BE CAREFUL WITH SHELBY…..She says a lot of bad about Huckabee and then GOOD… She wants Republican to divide and argue and hate each other using her dirty tricks…Said a lot of false accusation about Huckabee and then take it back. So PEOPLE watch what she said and her BLOGS!!! I THINK SHE IS A DEMOCRATS!! Too bad Shelby we will not vote for your DEMOCRAT party…They are too BACKWARDS for me! I love to keep my COUNTRY SAFE! and pulling out of Iraq will not do so….If Iran took Iraq and invade it that would be a BIG problem!!! We don’t like to pay TOO much taxes. What we are paying right now if more than enough to fund everything!!! We even give charity to several countries. That means all we need is to budget it right not raise them!!!!!

I liked Tina’s comment on Feb. 9th:

“You [conservative leaders] have NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELVES and your incredible determination to hand Romney the nomination. Romney does not inspire. Huckabee does.”

Huckabee is a conservative, including a fiscal conservative, yet they inexplicably acted like his record was that of a centrist–similar to McCain. Even Fred Thompson and El Rushbo did this.

I think Thompson really thought Huckabee was a leftist in disguise. And also, I think Ann Coulter believed that–they both just didn’t do their homework. Unfortunately, Huckabee lost to McCain by only 3 points in South Carolina–and this was caused by Fred Thompson running a lot of ads saying Huckabee wasn’t a conservative.

Talk show host like Hanity and Limbaugh probably didn’t think Huckabee was electable–so they shielded their listeners from what the truth (Huckabee’s conservatism). They may have thought that Huckabee’s advocacy of the Fair Tax, and his lack of money, would make it impossible for him to win.

The Fair Tax would have held up during a presidential campaign; similar plans have long been touted by economists to alleviate trade deficits, imbalance of payments, savings rates, etc. The Fair Tax is a solid idea.

I like Romney, but Huckabee’s ability to connect is a bigger asset than all of Romney’s money.

Maybe there’s still hope. I thought the conservative movement was dead in ‘76, when Reagan lost to Ford. But Reagan came roaring back 4 years later.

No one should ever drop out until someone gets all of the delegates. Its insane that people drop out of the race after one or two small states that don’t have any delegates or mean anything.

I think it staggering that Romney won the Straw Poll at CPAC even after pulling out of the race. Seventy-five percent of the votes were cast after Romney’s speech, a speech which ended in Romney declaring he was leaving the race. Romney got 35%, McCain 34%, Mike Huckabee 12% and Ron Paul 12%. Maybe Romney is the most conservative. I found the percentages very telling.

Unfortunately for me, I did not hear the beginning of Huckabee’s CPAC speech of 2/9/08. I would really appreciate if someone would tell me where to go to find the transcript. I’ve searched the web without any success. This man is the one that this country needs to turn us around. I pray every night for our leaders and also that God will please give members of Congress a conscience. They are so into their pet projects, they are bankrupting this country and no one sees it but the true Americans.
Please advise if anyone know of the transcript from yesterday. I want to use it open alot of eyes before it is too late!

Everyday Americans, living in everyday homes and driving everyday cars pick Governor Mike Huckabee to be President.

We do not want Mccain.

Talk radio and media tried to convince Americans to vote for Romney in order to stop Mccain.

Romney robo-called by the millions to try and trick voters into thinking Huckabee had DROPPED OUT of the race prior to Super Tuesday. That was unethical and our Republican party should have stood up for the people of America.

That initially damaged Huckabee but we the people are still fighting hard. We WANT HUCKABEE!!!!

Please, if you are in any upcoming State, take to the street to wave Huckabee signs, contribute on his website, and get out and vote! No exceptions. If we stay united we can still have Huckabee as President.

Huckabee just won Kansas 60% to Mccains 24% and we can get these results in all of the remaining States.

I’ve been trying to figure out why Mike Huckabee has received almost no support from supposedly conservative pundits or Washington elite. Even at the CPAC convention, Governor Huckabee’s speech was relegated to Saturday morning, with almost no chance of it influencing voters in today’s voting. I couldn’t even find out when his speech was, and missed it. The convention’s straw pole was taken before he spoke. I guess I’m slow, but I’ve finally decided that Washington is more corrupt than most people realize. Implementation of the Fair Tax would completely change the power structure, and they are really afraid of some one as incorruptible as Mike being in a position to shine some light on the status quo. I’m not all that bright, but I’m glad that I’m not your average lemming voter, either.
