Romney Campaign Ad Buy

San Diego, CA

The Romney campaign revealed today that they will hit the airwaves with a very large ad buy. This is after reports surfaced yesterday that they had not bought any ad space in February 5th states. The campaign won’t release what states besides California they will be advertising in, but Carl Cameron reported earlier today that it would be five other Super Tuesday states. Romney said it isn’t possible to advertise everywhere, even joking that maybe he should have spent less in the early states:

“I don’t think it’s possible to flood the airwaves in 22 states. I have authorized a seven-figure-I won’t give you the exact number-but seven-figure advertising buy for our campaign. We talked about which states they’ll be-California is among the states,” Romney said, “And so we’ll be advertising, but frankly at this stage, I don’t think anyone will be advertising on a per person basis at the level we did in Iowa and New Hampshire, Michigan, Florida-those were the early states. We all invested pretty heavily in those early states. I’m sure some of us wish we had invested less early and could do more now.”

The campaign re-launched an ad today in California that previously aired in December, “Experience Matters.”

As I see it, the only real hope for America and Americans is Mitt Romney. Romney is the only candidate with the personal resources, proven expertise, and the will to stand up to the insider lawyer/politicians and fix Washington so that the people’s servants in both parties actually serve the people again, instead of their power hungry selves and the biased interests of lobbyists.

3 Cheers for Romney!! Hip Hip Hooray

I am writing to strongly encourage you to drop out of the Presidential primary race and endorse Governor Mike Huckabee. At this point, realistically, you are very unlikely to garner more support and delegates than Senator McCain. Even if you were to do so, a huge percentage of American voters will refuse to vote for you (as, indeed, they will if John McCain wins) because they perceive you to be “not conservative enough”, and the Democratic candidate (whoever it may be) will end up winning the election. However, if you back Mr. Huckabee, and he wins the primary, your influence with more moderate citizens his with conservative and Christian voters, would be a huge force to be reckoned with, especially since it is this conservative block that is largely responsible for President Bush’s reelection in 2004. The liberal media understands this, and, therefore, how dangerous Mike Huckabee’s candidacy would be for the Democratic Party, which is why their tactics during the past few weeks have been to smear, distort, downplay or completely ignore him. Please take this into consideration and do not allow this to happen to our country. We cannot afford to lose the White House this year. Do the right thing for America.

Governor Mike Huckabee should drop out of the race. There are only two candidates left in the race. McCain and Romney! A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. Should McCain win the nomination, my vote goes to Hillary Clinton. I’ve made up my mind a long time ago so don’t bother!

Romney is the perfect president. Some of the folks in Huckabee’s camp need to come over and realize what he is made of. A top graduate from Harvard MBA with a JDA, almost 0 scandals (compared to MccCain’s Keating 5), he is not a populust with a Union Mentality (like Huckabee) to bring down business, wall-street dislikes both McCain and Huckabee who don’t have real world work experience, Kramer from MSNBC call Romney the best business man in North America. I think the real problem is some of these fanatical bible thumpers who believe King James version of the bible is more important than getting the best candidate. I don’t want to have to prey for my president (like Jimmy Carter) but I want the one who can do the job so I can continue to be happy when I go to Church every Sunday.

Huckabee would rather see anyone other than a mormon as president. He will never step aside and endorse Romney. He will instead endorse the adulterer who cheated on his disabled wife so he could marry rich and buy a seat in congress McCain. Mr. Straight talk who blatantly lied about Romney on Iraq and won’t even admit it when he is caught in the lie.

Huck needs to realize that helping McCain is helping a guy who cheated on his disabled wife, married his rich mistress and had her dad buy his Congress seat for him.

Both Romney and Huck made themselves what they are. They are hard workers and success stories. I will be supporting Mitt in the election. Dear God, please not McCain.

Fellow Republicans…..we have to unite to stop McCain. He is not a true republican. If we do not unite and stop this man from become the nomine then we will lose the soul of the true Republican Party. The only person who has a legitimate chance of beating McCain is Mitt Romney. Like him or not, it’s the truth. Huckabee supporters, band together with the rest of us who are true conservatives of the Republican Party to stop this imposter McCain! Look at the facts, Mitt Romney is our only legitimate chance. Back in 2001 McCain came very close to leaving the Republican Party to become a Democrat. That should show all of us that he is not a true Republican and conservative. He is willing to do ANYTHING to win the white house. He is telling us all what we want to hear that that we will support him. However, when he gets into office he will side with the Democrats on a majority of the issues. I’ve attached an article proving just how close McCain was to leaving the Republican Party back in 2001

Send a message to Washington. It is the voters’ money the federal politicians are spending when farmers in the Midwest are paid not to farm their fields. Send a message to Washington. It is the voters’ money the federal politicians are spending when tons of pears are left to rot in the fields and oranges are left on the trees in California while produce and canned goods are imported and placed on our shelves. It is not politicians’ money they want to spend to give amnesty to 12 million illegals. It is the voters’ money.

