Obama says he voted against the Iraq war. However, considering he was not even in the Senate at the time the war started this statement is ridiculous.

Since the war however, Obama has voted TWICE for American soldiers to remain in Iraq…Can someone in the Obama camp please explain to me how this is opposing the war?

Obama is not a doer...He is man full of empty promises, lifted rhetoric and two faced contradictions!!!

Obama allowed his Energy Bill to be watered down to such a degree that it became nothing more than political lip service to a major problem.

He has done nothing apart from release a dumb rap vid on YouTube to appeal to young voters who believe they are voting for the next American Idol and pimping out that trashy "Obama Girl" to make him look like some sort of rockstar....Its pathetic!!!!!!!!!

These Obama supporters are so stupid with their banality of supporting a nominee on the basis of perceived image over substance are the same morons who now, attack and mock the only individual in this Presidential race that has the ability to restore the American economy, provide universal health care for EVERY American and undo all the travesties of the Bush administration regarding foreign policy - Hillary Clinton!!!

This race is not an episode of American Idol...If Obama wins the democratic nomination then the Obama supporters have won nothing...but America will lose EVERYTHING!!!!!

Barrack is modest about his accomplishements. So I thought I'd provide a list. If we can remember 1 share it - especially the Lugar-Obama Act.

the short list categorized:

During the first - 8 - eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced

233 regarding healthcare reform,

125 on poverty and public assistance,

112 crime fighting bills,

97 economic bills,

60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,

21 ethics reform bills,

15 gun control,

6 veterans affairs and many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored

another 427. These included the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law, The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law, The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate, **The 2007 Government

Ethics Bill, - became law, The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.

In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to some who would prefer that this comparison not be made public.

He's not just a talker.

He's a doer.

Pass it on

I could never vote for Obama after actually hearing him talk about how he wants to take the cap off social security taxes and raise income taxes on people who can't even afford to purchase their own home. And then just to add insult to injury he said he wants to fund free education and job training for criminal offenders. Scary when you listen to him. But he has the corportate media behind him, which alone should be a good reason to not vote for someone.

Superdelegate schmoozed by Chelsea, backs Obama

A few weeks ago, 21-year-old Wisconsin superdelegate Jason Rae was taken out to breakfast by Chelsea Clinton in the runup to that state’s Democratic primary.

Two days after the vote, the college junior – who will be the youngest superdelegate at this year’s Democratic National Convention — is undecided no longer: he’s backing Barack Obama.

“The Democratic Party is fortunate to have two very talented individuals running for President this election,” said Rae in a statement released by the Obama campaign Thursday. “It is a difficult choice for anyone, but in the end, the choice for me has become clear. I am proudly supporting Senator Barack Obama.”

He cited Obama’s support from an overwhelming majority of young voters as the major reason for his decision.

The Democratic Party’s roughly 800 superdelegates – who can cast their votes for any candidate they choose, regardless of their state’s primary or caucus results – have been at the center of a fierce lobbying effort by the campaigns of both Barack Obama and Chelsea Clinton’s mother, Hillary Clinton.

Rae, a Marquette University history and political science major, talked political strategy and electability over a half-hour breakfast with the former First Daughter a little more than a week before his state’s February 19 primary.

He said then he had also been called by former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who tried to convince him to vote for Clinton, and by Sen. John Kerry, who urged him to back Obama.

Obama wins Democrats Abroad primary
By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer 46 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama won the Democrats Abroad global primary in results announced Thursday, giving him 11 straight victories in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The Illinois senator won the primary in which Democrats living in other countries voted by Internet, mail and in person.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has not won a nominating contest since Super Tuesday, more than two weeks ago.
More than 20,000 U.S. citizens living abroad voted in the primary, which ran from Feb. 5 to Feb. 12. Obama won about 65 percent of the vote, according to results released by the Democrats Abroad, an organization sanctioned by the national party.
Voters living in 164 countries cast votes online, while expatriates voted in person in more than 30 countries, at hotels in Australia and Costa Rica, at a pub in Ireland and at a Starbucks in Thailand. The results took about a week to tabulate as local committees around the globe gathered ballots.
"This really gives Americans an opportunity to participate," said Christine Schon Marques, the international chair of Democrats Abroad.
There is no comparable primary among Republicans, though the GOP has several contests this weekend in U.S. territories, including party caucuses in Puerto Rico Sunday.
Obama's win comes just two days after he defeated Clinton in a primary in Wisconsin and caucuses in Hawaii. He leads Clinton 1,351 delegates to 1,262 delegates, not including the 7 delegates yet to be awarded based on the global primary voting results.

I have always been proud of America and love my country. Anyone who is 45 years old and says for the first time in her adult life she is proud of her country does not deserve to be first lady of our great nation, shame on her. I could go in front of millions of people as her husband does and wave my hands, talk in a strong voice and look like I know what I'm talking about without telling the country how I'm going to turn it around. I could tell the people we need change and we need a new direction and "Yes we can! " without giving them a plan, without speaking about the issues and how I plan on handling them, anyone with confidence can do that. I for one and I am sure there are many many other people in this country who never even heard of Obama before he decided to run.
My question is how anyone can even consider voting for someone you've never heard of, have no idea what he has ever done, and have no idea what his thoughts are on any issues facing this country.
I THOUGHT WE THE PEOPLE WERE GOING TO VOTE ON A CANDIDATE TO LEAD OUR GREAT COUNTRY FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS, SOMEONE WHO WILL BE ABLE TO PROTECT US, OUR PEOPLE FROM EVER GOING THROUGH ANOTHER 9/11, SOMEONE WHO HAS A PLAN TO MAKE HEALTH CARE AFFORDABLE FOR EVERYONE, TO STRENGTHEN OUR ECONOMY, TO SECURE OUT BOARDERS SO WE KNOW WHO IS IN THIS COUNTRY, but sadly this race has become more like The Acadamy Awards. The face we see on television mostly is only one Obama, who has nothing to say, we get bits and pieces of Hillary who does have somthing to say and McCain even less and he does have somthing to say. I will not be voting for my next president, the media has already choosen for me. How sad. I hope the people open there eyes and smarten up, lets not make the same mistake people of another country years ago made by letting a great speaker with charisma and the ability to brain wash become the leader of America.

CNN- Lou Dobbs; Michelle Obama proclaimed yesterday that for “the first time” in her adult life,” she was proud of America, as she spoke during a rally to support her husband’s presidential bid. My family and friends are AMERICANS and have always been PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY. ANOTHER OBAMA GOOF WHEN THERES NO SCRIPT. OBAMA IS A NO GO FOR ANY PATRIOT OF THIS GREAT NATION.
The first time in her adult life she is proud to be American? What kind of trash is that? I am married to a military man, I have lived all over the world and in all kinds of situations.....never NEVER have I been ashamed or embarrassed to be an American!!!!! There were times when I wasnt espeically proud of some of our leaders...BUT ALWAYS I WAS PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!! Why is she so proud NOW to be an American? Because a black man is running for President? Because she will be in the White House if he wins? Or because for the past 6 months or so her husband has been taking issues from the other candidates and claiming them as his own under the word change? Obama has no issues of his own. Not one idea he has used has been his own. Change..Edwards was talking change long before Obama came up with it...Change..Hillary was talking change last year. What will this guy do, when he has no one to steal a speach or an idea from anymore? He will be come a Democratic George Bush... because he has no idea!! And Michele will be proud.
