Clinton Camp: Obama’s Sour Grapes
Barack Obama’s pledge to “directly confront” President Bill Clinton over what Obama says is Clinton’s “troubling” attacks against him on the campaign trail prompted a stinging response from Camp Clinton.
In an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, Obama blasted the former president for getting too involved on his wife’s behalf — and for distorting Obama’s record. “He continues to make statements that are not supported by the facts — whether it’s about my record of opposition to the war in Iraq or our approach to organizing in Las Vegas. This has become a habit, and one of the things that we’re gonna have to do is to directly confront Bill Clinton when he’s making statements that are not factually accurate.”
Clinton campaign spokesman Phil Singer shoots back, “We understand Senator Obama is frustrated by his loss in Nevada but facts are facts. Senator Obama’s allies in Nevada engaged in strong arm tactics and intimidation against our supporters and his record against the war has been inconsistent.”
“President Clinton is a huge asset to our campaign and will continue talking to the American people to press the case for Senator Clinton.”
Clinton has called Obama’s claim to consistently oppose the war since 2002 a “fairy tale,” citing Obama’s 2004 claim that he didn’t know how he would vote on Iraq had he been in the senate at the time. Obama says he didn’t want to be seen as criticizing the party’s presidential nominee John Kerry, who voted for the Iraq war resolution.
And Clinton claimed to have witnessed intimidation of potential caucus goers by Obama supporters in the influential Culinary Workers union in Las Vegas firsthand as he toured a casino caucus site yesterday morning. The campaign backs up his assertions here.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE. iF YOU CAN USE OPRAH FOR A CRUTCH, THEN WHY CAN’T hILLARY USE BILL. WELL EXCUUUUUUUUUUSE ME. jUST LIKE A SPOILED KID YOU ARE….GO HILLARY!!!!
Well, you’re right about there being a disparaty. Oprah isn’t busting a vessel while lying about Hillary.
GO HILLARY GO!!! Bring him into the ring and let the best person wins. Obama is not strong enough to take the jabs. For someone claiming sound judgment(s) he is now displaying no judgments as he is being roped in by the Clinton campaign.
1. Oprah is not given airtime on the evening news every night in addition to the candidate she is supporting.
2. I think the strong arm tactics were Hillary and the NEA ( which I just resigned from) trying to disenfranchise voters.
Slick Willie is rolling over Obama shamelessly as he tries to regain his White House pulpit, but he will be remembered as a jerk. Obama is so much better - would do so much for our stature in the world. It breaks my heart….
Good to see Obama going after the garbage the Clintons and their friends are pumping out. They have gone too far.
Sorry Marge it’s not the same at all. People who voted for Bill Clinton and liked Bill Clinton are going to vote for Hillary because they know they’re getting Bill Clinton again or at least his influence in the white house again. People aren’t going to vote for Obama because they expect Oprah to be calling him and helping him run the white house. All Oprah does is doing is saying she thinks he is a good candidate.
Also I’m saddened people would vote for someone as dirty as Hillary. She has done nothing but been two faced towards Obama. When she is loosing she attacks and attacks him like the dirty politician the Clintons are. Then when she’s winning she’s all smiles and trying to come off as a nice compassionate candidate. Hillary if you ever want my vote please choose and stick with one of your infinite public personas. Unlike Clinton, Obama has handled the endless smear campaigns thrown at him by the Clintons and Republicans like a true gentlemen. His character truely shines and I hope our voters are intelligent enough to see this and look through the Clintons slimy political machine.
A young, brave Obama is running for president against two Clintons combined. He has maintained to run a positive, up-lifting campaign even though the Clintons have been consistently running negative and smear campaign after Iowa.
So far, Obama has won the Iowa pledged delegates by 1, tied the NH delegates, and won the Nevada delegates by 1 against the powerful Clinton machine ran by a former president and a former First Lady. Nevada is not a loss to Obama. I am sure that Hillary would rather have Obama’s result in Nevada because as her campaign managers David Wolfson said that after Iowa and NH, it is the delegates that counts, not winning a state.
If Obama loses to the Clintons, the democrats can not win in November. The country is sick of division, playing political favor, and scoring political points without good judgment, leadership, and inspiring and unifying ability to solve real issues.