Send a message to Washington that “endorsements” from the good old boys club does not buy votes…that voters are thinking, reasoning people who can make up their minds on their own without being told who they should vote for.

Send a message to Washington that conservatives still exist and family values exist and Washington politicians are paid with the voters’ money and are hired to do the will of the people. Send a message to Washington that we know the government has no money except what the voters give them.

Send a message to Washington because we have a dedicated man willing to sacrifice to get that message delivered. Go to mittromney.com and send a contribution for whatever you can afford if it is only $5, $10 or $25 because if you don’t, you might not get another chance to rein in Washington for a long time.

Thanks for helping me make up my mind and send what little cash I have to Mike Huckabee. You all have alot nerve trying to tell people a vote for Huckabee is a lost vote. Your Mitt is a flip floper today just as he was in the past and is anything but a conservative.

HUCKABEE supporters: I think Mike is a great guy, but the reality of the situation is that this is a two man race at this point and a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. Please, do not give McCain a free pass to the White House. He is not a conservative and splitting the social conservative votes between Romney and Huckabee will only assure a McCain victory!

This is our LAST CHANCE to have a conservative in the White House - make your vote count!!!
Vote for ROMNEY!!!!! or no telling what kind Supreme Court Justices we will get!!!

Here is the dirty big secret that Dick Morris, the Democrats and liberal media do not want McCain and Huckabee supporters to understand until AFTER the Republican primary is over:

1. a vote for Huckabee at this point in the race is a vote for McCain. Huckabee cannot win the primary and is almost out of money.

2. a vote for McCain in the Primary is a vote for Obama or Clinton in the general election.

McCain cannot win the general election and McCain knows that without the base of the Republican party he, like Dole before him, will loose. The base will never support liberal McCain. Anyone voting on super Tuesday and beyond who is considering McCain or Huckabee needs to think long and hard about the impact of their vote. If you prefer President Obama or Clinton over Romney, then vote for McCain or Huckabee my friends.

ALL REPUBLICANS NEED TO FLOOD THE INTERNET WITH THIS MESSAGE, SHARE AND DEBATE IT WITH MCCAIN AND HUCKABEE SUPPORTERS AND TAKE BACK OUR PARTY………WE CAN WIN THE WHITEHOUSE IN ‘08!!

Folks,

We (the Repbulicans) may not have much hope this year, but Mitt represents what hope we do have.

Among the dozens of negatives I could quote about Juan McCain. This is among the worst.

Democrats say McCain nearly abandoned GOP
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/democrats-say-mccain-nearly-abandoned-gop-2007-03-28.html

He went crying to the Democrats becuase he lost the election to Bush 43. How can we ever trust him or take him seriously again!?!

I don’t listen to what the candidates say. Some will say anything. The media will report anything. If you watched the last debate, you saw McCain unashamably trying to twist words right in front of our eyes. Watch what they do. A dozen times I’ve seen McCain trash Republican values for fame and attention. Think back at the bills he supported…He isn’t a Republican! He can say what he wants…in the last ten years he hasn’t earned my vote by his actions! He’s played on the Democratic team more than once!
I am so impressed with Mitt Romney. I am impressed with his experience, his college honors and work ethic, his work experience in the private sector, and at the Olympics. But most of all I’m impressed with his family. You don’t have to watch the Romney family long before you realize Mitt and Anne have their priorities straight. They took care of the most important job in their lives…their own family. They would represent us well in the world and bring honor to our country and would be fantastic models for our young people.
If we want to win in November, let’s nominate someone that would contrast with Hillary.
Go Mitt!

I am wondering if Huckabee would consider a VP offer (should it ever come his way) and quietly drop out now? Mitt really does have the background in business, the ability to gather people together, and the personality to reach out to all here in the US as well as abroad - If we want a win in November, it would have to be Mitt… he is the one who is MOST unlike a Democrat!!
McCain … well, let’s jut say I am surprised by his success thus far - All signs point to Mitt -
So, Mitt - stay the course, don’t get too nasty with comments, and win over those who do not yet see your vision for America -
