I find it amusing that everyone keeps saying that Mr. Romney changes so much like a chameleon... Hummm.. Let see here... Let's look at the other chameleons: Sen. McCain has changed his stance on tax cuts by trying to distance himself from his previous votes in the senate. He also is trying to change by distancing his stance on amnesty for illegals in our country. Gov. Huckabee might be the popular feel-good-speaker, but likes to change the minds of juries and judges, by pardoning a boat load of felons and some murderers, including one that went out and murdered again... I personally feel that if a jury and judge find someone guilty, they usually are. (Yes there are sad cases where this went wrong, just read John Grisham's "An Innnocent Man.") Thus you have a one-man jury pardoning tons of felons because it's the "right thing to do." You also have Gov. Huckabee being the chameleon on taxes. Instead of talking about how much he RAISED taxes in his state, therefore not cutting the fat, he now has come up with a flat tax, that all the economic groups are sighting won't work or even make a difference. As for Mr. Guiliani, he only has 9/11 and and cleaning up New York. Forget the part about his police chief, who he recommended to be the chief of homeland security, being found out to be corrupt. And forget about the group of NYC 9/11 firemen that are following him all around Florida trying to share their opinion of how things really went in NYC, compared to the national view of what people think he did.
What I'm getting at is that all politicians will change tone, when new conditions arise. Heaven forbid a candidate have an experience (like Mr. Romney did when a member of his distant family had a terrible experience with abortion) or learned even more about a topic, that they change their views.
I think that everyone is jealous that a man who had a brilliant career out reviving companies from bankruptcy to success, reviving the olympics from a debt to a surplus, and reviving Mass. from debt to surplus. Isn't this a man people should want to lead them too. He is a true conservative. He cut taxes, cut the fat, and helped these organizations. He is a wonderful family man, married his high school sweet heart, and is so good, that people now despise him for his successes in life, so they attack his wealth and his religion. (Oh, and that's so Christlike...) I personally think more people should worry about their own personal faith and repentance, before they start attacking other churches. Mr. Romney is a good guy. If he can make a difference in one of the most democratic states in the country, don't you think he can make a diffeence in a democratically controlled congress?

"Please don’t confuse the mormon faith with chiristian faith, Dr. Cole. There is a huge difference."

First of all if you are truly Christian you might want to capitalize the "C" especially if you put my name in the same sentence and capitalize my name. I ask that you might try to study the Nicene creed and other similar creeds. In it you will find that this is a culmination of many religious scholars that were trying to come up with the definition of God. There were many ideas before this, such as God being three separate beings yet united purpose, God and Christ being of flesh and bone. You have your classification of Christianity based off of what you have been taught and from what you interpret in the Bible. I might ask you that you would ask your minister, pastor, or priest about the Nicene Creed and their knowledge of it. I can tell that if you were to deviate from this creed centuries ago you were looked at and viewed as "false doctrine." Tell me how many churches out there completely follow the Nicene Creed of 325 AD...NONE. Not even the Catholic Church does. So how can we hold all religions to what we pick and choose about the Nicene Creed and call them Christian of none Christian? I don't know...I guess that we shouldn't then.

While I'm not sure who I'm voting for, I do have a short list. It does include Romney because I like his family values and I have studied and talked with family members about how "Mormons" or Latter Day Saints view public policy and foreign policy. I love their welfare program and so have past presidents...that's why some of the Latter Day Saint's have served in different cabinet positions over the decades...including the current Sect. of HHS. They are well respected by the Chinese people and Government. I believe that we can forge some newer and stronger ties to help civil rights in China as well as help China develop changes in their Green House Gases and Oil consumption...this in turn would help our economy by decreasing oil prices and who knows maybe help save our planet. As a small business owner I love the Idea that Mitt has for no income taxes for those of 65. It is very difficult for me to hire someone of that age because of the amount of training involved and paying them what they deserve. I would be able to hire them under his plan and it would drastically give our economy a boost since the baby boomers are very quickly beginning to retire. I honestly feel that Mitt is the candidate that is most likely able to turn this economy around. After seeing what he did for his own company, Olympics, Massachussets, completing Harvard Law Degree at the same time as his Harvard MBA, his father's success in turning around American Motors and Michigan...what can I say...this guy has the most knowledge of any of the candidates when it comes to economics. McCain may know more about fighting the war on Terror, but with what he has shown us over the decades about being the most liberal republican on Capitol Hill...I just don't know and with Huckabee trying to attack his religion...I don't know what he will attack about the Muslim Faith if he can degrade a fellow American like that.

I know that Mitt has changed his position on several different social issues...and yes I have issues of my own about those changes...but he has explained them enough for me to continue looking at him as the candidate I might vote for.

Wake up you Romney Robots. A few short years ago your Mitt was a disciple of Ted Kennedy and said he was NOT anything like Reagan and Bush (check out You Tube). Two weeks ago he was hammering Huckabee about "how dare Huckabee not agree 100% with all of Bush's policies", and “I’m the only true Reagan Conservative”. A few days later he was shouting "Washington is Broken and I'm the Change Candidate". What will he say and Who will he be tomorrow? I’ll tell you who, whoever he thinks he needs to be or say to get the next vote.

I guess it depends on what the definition of “SAW” is! “If I imagined it, then I SAW it, same thing”. I’ve been an avid hunter all my life”. HUH?

He needs to take up wind surfing too!

Well,
THis is the reason I am voting for Mitt Romney.....
To attack ones faith is very un-American, especially if you are a Baptist Preacher running for President.
Mitt has a great Family, Education, List of accomplishments......
as far as "changing positions daily" What a Lie, and people are starting to see past that
"Soundbite" and understand his change on the abortion issue.
I changed my view....I am now pro=choice if I would have to vote on it....pro-life in a personal setting......

Go Mitt! Romney in 08 and beyond!