By the way, if your a women please show your intelligence by not voting for Hillary solely based on her gender. I would love a woman as a president, but I don’t want to see Hillary being the one when Obama is by far a better candidate and shows much more virtue and character then Hillary ever has.
Yes, Hillary is using her discusting and filthy husband Bill - who committed his nasty sexual acts in the white house to prove her life of a 35 year career (joke)! You make think Hillary is winning but its not truuueeee… Obama has more delegates - and get ready South Carolina!
The thought of another Clinton in the Whitehouse makes me cringe. They are lying manipulative thieves who will do anything possible to gain power.
I’m one, (of many, I suspect) democrats that will NOT vote for Hillary Clinton - EVER.
I want REAL change. I want a FRESH voice to lead our nation.
A vote for Hillary is a vote for the GOP - unfortunately, the die-hard Clinton fanatics are too stupid to realize this.
Look, it’s not about taking jabs. It’s about solving real problems. The Clintons continue their smear campaign because they know if they can distract from debating about important issues. I’d like to see Hillary step into the ring and debate. That’s how we should determine the best candidate.
Never has a former president done a thing like this. He didn’t campaign for Gore or Kerry. All of a sudden he’s full of energy and rolling over himself.
This makes you wonder: Is this about Bill and Hillary Clinton or about the Democratic Party? The answer is obvious.
Hilllary sends her husband out to defend, fight and lie for her. She is a disgrace to all woman. Will she angrily send our sons, daughters and grandchildren out to die when a foreign leader says something she doesn’t like?
I would love a woman as president, but Hillary is not the woman to represent us!
Mina you shouldn’t ever vote again based on that remark. As stated above, this isn’t about who can eat the most mud without going down or who can take the hardest hits this about who has the best character and experience combined. This is the presidency, not a player hatas award.
I think Hillary is doing a good job. It is not wrong to use all your assets to win. Bill is one of her bests. there are a lot of people out there that think she is the right person for the job. why is it that when people disagre they resort to name calling. let the system play out and may the best person win.
I hear so many talking of Clinton Fatigue already. NOT good for our Party or our Country.
So nice to see that most respondents have their heads on straight here. Scary to see some folks actually falling for the stuff quoted in this article though. “We know Obama is frustrated by his loss in Nevada but…”????!!!! Have you heard this kind of thing since middle school??? These are the kind of words my cousin and I used to exchange when we spent 2 weeks at the beach with each other WHEN WE WERE 7 YEARS OLD. How can any adult countenance such desperate pre-adolescent hootenanny? Oh, and the above commenter was right in referring to Hil’s condescending/compassionate remarks about Obama from the “good” side of her mouth (the side that doesn’t smile, btw–she only smiles when she’s being a true viper…um, every other sentence). She says she’s “proud” of Obama? Raise your hand if you don’t see through this obvious opp to yet again assert her superior “experience”…um…age. ….that anyone can buy this junk is baffling and abominable, really. Oh, and by the way, I’m a woman…and a low-income single mom. Rock on Obama ‘08.
To be fair, they should append Bill’s name to the ballot as well - as Jen said, it is Obama vs. Bill and Hillary Clinton. While Hillary is off “finding her voice” and acting like she really cares, she sends Bill off with the dirty politics.
This is a joke - a sickening joke.
the dems are ripping each other apart. so much for unity. Constitution bans Hillary from being president, but i guess no one cares about the C anymore?
The Obama campaign is quickly approaching its end. Obama has given those inspirational speeches too early, without the policies to back them up, they become old fast and no one seems to remember them any more. That is the problem with our great nation, people just don’t remember things for very long.
bob you should explain you comment better
It’s not the using of her assets we object to, it’s the blatant, bald-faced lies. Bill Clinton seems to be of the scary mindset that if you say something, anything, angrily enough, PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE IT. And you know what? He’s right. THEY DO. THEY STILL BELIEVE BILL CLINTON. !
Pease
people are adults and they can make up there own minds. if they beleive whats he is saying then thats ok. we all have a choice.
