From what I was able to see, here is what I gathered... I can't be sure on any of this, but this is what I saw: I am not sure what in-motion satellite system they use, but I believe it may be a BGAN satellite, using satellite phone/IP technology to get a connection to the internet. The encoder/decoder system is from Streambox. It is both hardward and a codec. It translates the video and audio into a small IP stream and is sent to the in-motion satellite system. There is a roofcam that has pan/tilt/zoom. It also has a lipstick camera for Phil Keating in the front seat. For the third camera that is taken outside of the vehicle, I believe they are using a wireless system from RF Central. Once again, from what I could tell, it wireless does the camera video, wireless mic, and wireless IFB for Phil. They can walk within a certain radius of the vehicle. Hope that helps.
