Huckabee to be Guest on Post-Writers Strike Saturday Night Live
Plano, TX-
Fox News has learned that Mike Huckabee will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend. It will be the first SNL broadcast after a 16 week break because of the writers strike. He will not be hosting, however; Tina Fey, former SNL write/cast member, and current star of 30 Rock will have the honor.
Huckabee has been a favorite of many late night talk shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Comedy Central’s Colbert Report. Recently, Late Night host Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, and The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart had a mock on-air rumble over who “made” Huckabee. It was a truly hilarious, and indelible moment in late night comedy.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD BECAUSE FOX NEWS HANNITY AND O REILLY KILLED HIM FOR GULLANI====HUCKABEE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THAN REGAN====NOW THE REPUB PARTY IS DEAD==LIKE ME MOST WONT VOTE FOR MCCAIN==WE WILL GET DRUBBED AND IM GLAD MAYBE IN 4 YEARS HUCK ILL BE WAITING
Who really cares?
I agree with Dave. We can thank Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram, and Ann Coulter for this one. How could they execute the true conservative and back the most liberal person within the right wing? It makes no sense!!! Laura Ingram and Ann Coulter backed Mitt Romney because they thought he was the most attractive (typical for women), and Limbaugh and Hannity backed McCain because of name recognition which is a piss poor reason to back someone. Huckabee would have clearly been electable had the talk shows and right wing media stood as his armor bearer!
SkyChimp,
Your comments reflect your lack of knowledge. Limbaugh and Hannity backed McCain?! Don’t make me laugh!
Mike Huckabee is a populist. He may oppose abortion and same gender marriage but his conservative credentials pretty well end there. His tax and economic records are not conservative and his lack of knowledge of foreign policy items is not a good thing. He also has ethics violations and had pretty poor stances on issues such as illegal immigration. He now claims to have changed his tune but I’m not so sure. While at one time I admired his social conservative stances, I have come to realize that he has little more to offer than those. Plus, he seems rather bigoted toward Mormons and I’m not too pleased with that.