Josh, Perhaps you did not hear his speech today. For the sake of our country I pray Obama’s campaign is not over yet.
Bob, As much as I dislike Hillary. Let’s keep it honest. There is nothing in the constitution banning Hillary from being pres. IF you mean that Bill is trying to get around term limits, that is another story.
James,
You’re absolutely right. This is why I’m not running for president and Barack Obama is….I wouldn’t be able to keep my cool with this kind of thing. I hope Obama can continue to hold the noble of position you’re voicing here in the days ahead. People in other states are watching. I hope. Thank you.
Food for thought friends…
Why, as an independent, I cannot vote for Obama?
o Obama’s message is just empty rhetorics, filled with catchy words, like hope or change. Well, unless he convinces me what kind of change will deliver, who could vote for him? And his record is NULL as today. Who would name an unexperienced guy a CEO to our country? Think about this. Sure, he might have a great future, but he needs to SHOW any sort of results, beyond his church. His is still in the kindergarden of politics.
o Also I see already some African-American leaders (Oprah, Denzel, etc) are making his candidacy a racial one, as they use churches and other forums to push African-Americans to vote for him. Is he becoming a puppet in their hands? At what price for our society? Scary to me…
We need a president for all americans, be they of indian, latino, european, african descent.
o I’ve lived in Chicago for the last 7 years and everybody knew that fundraiser Tony Rezko, a Chicago businessman was corrupt, was under federal investigation for influence-peddling and bank fraud charges. And Obama used his money to get elected senator and now, that he got caught decided to return some money back? Give me a break. All his talk about change is nonsense. Let’s be honest and agree that he is as corrupt as all the politicians in this country are.
But, like the Clintons and just about any other American politician, he has assiduously done just that. According to the Washington Post, Obama has raised $78,915,507 and relied heavily on people such as Kenneth Griffin, a Chicago-based hedge-fund manager who reportedly earned $1.4bn last year. Obama is a con man — nothing more.
It should be illegal for Obama to donate these funds to charities of his choice. He may donate money to agencies that will give him a political gain. How is this ethical coming from Mr Ethics Obama?
o Also Republicans like his candidacy as he will be washed out in case he makes it to the final contest. People seems to be neglecting the Republican machine. For example I can see many Republican web sites against Hillary, but not against Obama. Why? Much harder to defeat Clintons than Obama. Are Clintons or Edward perfect? Noo. But for me Obama stands no chance to win or ability to lead the country. I just want a democrat to win at this time in history. Any democrat is better them corrupted republicans.
I hope democrats will choose a better candidate to represent the party, or we will witness another Busk-like era.
Bill Clinton’s claim that he witnessed voter intimidation seems odd to me.
It’s not that I doubt that people supporting a candidate (either one of them), that they feel strongly about, might get overzealous. I just can’t imagine someone being so clueless
that they would try to strongarm someone to caucus for Obama in the presence of Bill Clinton.
It just doesn’t make sense.
what about global warming. i know bush chooses to ignor that it is geting worse.we need to act now. i think this should be a issue whith canadates.
If this attack against Obama goes on Obama should ask his supporters to vote for the Republican candindate. It seems the Clintons own the Democratic Party.
David,
Such a good point. Maybe Clinton was wearing his invisibility suit. He has one, you know. I just heard him angrily describing it the other day.
Hey Bill, What’s up? Howz yer suit?
In order to win the White House the Clintons are shamefully falsifying Obama’s record and trying to create all the sleaze they can (shame on you Bill). In the process they are dividing the Democratic party and making it very difficult for a Democrat to win the presidential election.
Voters should not forget that Hillary Clinton voted to support the Iraq invasion and has since refused to take responsibility for it. While she blames George Bush for invading Iraq (she innocently casted a vote to invade but didn’t really think George would invade), she has continued to enable the same President Bush in his bellicose actions against Iran. It is hard to take Hillary Clinton at face value. She lacks the moral and ethical prerequisites to be President.
Barack Obama oozes integrity and intelligence. No wonder the Clintons don’t like him.
That is my problem with Hillary, She is just like Bush. She lacks the capacity to admit she made a mistake. She has the same arrogance I see in Bush, the same arrogance that has our country in the mess it is in now.
