Huckabee Wins West Virginia–Romney Camp Alleges a “Washington Backroom Deal”

Boston, MA—

Mike Huckabee has won the West Virginia Delegate Convention and has been awarded its 18 delegates—the first win out of Super Tuesday. This is a disappointing loss for Mitt Romney, who spoke at the convention this morning, and they are alleging that the McCain campaign cut a “Washington backroom deal.”

Fox News’ Jake Gibson reported that McCain delegates at the convention were “instructed by the campaign to throw their support to Mike Huckabee.”

Huckabee won in the second round of voting. Romney won the first round but did not secure the 50 percent needed to win on the first ballot. He got 41% and Huckabee received 33%. Gibson reported that the calls were made between the first and second rounds.

The Romney campaign responded sending out a statement from campaign manager, Beth Myers:

“Unfortunately, this is what Senator McCain’s inside Washington ways look like: he cut a backroom deal with the tax-and-spend candidate he thought could best stop Governor Romney’s campaign of conservative change.”

“Governor Romney had enough respect for the Republican voters of West Virginia to make an appeal to them about the future of the party based on issues.  This is why he led on today’s first ballot.  Sadly, Senator McCain cut a Washington backroom deal in a way that once again underscores his legacy of working against Republicans who are interested in championing conservative policies and rebuilding the party.”

The Romney campaign had an operation in West Virginia since July of 2006. Romney senior adviser in the state, John McCutcheon described the other campaign operations as “skeletal.” The camp had phone banks, radio ads, and events in 55 counties. Romney also had the most committed delegates going into today–280 out of 1,207, most of which are uncommitted—all underscoring what a searing loss it is for the campaign

If true, that is a very dirty move from McCain. I might have to reconsider him as my secondary vote should Clinton lose.

i see it as mccain coming to his senses and even he has to admit that huck is the only true conservative

Comment by Melinda K.

Give me a break! You know full well that Romney won the first round and only by combining Huckabee and Mccains votes was Huckabee able to pull it off. Romney has had to, in a sense, run a campaign of one against two. Huckabee and Mccain are like two bullies on a playground that know they can’t win on their own so they play dirty tricks together to try and take the stronger candidate, Mitt Romney, down. The people of this country are taking notice and will not stand for these kind of low brow tactics and it will be the undoing of both McCain and Huckabee in the end.
Vote for Mitt Romney so that we can have a man of class and integrity running the White House!

Stop your whining Rombots!!! You lost - get over it.

Why are McCain supporters being allowed to influence MY nominee choice! Many of us haven’t have a choice for some time now, due to the media focusing on a select few. I might stay home and let the chips fall where they may. McCain, Hillary and/or Obama are the same, so why bother voting?

Comment by JOhn

Oh, you poor Romneyites! Losers! Romney was for it before he was against it. Look at the mess he left in Taxachussetts! He is no more Presidential than Mickey Mouse. Hey - whatever it takes! McCain is the man.

Comment by Jimmy

Let’s say the tables were turned - Romney would have instructed his people to vote for Huckabee. Wake up people - this is how the world works!! Deals are made every day, every where!

Of course there was a backroom deal, and McCain will certainly owe Huckabee. They are, after all, just practicing the World’s Oldest Profession, as only a long-time liberal Washington insider, like McCain, could plot it. The Dow Jones sees it 9 months out and immediately discounts it NOW as DOWN 370!! This is McCain’s great sell-out of America and you, to suit his political purposes. He, by his own words, doesn’t know much about the economy! But it’s ALL about the economy, and only Romney has an economic clue, but you won’t vote for him because you’ve bot into all the liberal media balderdash….

Comment by kevin

way to go huckabee. Who cares if mccain supporters were told to support huckabee here. everyone has an independent mind and can make their own decisions. If they didn’t want to support huckabee they wouldn’t have. So Romney and all his supporters need to quit whining and grow up. He’s the worst candidate for the GOP anyways. The sooner he is done the better.

