The Church of Fake Conservatism

Pasters/Ministers :- Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh

Associate Pasters:- Sean Hannity, Mitt Romney, Laura Ingram, Michelle Malkin

Beliefs:-

The poor can’t be conservative.

Only the Rich can be Conservative.

Worship Money.

Conservative has no compassion for the poor.

Conservative has no compassion for the immigrants,

Conservative has no compassion for blacks.

The only thing conservative cares about is reducing taxes.

It is O.K to be LIBERAL all your life and then convert to Conservatism in “the election year”

Living in California, I have watched the total destruction of my State.

In main part due to the things Mc Cain and Huckabee supported,

NO BORDER FENCE, AND AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS!

I do not care how those two attempt to white wash their previous stance,

It is much easier for me to believe Mitt, due to his anti illegal votes and actions

in his State of MA. much further from the Mexican Border than Mc Cains and

Many of those who endorse him!

Romney not a White House insider, will secure our Borders, reverse the trend

of illegal immigration.

Romney spoke in Detroit of bringing back manufacturing to America

not lose jobs to Asia and SUPPORTS OUR TROOPS!

Huckabee's splitter voters need to get on the ball and support Romney for President, or we will have the same ole same status quo! Illegal Immigration, liberal judges.

Nice job dallas Republican.... The ONLY continued questions about religion are asked of Huckabee
Seems to me alot of you Huckabee bashers are afraid this country might get back to wanting to use God in the pledge and keep " In God we Trust" on the coin.......Nobody ever said Rommney was "to Morman" but all we ever here is that Huckabee would be" pastor and Chief".... When did this country become so afraid of God?

Awe, don't be confused, Peter. You are right. So am I. All of the candidates were, are, or will be whining about something before this election concludes.

What bothers me more than the whining is when one candidate (and I'm not pointing to any one of them in particular) is devious, or downright malicious, toward the other. The "back-room" deals is what gets my goat (and they ALL do it!). The sad part about it all is that I'm sure that all of these candidates, as well as those past and present, begin with sincere and truly benevolent intentions. They really do want to do good things for our country and make a difference in the world. However, by the time they actually make it into office, they are corrupted in SOME way. I know that there are some who remain truer to their initial intentions and character than others, but I'd bet that the compromises (of character, etc.) that they have (or think they have) to make along the way are such that if they knew how it would all end up (or, rather, how they would), they might not go there in the first place.

I don't mean to be, nor like to be, cynical. Perhaps I was better off before I started paying close attention to politics ALL THE TIME, not just during the last few days/weeks of important election cycles. Perhaps ignorance was, after all, bliss.

I am confused. Isn't Romney the one who is whining about Huckabee taking away voters?

Hey Grant 1986:

What you have to say MIGHT be taken a bit more seriously (and perhaps even better represent your candidate of choice) if you would learn to spell. Ever heard the word "dictionary"? If you have a computer (which you obviously do), you have access to spell-checkers, at the least. If THIS is an example of the type of voter we have in the U.S. these days, God help us all.

So, McCain's delegates in W. VA. went to Huckabee, eh? Is there ANYONE out there who can still say (with a straight face, that is) that there is no "silent agreement" between Huckabee and McCain? I realize that Romney is the one who said "no whining" allowed, but come on...if this is the game that the McCain/Huckabee ticket is playing, then they should come right out and say so. Character, my arse. That old saying, "All's fair in love and war" needs to be revised. At first, I thought it should be "All's fair in love, war, and politics," but now I believe it should be "All's DEVIOUS in love, war, and politics." And, I don't like this kind of politics no matter WHO it comes from, the democrats, the republicans, or anyone else. What say you all?
