in Roe v. Wade and to reducing the number of abortions by reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies was hailed by the New York Times as “frank talk…(and) a promising path.” Hillary is one of the original cosponsors of the Prevention First Act to increase access to family planning. Her fight with the Bush Administration ensured that Plan B, an emergency contraceptive, will be available to millions of American women and will reduce the need for abortions.
Hillary is strongly committed to making sure that every American has the right to vote in fair, accessible, and credible elections. She introduced the Count Every Vote Act of 2005 to ensure better protection of votes and to ensure that every vote is counted.
In 2006, New Yorkers reelected Hillary to the Senate with 67 percent of the vote.
I haven’t heard a word about her ideas of “preconditions”… does this mean meeting at Wendy’s instead of Burger King? If you cannot keep the attention of your own people in this country… then I believe you wouldn’t have a clue about “talks”. My daughter is 14… she understands Obama, I am 42…I understand Obama. That bridges a gap right there! Communication never hurt anybody… unless you scream, put them down and call names. If we don’t try…we never succeed. I’ve seen what-has… I’m going for what-if.
Sherrie. I have absolutely no idea what you said … I can’t even say i I agree or disagree. I believe you might be saying you support Obama.
The blind loyalists from all sides always come out to play on blogs like this. Misinformed, blind sheep who one-issue their support for someone. Everyone who supports Hillary Clinton does so because she’s a female, and they fall for the “experience” line. No Obama supporter really knows why they support him…they just “do”. And anyone who votes for McCain is obviously an unsinkable duck on the side of the Republicans. Bottom line to this: no one really knows jack.
I would love it if our country had a woman president…just not Hillary. Just as Ruth Dwyer was crushed by Howard Dean in Vermont in 2000 for her usage of abusive, media-led mudslinging, Hillary will be crushed in 2008 for her usage of the same types of tactics. People want CHANGE, not mudslinging, and Hillary’s campaign has produced little more than the usual mudbath we get from politicians. While I can’t find a single serious reason to support Obama (perhaps maybe the Cuba issue, but that’s a long shot), I’d vote for him long before I’d vote for Hillary as I can think of hundreds of reasons not to support her. McCain wouldn’t get my vote even if he was uncontested.
I’ll take my “rock star” over “shame to fame” any day.