Comment by llemmennttexx

I can’t wait for McCain and Huckabee to get absolutely embarrassed in the general election against Hillary or Obama.

As a Republican, I will vote Democrat (and I know a slew of others who are with me) against John McCain.

Comment by BC

Wait- I thought someone needs to win a MAJORITY of the votes to collect the delegates- clearly, some of the convention attendees were going to need to change their votes (Romney did not win 50% or more in the vote.). This seems completely fair- it’s sort of like parlimentary politics in Europe.

Romney take your lose like a man! AQll you guys are dirty so if this is true call it karma.

Huckabee Voters:

It actually is embarrassing to see what kind of comments Huckabee has made about Romney. The more research I have done the more I discover how false Huckabee’s statements have been. Huckabee is becoming more and more like McCain in his comments. The problem I now have with Huckabee is he is siding with McCain, (McCain supports gay marriage, and was involved in the McCain Savings and Loan scandal). Is he looking for a job with McCain?
Check the facts - here is the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keating_Five

Huckabee is NOT acting like a person who should be President.

I am now going to support Mitt Romney!

Comment by Cotton

It would seem that McCain is just a slight bit unethical. Not convinced he would do better IF elected.

Comment by JAM

All I have to say, I am a Liberatarian, I was hoping that the Republican Party would have some common sense in picking Romney, but since they have sold their souls to the Devil, I have decided that if the Republican’s cannot put aside their bigot and greedy self worths of themselves and pick a decent man like Romney, then I will have to vote for Obama. Because if I am not going to be able to vote for a very decent man like Romeny, mise as well vote for the Devil. I hope the pain of what the Republicans have done to this country they can ask God for forgivness. Because I will not, but I will pray for Romeny, who comes from the most decent and upheld of religons.

Comment by Gil

McCain and Huckabee are fake , phoney, so called conservatives…..People open your eyes….They side with liberals on policy after policy….and run as conservatives on one or two points. Wake up America or you will get what you ask for……..and then spend 4-8 years complaining about it….

Comment by KateB

Why would Huckabee have to even be in on a deal where McCain might play some dirty back room tricks? Huckabee is a man of integrity and would not partake in such activities. McCain…I could see him doing it but if it did happen that way, good for Huckabee! He is the one who deserves to be in office, he just does not get the same airtime as Romney the billionaire!

Comment by Kelly

Are you waiting for Sean to cover the dirty deal that McCain and Huckabee pulled on Romney?? That’s another reason not to vote for McCain.

Comment by sam from utah

This is every thing that is wrong with Washington. This is why it will stay broken. And Huckabee says he is the one with values? Give me break, this is as dishonest as it gets.

Comment by Greg

Huckabee is neither Christian nor Conservative if he’s in bed with McCain. When he was governor of Arkansas, he pardoned criminals on a daily basis. Think what he could do as president!! If either Huckabee or McCain win the nomination, I’M VOTING DEMOCRAT!!

Come on- Romney is just a Republican Bill Clinton- he changes his position on anything just to be elected. All this stuff about him being the only “conservative” choice is bunk. He was considered a liberal Republican by almost any standard until about a year ago. I mean, he didn’t win an election in Masschusetts on a theme of “let’s keep the house that Ronald Reagan built”

First, these are only allegations - the very things which make for sensational headlines and is a well-sharpened media tool to lead (and mislead) the blind general public.
Secondly, it shows (again) that the MESSAGE is more important than the MILLIONS.

CONSIDER: If this is the very best that Mr “I-know-how-to-make-america-wealth” Romney can do, by investing 2+ years and MILLIONS of dollars into little West Virginia —– can anyone HONESTLY imagine that he will be any different in Washington?

Salt Lake’s stellar PR machine is coming to a grinding halt. Romney, money can’t buy everything.

Huckabee! It’s about the message, not the money.

