I’d like Mr. Riches to tell us what Mayor Giuliani should have done prior to 9-11 to prepare for a terrorist attack. As a deputy chief, maybe Mr. Riches could tell us how he personally was “preparing” for a terrorist attack in the days prior to 9-11. What a partisan stooge. I have been stating this for months and finally someone in the profession come out and calls Rudy on his claim that he can lead the nation against terrorism. He has never fought or even hunted for a terrorist. He and New York Firefighters, Police and public employees did a great job AFTER the attacks. But Rudy was incharge of the clean up. That is all. He has no real life For Profit Economic experience to run on against the Democrats in Nov. Its the Economy stupid and as all of the Democratic candidates stated in the South Carolina Democratic Debates ‘they all can beat McCain which means they know they can all beat Rudy.’ They would have called Rudy on the carpet for his fighting terrorism claim. Now the Democrats do not have to and its back to the Economy Stupid and the Democrats know McCain has to platform and does not know how to the get the economy running at full steam - He voted against the Bush tax plan that shot the economy up like a rocket. McCain VOTED against the greatest ecomonic recovery in the last 5 years.

The Democrats can’t run on the economy issue either as they know that Mitt Romney will nail them on the fact that Bill Clinton did nothing for the economy. He and the democrats lucked out that the internet took off during his years. Pres. Clinton had nothing to do with the internet economy - it was the universities and Republican businessmen that made the economy take off.

This why they are stating ‘it looks like McCain will win the Republican nomination and we can easily beat him. It is a Bait and Switch tactic. They want McCain to win because no one wants to run against Romney with the economy being the main issue in November. They want McCain because he is only a spender of peoples money and never has run his own For Profit business. McCain running the economy is like be running a war. Failure by both.

Romney is the only Republican candidate that can defeat the Democrats woman and black platform. Yes that is the Democrat’s platform as they have no other platform to get votes.

A vote for McCain, Huckabee & Rudy is a vote for a Democrat in the White House in 2009 and complete democrat control of DC. Your taxes are going to sky rocket to pay for all the Democrat fat cats meals and hand outs.

In Florida, a high vacation and retirement state, it is surprising that McCain is even getting any support as he is anti-business which means your retirement funds drop in value and your dividends go away as companies pull them back due to economic downturn.

I recently played golf in Florida with a retired NYC firefighter. I told him I’m a Guiliani supporter, and I hoped he didn’t hold that against me. He indicated that Giuliani is a good candidate, and what the firefighters union is doing to undermine Giuliani is bogus.

I don’t know that what the Firefighters are doing is bogus. The have a beef with Rudy that in their eyes is legitimate. I had heard this was going to happen, but I was told that the IAFF was going to hold off until November should Rudy get the nomination. If you remember, that’s what the SwiftBoaters did, they kept their mouth shut until Kerry was the presumptive nominee. Republicans should be glad that the IAFF is rolling out their attacks now thus giving GOP voters a better chance to assess their chances of winning with Rudy G.

These accusations about the firefighters who had inadequate radios dying and those who didn’t getting out safely have been going around for a long time and so was the complaint about Giuliani making the WTC the city’s emergency center, knowing it was a terrorist target and had been attacked in the past. Has anyone heard the press even mention it in this campaign or bring it up in the debates? Rudy’s whole thing is about 9-11, he reminds us of it constantly, so they’ve had plenty of opportunity to bring it up. I haven’t seen anything. Why the cover up by the NY media?

And why don’t firefighters and swiftboat vets have as much a right to free speech as politicians or you do? Are some of you people trying to turn this into a fascist country? I don’t think we are free to lie, so want to know about the radios. The rest of what they said in this ad are facts, as far as I know.

If this was a ploy by Democrats to get a Democrat elected, they would have saved it for the general election. Maybe it’s an act of revenge. All I care about is the truth, let’s figure it out.

I think we’re missing something here…..Rudy did pick up the pieces after 911 in a very effective manner, proving……Whoever wins the Presidential Election next year needs to appoint Rudy to head up Homeland Security! He’s ideally suited for this job, unlike the one he’s currently vying for.

Just want to say I disagree with what they said about Giuliani exploiting 9-11, he was the mayor, he has a right to point to his record during that time. Just saying that leads me to believe the motives for this are vindictive, but I still want to know about the radios.

It’s true, hundreds of Firemen died, but not the policement, because their radios worked. Rudy replaced bad radios with more bad radios using a no-bid contract. He also used building #7, and thereafter, the owner donated $100K to Rudy. See the video which catches Rudy lying about all of this. He did clean up the mess, in a hurry, instead of allowing for a complete investigation, thus, many body parts were sent to the dump. He was more interested in getting Wall Street back on track, then tracking body parts. Do you really want someone who dresses up in drag to be President?

Who cares if they are Democrats or not? The Dems have nothing to gain from smearing Rudy Guiliani in the primary. He is in last place and will not likely win FL (I am a NE FL resident). I do agree with this mailer. He is a self-promoter with no Republican ideals. He does not represent the platform and I hope he crashes and burns in Florida. There are very few candidates that I believe could beat the Hillary train. One just dropped out and another I am concerned may be in this race for the wrong reasons. In my Republican mind the only person I can vote for is Mr. Conservative Ron Paul. Barry Goldwater would be proud to see Dr. Paul carrying on his legacy with such enthusiasm.

There are still many unexplained issues around the events of September 11th, 2001. In addition, there are also questions to be asked about how thorough the investigations were. Start from seeing the good in people, but if people do not answer questions then Americans have a right to ask more. It should be the global media’s role to ask questions when politicians don’t. So let me give you an example.

On January 11th 2008 member of Parliament Fujita Yukihisa of the Japan Democratic party, made a 20 minute long statement at the House of Councillors, the upper house of the Diet (parliament) of Japan. He questioned the official version of 9/11 presented to the Japanese government and the public by the US administration in a session of the defense commission. It would appear that two planes causing three collapses in New York is causing them some concern.

Now, I am not a conspiracy theorist…. but why has this not been reported on our news stations or in our printed media? I live in the UK and have been trying to get radio stations to talk about this but they will not. A blind eye is being turned to the issues.

To stunned - Rudy made his handling of 9-11 the issue, he’s using it as a reason to vote for him, so it is fair to question what he did. They are also union and supporting Democrats, that makes no sense considering how the Clintons stripped our military and they were the ones in power when the CIA/FBI and ICE was such a mess, a problem which Bush inherited when he became president and led to 9-11, to begin with! No, I do not think they are completely honest, neither is Giuliani, and take it from there…

So do our volunteer firefighters in this town. If YOU knew your radios were inadequate, then it was YOUR JOB to see that they got new ones and not send them into those towers without them. The add is distastful. But I have said and said that on issues that matter to me Guiliani is a raging liberal, and does not support or represent the values the replublican party espouses.
I admit I am more conservative than most, but my voice counts too, so while I am not sure who will get my vote, odds are it will more a matter of voting against guiliani and other lefters, and to a lesser extent trying to find a conservative who is tough enough to do the job. (lets huckabee out, sorry.)

One more thing, I tried the website that asks you questions about abortion, gay marriage, faith etc. then matches your candidate. Duncan Hunter seems to speak for me. I just wish he had been heard in the debates. Maybe others would have heard him speak for them too.
