Clinton Camp Accuses Obama of Plagiarism

Barack Obama defended the power of words against Hillary Clinton’s argument that talk is cheap this week, asking a Democratic gathering in Milwaukee, WI if “I have a dream,” or “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” were just words. A good argument — one that had already been used, nearly verbatim, but Massachusetts Gov and Obama supporter Deval Patrick in a speech in 2006.

“‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,’” said Patrick in response to a similar criticism from his GOP opponent in the Governor’s race that year. “Just words?”

On a conference call, Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson said the incident undercuts a fundamental principle on which the Obama campaign is based. “Sen Obama is running on the strength of his rhetoric and the strength of his promises. And as we have seen in the last couple of days, he’s breaking his promises and his rhetoric isn’t his own,” he said.

Obama’s campaign fired back that Sen Clinton tossed out Obama’s signature “Fired Up and Ready to Go” line at an event in Davenport, IA in January (watch it here), and sent out an article arguing that she’s borrowed other candidates’ rhetoric in the past.

Obama embed Bonney Kapp reports that Obama was unapologetic. “Deval and I do trade ideas all the time. He’s occasionally used lines of mine, and I at a JJ dinner in Wisconsin used some words of his,” he said. “I don’t think that’s really the kind of stuff the workers here are concerned about.”

But he did acknowledge that maybe he should have given his friend and supporter credit, saying “I was on the stump and he had suggested we use these lines. I thought they were good lines. I’m sure I should have. Didn’t this time.”

Plagiarism is plagiarism, whether you steal it from a friend or not. Unfortunately, I have found that it is a very difficult concept to teach to my students these days. They don’t get it and they don’t care. In their opinion, if it is on the Web, it is public domain…fair game. The question now is will the media be as tough on Senator Obama as it was on Joe Biden. If not, this will be over and forgotten today. For Obama, no harm, no foul. It is an immature response, however, to rely on the defense “Well, she did it, too.”

Comment by Redwood City CA

How many more unnecessary party fouls must Hillary make? Just drop out of the race, for all of us please.

Comment by J. Daniel

The Clinton Campaign is becoming desperate. They’ve resorted to grasping at straws and hypocritical arguments in order to spark up some miniscule controversy.

Comment by Nawt

I heard Hillary days ago in Texas while speaking to a ” mostly Hispanic crowd” use the chant ” si se puede” ( Yes we can). Now if this isn’t hypocritical what the hell is. Look this race is for PRESIDENT of the United States. Any argument should provide something of substance, not this trivial nonsense.

Actually the Clintons have a legit point for once, plagerism is very serious. People get fired for plagerizing people’s work. We’re not talking about a few words, we’re talking about large portions of speeches.

If Huckabee had done this, the media would be all over him in a heartbeat.

Comment by arthur

If his zealous sheep-like supporters will take one sober moment to reflect, they”ll shake off the spell of demagoguery that Obama has cast, aided by the unquestioning media that fabricated him. Some say he’’s riding on nothing but great oratory. Today we learn it’’s great plagiarized oratory. I”ll go a step further–he’’s a second-rate speaker with meaningless lines that insult our intelligence, who stutters his way through debates and interviews. Great orator? The new JFK?? Talk about audacious! To paraphrase another orator, “this whole thing is the biggest fairytale I”ve ever heard!”

Comment by O. Dumas

The Clinton campaign has been trying to get Sen. Obama to engage in mudding slinging with their attempts to assault his character and his ability. I’m glad he refuses to be drawn into such dirty tactics. Sen. Clinton is simply grasping at straws (oh my I don’t know who to credit that phrase to, maybe I should delete it), since she can’t seem to get ahead on her strength, she trying to find anything she can to tarnish Sen. Obama’s Image. Sad!

I am very disappointed Hillary is bringing up this non-issue - what she should talk about is her statements that “talk is cheap” Are we to believe, when she says she can bring about solutions that it is all talk and no substance. Are we to believe that she has the American people best interest at heart when she can not even show respect for another persons accomplishments. How does she plan on uniting the country when everyday she is giving the RNC the ammunition they need to tear down her opponent? Maybe that is her plan all along. If I can’t have it nobody can.

