Teamsters Endorse Obama

Today in Austin, Texas, Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa announced the union’s endorsement of Senator Barack Obama. This, of course, means the union will put it’s organizational muscle and 1.4 million members to use to try to help Obama win the Democratic nomination.

Hoffa admitted that John Edwards “probably had the best message for working people,” but, he is also realistic. “Unfortunately, his candidacy never really caught fire,” he added. So then there were two candidates.

Why Obama over Clinton? Well, Hoffa said that Obama has been the only one to talk about renegotiating NAFTA, an issue that is one of the most important to the Teamsters. But while issues like trade, jobs, and health care are certainly important to the Teamsters, so is winning.

“You can’t ignore the fact that he’s won 10 elections in a row. you can’t ignore the fact that he’s playing to basketball arenas, 20,000 people. I mean the guy has really picked up a momentum that is resonating with our members and it’s showing up in the polls.” Hoffa added, “I think
that’s important and that’s the kind of candidate we need in November to run against McCain. We’re going to need a very strong candidate that brings a lot more people in the political process and I think that’s what he’s doing.”

Hoffa was clear to say that he has the “highest regard” for Senator Clinton and “this should not be seen as anything against her.” He insisted he put a call into her, but had not, as of his press avail in Austin, made contact with her.

Check out some of Hoffa’s comments here:

The 1.4 million members of this union will vote for whoever they want. I’m not voting for Obama. We already had an amateur in the Whitehouse.

Barack Obama has made a terrible miscalculation. He was supposed to run a strong second to Hillary and then demand the VP slot. That way, he was sure to come out ahead: if the ticket won, he’d have eight years to prepare for his run at the top job, and if he lost, he’d have a credible case that they would have won if only the order of the ticket was reversed. And if Hillary refused to put him on the ticket, he’d be positioned in the same way Reagan was in 1976 to take advantage of her failure or to wait out her success.

Now, however, he looks like he’s going to win the nomination — and if he loses in the general election, that taints him as a loser. Nixon was able to overcome that stigma, but American political history is littered with perennial also-rans who never quite made it to the top.

I WILL VOTE FOR OBAMA.
We’ve experienced what typical washinton politics has gotten us. As well we have seen where experience has taken us Most of all we have learned we need absolutely no more of either.

Larry Sinclair Files Federal Suit against Obama

Robert Novak Hinted at Sinclair’s Allegations in October

Larry Sinclair has filed a federal suit against Barack Obama and others for harassment since the gay man released his video on YouTube alleging that the Senator from Illinois and Sinclair shared gay sex and cocaine in the back of a limo in Gurnee, IL in 1999.

arry Sinclair’s federal lawsuit against Obama [Click on images to enlarge.]

But don’t expect to see anything in the MSM.

That would mean that they would have to explain why the suit was filed. That would mean that they would have to lift their “black out” of the Sinclair story.

The Larry Sinclair story about Barack Obama continues to get the silent treatment from the MSM.

To us, that is the real story of the affair.

We watched as the MSM judiciously ignored hard cold facts collected in the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter Love Child story by the National Enquirer. It appears that Obama will get the same courtesy.

Now this morning, Big Head DC claims that YouTube, which is owned by Google, has attempted to suppress the popularity of Larry Sinclair’s video allegations about Obama.

As reported in DBKP’s “Obama: Larry Sinclair Claims Gay Sex, Drugs in 1999 with Barack“, Sinclair says in the videos that he used cocaine with Sen. Barack Obama and performed a sex act on him in 1999.

What scandal did the MSM press have no problem getting enthusiastic about last fall?

On the Cafferty File blog tonight, Chris from Birmingham, AL wrote:

“I’m a white male redneck from Birmingham, Alabama who a few weeks ago went to a Catholic church to nominate a black man to be a candidate for president, the first Democrat I had voted for since my 18th birthday when I voted for Michael Dukakis. There’s a window for opportunity at hand for significant changes here in the U.S. and Obama will make history for being the right candidate at the exact right moment.”

That just about sums it up - a testimony from an all-important “democratic base’ blue-collar while male voter - who wants Obama to be our next President. And now Obama is endorsed by the Teamsters? Sorry, Hillary, it’s over! The only demographic you have left is elderly white women, and soon they will leave you, too.

