Across America Tour, Day 15: Heading to L.A.
by ELV
By Lee Ross
We’re making our way to Los Angeles. This morning as we were checking out of our hotel there were still plenty of people up and moving around from the night before. It really is a 24-7 town. We hit the road headed west and through the Mojave Desert eventually hitting Barstow. There we met a nice couple this week celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary. Tommie Burns says immigration is his big issue and he supported Duncan Hunter. But will vote for John McCain in November. Lots of sun today. A first for this trip. Hooray!!!!

Phil,
I appreciate the fact that you attempted to go across America and get the opinion of “average” voters. What I found interesting however is what you did when you were in Las Vegas(yesterday02/24) you talked to a couple that said they liked Huckabee. You were very dismissive of their opinion, stating that he really had no mathematical chance. He may not have a mathematical chance of gaining all of the delegates, however he has a realistic chance of preventing McCain of getting the 1191 delegates. You must be working for the GOP establishment, along with Hannity as you all try to once again marginalize as you did in Florida the campaign of Governor Huckabee. So much for really being interested in what the average person thinks.
