Clinton clearly won the Debate! For the most part Obama stumbled through most of the hard line questions. At one point he mumbled for about 2 minutes without the ability to stay on track. It was clear that without a written speech, Obama lacks the ability to seriously debate the facts. And voting 130 times present? Seems Obama rides the fence when it comes to voting, just like he rode the fence last night during the debate. By this I mean the statement made by Obama when it came to his agreeing with Republicans! Then during the debate when this serious issue was presented he once again claimed that’s’ not what he meant?? Again Obama rode the fence and basically voted “Present” on that question. And I see no problem with Former President Clinton helping out with the campaign, seeing that in the Clinton years most of all Americans had it pretty good! The economy was excellent, he drop the deficit and turned it into a surplus. It certainly seems Obama has something to hide and that is he has “NO” experience what-so-ever to run this Country! 130 times on the fence! That should be unacceptable in anyone eyes. And the African American community needs to wake up a understand that it takes experience, leadership and most of all someone who can make hard line decisions and not ride the fence 130 times to play it safe. 130 times seems to me that someone is either pandering to the corporate lobbyist or is in favor of the Republican Party’s’ issues?? Who’s’ side is Obama really on? If Obama can not make hard line decisions as a Senator, what in Gods’ green earth make anyone believe he can take on the Office of President of The United States. This is a serious weakness on Obamas’ part and people around the World will take advantage of his weakness of not being able to make Hard Line decisions’. And extremist will have a field day with him because they already know his lacks the ability to make a stand on issues. What I say is fact, even if Obama out the remote chance wins the Democratic Party Nomination, Clinton supporters will not support Obama, in fact many would cross the Party lines and Vote for a Republican or not even waste the time to Vote at all. And one last thing, Polls mean nothing, as shown in the NH debates. For the most part Clinton supporters are a ‘SILENT” majority, the sit back and wait in silence for the Primary to kick in. As you have seen in the NH Caucuses. Wake up People, this is a fight for our Country’s’ Future, I would in no way Vote for someone based on their Gender as I would Vote for someone based upon the Color of their skin. I have kept a close eye on 3 recently, who are African American both male and female genders, who praise Obama every chance they get while on-air. One even goes as far to suggest to Obama on how to handle certain issues, as if Obama is listening and you know what I think he is! LOL I come to think that maybe the candidates are not playing the race card, it starting to look as if the media is the ones doing it. As always, Obama is a gentleman to the core.

He won the debate hands down. Hillary had nothing new, she just repeated the same old stuff. She didn’t know when to stop the attacks, and attacked, and attacked, and attacked, and attacked. It’s boring writing about it. She even forgot to go through her policy points.

Obama was on target. He addressed his attackers with respect, but nailed the attacks. He talked about his legislation, which Hillary could not parry.

Hillary looked stunned. She has been brilliant in other debates, I admit, but in this one, something threw her off. She never looks good when she attacks. Obama does better, he can do it without lying and loosing control.

Guess that’s why Hillary has Bill. But, back to Hillary, what legislation has she passed?

Edwards looked like the good little candidate who doesn’t indulge in back and forth, but he has never had to defend against the relentless false attacks by the Clintons that Obama has over the past three months. The Clintons are a Tonya Harding tag team.

I fail to see your point. What false things did Mr. Obama say about Mr. and Mrs Clinton. They gave a speech where she mentioned that without LBJ Mr. King’s progress woudl have been untennable. I beleive it is fair to say that without Dr. King and his movement LBJ wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything because there would not be a movement asking for Civil Rights. Obviuosly they both were needed to bring about change but why did the Clinton’s use this point? The the Clinton’s campaign was caught in Iowa and New Hampshire spreading fliers that said that Mr. Obama is a Muslim just before the primaries took place. Mrs. Clinton did the right thing and let the campaign staffer go. Bill goes on the stage and says that Obama campaign is a “fairy-tale” then Mr Obama’s campaing responds. The circle keeps on going around and around, but you see the instigator in all cases has been the Clinton’s. Come on people, we all dislike liars and we are all weary of politicians using double speak (check out the real McCain website he’s got some highlights) but to be fair times change and so do the positions that politicians take. However the only person who has been caught telling out-right lies on the democratic side as far as I can tell is the Clinton campaign trying to use the fear of Republicans ideas that Obama clearly did not say. If you look at the interview, which is somewhat open to interpretation, you will see that he says that Reagan was able to be transformative president in a way that Clinton was not. For one, go out and read some literture about the 1980’s and Reagan and you will see that he was quite the popular president despite his anti-union attitudes and pro-amnesty policies. Prior to Reagan iti would be a failed position to take an anti-union attitude! Obviously he was pro-business, not pro-employee, and Clinton followed in his footsteps, ala keeping the business community happy and well fed. Then Mr Obama goes on to state that Republicans were the party of ideas during the 80’s and 90’s, and if we can all remember into our past we can see anti-union, gay bashing, pro-gun, greed, lack of empathy, pro-life, etc ideolgy all over the landscape of the past 25 years. Notice I did not say fiscal conservative, we can only thank Clinton for balancing the budget, while keeping the status-quo in check!

