In GOD we trust...hmmm, I thought about it, maybe you should do the same. It was NOT part of the founding fathers agenda or anything for that matter, but didn't become the national motto until 1955. Slavery was mentioned everywhere in this country too, should we stick with that as well? The Bible supports it in hundreds of places, to include this gem (Exodus 21:20) "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property."
And many of the founding fathers were not religious (such as Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson), which is why they were so adamant about a strong seperation of church and state, because they had lived under a theocracy and saw how oppressive and intolerant it was. Even the founding father clergymen wanted no religion mixed with politics, explaining why the Constitution is a purely secular document. So yes, I will go read a book (great insult, what are you, in fourth grade or something?). And I keep my thoughts to myself, but I get really irritated when religious zealots give me some ridiculous quote that doesnt apply to the situation and try to say every one is wrong but them. Ben, you are an idiot, thanks for the history lesson though. Maybe you should read the Bible in its entirety and make your own decisions, rather than rely on others to form your opinions.

This country was built on freedom of religion. One question, why do you think the word God is mentioned everywhere in our beautiful country's history? You Americans who attack others need to read up more on your history and stop being such ignorant name-callers. Some of the smartest men in America’s history were men who believed in God or a higher being. Just keep your criticisms to yourself. Go read a book. Learn a little.

P.S. In God WE Trust. Think about the history of that statement.

Why people can't be honest to themselves....??? Romney supporters said... oh he is a spoiler???Now looking at it looks like he is the spoiler. The truth is a Republican cannot win the white house not unless you win the SOUTH...Who won the south??? Huckabee...Now, let's be all honest and truthful here...FOR THE MONEY that Romney spent over his negative adds against Huckabee and McCain if he is really a good candidates he should be in McCain's place right now. But he is NOT! that means enough for spending too much MONEY! co'z your money don't work! People that vote for Huckabee are solid Huckabee you cannot buy them....For McCain winning over Romney on delegates count is SAD not to mention for how much money he spent over his negative adds...So if I were Romney I will be the one to drop out! Co'z how much more money you want to spend??? He is even using money out of his own pocket is rediculous meaning... not even money contribution from his supporters...So to Romney supporters get real!!! Be honest! Not to mention if let's say McCain is teaming up with Huckabee which really.... HE PUT THAT TO HIMSELF! Now Romney can't even be VICE PRESIDENT co'z he fist off other candidates. So who is losing here??? I am looking at the poll...the difference of voters margin between McCain and Romney at Massachussetts is not that much 10% difference...Compare to voters margin between Huckabee and McCain in Arkansa which is a huge difference of 40%....That shows people love Huckabee very much in his own state with a very big difference number of votes. That is when you know people who did the best job and love in their own respective STATES! And who did perform job well in their respective states. So all we have to do people is look at results and use our common sense! Not to get enough delegates you want for the money you spent is horrifying!

These religion debates are absolutely ridiculous. Do you listen to yourself, or have any rational thought? So many people are quoting Bible verses to make their point, but can anybody just make a decision for themselves? I dont know how many quotes say something like "this quote clearly proves that all other religions are false." Hey, maybe you should read the Bible in its entirety instead of cherrypicking the quotes you want. Was it God who (in Exodus 21) gives us advice on beating our slaves but making sure that they keep their teeth and their eyes, or how to get reimbursement when you sell your daughter into sexual slavery. I'm sure nobody at all is going to read this chapter or the hundreds of other ones that promote this type of bigotry and oppression, but I definitely understand why so many people just pick what they want out of the Bible. Ever thought that the Bible was written by a human being 3500 years ago that didn't know what a germ or a star was and put it under the category of God? But, just go ahead and continue seeing what you want to see. Say what you want about atheists, but I'm pretty sure I've been to Church many more times that a lot of you guys have read something that might contradict your own view. Ohhh, and congratulations on being born in a Christian society, I'm sure you worked hard for that. Otherwise you would be one of the billion in China or Asia that are going straight to hell.

Huckabee only won West Virginia because of a backroom deal. Slimy. I'm ashamed of him.

It appears that Ron Paul's integrity went out the window in that one too. I'm very disppointed in him, because I had thought him to be an honest man. They're all policians first though, eh? :-(

Didn't Huckabee lie about his education...? Didn't he claim to have a master's degree but it was discovered that he actually didn't finish....?

Romney can dish it but he can't take it. That's why people don't like him. There is a website called Mormonsagainstromney.com It's quite enlightning. If he wasn't a wealthy man, he would never have made it as far in this race as he has. Huckabee has done pretty well with just pennies compared to Romney's millions. I would be pretty embarrassed if I were Romeny spending millions of my own money to make people like me... and it wasn't working.

Any way the wind blows.....that's the way Mitt Romney goes.......
