Clinton Camp Confident on Conference Call

It may be election day in Wisconsin and Hawaii, but the Clinton campaign is focused on Ohio and Texas. In her one morning event in Cleveland, OH, Sen Clinton didn’t once mention the Badger state or Hawaii, both of which have nominating contests today; and the campaign held a conference call to discuss the state of the race in the March 4th states of OH and TX — and had some strong predictions for the results in the two states.

Texas campaign director Ace Smith claimed the campaign would have a ground operation that Texas hasn’t seen in a long time, saying they’d already signed up 100K volunteers and half of the 8300 precinct captains they’d need for the post-primary caucuses in the state (Texas holds both a primary and a caucus, which is open only to those who voted in the primary and awards 35% of the state’s delegates).

He also predicted that the Clinton campaign would “dominate” those caucuses, and was “ceding nothing,” including the youth vote in the state. Obama has tended to perform best among younger, well educated, more affluent voters. Citing large crowds at her TX events, Smith said they’d be able to translate that early enthusiasm into votes.

And in Ohio, state director Robbie Mook said Sen Clinton and her surrogates have been all over the state already, while Obama has only been to Youngstown. The campaign has offices in all 18 congressional districts, and is emphasizing early and absentee voting to get some concrete results before the polls inevitably tighten.

Despite the bold preview, Communications Director Howard Wolfson said Ohio and Texas would be real battlegrounds, and that the Obama campaign would closely contest both states.

But in another sign of strength, Wolfson said the campaign raised $15 million in the first 15 days of February, enough to keep pace with the Obama fundraising juggernaut.

Wolfson also repeated what he called a “Shermanesque” statement on this Politico story citing one anonymous Clinton source as saying the campaign was planning to go after Obama’s pledged delegates at the convention. “We have not, are not, and will not pursue the pledged delegates of Barack Obama,” he saidd. “I think Senator Obama’s campaign owes you all a clear answer to the question of whether or not they will pursue our pledged delegates.”

My goodness Ted! You have been overcome by the Clinton camp DESERATION
All talk hmmmm (I borrowed this BTW)
Let’s take a closer look at who’s really qualified and or who’s really working for the good of all of us in the Senate. Obama or Clinton.

Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term - 6yrs. - and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law - 20 - twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years.
These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress http://www.thomas.loc.gov, but to save you trouble, I’ll post them here for you.
1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.
3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.
5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.
6. Name post office after Jonn A. O’Shea.
7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.
10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.
13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.
14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death.
15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty. Only five of Clinton’s bills are, more substantive.
16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.
17. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11 18. Assist landmine victims in other countries.
19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.
There you have it, the fact’s straight from the Senate Record.
Now, I would post those of Obama’s, but the list is too substantive, so I’ll mainly categorize.

During the first - 8 - eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced

233 regarding healthcare reform,

125 on poverty and public assistance,

112 crime fighting bills,

97 economic bills,

60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,

21 ethics reform bills,

15 gun control,

6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These inculded **the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law, **The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law, **The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate, **The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, - became law, **The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.
In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096.
An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to some who would prefer that this comparison not be made public.
He’s not just a talker.
He’s a doer.

Pass it on….It’s impressive

And this is the same campaign that said that they were confident that Hillary would be the nominee after Super Tuesday and Obama would be dead meat… seriously this “campaign” (if you can call it that) is a joke. Seems to me the only thing that the campaign was ready for was ready to win it without anticipating an Obama comeback. The same thing happened to John McCain: remember, last summer it looked like his campaign was dead in the water… and now he’s the Republican frontrunner.

Hillary will attack Obama in every way possible, even calling him the second coming of Satan just to win the nomination. She doesn’t care about what America wants, she and her family only care about taking what they feel is rightfully theirs, even if it means destroying their own party in the process. Sort of reminds me of Star Wars Episodes I-III where Emperor Palpatine slowly gets into power, destroying the Senate and creating his own Galactic Republic, and I feel that is the case with Hillary Clinton: she’ll destroy her own party and create her own corrupt party with partisan politics. And people want HER for president just because she is a woman? I’d gladly vote for Spongebob Squarepants over Hillary any day of the week.

