The Across America Tour, Day Eight: Springfield, MO
By Jeff Burton
Phil Keating and the rest of Team America made a stop at Fantastic Caverns near Springfield, MO on Monday afternoon and after taking care of business, we took a little tour ourselves.
I’ve got some vacation coming up and already have plans to join friends on an annual pilgrimage to a 17,000 acre nature preserve. My friends and I head into the BACK woods of Tennessee, just across the Alabama state line, near Sherwood, TN, to an area that is part of the Southeastern Cave Conservancy. Today’s stop at Fantastic Caverns leaves me anxious for that upcoming trip! Phil Keating even learned the difference between stalactites and stalagmites. No, I’m not gonna tell ya if you don’t know — what fun would that be?!
The cavern is fantastic and unlike crawling in over breakdown or through “wet” entrances, on this tour you get to sit back and relax while riding along in a trailer pulled by a jeep! Duck! There are a few places you have to watch your head. Thanks to the property proprietors, Kirk and Marcia Hansen, who made the trip possible!
But the show must go on! And so it will — in Branson, MO, where Team America makes a stop for FOX Report with some “Legends.” Stay tuned!

It’s been interesting “traveling” with you guys over the last couple of days, but alas, I must return to teaching my advanced placement teenagers again tomorrow. Be safe, have fun and do great! Love the segments and the blogs. Fun stuff!
PS) The tunnel scenes remind me of Final Destination 3 (the rollercoaster scene)…um, creepy!
Bye, y’all!

Obama Camp Planting “Fainting Ladies” At His Rallys?
AT six ( so far) different Obama Rallies so far…..there has been a woman front and center of the stage who passes out, and Obama goes into his give-her-some room-here’s-some-water-act.
It’s amazing that all these women are right in front.

Do I need to get a life??? I watch you guys travelling down the highway…we are avid Fox viewers. You ARE fair and balanced. We live near Branson. I have seen the Legends…great show. You are in for a treat…especially if Marilyn Monroe and the Blues Brothers preform. What fun. Brian Kilmeade is a hoot.
Keep up the good work.
