What is worse? A Democrat that is all talk or one that will actually try to do what they propose? What is a socialist idealist??? I guess this vote gets squandered on McCain. At least that way the real damage can't be done, but it will be four more years of drinking stagnant water in the desert of this political wasteland of non-candidates.

Hey Obamities - We on the right side of the aisle (note - McCain is not there with the rest of us - he's too busy hanging out with Teddy K and Russ Feingold) do not like to place peole in identity groups. We believe that every individual has a unique identity and thus we don't categorize people with tags (African-American, Hispanic-American, Native-American). We believe in individualism, self-responsibility, and a divine nature of the individuals spirit. I would have no problem supporting a candidate of another skin tone than myself. I personally think that JC Watts would make an outstanding president. I think the people of MD made a huge mistake when they refused to elect Mike Steele as their governor, and locally here in TN we have a radio host who would also make a fantastic public servant - Hallerin Hill. I challenge you to quit throwing around the race card every time we don't agree with one of your candidates. We had to put up with that nationally here in TN when we said "NO" to Harold Ford Jr as a Senator. We did not agree with his liberal voting record in House and decided to elect the more conservative Bob Corker. I am tired of the sensationalism that the media and those of you on the left place on a racism that, although it still exists, is not nearly as prevalent as portrayed.

Hey McCainies - your candidate is a closet liberal that I along with many other conservatives will refuse to back in November. I for one will likely be writing in Santorum/Watts in November and I encourage conservatives like me to unite with me in this write-in campaign.

Santorum/Watts or Watts/Santorum 08' - Join me in the Write-in Campaign.

Hey Mark,
Someone said: “Obama might have had another one of those “dreams”, however, it would probably more appropriately be described by many people as a nightmare.”

you said: "Did you come up with that all by yourself? Sweet."

I say: Not a real hard stretch Mark. Yes. Nightmare. Since Obama can never beat McCain in an election, that means we'd be stuck with McCain. Nightmare. Easily.

Someone said: “Also, to date his [Obama's] approach has been to steal ideas from great people, which is characteristic of people who are trying to BS their way thru life..”

you said: "Like Hillary claiming that she is a “change agent”, telling her crowd that she’s “fired up”, and her penchant for saying “yes I am”? Talk about BS’ing her way through life.."

I say: Using an expression like "fired up" or "Yes I can" are pretty common phrases, Mark. BK burgers did not steal their ideas from the presidential speeches over the past. There is a difference in using a phrase and stealing concepts of a campaign. Duh.

Someone said: “I want someone that is proven and tested; I don’t want to have to give another learners permit to the next President.”

you said: "I also don’t want a president who is 109 years old, or voted to authorize a clusterphuck without reading the NIE. That’s just me."

I say: Guess what Mark. We already have that guy. He is our President.

Someone said: “I believe there was a guy a few years ago that said, “Don’t ask what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country”. P.S. And that was not A Dream.”

you said: ..and to think that Obama can’t be the same type of leader, without being born with the gift of clairvoyance - makes you look like a pair of clown shoes.

I say: I really have no fu**in idea what that means Mark, but I am pretty sure Kennedy was not clairvoyant, and regardless, Obama is no kinda Kennedy. Not even sorta kinda, with or without clairvoyance and clown shoes.

Someone said: “President Hussein Obama”

  you said: *Douchebag Alert!*

I say: Denial Alert!!

Someone said: “What are obama’s credentials?( other than his plublic speaking skills.( might i add are superb.)”
Someone also said: “Obama took his campaign platform and speeches from JFK’s books — How origninal!! He is nothing but hot air and false promises!”

You said: "He has a thing called a “website” that are full of his political positions, tailor made for the intellectually lazy"
then you also said: "...Although the man’s website, and something called “facts” openly feels that you are full of crap."

I say: Hey Mark. News flash. Having a website does not = "credentials"
I also say: Gosh, if it's on "the man's" website, it must be facts. After all, you can't have a website with anything but true facts on it. Everyone knows that. Maybe I should run for President. I look good walking back and forth across a stage, AND I have a website!

You said: Come on cowards, give me something that I won’t mercilessly backhand

I say: Consider yourself backhanded. When it wears off, wake up and smell the coffee.

Wow, the amount of racist comments against Barack Obama is sickening. I will be voting for Obama because I am tired of all the racism in America. Only Obama can stop the bleeding of our nation
..........After searching through all the posts for hours, I can not find racist comments here about Obama. Maybe comments about his inexperience, Muslim ties and questionable positions, but no racism. I do find it interesting, though, that you seem to think so, and furthermore will vote for him as a result. It is you and those like you who create racism. Racism would be well defined by voting for an individual because they are black.