Comment by Gerald G

Open your eyes, KateB. You’re sweet, apparently, and extremely naive. Huckabee has ZERO chance of winning the nomination, esp. once he’s competing outside of the South. He’s draining his campaign coffers of real money for ONE reason: to keep his secret deal with McCain. There is most certainly a pay-off coming from McCain, the experienced Washington cloakroom deal cutter — maybe even a Cabinet position. This is, after all, the Oldest Profession, next to one other one.

Comment by stacy

How do we even know this is true, THEIR ALL DISHONEST. every last one of them. Who’s the least crappiest? Thats who’s got my vote.

Well this all seems very fair, where do you Mitt-Bots think the McCain voters would go? Its a well known fact that most McCain supporters have Huck as a second choice. Heck even the Ron Paul people voted for Huck so the Mitt-Bots need to go tend to their spilled milk.

Comment by Jane

t’s unlawful is for two candidates coordinating to against one candidate

If McCain and Huckabee are coordinating, it should be unlawful. Since the election is not supposed to be two candidates coordinating against one candidate.

After Huckabee’s Iowa win, Huckabee told McCain, “Now it’s your turn to kick Romney’s ass”

Before Huckabee’s surprising turnaround at the convention, McCain delegates told FOX News they had been instructed by the campaign to throw their support to Huckabee.

This is just what is wrong with our country. This is what you call politics? McCain could not do it alone so he has worked out a deal with Huckabee. That is what you call an Honorable Man? Give me a break he is as crooked as most of the politicians. I am sick of the way Washington works and Romney is the man to break it down. GO ROMNEY.

Hey Frankie…..Notice that McCain is the only so called Republican in the group of Democrats in the Keating Five investigation…Safe to say we know who his real buddies are ….

Comment by CHIOwa

I am so sick of the kind of politicians that McCain and Huckabee are. I am so sick of the Bush administration and I really wanted change this election. My candidate was robbed in the past two presidential elections (Gore and Kerry) and now my candidate (Romney) is being robbed by these wolves in sheeps clothing! My politics have changed over the years and I have become a conservative but I cannot support the Republican party at this point! I am so tired of the way American politics works! There is no way I would vote for either McCain or Huckabee! To double team a man who could be one of the brightest men who has ever run for the presidency is unreal to me! What are they afraid of? It smacks with religious intolerance… they are both Baptists ganging up against the Mormon candidate… I would vote for Hillary before I would vote for either of them and that is saying a lot! As far as I am concerned, if the Republican party does not get smart they may as well just hand the election over to the Democrats right now! I will not vote for McCain and the Republicans are stupid if they believe he can win and they are idiots if they think Huckabee can!

Comment by Ben

Wow does Romney always have an excuse for everything and anything. I have yet to see him take a defeat without an excuse or lame comment. Furthermore, everytime he has won he goes out and makes a speach to cut off the also-rans from getting any exposure. He did it in NH to Huckabee…did it in Michigan to McCain. They guy is an ego monger that can’t admit when he’s been defeated, or for that matter when he is wrong.

Comment by Tiffany

McCain is a cheater and cheaters never prosper (ask Bill Belichek)! As a matter of principal, I will vote DEMOCRAT before I vote for John McCain. Go Mitt!

romney has negatively and falsley attacked both McCain and Huckabee. romney just reaped what he sewed. someones delegates had to give so the vote reached 50%. Had romney not been lying about the other candidates maybe he could have received more of the other delegates.

Comment by Tiffany

If you put one crab in a shallow buckett with no lid, he will easily crawl out. If you put more then one crab in a buckett no one will get out because they will each pull each other down. Mike Huckabee and John McCain are crabs in a buckett. Huckabee knows he doesnt stand a chance in this election, but because of his OWN personal animosity towards Romney, he is staying in the race to deflect votes from Romney..even at the expense of the conservative based party. John McCain saw that Romney, his closest rival, was doing well in WVa, so he teamed up with huckabee supporters to ensure that Romney didnt get the first win of the day to build any kind of momentum. “Supposedly” John McCain has a big lead over Romney in Arizona..I really hope that isnt true. I would like to see nothing more then McCain lose in his home state in the winner-take-all election today.