Go ahead and attack Obama Hillary, you’re just fighting a losing battle. Obama’s already tied you in Texas, and he’s rapidly gaining in Ohio as well. “Ready on day one”, yeah right.

I wish I were registered to vote in Texas and attend the caucuses. It would be sweet to push the race card and gender card right back into Hillary’s face. I am listening to her WI “concession speech.” I don’t buy a word of it, that fake smile doesn’t help either. Too bad she will not have the class to bow out after Texas hands her an 11th straight loss.

Dear Hillary,
Your Orwellian-named ‘Rural Americans for Hillary’ were Monsanto’s lobbyists. Clinton’s former-employer, Rose Law Firm, representing Monsanto, world’s largest GE (GE - genetic engineering) corporation; Tyson, world’s largest meat producer; Walmart, the world’s largest retailer. Rose Law Firm is home to Industrial FOOD.

Rose’s cozy connections: Jon Jacoby, senior at the Stephens Group - one of the largest shareholders of Tyson, Walmart, DP&L - is C.O.B. of DP&L, arranged the Wal-Mart deal. Jackson Stephens from the Stephen s Group staked Walton and financed Tyson. Monsanto bought DP&L. Hilllary, Walmart’s board invited you on and Tyson executives helped you make a $100,000 trade just before Bill’s governorship. Jackson Stephens backed Bill Clinto for Governor, then President (donating $100,000).

Monsanto has manufactured Agent Orange, PCBs, nuclear weapons components, pesticides, and are now tampering with our food.

Here is what occurred with Bill in office:

1. The USDA significantly weakened chicken waste/contamination standards, easing Tyson’s poultry-factory expansion.

2. Monsanto people were put in charge of food, …

3. The FDA okayed Monsanto’s rBGH (bovine growth hormone), the first GE-product ever approved.

4. Despite bovine illness/death, the FDA didn’t recall or warn the public.

5. When dairymen labeled their milk containers ‘rBGH-free,’ the USDA threatened confiscation.

6. Organic food was the last way around this unknown danger. The FDA tried to close that escape route with new ‘organic’ standards, to include: genetic engineering of plants/animals, food irradiation , sewage sludge fertilizer. The USDA backed down from public response 20 times greater than any other issue laid before American food:
OILS: Indian sheep died eating from Bt cotton fields. Our children eat Bt cottonseed oil in peanut butter and cookies.

GRAINS: 49 per cent of corn acreage planted in Bt corn in 2007. A French study indicates it causes kidney and liver toxicity. Monsanto controls the U.S.’s two main crops, soy (90% GMO, 90% of traits ‘belong’ to Monsanto) and corn, the largest crop (60% GMO, nearly 100% Monsanto ‘owned’ traits).

MEAT: Monsanto steroids fatten animals, our fattening children eat steroid-laced meats. The FDA allowed ‘known TSE-positive (Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy Mad Cow Disease) material to be used in pet food, pig, chicken and fish feed.’ Monsanto ’s GE-hormone increases risk sick cows are entering the U.S. food chain.

POULTRY: The USDA weakened waste/contamination standards. Waste from transnational poultry industry is now implicated as the source of bird flu. The poultry industry is using the crisis to push out small farmers.

MILK: Scientific studies indicate Monsanto’s rBGH increases risks of breast cancer by up to seven-fold, increases colon, prostate cancers risks. Canada, 29 European nations, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa ban U.S. rBGH dairy products. Bill’s USFDA put no restrictions, warning labels, or any labels on these foods.

Remember when Bill ran and won based on how Hillary the First Lady was going to “take on” Health Care reform and she FAILED!!!

Hill & Bill already had 8 years to FIX health care and they FAILED!
How many more years does Hillary need to accomplish nothing???
Wake up America and stop the delusional love fest for Hillary!!!

Comment by Kim Carnagey - This is the best comment I have read all day! Let us not forget her 30 years of experience…maybe if she cries again we will all have sympathy. I need a president who is strong…not one who cries because she is under pressure. She sould have cried 10 years ago. I will leave this to your imagination!