Dear Joy. You said " I am voting with my conscience. I’ve researched both candidates (and Edwards, actually) to the point of OCD. I think the inexperience “unvetted” argument is bogus,"
                                                              ------------------------------------
Please go read my post about how no one noticed that during one of the last Dem Presidential Debates, Hillary informed the panel and the Nation, that George W. Bush is currently attempting to take the necessary steps to assure that the war continues, outside of the authority of the newly elected President. She openly asks, on national live television, for Obama to join her in stopping him. This alone should scare people, (even though I have posted this info everywhere possible, no one seems to notice. Hellooo)) but for you, the point is the "Gee, I did not know that" look on Obama's face as he wholeheartedly agrees to help her stop him. (*Read the Rest) Obama is a great guy, I'm sure, but let's face it..he is new. He will be absolutely obliterated in a race against McCain. (That's why the backdoor media campaigns are trying to make Obama look so good right now..they know Hillary will be a tougher nut to crack in the election.) That would mean, of course, another dreaded term of Republican leadership. Not good. Think about it. Can you honestly say that things have been good lately? Iif you CAN say that, you are amongst the filthy rich and corporation owners who thinks things are great as long as the money keeps rollin' in) America is in the biggest crack it ever has been. If you want to see us out of that crack any time in our lifetimes, you better vote for Hillary.

To Joy,

I have never seen anything like the “Hate Hillary” fad we are currently witnessing. Yet, despite the defections of Hillary’s former (Black) supporting delegates, despite the nationwide groundswell in Obama praising and Hillary bashing, from both sides of the mainstream media and the blogosphere, despite all the anti-Hillary slogans emanating from celebrities interviewed by left- and right-leaning media, despite all that Obama has going for him, Hillary is still hanging in there. If she still manages to come out in front again or even lands anywhere near the front against such monumental opposition and sensationalistic propaganda, it is because she must truly have the strength and qualities asked for by the real arbiter in this contest, namely our silent majority unimpressed by all the hysterical hoopla.

Harry,

I understand the impulse to go this way when the rest of the nation is going that way. I think the fears you have about media distortion (from O'Reilly and the like) in the general election have some validity, but the bottom line, voting based on fear hasn't worked out too swell for America the past few years. I am voting with my conscience. I've researched both candidates (and Edwards, actually) to the point of OCD. I think the inexperience "unvetted" argument is bogus, which is why Clinton has now switched to attacking his rhetorical skill and attacking lines given to Obama by a senior campaign advisor. While we are talking about the doom and gloom and s**tstorm that is about to rain down on the naive, Senator, let's remember the actual numbers of Dems showing up to vote vs. Repubs., and who is ahead in delegates, states, and popular votes (in both parties!)

Case in point: in Virginia, where I used to live and suffered through the 2000 "election" (we'll call it that)-- there was no way that a Presidential Dem candidate could have made a dent in the overwhelming Republican voting polity in Virginia at that time. TIMES HAVE CHANGED. Barack Obama garnered 140,000 more votes than John McCain and Mike Huckabee combined. This is just one example. Look up the numbers of voters in these primaries. And don't tell me that it's only because it's a primary. When the party is booing its presumptive nominee at a conservative party event and the candidate who has no numerical possibility of winning the nomination is still winning states, then there is a problem, to say nothing about their nominee's campaign organization, sanity/appeal, and attachment to the policies of the current administration.

Again. I try to be balanced, and appreciate that most of Democrats want the same things, but this latest manoeuver has me off the Clintons for good.

Joy, I see that you belong to the Hate Hillary Club, along with all the mainstream media, left or right. I understand that Bill O'Reilly will consider it his duty to bash Hillary and the Dems in general, but now even Dems like Bill Maher are knocking her and praising Obama. Why? I am personally getting sick of seeing Obama walking back and forth with his rhetoric and being touted as a great man by the media and the blogosphere, and Hillary being attacked by all.
Consider carefully which Democratic nominee will be facing McCain.
If it's Obama vs. McCain. Remember that most Republicans will vote Republican and most Dems will vote Democrat, but many independent or flip-flopping Americans will vote in terms of popularity and the image of the candidate. Across America, die-hard traditional Americans will vote for McCain. The Republicans know this and their strategy is to tout Obama and bash Hillary, hoping he gets the nomination and not Hillary who they fear the most.
If it's Hillary vs. McCain, the Dems have a better chance of winning, explaining why even O'Reilly has nothing but kind words for Obama and nasty invectives for Hillary.
We mustn’t forget that the negative image of Hillary and the Hate Hillary propaganda being built by the media is not shared by the people of America.
Joy, I see that you belong to the Hate Hillary Club, along with all the mainstream media, left or right. I understand that Bill O’Reilly will consider it his duty to bash Hillary and the Dems in general, but now even Dems like Bill Maher are knocking her and praising Obama. Why? I am personally getting sick of seeing Obama walking back and forth with his rhetoric and being touted as a great man by the media and the blogosphere, and Hillary being attacked by all.
Consider carefully which Democratic nominee will be facing McCain.