One thing we all know to be the truth, without a shadow of doubt, is that BILL CLINTON IS A PROVEN AND SELF-CONFESSED LIAR.
Why anybody would listen to a proven pathological Liar is beyond me. He is not only dividing our party, he is alienating many independents that we need to regain the white house. Alas, democrats being democrats, we are our worst enemy.
It’s time that we talk about the “lies the Clintons told us.” Someone please make a movie with the Beatles “Yesterday” in the background. They r so Yesterday. Let’s move on. Go Barak.
Obama won Iowa because of Oprah. Why can’t Hillary win with Bill’s help? After all he is her husband. BTW, can Obama ask his wife to stope race baiting by saying blacks who don’t vote for Obama don’t get it?
Well, what can I say, I like Hillary and her husband was a terrific president. I know he was very well liked in most countries in this world, and Hillary will be the same. She is intelligent, shar, energetic, honest, good mother. So give her a chance. We won’t be disappointed!!! Fred
Good on ya, Joe. I do think Bill has shame somewhere deep inside there, or he wouldn’t engage in the addictive behaviors he’s known for. Hillary, though? Uck. She tends to smile when the word shame comes up. Poor old gal.
I think it is funny that people like to bring up the iraq vote against hillary. I give her credit for vasting a vote and not sitting on the side line waiting for a openion poll. if you are going to be a leader you have to step up and lead. obama is a follower, he let other people lead the way with a vote and then spoke gainst them for voting.
I might add one point. Obama is looking more like Bush by the day. One day he claims that Republicans have the great ideas and the next day he claim victory in Nevada even though he lost the popular vote. What else is changing?
Senator Obama has consistently taken the high road - which is the way to unite people rather than divide them! I liked Bill Clinton and thought he was truning into a statesman. Obviously I have lost all respect for his lies and mis-statements and the Clinton Campaign takes not only the low road but a lot of time in the gutter… Raising an issue with Oprah is such a lame statement and plain racist! She just endorsed Senator Obama… you never see her on television or attacking Hillary Clinton! The Clinton’s are bringing back the tactics of James Carvell and Karl Rove - No respect for either!
Sorry Hillary - I may have to vote Republican if you get the Nomination because you show the same ruthless ethics that have resulted in 8 years of Bush Wacking! Obama, while sometimes naive is a lot more like Bobby Kennedy and his search for optimism and hope!
Give the people of Iowa a bit more credit. They are the most educated voters in the country. My son and daughter in law are Hawkeyes and they tell me that they, as well as everyone they know, went to see EVERY candidate. They really weigh all of the candidates. And as for intimidation…Cllinton supporters tried to shame my daughter in law into switching to Clinton at caucus by playing the gender card.
I’ll be voting for Hillary Clinton, but I would not be doing it if the breadth of her political and governmental experience consisted of 2 years in the Senate. I’m pretty sure that any woman who tried running for president with such little practical experience would be laughed off the field.
Hilary has said that she and Bill are a team. Bill has stated he will be going door to door in South Carolina. He has and will continue to campaign on behalf of his wife! If I were Obama I would cave in and let him in the campaign! I would run a tv add featuring Bill and the stained dress dress. I would include the clips of him shaking his finger and shouting at the American people, “I did not have sex with that women!” I would show the 90’s clips of him and Hilary as they prepared for his impeachment and white water hearings.
Get the picture? This is what the Nevada/ New Hampshire Democrates said that wanted back into back into the White House. Do the Democrates think for one minute the INDEPENDENTS or any Republican would cast their vote for this kind of CHANGE?
If Hilary Clinton and her TEAM-MATE get the Democratic nod, this Democrate will be searching for a Republician canidate!! MAC IS BACK!!! This phase is easier to defend than the Clintons return to the throne!!
good move by obama. bill clinton is a loser.
hey jeff
obama did two terms in the state senate and then came to the US senate. that is more legislative time than hillary.
Kelly, Obama does not need to do that. That is not the kind of man he is.
can hilary handle going to war. is she strong on imergration.
Hey Paul - Read/Listen to All Baracks comments - not just the ones the Clinton’s want you to hear!
