Clinton on Letterman

Hillary says when she’s in the oval office, everyone will know who wears the pant suits. A good way to reach voters on the night before Super Tuesday.

Not to mention her town hall, which aired on a really horrible network, but showed her expert knowledge of the issues.

Most conservative republicans have been worried about John McCain’s stances on fiscal, social and economic issues and how he doesn’t relate to the conservative base on their many points. Although these worries are legitimate and something conservative voters must consider serious, they must also realize that this isn’t all. John McCain has not only proven bad on many conservative fiscal, social and economic issues, but is proving to be a serious threat to our nation’s security.

Before you discount the points about to be made please know and understand that each point will be based on fact and information that John McCain has been very vocal about. Everything said has to do with things that John McCain has said in open forums and can be substantiated on many accounts.

John McCain has touted his goodwill towards terrorist by criticizing any type of strong interrogation tactics. He has been loud in letting people know that he has heard the anti-American sentiment and feels it better to bring terrorist prisoners, awaiting questioning, onto American soil rather than have them in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo). He said- “I would immediately close Guantanamo Bay, move all the prisoners to Fort Leavenworth (an army base in Kansas) and truly expedite the judicial proceedings in their cases,”
Some of the interrogation tactics used at Gitmo have been dubbed as cruel and inhumane. His aggression towards those who believe such interrogation tactics are necessary is fueled by his own experiences while a POW in Vietnam. He mutters words of his horrible experiences and argues that no man should have to suffer as he did. His reasoning is much like his democrat comrade in that their ability to define torture and successful interrogation tactics is skewed. He might as well reason that war all together is wrong and the killing of terrorist is inhumane. Has killing ever been considered “humane”?
Logic tells me that when it comes to my life, my friends, my families and other American citizens lives we need to do anything and everything we can to keep our people safe! There is a difference between tearing people’s limbs off and using calculated interrogation tactics to get information. The bottom line is that we should always error on the side of preserving US citizen lives and stop worrying about how murderous terrorist are feeling in prison at Guantanamo Bay. Without successful interrogation of prison terrorists we risk the chance of another attack and losing American citizen lives.

The other danger of John McCain is his inability to understand that in order for terrorists to attack on our borders they have to first come through our borders. Again, touting his goodwill, McCain is now infamous amongst conservatives in the know for being the author of one of the most comprehensive amnesty bills that would allow illegal non-US citizens to obtain citizenship in almost a moments notice. The danger doesn’t lie within the amnesty, but in the message that it sends to people throughout the world. The flood gates would open and there would be an immediate influx of people on all sides and borders entering the United States.
Although McCain would now argue that he believes that securing the border is what needs to be done first, this point was never highlighted until he began running for presidency while depending on the vote of conservative republicans. When asked if he would now or later support his amnesty bill he is insistent on pointing out that he believes border security first, while altogether avoiding answering the original question of whether he would still support the bill.
If and when a terrorist attack occurs it wouldn’t be unwise to suggest that it will be in large part because of our weak border policies and our inability to curb a problem that has been past due for decades. John McCain stands in the way of stopping this problem and national security threat by holding strong to the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill. Amnesty rhetoric only fuels the problem and increases the chance of such attacks happening on American soil.

As outrageous as this may sound, John McCain wants to join the international criminal court (ICC) so that foreigners can try our soldiers and people as war criminals. Not only does this sound like a conspiracy and something that would get out of hand, but it is something that would enable other countries part of the ICC to have power and control over US citizens leading to politically motivated charges. Our conservative values state that we need to reduce government and the control government has over our lives, as this will eventually lead to a socialist/communist style of government. This type of Clintonesque political speak is something that is encouraging to terrorists giving them hope and a sense of welcome into scrutinizing our western civilized ways. By joining ICC we are essentially dividing this nation rather than uniting it and creating a bureaucracy for terrorists to use as a platform.

Part of our ability to stay safe in this world has to do with our ability to establish allies and have good working relations with other countries. We need to have someone who is a diplomat and understands how to work with people from all walks of life, even when the situation gets tense and heated. The ability to act as a diplomat and win over leaders of other countries has in large part to do with our Presidents personality, temperament and interpersonal relations with leaders of other countries. This must be done through persuasion and trust. This can only be achieved through having a record showing honesty, integrity and temperance when dealing with other people. John McCain’s record in politics and in his interpersonal relations has been less than stellar. It is evident through numerous people’s accounts about his intemperate “red-faced” tirades, his involvement in scandal (Keating 5) and Clintonesque twisting and misguiding of other people’s words makes him a sure candidate of mistrust. Although he is willing to “Maverick” his way into the populist anti-American sentiment, he is quick to show his defensive nature when legitimate accusations are made against him. America needs a President who possesses Reaganesque qualities, someone who understands when to be strong and when to hold back. These and other qualities will keep America’s foreign relations strong and ultimately keep us safe and supported.