P.S. I am surprised the news media is running away with this. I guess nothing much is happening on the campaign trail….

Maybe Obama was just stoned on cocaine (his drug of choice according to Larry) and didn’t realize he was copying her speech word for word for everlasting word. Time to worry if we want a Coke head near the big red button for nuclear destruction.

Beware America!! Beware!

It is one thing to be a good orator (especially an orator using someone else’s words–I heard him the other evening evoking the applause lines from everyone from Kennedy to Lincoln but at least he attributed to them) but an orator using someone elses words? We just fired a guy for that.

Beware! Cheaters America Beware!

According to today’s New York Times, Patrick last week GAVE Obama the permission to use these speech lines.

“In a telephone interview on Sunday, Mr. Patrick said that he and Mr. Obama first talked about the attacks from their respective rivals last summer, when Mrs. Clinton was raising questions about Mr. Obama’s experience, and that they discussed them again last week.

“Both men had anticipated that Mr. Obama’s rhetorical strength would provide a point of criticism. Mr. Patrick said he told Mr. Obama that he should respond to the criticism, and he shared language from his campaign with Mr. Obama’s speechwriters.”

It’s not plagiarism if the source tells you to use it. Sorry Hillary.

Wow, the Clinton’s are so desparate!!! Look, I like Hillary fine, but she’s not someone I feel passionate about. I’m not impressed with her resume, or her calculated “hawk” façade and subsequent position on Iraq, or her unwillingness to address her position on Iraq, or her plan to garnish wages so she can claim better health-insurance coverage (that one was pretty bad, you gotta admit), and she actually has less legislative experience than Obama. She’s hated and divisive.

But I don’t knock her in any way, she’s just not my first choice (or second… ) I do absolutely believe if Hillary gets it, McCain is in. I can’t tell you how many democratic and democratic-leaning friends have said they’ll vote cross to the dark side rather than vote for Clinton. Their reasons usually boil down to either the Hate thing, or a variation on the Definition of Insanity theme. I want a fresh start…

Thank you to Obama and his supporters who are mostly young college students, for your believe that this is “non strory.” You if you look closely Obama plagerized and didnt give credit for stealing from another black candidate. Just admit it, guys, your idol is a fake and he never had any substance. I hope the media picks this up because Obama has built himself up by claiming to be original and a movement. You call this a movement? Spellbinding his young voters into believing he is JFK, MLK and FDR. I was going to vote for Obama, but he is as fake as who he rails against. Same old politics, he says are bad for the country but look who is wronging his campaign. Borrowing words from Deval, getting indorsements from Kerry, Kennedy, and the govenator, Arnie’s wife. What a joke. Obama is all shine.

If you got any sense vote for Hillary.

Who cares! I mean really what does it matter? How petty can you get Hillary?! Instead of complaining about him how about telling everyone how you plan on FINING people if they don’t get your socialist health care - regardless whether or not they can AFFORD to get it in the first place.

If she wins the nomination, I will absolutely 100% NOT vote democratic. She’s a disgrace to this party by nit-picking her opponent. Typical Clinton self-righteous behavior. Hasn’t changed and won’t change.

If you fools vote for her, you can watch the government try and totally control your lives (more than now - believe it).

She says she won’t quit until the very end, even if it tarnishes the party - this is very telling! She doesn’t care about anything or anyone but HERSELF. We’ve had too many ego-maniacs in the white house in recent years - including her horney husband.

Hillary - QUIT ALREADY, you are looking like a fool.

The speech was not a coincidence since advisor David Axelrod is on Obama’s team and was on Deval Patrick’s team.

The situation is ironic since both candidates were attacked by their opponents for using “Just Words.”

If Hillary didn’t go on the attack in the first place then this speech would have not been necessary.