It is mind boggling how short our memories as democrats are. Remember the mess at the end of the Clinton years? If you’re nostalgic for continued fighting and rancor, go ahead and vote for Clinton. Also, if you’re nostalgic for trash and tawdry coverage, vote for Clinton. She is no more intelligent, no more passionate, and no more likely to be a better President than Obama. In fact, Obama is more likely to set a new tone and engender some reconciliation.

Furthermore, Bill and Hillary are really setting themselves up for a series of hard blows re: Lewinsky, Flowers, Whitewater, Hsu, Gupta, etc. If the media is truly fair — CNN is notoriously sycophantic with whoever has the momentum — they will cover some of the Clinton history.

As for some of your accusations, it’s the first I’ve heard of any of them. It wouldn’t surprise me if you fudged a few facts to get them. As for Reagan, I never said he wasn’t popular then. Please stop pulling things out of the air, and for the record — Bill Clinton left office more popular than Ronald Reagan. I cannot believe the number of naive Democrats who are so taken in by right wing spin that they really think the Clintons caused their own problems. All the lofty rhetoric in the world would not have made a difference. Obama is getting upset about routine political attacks, probably because he has never had to run in a competitive race. After all, he got to the Senate by running against the crackpot Alan Keyes. If he is the nominee, he will get slimed by the right. As history has clearly shown, but a lot of you seem to not understand, they do not reserve this kind of treatment for just the Clintons.
Everyone should read “The Hunting of the President” by Joe Conason and Gene Lyons. Maybe then you will understand what we are up against. To get a taste of what went on read this:

The Rezko matter is proof positive that Obama is nothing more than an Illinois machine politician and not the “standard bearer of change” he claims to be.
He’s also endorsed party hacks like Toddler Stroger and Alexi Giannoulos. Where’s the “change” here in Illinois, Barack? You know, the state you’re SUPPOSED TO BE REPRESENTING!

I agree these are reasonable questions:
Are we so stupid that we would believe that Obama just happened to coincidentally write a letter on behalf of Rezkos co. so that co. could get public funding for their business? All that we know of IL and Cook County politics. Do people really think that we are that stupid. Also helping Obama pay $300,000 less for his house, my question is what did Obama do for Rezko in order to get that “help”. Also now looking at how Obama used his PAC to buy support in Iowa and NH really makes me wonder how anyone could support this corrupt Cook County Hack.

Obama supporters, ask yourself these questions regarding Senator Obama:
Why did he get a cheaper price on his house? (While Rezko’s wife paid the full asking price for the land, Obama paid $300,000 under the asking price for the house. The house sold for $1,650,000 and the price Rezko’s wife paid for the land was $625,000.)

Why did he do business with a man he knew was under investigation by the FBI? I do understand wanting to defend your candidate but this is reality and we can’t afford to loss this election, and, my god, the country certainly can’t afford it. There are two other democratic candidates in this race who have a much greater chance of defeating the Republican nominee in the fall. Here’s another question you should ask yourself, what do you think the Republicans will do with this information pertaining to Senator Obama’s record?

I am concern that if anyone including the media talks negitive about Obama then we would be considered racist.

If Ohama becomes the presidet of the US the media would not be as hard on him at they have been on President Bush, the media would be afraid to be named a racist, and the negitive inpact it would be to their ratings.

I personally feel afraid to say anything negitive about Obama or people will think that I do not like people of color and that is not true,