Comment by Go Mitt!

No Concerned Conservative! It’s about bigotry! If Romney was a Baptist Minister, he would already have the nomination.

Comment by GD

Another confirmation that McCain and Huckabee have been teaming up against Romney the whole time. Politicians are pathetic which is exactly why we need a successful business man like Romney to fix this country.

Comment by Susan

Hey, Frankie! In case you weren’t aware, Wikipedia isn’t usually a very reliable source. And what about the slams Romney leveled in Iowa and New Hampshire. Poooor wittle Mitt - can’t buy the free American’s vote. He just doesn’t know how to act! Ya know, Romney was my 2nd choice, but I have since decided that McCain will be my second. At least he doesn’t act like a crybaby! How about Romney steps out of the race and quit taking the Conservative votes from Huckabee?
And, by the way, what happened today in West Virginia is how caucuses run! People have to change their minds to make the caucus system work. McCain wasn’t the only one who advised his people to go to Huckabee, so did Ron Paul. Because the three of them have treated each other with mutual respect- something Romney has clearly lacked in this race.
Get over it people. I’m sure Romney will get his share of delegates.

Comment by Paul

“ALLEGES”??? ARE YOU NUTS??? 15% of McCain supporters (all but 1%) switched to Huckabee when it was clear that McCain couldn’t win the state, and they did this on the behest of the McCain campaign.

What is wrong with this world when you can have collusion in politics like this and have it go unpunished. It is illegal in business… American is about fighting the good fight, but we want it to be fought fairly. NO two vs. one!!

Comment by Dan Cool

To paraphrase the whining Romney “It’s called politics”. And that’s how caucuses work.

Comment by Todd

McCain’s dirty tricks tells me that he may not care if he gets my vote today, but he is sure gona miss it in November.

Comment by Derek

Greg, I have no issue in accepting a fair defeat. However, this kind of ‘dirty politics’ does nothing for the people of this country. It only benefits those that thirst for power. Do you really want someone like that in the White House? Not only will they have influence over what happens in our country over the next four years, they also represent our nation to the world. This kind of thing is wrong no matter who does it. It would be nice to see people step up and call them on it, even if it’s their favorite candidate.

Comment by Jay

To those saying “Stop whining” I voted Hillary Clinton. Should Obama win, John McCain was my secondary vote as I agree with him on some things.

If this turns out to be true, and a deal was called in, then I may not vote for him should Clinton lose. I’m not whining, that’s for sure, but it would be a very, very dirty move if there was a call put in to move all delegates to someone other than Romney.

If there’s not a call, and they decided on their own, that’s different. I’m starting to think this is true, as Huckabee went from around 31% to 51%. McCain supposedly only had about 15% on the first round. 5% came from somewhere else. It’s possible that after the first round, some of Paul’s and all of McCain’s just went with whoever was #2.

Either way, if McCain is behind this, it’s incredibly dirty.

Comment by Joe LaForm

Wow,you guys actually care who wins the Republican nomination? After the last seven horrible years with Bush at the helm, there wont be a Republican winning the White House in 2008, unless its a Fox News(if thats what you call it)reporter. 2012 doesnt look good either.

Comment by Jerad

Huckabee & McCain, the best way to stop conservatism!

Go Mitt!!!

Comment by Paul

McCain is a democrat in sheep’s clothing. He’s a dangerous hothead as well. He voted against the Bush tax cuts. That is unforgivable no matter what the excuse. I don’t believe he is a leader. His Senatorial experience is no match for Romney’s executive background.

Comment by NJathiest 4Huckabee

Who’s whining now, Mitt?

Comment by Bernice

This Election is becoming a disgrace to our Country. When one person refuses to withdraw as a Candidate so he can draw votes away from Mitt Romney is a disgrace. Yes I am convinced that Huckabee and McCain have already drawn up a BackRoom deal. Huckabee will stay in the Race to deliberately so he can take Conservative votes away from Mitt Romney. And by staying in he has cut a deal with McCain to get a spot in his Administration (If McCain wins the election) This is absolutely disgusting. McCain is up to his same old tactics. He is a Democrat in disguise.