Things like this happen all of the time. Alot of Politicos plagiarize.

However in Obama’s case its different since he has been establishing himself as being above the fray. I am not a naive person and I do not hold Obama to be a demagog but he has got to be careful since he is presenting himself as a person who is not part of the same politics. He has set himself to be held at a higher standard. If this happened to other candidates its no big deal since its politics as usual but this involves Obama.

He should have just given Deval the credit and all of this could have been avoided.

Since Deval and Obama exchange ideas I don’t think its as big of a deal that the Clinton campaign is making it out to be.

Today Hillary announces that she wants to co-sponsor Obama’s Bill to Reward Companies that Help American Workers

Hillary and the Clinton campaign are rediculous.

All of the attacks that she and her camp have made on Obama for not having substance and now she wants to co-sponsor a bill authored by Obama. Unbelievable. This makes her look pathetic with her attacks.

A good idea is a good idea no matter who its comming from even if its comes from someone that you frequently disagree with. The attacks are rediculous.

If she is so full of substance then why didn’t she author the bill. If she is so concerned about our economy and jobs going oversees etc. then why didn’t she author this bill. She has served more years in the U.S. senate than Obama yet she never once thought to author a bill like this in all of her years in the senate. What a coincidence, she is running for President and is now concerned about the ecomony so much that she is going to piggy-back on Obama. Polictics in the U.S. is garbage.

We have got to change this garbage

Comment by Lou in Des Moines

IT’S VERY STRANGE Hillary would bring this up considering the controversy over her “It Takes a Village” book when it came out in 1996. According to its publisher Simon & Schuster, the book was actually written by ghostwriter Barbara Feinman, who conducted a series of interviews with Clinton. She was paid $120,000 for her work. However, Feinman was not mentioned ANYWHERE in the book. And incredibly, on her promo tour Clinton said, “I actually wrote the book…I had to write my own book because I want to stand by every word.” (NYT 1-14-96)

Feinman complained at the time to “Capitol Style” magazine over the lack of acknowledgment. In 2001, The Wall Street Journal reported that “New York literary circles are buzzing with vitriol over Sen. Clinton’s refusal…to share credit with any writer who helps on her book.”

THAT’S plagiarism, Hillary - not slipping a friend’s ideas into a speech at the friend’s encouragement. You know what they say about people who live in glass houses…

Niether Obama or Clinton have the necessary credentials to run this great nation, just try to name one positive thing that either of them have accomplished in their very short terms as junior senators.. I dare you!!! their terms have been spent running for pres. and touting their qualifications.. of which there are none… Where is a third part candidate when america needs one.

Comment by Jill

Thank you Lou is Des Moines, I was trying to think of that episode involving Hillary.

But like the Clintons always believe, they can do whatever they want and are not held to the same standards as everyone else. The rules don’t apply to them, just everyone else and they believe it’s their duty to point it out to everyone. Hypocrits.

Watch the Clinton Chronicles. Read “The Truth about HIllary” and the one by Dick Morris (who was a Clinton advisor)….you won’t ever vote for a Clinton again. They think they are ABOVE EVERYONE.

This is much bigger news on the ABC News site. Lot’s of people on from Massachusetts. They say the reason they didn’t vote for Obama was because of the similarities between him and Patrick. Patrick ran on the same theme: Change and Unity. He also used a lot of pretty words, little substance & was a branded candidate by Axelrod. Now everybody is sorry they voted for him and calling him a bumbling naive idiot.

Not exactly. Rasmussen has her up in Texas by 16% and Insider Advantage by 7%. CNN is the only one that has it even close in Texas and they have been terribly inaccurate in the primaries so far with an average margin of error of 12.67%. In Ohio she is up by 17% according to Survey USA, 21% by Quinnipiac, and 14% by Rasmussen. There’s a couple weeks so those numbers could change but right now the rumors of her demise may be a little overstated. She is certainly under the gun but March 4th should be a very good day for her and the reality is “winning a state” really means nothing for the Democrats since they assign delegates proportionally. All she has to do is keep close in other races.

