Do people apologize for saying stupid things? yes.

Should this guy be fired and his future be held in question? no.

Should every woman hold Bill clinton in contempt for his lewd acts with other woman and his wife standing by him? yes.

I agree about B. Clinton should’ve gone 1 on 1 with this guy. Why didn’t he?

Maybe we should bring it back, but duels were held by men of character or not. You would have to figure out whether Clinton or Shuster is the good guy.

NBC has failed to do its’ job responsibly without bias for some time (and I have been watching NBC since the years before colour television). NBC is not alone in this—but it is the most notorious and chronic. I reached my limit with the comment made by David Shuster regarding Chelsea Clinton. This was not ‘an unfortunate choice of words’ scenario. It revealed the ugly truth about Mr. Shuster, and rather than cover the story of this undeserved degradation of a young woman–and as such, all women–as they would if it weren’t one of their own, NBC buried it as fast as they could, suspended Mr. Shuster (as if he were some naughty schoolboy) after a disingenuous apology.

I agree the reporter could have used different language. Chelsea’s, however, 25+years old, makes $300k a year for a hedge fund, put herself in this position and the reporter’s remarks were taken out of context. Where was Hillary’s outrage as a mother about Bill’s remarks about Jesse Jackson, Monica etc?

If Hillary would like the reporter fired/removed from his job for these comments, where was her outrage as a mother when Bill was having oral sex performed on him in the Oval Office, during business hours, by a 21 year old, while conversing about sending troops to Somalia? I believe those mothers earned the right to be outraged when their sons came home in body bags. CEOs of companies would be fired for such acts along with middle managers etc. As a former military member, personnel have also been imprisoned under the UCMJ for lessor acts. Where was Hillary’s outrage during this and expressing the President and Commander in Chief should be fired. Oh, I get it, she has situational standards and I guess it all depends on what the definition of “is” is.

Someone got upset, and you lost your job. Where does it say in the Constitution, if you say something stupid about an adult you get fired. You lost your job, possibly a damaged future.
