Let us look at McCain’s conservative credentials:

-IMMIGRATION: he wrote the bill granting amnesty to illegal immigrants (co-sponsored by Ted Kennedy)
-SOCIAL SECURITY: he voted to give your social security money to illegal immigrants
-TAXES: he voted against the Bush tax cuts multiple times (he has since flip-flopped and has campaigned as a lifelong tax-cutter)
-RHETORIC: he routinely engages in Democratic class warfare against big companies in America, particularly the “evil” drug companies who research cures to debilitating diseases for a profit
-ECONOMY: as recently as December 2007 he admitted “he does not know the economy very well” and needed to get better at it
-1ST AMENDMENT: he wrote the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill that was declared to be an unconstitutional infringement of the 1st Amendment (co-sponsored by ultra-liberal Democrat Russ Feingold)
-2ND AMENDMENT: he was called the “worst 2nd amendment candidate” by the president of the NRA
-ENERGY TAX: wrote a bill (co-sponsored by his buddy Lieberman) imposing a massive tax on energy which, according to the Department of Energy, would drastically raise the price of gasoline and put 300,000 Americans out of work
-GLOBAL WARMING: supports radical global warming legislation which involved him voting with every Democrat; think only America is responsible to take action, not other superpowers
-JUDGES: he joined forces with Democrats (Gang of 14) to block the Senate Republican’s attempt to confirm conservative, strict constructionist judges
-WAR ON TERROR: fought with Hillary Clinton to demand that terrorists be given a full American trial
-GAY MARRIAGE: he joined liberals to fight against a federal marriage amendment supporting the institution of traditional marriage
-CHRISTIANS: campaigning in 2000, he famously described Christian leaders as “agents of intolerance”
-PRO-LIFE: he filed an amicus brief against pro-life advocates in Wisconsin
-BI-PARTISANSHIP: he met with leading Democrats in 2004 to discuss the possibility of being John Kerry’s Vice-President
-PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: ringleader of the infamous Keating 5 ethical scandal which cost US tax payers $160 billion (Google it)
-PERSONAL ETHICS: McCain cheated on his first wife after she had a severe accident. He then divorced her and married his multi-millionaire mistress, whose daddy bought McCain a spot in the Congress

McCain doesn’t have to run ads. He poses behind the biggest desk he could find, drapes it with red white and blue with his buddies at his side and out-right lies about Mitt Romney. Fox news takes these lies and repeats them over and over again - FOR FREE!! I was an avid Fox viewer. I believed it truly was “fair and balanced”. The O’Reiley factor is the only program that I have any respect for any more. Even the stupid little ticker at the bottom is bias. When Romney is ahead the ticker reads, “Mcain and Romney are close”. When McCain was ahead even by the slightest margin the ticker read, “McCain leads polls”. It is so obvious!! Maybe Bill is so comfortable in his ratings he can stand up to the men with strings behind the curtain. I still have faith in my buddy Hannity. I hear he will have the REAL interview with Romney and show what he really said about our troops and Iraq on Hannity and Colmes tonight. I hope all of Florida watches and learns first hand what a liar and coward the real John McCain is - not to mention a hypocrite !!

Romney has my vote. McCain is simply too old, and too Washington for me. GO ROMNEY!!!

If you were to block out the spins from the media and simply study out the candidates history, their takes on issues, their ethics, etc. ROMNEY would be your clear vote, so go do the homework. ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!

Romeny has my vote!

If McCain wins Florida primary, something’s wrong with Floridians and if he wins the nomination, something is terribly wrong with Republicans and if he becomes President, i’ll feel sorry for America. Another Democrat in power for the next 4 years; more hardship ahead of us. Listen to Rush Limbaugh people while you still have the time. MSM is quite biased and that’s so evident.

Vote intelligently! The choice is clear. Mitt ‘08

If Romney had the backing from liberals (including media like McCain) ….. there would be no contest. Romney would win hands down.

But… Romney is a conservative. He has done a great job considering all that is against him. Well done, Romney..

For the People - Our vote goes to Mitt Romney!!!!

Romney is the true conservative, at least that is what he is saying today. He is just buying the White House…. He is worse than Bush. Makes me sick.

My vote goes to Mitt!

I find it very interesting that Huckabee is not listed at all above! And He is still running third right with Rudy! He is a real conservative with a real heart. I don’t care how you vote if you don’t have the heart you ain’t worth a FLIP! Too bad he can’t just buy the White House like Romney!

Comment by Philip

I find it interesting how all you Romney-ites conveniently seem to forget all the “adjustments” he made to his positions when he decided to become a “conservative” candidate for the Republican nomination and President.

What about Ron Paul?

I have just looked through all of Carl’s blogs and comments. I am once again disturbed by the fact that Dr. Paul was never mentioned at all. It is the job of news to report on ALL candidates not to edit for us. If you look at the polls you will find a direct correlation between who is reported on and their poll numbers. Be fair. Give the public information on all the candidates. Do not try to decide the election for us.

Comment by Mark Schultz

I am very disturbed by the lack of knowledge in most Americans as to how our country was set up to run by the founding fathers. Comparing all the candidates standings on the issues, it matters not who you vote for they spew the same thing.
I will give you more and you will pay lower taxes. I will protect you from the monsters in the closet, (but you must give a few of your rights paid for with the blood of your forefathers.) Although we may never be able to rid ourselves of all the monsters and we will fight them for a hundred years if need be. Anyone not disturbed by this should stay home on election day, since you are standing in the way of those that truly have the good of nation at heart. The democrats of which i am one want to spend us into oblivion. If I max out my credit cards and then borrow all my 401 to pay for them and then take out loans to pay them and then borrow from all my friends to pay them and then sell all my valubles to pay them, sooner or later you run out of places to go and you end up broke, homeless and destitute. This is where we as a country are now. We are borrowing from those that most want to see us fail as a nation. McCain wants to kill first and ask questions later. Romney wants to run it like a corp. We just went through 7 years being run by a MBA and we see where our economy is now. This country is not a corp. It is time to take our country back from big business and the money changers. The is a country of, for and by the people. And only the people.
go to the Ron Paul website and just look. If you don’t agree then vote for your cookie cutter president. My vote means more to me than just hoping to vote for the one in my party that everyone says can win. I love this country and I hope it means enough to you to spend 10 minutes looking close at all the candidates.