I’d say she’s got plenty of life in her yet and if she can get more help from the Superdelegates she could still win this.

Americans can’t stop talking about Obama–and that’s a good thing. But people need to be talking about the crucial topics that matter.
Non sequitur notwithstanding to the New Orleans title (there’s way too many posts on the other “plagiarism” blog), I wish to address the plagiarism debate.

Similar to President Bill Clinton comparing Obama’s win in SC to Jesse Jackson’s win there in ‘84 and ‘88, the Clinton camp now says that Barack Obama stole an oratory recipe from Massachussetts Gov. Duvall Patrick, Obama friend and supporter. It either suggests that in order for Obama to be the new Pied Piper he has to somehow borrow from another successful politician. Despite the fact that Obama won two previous freshman political campaigns in ‘96 and ‘04. If memory serves, Patrick wasn’t elected till ‘06 as Governor… matter-of-factly, the speech in question was from ‘06 too. It’s almost as if the Clinton camp is saying to me “don’ t vote Clinton because she’s the best candidate; rather, vote against Obama because we’ve exposed him.” Clinton-Wolfson’s argument has little merit for several reasons.
In no particular order:

1) Politicians borrow and steal from one another all the time. Politicians also borrow famous coinages from celebs and sports figures– like the one “we didn’t lose… the clock just ran out”. Not plagiarism, but Mike Huckabee was asked by a famous musician to stop playing a song the rocker had co-wrote decades ago.
2) Duval Patrick and Barack Obama are amigos and actually support each other in politics. They trade thoughts and ideas over time.
3) Should anti-Obamacists be excited because Patrick and Obama are contemporaries? They both quoted from King, Roosevelt, and Kennedy. Does that make it okay, that these were public domain quotes?
4) Both McCain and Clinton borrowed “Yes We Can” from Obama for effect. Obama borrowed “Yes We Can” and “Si Se Puede” from Cesar Chavez.
5) As a poet and writer (among other things) I borrow from people with my own twist but I exceed the safety standards on originality. Because I am opinionated, I borrow and steal from myself to get “my” point across. I’m gonna copy + paste this comment to another blog because I don’t feel I should have to re-type it. Is someone gonna call me out on that?
6) At worst it was a quote inside a quote, a speech inside a speech. Patrick used two or three familiar quotes in his speech.
7) Most importantly, I agree that it was the right thing to say at the time. Both Patrick and Obama faced similar criticism. Who cares from whence it came. “Desperate times might call for desperate measures”, I say to Obama critics.

BTW I am an Independent voter and will be voting for Obama ‘08 because I like his resume’ and his ideas.

YES WE PUEDE!!

Well. Who stole the main subject of the campaign. CHANGE.

Remember, right after Obama’s win in IW, Clinton started using the word change over and over again. She have stolen words like “Fired-up” and “Ready-to-go”. She have stolen speech methods, she have stolen references to community leaders and organizers. She pretty-much stolen the whole campaign themes from Obama.

“carol,,,,,,,,,,,,right u r ,,,,,,exactly my point”

white, are you trying to take credit for Carol’s point? Funny, considering how I don’t see you making any points at all, let alone making sense to begin with… Hmmm… Isn’t that a form of plagiarism? So what if you get bashed much? Maybe it’s deserved if above garbage is a prime example of your typical contribution to a discussion.

As for plagiarism itself, meh… I’m more concerned about how Obama proceeded to explain himself and accounted for it. Seems pretty transparent to me, acknowledged the mistake for what it was, and Patrick’s got his back on it too. Nothing more, nothing less than it ought to have been. Good on Clinton for catching it, too… or was it?

Probably not. Now I’d like to hear more about Clinton’s ghost writer, Barbara Feinman, and see what Hillary thinks about giving credit where credit is due — thanks for the head’s up, Lou in Des Moines!

