RNC milking McCain NYT story for cash
The Republican National Committee follows the McCain campaign’s lead and sent out a fundraising email to supporters Thursday asking for cash to to “fight back against the mainstream media’s clear liberal bias.” Though there is no mention of McCain himself since Mike Huckabee is still in the race so the RNC has to remain neutral.
Email below:

Dear Friend,
The New York Times has proven once again that the liberal mainstream media will do whatever it takes to put Senator Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in the White House.
From the beginning of Campaign 2008, liberal media pundits have fawned over the Democrat presidential candidates while ignoring their lack of substance on the issues. You can be certain that as the campaign heats up they will continue to mislead voters with their anti-Republican agenda.
Republicans must fight back against the mainstream media’s clear liberal bias — and we need your help to do it.
Please make an urgent secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or $25 to help the RNC get our responsible message of lower taxes, a strong national defense, and limited government past the liberal media filter and directly to the voters.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best Wishes,

I WOULDNT GIVE JOHN MCCAIN 1 DOLLAR==BUT I WOULD EMPTY MY POCKETBOOK FOR MIKE HUCKABEE==WE HAD OUR NEXT REGAN AND FOX NEWS HANNITY AND DEAD FRED LIED AND KILLED HIM FOR GULLANI=AND LOOK AT THIS PIECE OF CRAP WE WOUND UP WITH=IF I WANTED TO VOTE CRAP I WOULD VOTE HILLARY
John McCain is nothing more then an offering to the Democratic Gods since well before the race began the Republican leaders knew there was no chance of retaining the White House. So to make this dog and pony show more viable to the American voters they offer up McCain as their sacrificial lamb for slaughter to portray their support for him when in fact they are looking to groom their candidates for the 2012 race. This will mark the end for McCain’s political career when his chances for re-election to the Senate do not look any brighter as well.
I will not donate anymore money to the Republican Party, even though it’s been my party since Ronald Reagan. I don’t like the way Mitt Romney was treated by the party during the primaries/caucuses. He got no support from party leaders because it wasn’t popular and because someone started this anti-Mormon sentiment. The support came too late in the campaign. I look forward to 2011 when Mitt Romney may decide to run aain. Then, I will donate if the party gives him support from the beginning. Thank you.
I’m glad to see others blogging here for Mike Huckabee. There is still another choice. He’s got a lot of my financial support and is about to get more. FOX NEWS: PLEASE EMBED A REPORTER WITH THE HUCKABEE CAMPAIGN. I would like to hear what he has to say. I also just like the candidate. He is the one who can compete with Obama; Mike has charisma in addition to having great positions on the issues..
Christine,
your right,on in your remarks, but to Ask Fox news to help with support For Mike,is like bumping your head for the second time with out your hard hat….The fox logo is now a steering wheel,or have’nt you noticed the subliminal factor……The likes of Hannity,O Reilly,Gibson Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingrahm, have had their candy taken away from them by the Americans, who voted their heart, and were’nt fooled by the selfish greed of the Fox elite,to put A flip flopping liar, with a fat wallet, who has ties to clear channell,in office, for personal gain…..I’m afraid asking them to eat crow would be too big a mouthful for even these motor mouths….Huckabee makes the most sense for the average American, and would stand apart from the palm greasing.Consequently you therein have the reason for no Huckabee support……This all appies to Rush also….I have to say sadly, that I was taken in by their spiel at one time too,but it won’t happen again….Ypu’ll know them by their fruits, and their fruits will bear their spirit
Mike Huckabee=LEADERSHIP in the white house
McCAIN= Obama in the white house
Obama= Socialism in the White House
Hillary= Bill’s hankey pankey in the white house
