Across America Tour, Day One Wrap-Up
Here’s a picture from the Primanti Brothers Reataurant:

What a fun rest of the day. We stopped off in Shanksville and Latrobe, PA for the afternoon. As is often the case we had some reports ready to go but because of breaking news couldn’t get on air. The Latrobe Specialty Steel mill was most impressive. We learned the 95 year old factory make products for the defense and air industries. The tail-hooks on aircraft carriers are made here!

Then it was off to Pittsburgh where even the bitter cold temperature couldn’t hide the fact that this is a city with a lot of character. We made it to the market square of downtown and hung out at the Primanti Brothers restaurant for a while. I also spotted an outdoor skating rink. Would very much like to return when the weather is a bit nicer. Off to Ohio tomorrow.
Check out some photos from Breezewood, P.A.