Comment by Julia

McCain of course did this. He is about as conservative as Hillary/Barack. If McCain wins this election we hear in Texas might as well be apart of Mexico…oh and forget about family values! McCain and Guliani or are on what their third or fourth wives each? Point and case that America is going down the tube if the CONSERVATIVE party votes in a liberal. McCain will ruin this country and drain our funds in Iraq…pointless. Too bad because Romney is the only one with the economic smarts to fix our deficit.

Comment by Amanda

Who’s whining now? Get over yourself, Mitt!

Go Huck!

A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain (McAmnesty)

Huckabee is just a rump swap for McCain. Huckabee has no chance to win and is only in the race to keep Romney from winning.

I am an independant voter as well. Was a Massachusetts Democrat when I started out at 18… my mistake. I am now in NH and an independant.

It the Republicans are stupid enough to nominate McCain then I will vote against him… well… unless Clinton is on the ticket as well. If that happens I will just sit this one out.

McAmnesty will loose in a land slide… if he is nominated. Mark my words here you dopes. Liberals will vote for the democrat liberal not the Republican who votes and acts like a liberal.

Oh and all those who like to say Romney flip flops… right look at this. McCain is major flipper…Flipper. Flipper….

“Go Mitt!” You are incorrect. When it’s Hillary vs. Obama, it’ the race card that is played.
Now here it’s the ever-so-boring religion card, but nevertheless equally void of factual content.
It’s the MESSAGE: Huckabee is 100% (literally) consistent in his Pro-Life position. You know that the Mittster has not been.
It’s the MESSAGE: Huckabee is 100% consistent in his financial reforms, turning back woods Arkansas massive Democtratic debt into a budget surplus. You know that Million Dollar Baby Mitty left Mass in huge debts.
One man has stayed the course, even when he was penalized for it (HUCKABEE), the other has flip-flopped like the Mass liberal that he is, changing only when it serves his pocketbook the best.
Any realworld CEO that invested as much as Mitt has with such pathetic losses would be tried alongside the Enron thieves.
Keep the religion card filed where it belongs.

“Salt Lake’s stellar PR machine is coming to a grinding halt.” Romney is not from Salt Lake. Nor is he being promoted or even endorsed by the Mormon church. If he were Catholic, would you have commented that “The Vatican’s stellar PR machine is coming to a grinding halt.”? The obvious answer is that you would not have. You may not see it as religious bigotry, but that’s exactly what it is. I’m frankly surprised by the amount of comments that I see/hear that make reference to his religion in a negative manner. It’s a sad comment on the state of our nation and our politics.

To Jeff Bone:

“Wasn’t it just the other day that Romney was telling Huckabee that there’s no whining in politics?”

Romney doesn’t use Clintonian tactics. He is true conservative, not a Clinton democrat. I think it is funny how people say that Hannity, Rush, Ingram, Glen Beck and many more are duped! These are the people who have been analyzing conservatism and righting to keep it alive for years. Oh, it just so happens that they are wrong and the Huck and Mc(Cain) fanatics are right.

It was meant for Romney to have the odds stacked against him. It will be that much more glorious when he wins. He has defied the odds in nearly every situation in his life.

You wait and see. As much as you don’t want to admit, this filthy tactic will turn for his good.

“Oh, you poor Romneyites! Losers! Romney was for it before he was against it. Look at the mess he left in Taxachussetts! He is no more Presidential than Mickey Mouse. Hey - whatever it takes! – Hickabee’s most loony notion is to scrap income taxes and replace them with sales taxes at roughly 30% on everything. By ending graduated taxation, Wall Street zillionaires and heiresses would pay no income taxes while single parent moms or working poor would fork out 30% on everything they spend which usually represents everything they make. It’s not tax reform. It’s a 30% tax on poverty, bad economics and the opposite of real Judeo-Christian values.