Wow, Hillary *really* needs some better material. Is this really the best the Clintons can do? Just because Hillary’s speeches put fish to sleep, and Obama’s bring thousands to their feet, does not mean she should self-lament in such a desperate pathetic fashion.

I find it disturbing that the mainstream media is supporting Clinton’s smear on this one. No one (in the interest of fair and balanced) Has pointed out Clinton herself has been borrowing from Obama in her speeches ever since he moved ahead of her in the delegate count. I recall watching a speech the other night where she tried to steal Obama’s ‘Yes we can’ with a sad, and not very well received ‘Yes we will’.

Comment by Marie

I hate that most of you losers who think that this is story can’t even SPELL the word “plagiarism.” Hillary Clinton has “borrowed” lines from Obama, Jimmy Carter, and, yes, Bill Clinton. She will never win the presidency.

Comment by Paige Spencer

These comments calling Obama a crackhead are ridiculous and racist. George W Bush was an admitted alcoholic and did a LOT of coke, all of that is public knowledge. Obama engaged in some youthful drugexperimentation just like a huge number of Americans have- you have no idea what that goody-two-shoes next to you in Church did during their crazy years.

So ..
enough of the crackhead comments,
enough of people insisting on calling him Barack Hussein Obama …
as if that means anything, its an enormously common name, he is half Kenyan, a Muslim country, just like a good many countries are and more than more than 1.5 billion people around the world, the vast majority of whom are humble and good people just like the rest of us… Hussein is about as common as the name ‘Smith’ around the world. It means nothing to call him that and I’m ashamed at people trying to use that as some negative thing, as if it means SOMETHING at ALL.

Talk about lack of substance.

Also, I’m 20, and I’m tired of my youthfulness referred to as if it’s an idiot stamp in these comments. The current administration and many politicians both Democrat and Republican, old people, voted into office by old people, have committed atrocities and shamefully moralless actions.. I doubt 20 year olds could even get it any worse.

Comment by Daniel

I am a Republican by choice…my wife is a Democrat and we have different views concerning the war in Irag, and taxes….She works in the health care industry and stated that when Hillary pushed for some changes in health care reform back in the early ’90’s it made things more difficult (more paperwork) that didn’t amount to a Hill of beans….also, she said when Billy boy was caught fooling around again, she lost respect for Hillary simply because she didn’t dump the man…Hillary should of gone out on her own and she could have earned many women’s respect…but it all comes down to the POWER!

It’s all about POWER….

I myself am a Bush supporter, simply because he is a man of his word…when he says he is going to do something, he doesn’t check with the polls to see if it is popular and flip flop as others do….

If a Democrat does get elected I would vote for Obama before I would Hillary….It not because she is a woman and he a man, but because of character…He has it, she does not….an he has the gift of leading the country….(inspiration)

Senator McCain is too old for this country and needs to go out to pasture…I like him, but his age is an issue and he does not have the confidence of the country as a whole…

Comment by Old Dominion State

Senator Obama — In your speech on Super Tuesday, perhaps by coincidence, you used key phrases from a 1984 speech by Jesse Jackson (“Our time has come. Our time has come” DNC), a poem by June Jordan (“we are the ones we have been waiting for” — “Poem for South African Women”), and a song by Norman Hutchins (“a change is coming”) – but you did not credit any of them for the key lines in your speech. Isn’t this the kind of speechwriting that doomed Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in the 1980s, and why should your speeches be held to a different standard?

Comment by Michelle

This is absolutely ridiculous! Of all the things to be worried and arguing over, Hillary has decided to call Obama out on plagerism??? Ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black? oops, I better cite that colloquism–as I did not think of that myself…

Well, let’s see here…If he had permission from Gov. Patrick to use part of the [Gov. Patrick] speech, is it still plagerism? So, I take it that none of us, including Hillary, has ever used the
word(s) of another when making a point, writing a paper, etc.–if we did, then we made sure to CITE EVERY thought, sentence, phrase, etc that wasn’t our own. Yeah, right! So what if he brainstorms with other politicians in order to make his case stronger…That’s what intelligent people do. They align themselves with others like themselves…

I think about all the people who voted for George W. Bush to serve a second term and he by far is the least intelligent president who EVER sat in the Oval Office. You know someone has to write his speeches in their entirety. Is that plagerism or just not smart enough to do it myself. OMG!!!!

