The Across America Tour, Day Nine: Thanks to YOU!
By Lee Ross
A million thanks to each of you — well most of you — who have taken the time to post a message on our blog.
I hope you and all who have taken the time to check it out are enjoying what’s here and will continue to come back as our westward journey continues. An apology to all who have offered us invitations or suggestions on what to see along the way … we don’t get to read what you write as often as we would like. Traveling from town to town doesn’t leave much time for checking out your wonderful comments.
Also, let me use this spot to thank all of good folks at the “048″ group in NY for keeping this site up and running and for getting our words from the road into the blog. Thanks!

It is great to hear unfiltered, unspun, regular voters. Looks like you are eating well and, although working long days, having a trip of a lifetime. Enjoy yourself — don’t eat too many hamburgers. Keep up the great work.

It’s too bad that Phil didn’t talk to some “ordinary” folks when he stopped in Branson, Missouri this morning. He got a group of the local “average millionares.” Phil was “set-up.”
The election advertising tactics of the democrats have turned me against them. I don’t understand how any kind of mudslinging is beneficial. That attitude makes a person not only unprofessional, but sickeningly pathetic. At the same time, the republican candidate is too open. Are we really to believe that he is that open-minded. Puhlease. Where is an honest, kind, tough, cool guy or girl who actually understands national/international politics, is smart enough to speak properly at all times (nucular…..), and realizes that budget is a balance (i.e. can’t promis no taxes or too many)? Enough is enough. Let’s learn to be better. Thanks for reading. E.