Do you care? If so, you have until Tuesday evening to make your principled and patriotic voice heard. For after Tuesday, if Mike Huckabee succeeds in his self-serving quest to deny Mitt Romney the nomination, then it will be conservatives who will be placed at the back of the line…for years to come.

Poor Huckabee. In his rush to compromise himself, he has not stopped to do some basic math. Basic math that dictates that as soon as he is no longer useful to the McCain campaign, he will be cast off the “Straight Talk” express at the nearest ditch. Blinded by his desire for power, Huckabee has not realized that there is no rational, logical, or political reason, for McCain to pick him as his running mate. Once the nomination is secure, Huckabee will revert back to the kind of evangelical McCain denounced so loudly back in 2000.

Huckabee’s suicide pact can only succeed if conservatives hold his hand as he leaps off the cliff. For the next two days, all the power still rests with the conservative movement. Not with Mike Huckabee. Not with John McCain. Not with the New York Times. For the next thirty-six hours or so, you, the conservative voter, control your destiny.

How much do you really care about border security? How much do you really care about stopping the illegal invasion of our nation? How much do you really care about not letting the United States morph into the North American Union? How much do you really care about true conservatives being appointed to the Supreme Court? How much do you really care about permanent tax cuts?

The betting in the McCain-Huckabee-New York Times camp is that your conservative opinion has become irrelevant. That your opinion and your vote has been displaced by a coalition of liberal, Democrat, independent, and Hispanic votes that have been directed to the “Straight Talk” express by the far-left media.

Bill Clinton has recently talked about fairy tales. A popular fairy tale being floated by the mainstream media is that John McCain would be the toughest Republican for the Democrat nominee to defeat in November. While entertaining in some quarters, it is not true. When asked, every single Democrat powerbroker I have spoken with in Washington, has told me that they fear Romney in a general election. They feel his “reasoned” conservatism would strike a chord with a majority of voters concerned with economic and national security, as well as illegal immigration.

That said, with no hope for the nomination, and no hope to be picked as a running mate, Mike Huckabee continues his Machiavellian campaign to derail Romney. Why?

In concert with that campaign, pro-abortion, pro-amnesty, pro-tax hike, “Republicans” and editorial pages, rush to endorse John McCain. Why?

Simple. They believe that the conservative movement is fractured and that its voice is muted. They believe you no longer count.

You have until Tuesday evening to prove them wrong. If not, we will all pay a very steep price.

Comment by Lisa

McCain is old school Washington through and through. It’s obvious that he’s relying on Huckabee to siphon off delegates in order to not be exposed for the pathetically weak candidate that he is.

No one candidate will have a majority after Super Tuesday and I think in the long run these kinds of underhanded tactics will hurt McCain more than it helps him.

Here are the FACTS why people DO NOT SUPPORT HUCKLEBERRY.
1. 1033 pardons, including 12 Murderers. Fact that shows he doesn’t care about the VICTIMS. Dumond is the worst case. And he lied and said he wasn’t involved.
2. There were several ETHIC probes while he was in office.
3. He encouraged illegal immigration by setting up a Mexican Consulate.
4. He sponsored scholarships for Illegals.
5. He raised taxes by 500 million. Not a conservative.
6. He claimed he was the “Christian” candidate. Give me a break.
7. Huckleberry is just a spoiler for McCain. Between McCain and Huckleberry they are moving the Republicans to the LEFT. No thank you.

Huckabee will NOT win the nomination. A vote for Huckleberry is a vote for Juan McCain

HUCKABEE WINS NOMINATION & PRESIDENCY!!!

ANN COULTER AND RUSH LIMBAUGH BOTH THREATEN LOSING THEIR LISTENER BASE. They both are an embarrassment to the Republican Party and Americas conservatives. They are becoming more out of touch with their base every day. Perhaps they are connected among the political masons. Their ship is sinking.

