Obama Responds to Clinton’s Scolding
Senator Barack Obama defended mailers sent out to Ohio voters last week on Hillary Clinton’s NAFTA and health care records, after Hillary Clinton scolded him for distributing them.
At an impromptu media availability in Columbus, Ohio, today, Mr. Obama called the mailers “accurate” and questioned Clinton’s tactics for her animated display this morning, since, he pointed out, the mailers were days if not weeks old. The frontrunner had not seen his rival’s fiery charges (capped off with a, “Shame on you, Barack Obama.”), but did laugh and say, “I hear it’s exciting.”
Here is what Obama said about the mailers and his response to Clinton’s claim that he pulled a page out of the Karl Rove playbook.

Obama’s media availability was scheduled shortly after a reporter shouted out a question on the issue as the candidate finished up a roundtable forum on healthcare. Walking out of the room, Obama said that the event was not a press conference. While the press filed and grumbled that the last press conference was 5 days before, Senator Obama did a series of interviews, including two with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.
Moments later, staffers announced there would be an avail after all. Obama first recognized the reporter who regularly covers the candidate, with a smile. “I don’t know if I should be rewarding you for shouting out to me,” he said. “I’m just doing my job,” the reporter responded.

Please describe your half-truths? I have evidence that it was ALL truthfull. However, Billary (no surprise) sent factually inaccurate mailers the entire campaign. I see this whole thing, the mailers, the speechwriting thing, etc. as the sounds of a campaign in its death throes. Clinton is just throwing whatever she thinks may distract the voters from the sad fact that she is getting trounced. Romney at least had enough class to put his values and before his personal gains; even if it did his move did strengthen a party I don’t plan on voting for it showed what an honorable person he is. We, the public have seen Ms. Clinton in action for many years now…we know who she is and she is acting true to form. Ms. Clinton is in real danger of losing so now the mudslinging begins and we begin to see her “politics as usual” in earnest now. My God, do we ever need a change!

What an incredible acting job on the part of Hillary Clinton. To pull out a political flier from weeks ago and make it out to be some big deal as if he had claimed she was the illegitimate daughter of *** Nixon or something. What does the flier actually say- not much?
It’s not like he accused her of pimping her daughter in Wisconsin- which she did.
It’s not like he accused her brother of getting paid to get people pardoned by her husband- all of which happened.

SO this little stunt was designed to give her some free air time and get her name in front of the public. That is what this is all about. Using the news media for her own ad campaign!
What’s with Ohio Governor Ted Strickland? On TV he sure looked stupid standing up there shaking his head up and down behind old Hillary as she acted all psycho just because Barack Obama revealed her stance on NAFTA and her pitiful healthcare plan, which absolutely is not in our best interest.
I don’t understand why it is OK for her to point out differences and contrast the two candidates, but then she goes totally berserk and has a nervous break-down when he does it? Thats some more of that Clinton double standard crap of hers. But did you see how mean and nasty she got over this? It kinda reminded me of watching all that phony WWF wrestling stuff when they get in front of the camera and start yelling at each other about a bunch of make-believe stuff.
Hillary thinks that we are deluded because we support Barack, but look at the picture of her making htis speech and you be the judge. It is obvious that she is the deluded one. 1. Senator Clinton in her book stated that she fully “supported NAFTA”, and yet to bring this to light in a mailer….is deceitful (Karl Rove) tactics???? No matter who you are voting for out there I think if you are making negative comments about either candidate……especially Obama you should first research your facts. I Read her book….and so should you.
2. As Senator Obama stated which is a fact that everyone who listens and reads should know that that mailer simply states “her” stance on a universal health care plan!!!
I myself would be taken back if the “facts” in the two mailers were false…..but they are not….again please keep your mouth closed if you do not know the “facts”.
So the issue is not what is written in the two mailers, the issue is that they represent facts that are not looked “highly” upon in a state like Ohio……….

