Obama’s Shared Rhetoric, Cont.
More examples are surfacing today of lines that first appeared in speeches by Obama supporter and Massachusetts Gov Deval Patrick — then showed up word for word in an Obama speech months later. This one was first picked up by ABCs Jake Tapper, who also points out some other new examples that pre-date Patrick’s explanation that he’d given Obama some of his lines over the summer.
Check out this YouTube comparison of one Obama speech from November with a speech by Patrick from the summer before, provided by a rival campaign. As a side note, does anyone think this story would have reached the level it has without the prominence of YouTube and the accessibility of internet video in this particular presidential cycle?

OH YEAH THIS IS TRAGIC INDEED. WHAT WAS HE THINKING. I MEAN HE COULD HAVE AT LEAST STARTED WITH YOUNG INTERN’S OR CHEATING ON HIS WIFE. I MEAN SOME PEOPLE HAVE THE GAUL TO DO SOMETHING SO TRIVIAL. YEAH THIS IS HUGH. I HOPE EVERYONE SEE’S THE JOKE. BUT IF YOUR A HILLARY SUPPORTER YOU PROBALY WON’T
If Obama was truly speaking from the heart during his support rallies he would not need to lift other people’s speeches in their entirety. This is making Obama supporters angry because, at bottom line, they subconsciously feel foolish for being duped into believing every word Obama speaks as if its from the messiah himself. They want to vent this anger by blaming Hillary Clinton and her supporters for Obama’s shortcomings as a presidential nominee.
Without his rhetoric Obama is nothing. With his rhetoric Obama is a plagiarist at best, a power hungry machiavellian charlatan at worst!!!!
However, this race is not about speeches its about policy and who is more likely to do a better job as president for America.
Most Obama supporters cannot actually say what Obama’s policies are. They are dazzled by his constant rhetoric about “change” and “hope” without the faintest idea of how he plans to achieve all he promises to do.
However, for all you Obama supporters out there here is a sample of Obama’s policies from the man himself should he be elected:
Foreign Policy:
During a rally speech regarding homeland security, Obama advocated that America should “send surgical missile strikes into Iran”.
In an interview with the Chicago Tribune newspaper, Obama let slip that he believes America should send troops to Pakistan to search for the Taliban without seeking permission from the Pakistani government first.
Remember, both of these comments regarding foreign policy came from Obama himself!!!
Not only does his view of bombing Iran contradict his purported stance against the Iraq war, but his views on invading Pakistan with troops to look for the Taliban without the permission of the Pakistani Government first breaches all levels of international law and would further destabalise the middle east.
People ask yourself this question before voting: Is this the kind of “change” America needs right now?
I think not!!!!!
oh yeah,,,,,,,,,,,,,loosers,,,,,,,,,,,,,
SO Barack is supposed to be the candidate of change? He’s going to be “different”. He demonstrates this by COPYING the words of another politician?
Even better, he COPIES the words of another politician saying “words matter”. Yes they do. And it’s pretty bad when you have to steal someone else’s, in order to show how original you are.
Not only that, but his first (unofficial) attack ad on Hillary was a knock-off of an old Apple computer ad.
How is this change?
The funny part about the clip above is that Deval Patrick delivered the line much smoother than Barack.
Come on….even Obama supporters have to admit….it’s pretty funny and he’s busted. You can ebate whether you think it’s a big deal or not all you want but he has to be embarassed.
The guys a fake (Obama). This will just be the first of many things your going to learn about the new savior. Just wait until he has to actually explain his plans for change. Scary, does Karl Marx come to mind. For those who get it, know explanation is necessary, for those who don’t know explanation is possible.
On Monday February 18, 2008, Hillary Clinton’s campaign accused Barack Obama of “plagiarism” for his remarks of “just words?” and other notable lines from American history, which were similar to a speech used by Deval Patrick, now Massachusetts governor, during his campaign. In fact, Deval Patrick, a good friend and supporter of Obama, suggested these lines to be used in Obama’s speech himself.
It is obvious that this is not plagiarism. It is not only yet another example of false, negative attacks by Hillary Clinton, but also an example of extreme hypocrisy of Clinton herself. This site is not meant to spread false information on Hillary Clinton or any other candidates, and any such information should be removed by the community. Rather, it is meant simply to demonstrate Hillary’s hypocrisy by collaboratively researching the numerous “plagiarisms” of her own.

“Are you ready to take back the White House…”
Hillary said “Are you ready to take back the White House…”, which achieved infamy in 2004 with:
“…and then we’re going to Washington, D.C., to take back the White House! YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHH!” by no other than Howard Dean

That’s not the point. Obama is presenting himself as this fresh, original guy that is new and different and he’s using someone else’s words. Now I am not going to lie. I am not an Obama supporter but there have been many issues where he has been unfairly attacked on these blogs and I have defended him even though I don’t support him. On this one though he looks foolish and it’s embarassing. If he’s not embarassed he should be.
Now is it a kiss of death? No probably not but he has a little egg on his face.
agreed,,,,
The Obama groupies are a perfect example of why many of our founders preferred the electorate to own property…thinking them to be educated, and therefore, judicious when casting their vote.
Many of our candidates today are simply images projected by the media. Obama is the most vivid example of perception rather than substance. He is tall, handsome, and somewhat articulate…but he has no core. He is an empty suit. He is 46 and has no record to speak of. His appeal, for many, is that for a celebrity. Most of his followers are attracted to him for no other reason than he is different…that is so distressing, for I am afraid we may all pay dearly for his lack of experience and leadership.
CIGARETTES
A cigarette burning from the end of a holder became the trademark for Franklin Roosevelt. Warren Harding, who utilized every tobacco product, also found no problem lighting up whenever and wherever the urge struck him.
Howard Taft kicked the cigarette habit after his election as president. Dwight Eisenhower who rolled his own, sustained four packs a day, but quit cold turkey before his presidency. Lyndon Johnson used three packs a day until his heart attack forced an end to the habit.
First Lady Grace Coolidge kept her habit a secret.
Pat Nixon stopped smoking in public during her husband’s congressional campaign of 1946. The ever-adventurous Eleanor Roosevelt began lighting up at White House gatherings however; claiming women had as much right to smoke in public as men. Mamie Eisenhower, Jackie Kennedy, Betty Ford, and Nancy Reagan also smoked cigarettes. Helen Taft smoked in her youth, but quit shortly after her marriage as did Laura Bush.
Way to go Msnbc. If Obama is elected it will be the first time in history that a candidate has been elected by the media.
Like sheep to the slaughter, msnbc has led the multitude to Obama, WITHOUT QUESTIONING his record or anything else he may have done.
Where is the reporting about the lawsuit filed Monday by Larry Sinclair against Obama and his campleaders and the democrat party for intimidation and supression of free speach??