The Shift in Momentum IS FOR PRESIDENT HUCKABEE in 2008

Mike Huckabee is presidential material and is alone able to defeat Hillary & Obama. I am now convinced that those wealthier donors to Romney’s, Giuliani’s, and Thompson’s campaign have wasted their money and if they continue, are wasting their hard earned money on candidates who do not have voter appeal or substance. As a member of the younger generation, I will tell you point blank, Romney, Giuliani, and Thompson DO NOT connect with us.

ROMENY has run out of gas. He has been the worst investment money could buy. His persecution complex makes him so defensive, weepy and wimpy that he cracks under pressure. . His fake, calculated tears make him look like a BIG WEENIE before now Czar Putin in mother Russia and rest of the world. Romneys negative campaigning reveals his unprofessional desperation and that he is really an unkind angry old man. BOTH Romney’s and Giuliani’s flip flop past makes them a liability and not an asset for republicans in 2008.

Every time Huckabee is heard his approval amongst Republicans and Democrats increases even WITHOUT major financial support. Just imagine what would happen if he got the major financial support. He is the Republican’s secret weapon in the 2008 election. Huckabee’s proven leadership can help bring America together as a team.

Huckabee is the BEST candidate because he not only attracts republicans but also democrats to his side without compromising his principles. Both side support is needed to win this election in 2008 and he has it.

WHY HUCKABEE WINS THE NOMINATION and the PRESIDENCY

http://evolutionfacts.townhall.com

Listed are just some of the reasons why I switched my vote to Huckabee:

1. Huckabee can think fast on his feet.

2. He is personable and has a great sense of humor.

3. He is real and does NOT put up a front.

4. Huckabee is a problem-solver for the poor and less fortunate.

5. Huckabee is extremely knowledgeable about various issues and communicates with confidence.

6. He is Pro-life and Pro-family.

7. He is witty and competitive; Huckabee DOES NOT sound like nor does he act like a vacillating wimp.

8. As governor, Huckabee is the longest proven executive leader among all the nominees.

9. He demonstrates wisdom, humility, and self-control.

10. Huckabee is completely understandable and communicates with great depth.

11. Huckabee has a consistent conservative track record.

12. He is noble, honest, compassionate, bold, also attentive to all the questions he was ever asked about WITHOUT being all over the board and WITHOUT sounding scattered.

13. Huckabee is clearly the toughest on border and national security.

—- PRESS RELEASE —-

Hillary & Obama are BOTH Socialists and Dangerous to America

Hillary and Obama publicly attacks and destroys marriage by the policies they support to rape the minds of children through their depraved sex education programs in order the perpetuate the vicious circle of dysfunction and abuse unto next generation (who is now ever more uneducated, damaged, and dependent on the very liberal & barbaric government that socially-engineered their economic plantation for a harvest of future votes.)

What the socialist Progressives do is actually a typical method that dictators use to wean a society away from democracy. They economic and social policies are designed to FAIL in the long term even though
on the outside they are all disguised to give the people what they want (yet without responsibility). One tactic is to strip children away from parental guidance and wisdom by using a combination of
secular humanistic indoctrination into the schools combined with creating the songs or anthems of rebellion within the generation.

A soviet Communist Party official once said, “If we can kill the national pride and patriotism of just one generation, we have won that country. By making readily available drugs of various kinds, by giving a teenager alcohol, by praising his wildness, by strangling him with sex literature, and by advertising to his and her (Psycho-Political Preparation,) we can create the necessary attitude of Chaos, Idleness, and worthlessness.”

Sound at all familiar? … Maybe MTV, VH1, how about our culture in general? The Socialist Progressives take advantage of the average person’s ignorance. This is the doctrine that the advertisers and large networks and corporations have accepted, while they refuse to admit that it is true.

Individuals become conditioned to care less about their family and own children and lose the desire to care about what is absolutely true or false because the secular humanistic social engineers have used that nation’s self-centered attitude to enslave them into a state of apathy and relativism. All the media has to do is influence peer pressure and like a herd of sheep falling off a cliff Americans suffer.