Did she get permission from Obama to use “Fired up and ready to go”? Oh, maybe Barack plagerized this phrase that he got from a supporter in South Carolina. Hmm. The Clintons will stop at nothing…Bill is smacking people in the face, Hillary’s campaign is scrutinizing every word that comes out of Barack’s mouth…People please. As Spike Lee would say (notice that I am giving him credit so that I am not accused of plagerism) Do the Right Thing–VOTE FOR OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a speech Michelle Obama gave she said that, Folks said nobody will vote for a person with a funny name like Barack Obama. This is another rip off from another friend of Obama’s; he said the same thing when he was running for office, except he used his own name.

“Just goes to show folks”, (as Michelle OBama is always saying); You can’t judge a book by it’s words….uh cover.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend President Clinton’s stop in Steubenville Ohio. Mr. Clinton effectively shared Hillary’s views on so many topics that touch all Americans. It is evident that Hillary does not just recognize the issues but she has real ideas of how to approach them. I believe anyone can identify issues ,but strategy in dealing with them is a whole other scenario. I hope that our voters will look beyond the surface and take time to see the facts. Hillary’s stance appears pretty solid to me! Thanks for coming to Ohio!

Clinton is desperate. This is ridiculous. Obama’s and Patrick’s references to famous speeches of the past is a simple concept. My mother said almost exactly the same thing to me a day or two before Obama’s first public reference to it, and I’m certain she wasn’t getting it from either of them.

Comment by JK

Hey Paul - just wait until Obama gets going in Ohio.

Ahem - I also want to accuse Obama of plaguerism. I have heard him say ‘well, you know’, and ‘I was just thinking about this the other day’. I SAID THOSE THINGS FIRST!

I think I’ve also heard him say ‘Believe it or not’ - an insult to Mr Ripley and the singer of the theme song from the Greatest American Hero.

This accusation from the Clinton camp is P to the A to the T to the H to the E to the T to the I to the C.

Comment by Lerner Edison

Everyone on this page is acting like the politicians in Washington. Calling each other names, and etc.
Yes I believe the Clinton’s want a victory but victories come when you do things the right way, not acting like a child by pointing out every little thing. I am a strong Republican from the south, but I am an American first. What right is right, and what is wrong is wrong!

Comment by JK

PS. And that is the opinion from an academic who works where plaguerism is taken seriously.

Quoting the most famous speeches given by major figures in American History (”I have a dream” “We have nothing to fear….” ) is hardly plagiarism. So Clinton is trying to say that “just words?” is plagiarism? How about when she tried to coopt Obama’s change theme by talking about change– was that plagiarism? Obama is being more than gracious. As a professor who serves on a grade appeal committee, this accusation would probably not even be heard.

To Chris who never had an original idea of his own (just paraphrasing what other idiots are saying):

Mr. Obama is just citing others who have given him the inspiration for his passion. Who is inspiring you to be an idiot?) Mr. Obama found other great people who shares his beliefs and opinions about statesmanship and uses those quotations to UNDERSCORE his own beliefs and opinion.

It is perfectly alright to use THIRD PARTY quotations and illustrations to get your OWN points across. Mr. Obama is just using the quotations of other people to let people know that other persons have come to the same conclusions as he has come to. If no one repeats a Martin Luther King, a Robert Kennedy, or a John Fitzgerald Kennedy, those things that they said will have DIED with them and lost on a country that apparently STILL needs to HEAR them.

GO HILLARY !!!!
Finally - the media is reporting a negative comment about baby Obama!!!!
Clinton can and will win the nomination - she is by far the best candidate in experience, health plans, economy, war issues, etc., etc., etc.
Obama is all talk - and not even his own words!!!! The longer this race goes, the more we find out the facts about this talking suit that people seem to follow for no real reason!!

