If the government is going to obligate physicians to provide emergency health care regardless of financial status then the people have an obligation to make sure they're covered when the emergency happens. Personally, I don't think either mandate should exist, but you can't have one without the other without destroying the system in the long run. As a side note, are you sure it was Romney's idea to add the mandate and not your liberal congress?