Wake UP AMERICA!!! VOTE HUCKABEE ===> http://evolutionfacts.townhall.com

Romney is not a politician so he doesn’t have the slick delivery others do. But to me this is a positive. The politicians have messed things up…including McCain. We need a change and I think Romney’s the one. He can work with world leaders and will impress them instead of yelling at them with four-letter words like McCain.

Romney took no pay from Massachusetts and only $1 from the Olympics. He’s spending his own money on the race. I believe he wants this job not for power or money, but to be of service to our country. I support him.

Congratulations, Maine! Thanks for choosing a man with conservative values for America.
Mitt Romney’s successful business experience, successful Olympic experience, and successful state governing success set him above all other candidates. His vision of using economic strength to combat terrorist and his Apollo plan for energy independence are also set him above all other candidates. He is a real leader who can lead American to build a strong economic and therefore a strong nation! Hope American people will elect Mitt Romney, the only competent candidate, to be our president.

How could any moderates and liberals backs war monger McCain. McCain wants to bomb Iran and stay in Iraq for 100 years and promised for more wars. McCain says he wants interest rates to be ZERO out of complete ignorance for how interest rates affect the economy. I’d like to see him say that to retirees on a fixed income. McCain want 20 million illegal immigrants to stay permanently and legal immigrants who can vote do not support it. How could this country be secure if he is in power??? If McCain is nominee, as a republican I would rather vote Clinton than McCain. As least we know Clinton has some intelligence and lead the booming economic. McCain will lead this country to a total ruin with his lack of intelligence and no executive experience. Mitt Romney is an expert in economics and finance and is the man we need as president.

If anyone can rescue the economy at this point, it would have to be Mitt. The US is $53 trillion in debt, that is $400K per household. The dollar is becoming useless and the Euro is now becoming the credible currency. Along with the national debt, most citizens are also deeply in debt. Tommorow the market is likely going to take a dump. If we don’t have a good economy you can forget foreign policy, fighting wars, or healthcare, funding for top education. The economy needs to be front and center, not religion, steriotypes and other trivial things.

It’s time to remind the public about the Keating 5. Here the banks are falling appart and the economy is going into recession and we want to reward a slime ball like McCain who was wrapped up with Charles Keating, the guy who tanked Lincoln Savings & Loan, driving a previous recession? Go figure. Given what this did to the economy in the early 90’s, McCain should have just taken a baseball bat to the knee caps of the American people. Mitt is too kind to this power hungry geriatric sellout!
John McCain has allowed countless billions of American dollars to be siphoned out of this country into Mexico alongside the countless billions of taxpayer dollars spent on health care, education, welfare, crime and mortgage bailouts for illegal aliens. John McCain, in his support for illegal immigration, has allowed Al Qaeda terrorist to use Mexican drug smuggling tunnels to enter the United States and plot to attack Fort Huachuca in southern Arizona. This litany of positions contrary to conservatism and American interests could go on and on.

This whole thing just makes me sick…get off your fannies and vote for Mitt Romney.

Just like McCains accusations of a Romney Timetable. Underhanded cheap tactics, but oblivious general public doesn’t see these as character issues so they’ll just keep voting for the guy. I know I won’t vote for him should he get the nomination.

John McCain you going to protect us just like you protected your fellow soldiers in Vietnam when you TOLD them where they were flying so that the enemy could shoot down your so called brother?????
If that is how you are going to treat me, than no thank you!

Kiley’s group cites as evidence a May 1973 U.S. News & World Report article by McCain in which he said he realized, on his third or fourth day of captivity after his plane was shot down in 1967, that his knee was so swollen the blood might pool in it and kill him. So he offered to give military information to his captors in exchange for medical treatment.

Who is the whiner now? Romney stop acting like a little child! Go Huck Go!

McCain has no integrity. He does not care about the will of the voters. He has never won more than 50% and he never will. Huckster wants to be in McCains cabinet.

Hillary is more honest than these two guys.