When it comes to McCain’s willingness to fight a battle it’s easy to see that McCain would react fast and harsh after the fact; but at that point it would be too late. His terrorist “goodwill”, liberal rhetoric, and socialist thinking will enable terrorist with more abilities to carry out an attack on American soil. Our national security is at risk with John McCain in the white house.

Ah and there they are. One crazy and one conspiracy.

Listen, she is a politician not a President. She runs on her agenda alone and will not bring the country together. She is not even interested in doing so unless it is strictly under her terms. I am one of those that will vote anti-Hillary should she gets the Democratic nod.

Comment by Jay

Matt, every single one of them is a politician, and none of them is a president. Is there something in our water that causes this retardation?

Dobson Tears Apart McCain Today!!

“I’m deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, who voted for embryonic stem cell research to kill nascent human beings, who opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, and who has little regard for freedom of speech, who organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language,” Dobson said on the “Laura Ingraham” show.

“I am convinced Sen. McCain is not a conservative, and in fact, has gone out of his way to stick his thumb in the eyes of those who are. He has at times sounded more like a member of the other party.”

Dobson goes on to cite McCain’s flirtation with leaving the GOP in 2001 and with becoming Democrat John F. Kerry’s running mate in 2004, and his remarks praising Democrat Hillary Clinton. “Given these and many other concerns, a spoonful of sugar does not make the medicine go down,” Dobson said. “I cannot, and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience.”

Dobson said if McCain is the nominee, “I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime,” and he “simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life.”

“These decisions are my personal views and do not represent the organization with which I’m affiliated,” Dobson said. “They do reflect, however, my deeply held convictions about the institution of the family, about moral and spiritual beliefs, and about the welfare of our country.”

I am disgusted as a whole. I am in New York, Hillary Clinton’s (”home state”?); Nay. The voting booths are complicated and the positioning leaves much to be answered. Anyway my question is, what happens to the votes of the people who don’t follow this political process as closely as us junkies and vote for John Edwards. I hope someone is keeping close eye on the plotting evil wicked witch.

Thank You.

William from
New York.

William, Hillary Clinton does not decide how voting is set up, despite your irrational hatred.

To all you McCain supporters:

Why do you want this needless war to continue (we’re in the wrong country to begin with)? Why do you support the immigrants who are in this country without citizenship and living off the fat of our taxes? Why in the world would you want a fifty-cent tax on gasoline? Why do you want someone so old in office? The Office of the President requires sharp thinking and an extreme amount of energy. This position ages in dog years. Just look at the past Presidents now and when they first entered the Oval Office. McCain has a history of some very serious medical issues that could be fatal. Who will be his running mate? Good possibility the Vice will be the next President.

Just because he was a War Hero (he was a POW for 5 years and they broke his arms) does not make him qualified to run this country on the auspices that he would make a good Commander in Chief. Do you supporters think that just being good running a war gives you experience running a country?

Guys make sure you check out the article “The Intoxication of Inspiration” on the blogzine SAVAGE POLITICS (not related to Mike Savage) at http://www.savagepolitics.com. It is awesome……everyone should read it before voting.

I never fear for our Country unless I think about Hillary in the White House…I am deployed overseas right now and I get sick to my stomach just thinking about her as commander and chief…And just because she was the 1st lady does not make her qualified to run the Country either, being a senator, well we have seen what the folks on Capital Hill have done since the dems took over….NOTHING…well she has done something…not support the troops…

Elsylee, brilliant article. Thank you for sharing it.

Scott, thank you for your service, but you’re wrong. She will bring you home instead of letting you die. That’s more than any Republican will do for you.

Scott…Thank-You soooo much for your service. I have a son in the Coast Guard and I am so proud to be his Mother. But, Jay is right, Hillary will bring you home, where you belong!!

By the way, I really enjoyed Hillary on the David Letterman show. I think David Letterman liked her also. She did a great job!

Thank-you, Scott!
You are the most real and the most heartfelt truth-spoken one I’ve heard from!
In every respect you are correct; Hillary has no right to claim ‘experience’ in any shape or form. She has no clue as to the life you lead at the moment, and the ramifications of her actions to bring everyone home, lickety-split. (Obama has no right to say that, either)
I’m willing to bet that none of the respondents who want you home have ever lived or experienced the Middle East. Maybe if they looked beyond their backyards, they would see what you’re doing is critical, long-term to not only us, but the world. You are noble. You deserve to be supported fully by Congress, the President, and the people of the U.S.
Hillary & Camp Cop-Out is not the answer. No-one becomes stronger in this world by shrinking back into a shell, or behind a border.

Comment by Hillbilly Girl

I remember when Bill was in the White House, the Press said Hillary wore the pants then too. lol I have been watching this primary race, and the press has NOT given Hillary the same unbiased coverage they have given Obama. But Hillary you will prevail, because that’s what you do. I have elderly female family members that have been Republicans their whole life. But in 2008 they have voted for Hillary. I say vote for the first female President. You Go Girl!