He said that Ron Reagan had more solid/creative ideas that went against conventional wisdom… So the problem with that? It is also called bringing the parties together rather than divide them!! Guess you have aproblem with that.. as do the Clintons - obviously!
And he did WIN in Nevada - he got 13 delegates to Hillaries 12… That’s how it goes!
Why not just suck it up!
the clintons are losers and racist.
Hey Jeff - Why not get to know your candidates before you vote and make assine statements!
Sleeping in the WHite House does not count on “experience” either!!! Heck if that was what experience is all about Monica Lewinsky should run for Vice President!
barack why dont he raise his hand to the flag. is he a muslim
Wow. The Hillary supporters represent ignorance amok. I too want a woman to be President, and I agree that Hillary is NOT the candidate. She is a Republican in Democrats clothing.
While Reminiscing about Bills Presidency, the balanced budget…Did everyone forget that he went on trial regarding his actions with Monica Lewinsky, was investigated for corrupt dealings in the White Water deal, accused by Paula Jones of misconduct, and the other gal….Gennifer Flowers? HE LIED under oath, squirming his way out of having to tell the truth, his wife by his side at every step of the way defending him.
WAKE UP CLINTON FANS. If soap opera is what you want, then buyer beware.
If you ACTUALLY believe in this country, in the idea and principles that it was founded upon and you REALLY want change, then stand behind Barack Obama. Be intelligent enough to ignore the propaganda. Get informed, use your heads.
The Clintons are corrupt. There is much proof to back it.
Barack Obama is an American first, politician second. He is a civil rights lawyer who walked away from a great paying job to work cheap as a community organizer. He made a personal sacrifice for the bigger picture of helping those that needed someone to stand up and be a voice for them in a time when no one would listen.
Barack Obama is a genuine man. His principles, his ideals, his integrity cannot be disputed or challenged. He is the fist leader in 40 years that speaks of bringing our people together and lifting up our country and restoring our name in the global community.
He is not disillusioned as the Clinton camp will suggest, he has hope, HOPE for all of us that life can be better. All we have to do is stand behind him and put him in a position , the Presidency, where he can achieve those objective’s for all of us.
The Clinton camp is desperate. She is clawing at anything she can to discredit him.
Don’t buy into the fear machine. Think for yourselves. Stand UP for your rights and your future.
Food for thought:
AMERICA: FREEDOM TO FASCISM., by Aaron Russo
You’ll see starring roles by Bill Clinton and his corruption during his Presidency, as well as a tid-bit from a fellow who admitted to writing a computer program that rigged an election in the state of Florida, making Jeb Bush the winner…oh yeah, the film is mostly about the FACT that there is nothing on the books, the 16th Amendment, that states that the government has the right to tax Americans on their perosnal Income tax.
The IRS knows it is false, but they enforce their right to do so through brute force, coersion, seizure of property and imprisonment….It is the biggest coo against the American people perpetrated by their government and kept alive by the corrupt individuals in elected office. Challenge them and they will audit and harrass you, make you out to be a fool, “smear” your good name, discredit you….Sound like a typical Presidencial campaign?
SICKO, Michael Moore.
Found out just how much Hillary has received in cash from the Health Care industry….now I know why she wants to make it a LAW that all Americans get health ins…she is looking out for her new friends, Mr. Bread and Mrs. Butter…but hey, HER family is covered
V-FOR VENDETTA,
Get your patriotic grit up…Americans need to learn how to come together and demand change from our government, united as one force.
My Fellow Americans, something very serious has gone wrong in this country. Our government, on the surface, is supposedly for the people, by the people.
Fact: We are no longer REALLY in control. We haven’t been in control for decades.
People should not fear their government, the government should fear it’s people.
IF we, the united public, want our government back….the time is now.
Do not be afraid to challenge our government, it is our duty and our obligation. As long as there is mankind running the show, there will always be a weakness toward corruption. This is precisely why our fore-fathers created the system of checks and balances. They came from corruption and started a new life. History repeats itself and human nature is constant. We have slipped back into corruption again and it is up the American people to reclaim our government.
Our government was structured to avoid one house having to much power over the other, that decisions by our country were to be agreed upon by a majority.