OBAMA ‘ROBBED’ IN NY
By GINGER ADAMS OTIS
February 16, 2008 — Barack Obama’s primary-night results were strikingly underrecorded in several districts around the city - in some cases leaving him with zero votes when, in fact, he had pulled in hundreds, the Board of Elections said yesterday.
Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem’s 94th and other historically black areas - but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the board said.
In some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even closer to defeating Hillary Clinton.
Initial results in the 94th, for example, showed a 141-0 sweep for Hillary Clinton, but the recount changed the tally to 261-136.
As yet, none of the results have been certified, but a ballot-by-ballot canvassing of all voting machines has begun, a board spokesperson said. Many of the mistakes were chalked up to human error — and some Clinton tallies were wrong as well. In several congressional districts she was shown as having received zero votes when in fact she got hundreds, Boe said.
Brooklyn City Councilman Charles Barron called the understated figures “outrageous.”
“I think this is an all-out effort to stop a campaign that is about to make history and render America’s first black president,” he said. “We need some kind of independent or federal agency to investigate this.”icate that she may not even come out the winner - Obama currently has 116 votes to her 118.

It seems to me, people are supporting obama because of his perceived rockstar image over any policies or ability to lead the country…….

As for being able to whip up a crowd with his oratory style. it is obvious that if Obama was truly speaking from the heart during his support rallies he would not need to lift other people’s speeches in their entirety. This is making Obama supporters angry because, at bottom line, they subconsciously feel foolish for being duped into believing every word Obama speaks as if its from the messiah himself. They want to vent this anger by blaming Hillary Clinton and her supporters for Obama’s shortcomings as a presidential nominee.

Without his rhetoric Obama is nothing. With his rhetoric Obama is a plagiarist at best, a power hungry machiavellian charlatan at worst!!!!

However, this race is not about speeches its about policy and who is more likely to do a better job as president for America.

Most Obama supporters cannot actually say what Obama’s policies are. They are dazzled by his constant rhetoric about “change” and “hope” without the faintest idea of how he plans to achieve all he promises to do.

However, for all you Obama supporters out there here is a sample of Obama’s policies from the man himself should he be elected:

Foreign Policy:

During a rally speech regarding homeland security, Obama advocated that America should “send surgical missile strikes into Iran”.

In an interview with the Chicago Tribune newspaper, Obama let slip that he believes America should send troops to Pakistan to search for the Taliban without seeking permission from the Pakistani government first.

Remember, both of these comments regarding foreign policy came from Obama himself!!!

Not only does his view of bombing Iran contradict his purported stance against the Iraq war, but his views on invading Pakistan with troops to look for the Taliban without the permission of the Pakistani Government first breaches all levels of international law and would further destabalise the middle east.

People ask yourself this question before voting: Is this the kind of “change” America needs right now?

I think not!!!!!

Obama wins Democrats Abroad primary
By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer 46 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama won the Democrats Abroad global primary in results announced Thursday, giving him 11 straight victories in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The Illinois senator won the primary in which Democrats living in other countries voted by Internet, mail and in person.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has not won a nominating contest since Super Tuesday, more than two weeks ago.
More than 20,000 U.S. citizens living abroad voted in the primary, which ran from Feb. 5 to Feb. 12. Obama won about 65 percent of the vote, according to results released by the Democrats Abroad, an organization sanctioned by the national party.
Voters living in 164 countries cast votes online, while expatriates voted in person in more than 30 countries, at hotels in Australia and Costa Rica, at a pub in Ireland and at a Starbucks in Thailand. The results took about a week to tabulate as local committees around the globe gathered ballots.
“This really gives Americans an opportunity to participate,” said Christine Schon Marques, the international chair of Democrats Abroad.
There is no comparable primary among Republicans, though the GOP has several contests this weekend in U.S. territories, including party caucuses in Puerto Rico Sunday.
Obama’s win comes just two days after he defeated Clinton in a primary in Wisconsin and caucuses in Hawaii. He leads Clinton 1,351 delegates to 1,262 delegates, not including the 7 delegates yet to be awarded based on the global primary voting results.

Obama is not a doer…He is man full of empty promises, lifted rhetoric and two faced contradictions!!!

Obama allowed his Energy Bill to be watered down to such a degree that it became nothing more than political lip service to a major problem.

He has done nothing apart from release a dumb rap vid on YouTube to appeal to young voters who believe they are voting for the next American Idol and pimping out that trashy “Obama Girl” to make him look like some sort of rockstar….Its pathetic!!!!!!!!!

These Obama supporters are so stupid with their banality of supporting a nominee on the basis of perceived image over substance are the same morons who now, attack and mock the only individual in this Presidential race that has the ability to restore the American economy, provide universal health care for EVERY American and undo all the travesties of the Bush administration regarding foreign policy - Hillary Clinton!!!

This race is not an episode of American Idol…If Obama wins the democratic nomination then the Obama supporters have won nothing…but America will lose EVERYTHING!!!!!!
