McCain picks up endorsements from Gilmore, Bolton

Presumptive GOP nominee John McCain continued to pick up endorsements Saturday. The campaign announced that former presidential candidate/Virginia governor/current Senate candidate Jim Gilmore has put his support behind the Arizona senator ahead of Tuesday’s Old Dominion primary. While he was in the race, Gilmore coined the epithet “Rudy McRomney” during the spring to argue that McCain, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani were indistinguishable and all lacking in conservative credentials.

But it looks like Gilmore has come around:

“There is one issue that is more pressing than all others — winning the war against radical Islamic extremism,” Gilmore said in a written statement. “And there is one man who is best prepared to step-in and serve as commander in chief from day one John McCain. I have known John McCain for years. He is a proven conservative leader with a track record of cutting taxes, eliminating wasteful government spending, upholding our traditional values, and promoting a strong national defense. I urge my fellow Virginians to join me in voting for and supporting John McCain this Tuesday.”

The campaign also announced the support of former UN Ambassador John Bolton, who they touted as “further proof that conservatives are rallying” to McCain.

Add to the Huckaphony’s already sordid and corrupt past, now the news media is questioning Huckster’s judgement and character, because of his association with the televangelist Kenneth Copeland, who has refused to cooperate with a Senate investigation into his ministry’s finances, and Copeland donated a large sum of money to Huckster. Huckster spent the night at Copeland’s 18,000 sq. foot waterfront house. Hmmmm, where did Copeland get all that money to buy a house like that?

The dirt just keeps coming out on the SCARY AND CORRUPT MIKE HUCKSTER!

Have a look at the ages of the Supreme Court justices who are appointed for life. Try to determine how many of them are at the age when they are probably about to retire…I’d say about 4-5 of them. Do YOU want Hillary or Obama in the White House when it’s time to replace those Supreme Court justices? You may not like McCain and in fact I disagree with him on several issues but if there’s one branch of the government that is ultimately the most powerful it’s the Supreme Court and on that I’ll take McCain’s nominees over Hillary or Obama’s any bloody day of the week.

The Republican party is heading for disaster. You did not see Democrats change their core values as ludicrious as they are after they got their butts handed to them in 04′. Why did we? Until we get back to our core values of securing our borders, language, and culture is when we will gain control of both houses of congress and the presidency. As much as the establishment has moved left, it may never happen again. I feel there should be no parties and should elect a man or women based on their record and plans for future policy. I guarantee you our economy would be up and our congress would actually get the necessary things done. If there has to be a party system, then there has to be a third party called the ” American” party.

I see several things that have happened. The mainstream media pushed the Republican GOP (McCain) down our throats. Now the mainstream media are laughing at the republicans for choosing such a weak candidate. McCain cannot pull the majority conservative base. McCain will not win against the Democrats including if he runs against Hillary. John McCain’s will ruin our hopes for a 2008 Republican President. The worst thing is everyone knows it.

Scott you are exactly right!

David wants to cut off his nose to spite his face. He will be one of”the millions” that will be whining when very liberal justices are appointed and the Dems wreck what is left of our country.

You know…all the “Huckabee can still win” stuff is a little amusing. Don’t get me wrong..I like Huck, but it reminds me a little of John Paul Jones screaming at the British from his deck “I have not yet begun to fight” which seemed like a great inspirational message until he realized his ship was sinking.

Huckabee should drop out of the race for the good of the party (exactly like Romney did). He is only splitting up the Republican party. He seems to care more about himself than the good of the party. The longer he stays in, the more it’s going to hurt the Republicans. Huckabee could never win against Hillary or Obama…they have already said they would love to run against him because they know they would win.

Guess what folks. If John McCain is elected president, he will do what he has always done since he despises conservatives. He will do like RINO Bush and disregard the wishes of the voters. Ted Kennedy will have more influence than conservatives and RINO McCain will continue doing what he does best–betray his party and America. His Shamesty bill is outright treason as it totally betrays America and American taxpayers. Has he once ever had any sympathy of American citizens who were victimized by illegal alien criminals or by illegals with no driver’s license or insurance. We don’t need another 8 years os someone worse pr dumber than Bush. Besides, he is mentally unstable and the Democrats will beat him like he stole something.