George Bush, through “Cheney’s Law…(look it up, google it, it’s real) has given himself power that supercedes that of the other two branches. BGeorge Bush now doesn’t need congresses (the peoples) approval to act.
Those are the acts of a dictator….he’ll tell you it’s for you own good…..That is the beginning of a totalitarianism state. The Clinton’s are wrapped up in this too.
Elect Barack Obama.
Let us have another Republican President. Nominate Obama!
Mutt & Jeff have pulled all the stops and will do anything to win the election ((good gal Hillary v/s bad guy Bill).
Barak is not a Muslim. THe Clintons are just going out of their way (through surrogates of course) to try and imply that he is.
Cathy,
I think I understand what kind of man Obama is. He is a wonderful person with a decent heart. So was John Kerry….. He fought for his country and was slammed by people just like Bill Clinton. I’m not askin Obama to lie about anything…I’m asking him to remind the American people where we’ve come from! You don’t think the Republicans will?
Get real. You can be a dreamer and a realist at the same time. Obama has to get the nomination before he can change anything!!
50% of the country will never vote for Hillary. Add to that a significant minority of Democrats (they’re not going to vote for a Republican, but they won’t vote period). She will never win. End of story.
“Sorry Marge it’s not the same at all. People who voted for Bill Clinton and liked Bill Clinton are going to vote for Hillary because they know they’re getting Bill Clinton again or at least his influence in the white house again”
I liked Bill Clinton. I still like him and respect him and his wife. They are great Americans and have
accomplished great things. I see them like athletes that don`t know when its time to quit at the top and ride into the sunset. They have had enough in the spotlight and have been tested severly .Some tests have been self inflicted, some from external . I remember Muhammad Ali getting crushed at the end of his career. I cried. He didn`t realize his time had passed.
” To everything there is a season” and this is the season for Barack Obama. Lets face it. The well financed coalition that is labeled “The Republican Party” will have a hay day with Hillary and Bill Clinton. Hillary brings out the worst in them. They will fight “tooth and nail” because so many of these right wingers The disdain that many have for the Clintons will motivate them. Hillary is the only catalyst that I can think of that will provide the vital ingredient for a Republican win.
Barack Obama is well respected by his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. He has some baggage ( he did drugs as a kid) Who didn`t ?. His personal and political baggage is minuscule when compared to the Clintons. Yes, Bill is a great man and was a great President. This is a different time and we need credibility with our allies. We don`t need more scepticism and doubt.
We need to trust our government and Barack Obama has been honest and clear, genuine and
direct. His presidency will negate race and gender and we can move closer to a nation where ”
truth and justice for all” is more than a slogan.
I used to really like Bill Clinton. But watching him lie and intentionally try to confuse voters in this campaign I have lost all respect for him. While some people will support the Clintons no matter what, I believe the vast majority of Americans are decent people who would be repulsed by how Hillary and Bill are running this campaign, their behaviour and and the lies they have told to the American public. Clinton supporters really should look into the facts about the differences in the candidates records on the war, and what happened in Nevada.

barack why dont he raise his hand to the flag. is he a muslim
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Another comment of ignorance of the facts. Barack Obama has never been a Muslim… he is a Christian. Oh and you don’t “raise your hand to the flag” That was Nazi Germany - kenneth! Barack does cover his chest with his hand when he recites the Pledge of Allegiance… which he personally leads in the Senate on several occasions…
Problem is with bigots - they NEVER let the FACTS get in the way!!
Please keep the lies and smears for another column!
Thank you!
PS: Dear Kenneth
Barack is not muslim.
Congratulations, the smear tactics worked. You were fooled. One more point for the Clinton camp.
Barack Obama is Christian, he swore in on a bible, he cites the Pledge Of Allegiance. He puts his hand over his heart when he says it.
If you can believe lies so readily without proof, then you should just as easily believe the truths.
Get the facts, learn about him, READ.
Please come on! no more husband/wife father/son combo’s !!
We dont need Bill running the country again do we? He LIED and is a LIAR, was impeached, and now people are voting him back into the picture to assist with more lies.
“I didnt inhale” “I didnt have sexual realtions” Ya go ahead America vote that crap right back in to office.
