Rudy stresses leadership in new ad

In his third Florida TV ad in as many days, Rudy Giuliani is stressing his NYC bio and leadership background. The spot, “It Matters,” is set to air in the West Palm Beach market, home to a large population of ex-New Yorkers.

Script after jump…

“It Matters”:

Voice Over: “When corruption ruled, he challenged it. When welfare failed, he changed it. When crime thrived, he fought it. When government broke, he fixed it. And when the world wavered. And history hesitated. He never did. Rudy Giuliani. Leadership. When it matters most.”

Mayor Giuliani: “I’m Rudy Giuliani and I approve this message.”

Rudy, why did your national polls fall so low, I want you to win the nomination. Your views are in line with mine, however I feel that you might have some unresolved Taliban issues that could cloud your judgement. But that is all speculation on my part. I know you are an efficient manager, and you could do a lot for the government in the way of changing its infrastructure and how things work. All the other contenders are laughable. I think your strategy now should be to point out that you WERE the front runner, and NOW that you ARE NOT the GOP race is divided and we have NO clear front runner. If you could get your TRACTION back in the race maybe the republican party will REUNITE behind you again, STRENGTHENING the chances that the GOP beats the dems in NOVEMBER. Well Hillary, remember republicans should be so scared of her that they would want anyone besides her. Personally if you are not going to be the nominee for the republican party I am going to vote for Obama. And believe me, if you could here some of the stuff he is saying to a guy like me, the youth vote, you would switch parties too.

I pray that Rudy wins the nomination and the Presidency. It is such a shame that his advisers outsmarted themselves and skipped the traditional campaign strategies. Now, we can only hope his big state strategy works in Florida and on Super Tuesday. Unfortunately, the same MSM that calls conservative Rudy a “liberal” seems to ignore the obvious fact that McCain and Huckabee are truly liberals! McCain actually would have run as Kerry’s VP!! I can’t imagine why any Republican would vote for RINO McCain.

What a commercial. I’m sensing a revived Giuliani campaign. I’m so excited. I really think his “CRAZY” plan just might prove to be GENIUS. Rudy is the only canidate I believe who can be an effective president. I’m not attempting to demean the other canidates, but I don’t think they have the life expeirence, management skills (during crisis), and genuinity to be a successful president. I want a president who will get the job done. Giuliani’s record clearly illustrates his effectiveness as an executive leader, whether it come to crime, disaster, education, taxes, health, ect. I believe Giuliani is a realist when it comes to illegal immigration. He has delt with this situation before. I’m positive, without a doubt, Giuliani could help broker a solution to our immigration woes. I feel many of the other canidates have been unrealistic with their illegal immigration proposals. What have they done specifically to deal with illegal immigration? Wrote some legislation? Signed a bill? Giuliani delt with illegal immigration first hand. He delt with dividing the criminals from those looking for opportunity. He worked around a failing federal government program and made lemonade from lemmons. I can’t believe so many have fallen for the catch phrases of the other canidates, when substances truely resides in the record of Rudy Giuliani. I hope in coming days the people of this nation will come to realize how effective a leader Giuliani is capable of being if elected president.

The biggest problem I have with Giuliani is his lack of commitment to the other states. It just doesn’t seem like a presidential attitude. Sort of like - “OK, I want to be president but your state doesn’t really matter to me…It’s a number game and you’re too small so too bad…your vote doesn’t really count to me…your votes in your state are useless to me…I can’t be bothered…” I know that is not what Giuliani said…but it seems like that sort of an attitude. Not presidential. Romney is the only one that cares about every state…every state…and isn’t that what a president is supposed to do? Isn’t that what a president is supposed to care about?

Yes, Rudy has ended up behind Ron Paul in 2 primaries. To gain their supporters, he’s going to start admitting that he planned 9/11.

Based in Australia, I’m forced to support from afar. C’mon Florida! You can do it! Carry Rudy to Super Tuesday!

Though my family left New Jersey in early 2000, I always hear them talking about the most famous NY City Mayor for his ability to lead the largest city in the world. Some of our family members worked for the NY City and had personal knowlegde about his abilities to head the executive branch that rest of the current candidates lack. I hope that the people take the right decision to chose him as the next President who could really make a difference for our country.
Good luck Mayor Giuliani!

Leadership in the face of terrorist attack, is leadership. Giuliani understands why we need a full spectrum plan for the Middle East, rather than just focusing on Iraq.

‘Nuff said.

Rudy is clearly the best leader out of all of the candidates. At a time where everyone is beating to their own drum we need a leader to bring everyone together and to get our country going into the right direction. He is a natural born leader and the best President’s in our country’s history are the ones that are the natural leaders. We need someone who truly believes in his own judgement and is willing to make hard decisions based off of what is correct instead of basing it off of public opinion. Rudy is someone whom is willing to stand up against all of our opponents of the world without hesitation. Our stance in the world will become solidified with a true leader like Rudy. He doesn’t threat or make up political non sense to attract his support, he only makes promises in which he has proven time after time that he will keep and follow through with until the end. It would be a grave injustice to everyone in our country if we do not give this great leader and possibly the greatest leader of our time the opportunity to lead the greatest country in the world. If we give him a chance he’ll take us places we could have only dreamed about.

Whether you like him or not, so far Rudy Giuliani’s strategy is working - focus on delegate-rich state of Florida and super duper Tuesday while every other Republican primary’s delegates are split between 3 candidates. So far it looks very good for the Giuliani campaign, but we’ll see.

his ads are compelling and once again it ticks me off that the media is portraying his latest ad as if he was moving while everyone else was waiting around doing nothing during and after 9/11… freakin morons, if you pay attention, the ad is basically saying that basically time was standing still and everyone had their hands on their cheeks saying “o my god, i cant believe this is happening”…..very compelling… GO RUDY !!!!!
