President Clinton Receives Rock Star Reception
Corpus Christi, TX—
President Bill Clinton was greeted with a rock star like reception at his wife’s headquarters here. Several hundred star-struck supporters packed the small office while about 1,000 more waited outside clamoring to get in.
Clinton spoke briefly before going outside to greet the waiting throng. Screaming supporters mobbed him chanting both, “Hillary! Hillary!” and “Bill! Bill!” The crowd pushed against the secret service for an autograph, picture or even a glimpse of the former President. At one point the police tape holding the crowd back broke and the crowd surged attempting to surround Clinton. Both the secret service and the Corpus Christi cops had to push people back on to the curb.
Clinton made his way around the entire building going back several times to shake more hands. He told the crowd, “Let’s get her elected!”
When speaking inside the headquarters one supporter interrupted screaming, “I love you!” Clinton replied, “I love you. Thank you for making me President. Thank you for sticking with me when I was President.”
When attempting to leave Clinton answered his cell phone lifting it up to the shrieking crowd and then chatting as he climbed in. No word if it was his wife, but whoever it was got an earful of adoring fans.
One member of the press accurately described the scene after extracting herself from the crowd, “That was like Paris Hilton video!” A Clinton staffer explained after I expressed some shock at the overwhelming reception, “Well, he was President. . .twice. “ Good point.

My family and I are republicans and we’re voting for Hillary. She has the (you know whats) to fight for us. Former President Willam Jefferson Clinton deserves this reception. He is the only President in recent history that left this county with a balanced budget, great economy and a hope for future generations that they can have the american dream. The persons that are for the other candidate should have another look at Hillary Clinton because she can and does stand up and deliver on campaign issues. She doesn’t need someone to begin the dialog and then capitalize on their knowledge. Obama on CNN did this. I have watched FoxNews this AM and I wish to thank Cavuto, the anchor person, for his impartiality; and, thank God there is a media that is beginning to question Obama campaign promises to the public. This a country that stands for equality for all. If a woman can be mother, caregiver to the next generation, educator, doctor/nurses, wage earner, and go to war THEN IT SHOULD STAND TO REASON THAT THEY ARE QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT. Forgive the shouting but this issue of who we can trust to be in the oval office in January 2009 is too important not to be passionate. If Barrack Obama is nominated I hope that a third party candidate will emerge that would be a viable. Otherwise, McCain or stay home and not vote. I live by this rule: “to thine own self be true” and “let’s your conscience be your guide and your heart will never be troubled”. Don’t know who said these quotations but my father alway said the later to me and my siblings. We need a President who’s knowledgable, knows the ropes, and knows how to reach out to all americans to initiate change for the betterment of all not the elite. The middle class cannot afford to take on anymore non-family members to provide shelter, food and clothing. Neither should the elite be penalized for their excellent accomplishments. Health Insurance: There have been many occasion that citizens have had health coverage but their insurance will not coverage a medical procedure. Therefore, we need to have a debate to bring about change in the Insurance Industry. As for Obama’s wanting to fine persons that do not and cannot afford health insurance: There are seniors that are unable to work but not old enough to retire that cannot afford transportation, medicines, doctor visits or adequate food. The point I am trying to make is that sure children are our future but the seniors are the ones that made this country great. They worked and paid into the system but because of loop-holes they slip through the cracks. I believe that Hillary Clinton understands the complexities of this issue. Vote for Hillary and Obama groupies stop slandering the Former First Lady. I thought that she won the CNN debate. She was utilized as a prop for the puppet. She has my vote if nominated. If not independent, republican or none at all.

After reading the comments, after I had made mine, I would like to say: “Isn’t it wonderful that we live in a country that you can slander/bash a public official and not be beheaded, hanged, burned or shot?” We all may be passionate about our chosen candidate but that doesn’t give us license to character assination. Let’s all beg to differ and vote for whom we choose. Let’s argue the issues and the solutions that each candidate brings to the table. Let’s take those points and have dialog. Whatever the spounses, may have or may not have done, is immaterial. They are not candidates for President. I personally do not like Michelle Obama, that is my right. You may not like Bill Clinton that is your right. But on one thing you can be assured: they are married to the Democratic candidates (whether we like it or not, which I don’t). But then he isn’t my cup of tea either. You should cast your vote for the person that you deem most likely to bring “Change” (Bill Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Hillary Clinton, etc) that will enable us to balance our budget, end the war, obtain a viable insurance package and create a growing economy (jobs). The former Clintonites, Obama’s senior staffers, sure know how to formulate a campaign; don’t you think? Utilize the campaign strategies and words of the Former President (without his permission I am sure). Obama is original? Don’t think so. If he gets the nomination then Bill Clinton was on the ticket with him.

She stands on the Senate floor to denounce the leader of Kazakhstan (Nursultan Nazarbayev) for his communist human rights violations while her husband brokers a deal for Frank Giustra and receives $31.3 million for his efforts along with pledge for $100 million dollars more.
Loans her campaign $5 million dollars to continue on and when asked about releasing her tax records- states that she will disclose this information if she gets elected.
She touts her claim to 35 years of experience which includes her eight years as First Lady yet refuses to release those records for the American people to see.
She brokers over $341 million dollars of the tax payers money for her earmarks and refuses to divulge any records to show where this money is going.
She agrees to the rules of the DNC to not campaign in Michigan And Florida and that those states will not be awarded any delegates, but once she realizes that plans of sealing up the nomination on 02-05-2008 does she stand up for those voters and demands that she receive those delegates even though her opponents were not even on the ballot in one of those states. (Seems as though if these two states were so important to have their votes count she would have fought for them from the beginning).
She demands to have more debates so the American people can get a better understanding of the candidates and yet she preaches the same old things she had said in the previous eighteen debates.
She preaches to America that if she is elected that she would meet with military leaders to determine the best path to take in bringing home our troops to end the war. How ironic is it that those are the same military leaders who are leading us now including General David Petraeus for which she told him this on September 12,2007 (“Mrs. Clinton told General Petraeus that his progress report on Iraq required “a willing suspension of disbelief.”)
She claims that when she is President she would instill her plan help those having mortgage problems, but just how many of those people will still have their homes when that time comes? If she cared so much she would be introducing legislation now to help all of those in need.
Is Barrack Obama a Negro as defined by United States law? Is he an legitimate son of an american woman and an Arab? Did his father have time to divorce him former wife (or wives) before marrying his mother? Is the junior senator from Illinois an American-Arab-Negro? Has the United States voters been dooped? Is JFK’s brother and daughter endorsing an Arab-American for the presidency? Is some of our Super Deligates endorsing an American-Arab-Negro for President? She is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee, working to see that America’s military has the necessary resources to protect our national security. She has visited troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and at Fort Drum in New York, home of the 10th Mountain Division and other New York bases, as well as at Walter Reed Military Hospital. She has learned first-hand the challenges facing American combat forces.