Is Canada taking applications?
how come barack dont raise his hand to the national anthem.
I agree… It is such a turn off to see Bill out there “running for Office again” I mean stumping so hard for Hillary. Maybe old George should have Lora run so he can serve a 3rd term in office without us knowing!!
it was was on the news that he dint raise his hand.
He did not say ‘the Republicans have the great ideas.” Please get your facts straight. You owe it to yourself and everyone else to look deeper than the Clinton spin on reality.
i like hilary i think she is srong for the country.
Davide, I love your comment, keep ‘em comin’.
Our former President “Bill” is famous for lying. Mr. Obama need not dignify “Bill” with a comment. Also, Hillary has experience as a first lady…that’s it people!!!! If she gets the endorsement it will be my FIRST TIME voting Republican. Kelly’s comments are so true.
Isn’t scary to hear how many people actually cast a ballot knowing nothing about positions only name recognition? I hope as many people recognize Hillary Clinton as the name they DO NOT WANT!!
Kenneth are you spelling so poorly as some sort of statement?
I can’t believe Obama has the nerve to complain about Bill when you look at the cheap shots Michelle Obama says about Hillary. If it’s because Bill’s words have a lot more weight - well that’s just too bad.
hilary is the only one that makes sense.
See this this the problem, Obama uses Oprah for star power, Hillary used Bill Clinton, and former President with a great track record… NOw ask yourself, who is most qualified to be President? Obama with a talk show host supporting him, or A Senator/ former First Lady with an Former 2 term President supporting her… Hillary is the best canidate for the job, this isnt even hard to figure out… Just like adding 1 plus 1…. Wake up America!!! Stop letting the news media influence they way you think, THINK FOR YOURSELF!!!!!!!
Cathy, let’s do the dress ad for him! Then he can denounce it but the idea will still be indelibly stamped on the minds of the american people! Oops….that’s the kind of stuff the other side does. Um…which other side? Carl Rove? Billary? Wait, I’m so confused…..
Andrew yes all his word have wieght, it’s covered in crap.
Face it folks. A year ago Romney had zero recognition and was polling around 2-3% in every state.
He now leads the delegate count and is the only candidate not hurting for money.
Game’s over. Mark my words.
Hey Kenneth,
Get a grip Buddy. We don’t raise our hands during the National Antham…. Military raise their hand in a salute….when in uniform. Others place their hand over their heart or stand repectfully…..It is ok to stand respectfully. No hands need to be waving madly…Let loose of everthing you get in your email box ok….
democrats are the only ones not falling apart.
anyhandleleft, I am quite able to think for myself and to add 1 + 1. I do not need your patronizing comments, thank you. I pay very little attention to endorsements. It is Oprah’s choice to endorse Obama, which she has taken a lot of grief for. Clinton has Barbara Striesand and a host of others. An endorsement is very different than using one’s former position as president of the US to get airtime every night and play bad cop.
Think for myself? I am thinking for myself, I always have. Likewise, I support the candidate who thinks for himself. The first one I’ve seen in a while. And it’s not Ron Paul.
What a strange thing to say, “think for yourself”.
All those exclamation points too, anyhandleleft. Really offputting. Really.
Go Barack !
Well, the Dems are not serious about winning in November. Add up Obama’s yrs in the Illinois Legislature and in the US Senate and he still has Hillary beat. Guess what, let the party leaders quietly back Billary because they see big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. They are going to loose to the Repubs if she is the Nominee. I will vote Republican no matter who their nominee is. Michelle is so right………….people have holes in their souls that they are afraid to close. It simply means that thye want to keep people down and oppressed to keep themselves in power and in control.
CHANGE IS HARD BUT IT IS REAL AND WE NEED IT NOW JUST TO SAVE OUR OWN SOULS FROM HELL’S FIRE.
I am a lifelong Democrat and Obama supporter who will never, NEVER, vote for a Clinton again. The thought of having those despicable, “do whatever it takes” liars back in the White House is offensive beyond all measure. Those who are supporting Hillary for the Democratic nomination are sadly underestimating the number of Dems who will vote for John McCain rather th