GO HILLARY!!!

Wow, She is trying to make sure that if she does not get the nomination then no democrat will be president. How pathetic..

As long as the Clinton attack machine has Obama responding to their charges, they won’t have to answer any questions about their own scandals, and lies. They are really quite good at it aren’t they? The only problem is, it is just about the only thing they are good at, along with manipulating the media, and spinning like a top. Obama has more class, and more character, than the two of them combined.

It would be laughable if wasn’t so silly. Where is the plagiarism? These phrases have long become part of the American political lexicon. Team Hillary you can use them too, don’t worry. It is NOT a big deal. I thought there was some lengthy excerpt from some seminal speech. I gues the media and Team Clinton have nothing newsworthy to report. Even a kindergarten child can put those phrases together. Plagiarism is serious staff. Quoting somebody who quoted Harry Truman is no plagiarism. Quoting an MLK I have dream snippet is not plagiarism. It is pointless. Everybody uses these words all the time. We will keep saying this: Obama has won the oratory debate, hands down. The rest is just sour grapes on the part the losing Team Clinton. Obama stay on messages don’t wasting your time on those hapless sour losers talking about plagarism.

What is there to attribute to who ? How do even work that into a stump speech ? It is one of ridiculous pieces of news I have ever read in this campaign. It is a non story. Poor Hillary this is all these guys can do for you for those millions. No wonder the campaign went broke.

C’mon people — Obama has stolen his platform and his speeches from JFK, Martin Luther King books and now Governor Patrick. Thats all he is, a copy cat fairytale preacher. Thats also why he won’t debate with Hillary, he can’t look up his answers in a book. He has also stolen Hillary’s Health care and Economy plans and now calls it his own. Please…

And, just when Obama thought he slid through the Rezko corruption scandal, this video comes out by Larry Sinclair about Obamas crack and sexual encounters- People need to start questioning Obama, before we make a fatal mistake!

You can all talk real big about what plagiarism is or isn’t but you try that shiat in College and see how fast you get booted out the front door!! Any intelligent person will tell you that plagiarism is a dirty word, combined with the fact that a lazy, unintelligent person is standing behind those words. Stop making excuses for him, if this was Hillary that got busted it would be a whole different story with you Obama worshipers.

Why is it always okay to scrutinize everything the Clinton’s say, but no one criticizes what the Obama’s say or do. Obama is not using his own words for his speeches but tried to pass them off as his own. This is a form of dishonesty and people want to vote for him as President of the USA. No way. Michelle Obama’s words saying “If Hillary can’t keep her own home clean how can she keep the White House clean.” She was attacking the Clinton’s personal life which is not becoming to a prospective First Lady.Never will I vote for Obama.

It doesnt matter. The fact is he passed off someone’s work as his own. Its plagiarism, its cheating.

Try submitting your best friend’s essay in school… its still cheating even if your friend gives you permission. Thta’s why your mommy cant write your essays for you.

You cant pass off someone’s work as your own. period.

CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS CHEATERS

I wonder what else is Obama lying about?

When Slick Willie occuppied the White House, he was accused of approving a tax hike that was excessive. During one of his State of the Union speeches, he did a rollback by stating, “You know, a lot of people felt that my tax increase was excessive. Do you know something, I do too.” (The only reaction that the discontents could say is “See! I told you so.” What else could they say? End of discussion.
On Hillary’s attack on Obama’s using phrases that at first looked like plagerism, Obama replied, “Yeh! I supposed I should have asked him.” End of discussion. Subject changed. Slick Willie and Slick Obama play the same game; now I suppose that Hillary is going to accuse Obama of plagerizing Slick Willie, too. End of discussion.

Hillary better stop throwing rocks while she lives in a glass house. Has everyone forgotten that she plagiarized her book “It Takes a Village”. She didn’t write that book and doesn’t credit the real author.