Sinclair Federal Law Suit To Be Dimissed
In late fall of 2007 Lawrence Sinclair approached campaign officials of the Sen.Barack Obama campaign, and told them a very disturbing story. Rob Allen of the Sen. Obama campaign stated. After the meeting had concluded the campaign officials ruled it off, as “just someone trying to make a buck.”
The following week they recieved a phone call, from a man claiming to represent Mr. Sinclair, and demanding $100,000.00 as restitution for his client.
Lawrence Sinclair has filed a federal suit against Barack Obama and others for harassment since the gay man released his video on YouTube.com, a internet web-site for viewing homemade videos, alleging that, the Senator from Illinois and Mr.Sinclair shared oral sex and cocaine in the back of a Mr. Sinclairs limo in Gurnee, IL in 1999.
The Post has learned that presiding Judge Donald Wilson is dismissing the case, due to credibility on Mr.Sinclair. Stating that the complaintant has an extensive record of mischievious conduct. Further more such allegations warrant sound credible standards, which are not found in matters included in this suit.
Lawrence Sinclair was convicted of “fraud” two times and investigated eight times over 25 years, for trying to secure money for “black male” charges. Two of the defendants were political figures in Illinois and Indiana. Mr.Sinclair also has an extensive record of drug convictions. The Washington Post has learned

She stands on the Senate floor to denounce the leader of Kazakhstan (Nursultan Nazarbayev) for his communist human rights violations while her husband brokers a deal for Frank Giustra and receives $31.3 million for his efforts along with pledge for $100 million dollars more.
Loans her campaign $5 million dollars to continue on and when asked about releasing her tax records- states that she will disclose this information if she gets elected.
She touts her claim to 35 years of experience which includes her eight years as First Lady yet refuses to release those records for the American people to see.
She brokers over $341 million dollars of the tax payers money for her earmarks and refuses to divulge any records to show where this money is going.
She agrees to the rules of the DNC to not campaign in Michigan And Florida and that those states will not be awarded any delegates, but once she realizes that plans of sealing up the nomination on 02-05-2008 does she stand up for those voters and demands that she receive those delegates even though her opponents were not even on the ballot in one of those states. (Seems as though if these two states were so important to have their votes count she would have fought for them from the beginning).
She demands to have more debates so the American people can get a better understanding of the candidates and yet she preaches the same old things she had said in the previous eighteen debates.
She preaches to America that if she is elected that she would meet with military leaders to determine the best path to take in bringing home our troops to end the war. How ironic is it that those are the same military leaders who are leading us now including General David Petraeus for which she told him this on September 12,2007 (“Mrs. Clinton told General Petraeus that his progress report on Iraq required “a willing suspension of disbelief.”)
She claims that when she is President she would instill her plan help those having mortgage problems, but just how many of those people will still have their homes when that time comes? If she cared so much she would be introducing legislation now to help all of those in need.

Some of the comments I have read are, obviously, written by Junior High Idiots. Obama does a good enough job talking as long as he sticks to his script that he has used over and over again. Hillary is an eloquent speaker and a proven leader. She cares about our country like nobody has in a very long time and she will work very hard to overcome the mess she will inherit from the Bush Administrtion. Obama wants to make history as the first Black President and that is fine. He has managed to get Black people out to vote who never had an interest in it before and it would be very nice if he wasn’t playing the race card but he obviously has been doing so and some people are falling for it. I think he would make a good President in a few years but he just is not experienced enough nor fast enough on his feet and to fight the fight that will come at the General Election, we need somebody who is strong and certain in their beliefs. Hillary knows this country like the back of her hand. She will make a better leader as far as getting our finances back in order and anybody who doubts that is just not thinking straight. She is a strong Leader and will use diplomacy overseas and at home which is what we need rather than jumping into war before first trying to gain allys who feel as we do and are willing to work with us. The world is too big for us to be acting like “Bubba” Bush and implying we can take any nation single handed. The Iraq war has proven that much.
I hope people think long and hard and especially here in Texas where I live. We should have learned a lesson when George Bush was our Governor but oh no, people voted him as our President not once but twice and look at the God awful mess we are in. Say what you will about the Clintons but we were in a better financial position in the USA than anytime in my lifetime and I am not some young not dried behind the ears youngster. I have been around a long time and witnessed a lot of changes in America. During the Clinton era there was literally “a chicken in every pot” and I would love to see that again plus get our troops back home where they belong. I believe with all my heart that Hillary can accomplish this and I firmly believe that Obama cannot so please search your hearts and souls before you vote and don’t be swayed by other people’s garbage that they only quote from another non thinking person’s garbage. We have some very intelligent people in this country. 233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
112 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These inculded **the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law, **The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law, **The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate, **The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, - became law, **The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.
And let’s not forget some other interesting facts, HRC “mandatory health care ” plan will garnish ones wages in order to pay for it. And the “gap clause” written within the bill, will pass uncollectable funds into tax qualifiers, which means you and me pay for the “gap

He can afford to put radio and television ads on all over every state when his main campaign donations are coming from the middle east.
