You are right. So am I. All of the candidates were, are, or will be whining about something before this election concludes. What bothers me more than the whining is when one candidate (and I'm not pointing to any one of them in particular) is devious, or downright malicious, toward the other. The "back-room" deals is what gets my goat (and they ALL do it!). The sad part about it all is that I'm sure that all of these candidates, as well as those past and present, begin with sincere and truly benevolent intentions. They really do want to do good things for our country and make a difference in the world. However, by the time they actually make it into office, they are corrupted in SOME way. I know that there are some who remain truer to their initial intentions and character than others, but I'd bet that the compromises (of character, etc.) that they have (or think they have) to make along the way are such that if they knew how it would all end up (or, rather, how they would), they might not go there in the first place. I don't mean to be, nor like to be, cynical. Perhaps I was better off before I started paying close attention to politics ALL THE TIME, not just during the last few days/weeks of important election cycles.
