Clinton Alleges Voter Intimidation

At a stop in Northern Nevada today, Hillary Clinton accused “some unions in the South” of intimidating members into not coming to caucus if they don’t support the union’s candidate — a clear reference to the Obama-supporting Culinary Workers Union in Las Vegas.

“I have some concerns about the process, and i want to be really clear about this to everyone,” she said. “I’m afraid some people may feel that they can’t come, or they shouldn’t come, or they can’t support the candidate of their choice. We know that there are some unions in the South that are telling people who to caucus for, and if they’re not going to for who they choose don’t come at all”

“I don’t think that’s right. I don’t think that’s the American way.”

She urged all presidential candidate and unions — including those who support her — to cease and desist any such tactics. “I’m calling on all the candidates and all the unions to make clear to their supporters and their members: the people in NV, a free and independent state with very independent people, are free to stand up for the candidate of their choice,” she said.

“I’m asking all the candidates and all the unions, including unions who are supporting me to make it abundantly clear, there will be no interference with anybody’s right to caucus for who they think will make the best President.”

The campaign has been alleging other instances of voter intimidation in Las Vegas; on a conference call today, supporter Dolores Huerta said workers at the Hilton had been told they would not be provided transportation to the caucuses if they were not backing Obama.

Vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton all the way.

She does not preach Ebonics and she does turn blacks against other presidential candidates like Obama does.

Obama’s sent out a misleading Memo to blackmail Hillary Clinton.
I am black and I read the Memo and I knew what Obama was up to.
To turn black voters against Hillary Clinton, but I am not a fool.
So, Obama cannot lie that he is a “Uniter” and turn around to instigate black voters against Hillary Clinton and other presidential candidates.

Enough of the Obamatricks!

Besides intimdation, it seems that proving you ID and right to vote at all is kinda wonky…..if this is the stand up on one side of room thing, that could be kinda creepy….if it is private paper vote then that will be better. Hope there is a lot of chaparoning so people can vote their choice.

This is one of the problems with unions. It’s worse than peer pressure.

Voter intimidation is simply wrong.

If any candidate won as a result of voter intimidation, they should step down.

Give me a break! She lost the lawsuit where she was trying TO DO what she is speaking out against today. That is so manipulative and dishonest. I truly hope that people realize that she is a liar and will do anything at all to win including sale her soul. People, don’t vote for her because I guarantee that all of her promises are going to turn out to be empty. She thinks we are stupid.

Now first of all, I agree and I don’t think unions should intimidate voters…… however Clinton is clearly upset at the endorsement of the culinary workers union for Obama, so now she appears to be accussing them of voter intimidation. After people who supported her unsuccessfully tried to stop those unions from being able to vote, it seems a bit hypocritical that her people tried to prevent people from voting. Now she is making accusations, has anyone come forward and said they were intimadated by their union?
I don’t feel Hillary would be claiming this if the culinary workers union had endorsed her.

The caucus rules for Nevada were ratified in August, with no parties claiming foul until the Culinary Union delared it was backing Obama. Where was this teacher’s union months prior to file this lawsuit if that was their complaint? Why did they wait to file suit until their candidate (Hillary) was sure that she didn’t get their support? It’s pretty transparent to me.

Any serious thinker would not fall for Hill’s manipulative ways. There is absolutely nothing that is said or played by the Clinton gang without serious planning with her involvement. There are no spur of the moments comments like “I did not know anything about that” or “See, I am a person after all.”

In case you did not know, she played alot of New Hampshire folks to get at their feelings, instead of serious thought provoking ideas. And look at the timing of her acting, right after she was loosing miserably in the polls, and right before the voting began.

She lost in court to stop the unions, so look what she is saying now.

Overall, she has failed at every major issue, and she will fail again. She only wants one thing, to be president for her own self glory, not to serve America.

Hillary and Bill (remember it’s 2 for 1) need to stop the lying, spinning, manipulating and stick to the issues. I’d like a few more details about what she plans to do and HOW–not, poor me, I was so distraught when I heard about Monica! Vote for Obama and save the country from 4 more years of the Clintons!

Consider what America got with the first Clinton co-Presidency:

• Abuse of the powers of the office of the President
• Granting Presidential pardons to buy Hillary’s election to the Senate. As a woman who made it on my own, Hillary’s need to ride Bill’s coattails and her sense of entitlement (as in “it’s my turn and Obama should wait his turn”) makes me doubt her capabilities.
• Hillary’s long-suffering marriage to Bill, enabling a lifetime of sexual trysts and trying to contain the Bimbo eruptions, gives me a President without the backbone to stand up to a man. Hillary claims to be tough enough to play with the boys when, in fact, she is unable to leave a cheating husband. How will she stand up to other male leaders who see this in “Mrs.” Clinton and walk all over her?
• Being married to a former President does not make one qualified to be President.
Hillary has less experience in elected office than Barack. She’s held elected office for one Senate term plus one year and has introduced no major legislation during that time. Is this the kind of experience we want in the Oval Office?
I am not a “Hillary hater;” I am an America lover. Please consider very carefully which candidate the Democratic Party puts on the ballot. The future of this country absolutely depends on it.

Caucusing in public in front of your union bosses.
Sound real democratic.

Ha!!!! Well, I am a member of the Teachers Union and I would never in a billion years vote for Hillary. I feel so betrayed and disgusted that my union is supporting such an inferior candidate - and all the things she is accusing the Culinary Union of are probably not true of them but are certainly true of the Teachers’ Union. That is one sick union and most members despise Hillary yet their money goes to ensuring that she has delegates…What a disaster…When I hear what she says I know what she means…but it’s to her benefit!!!!!

From my view in northern Nevada, the fundamenal problem with the caucus versus primary is that everyone in the room (including union bosses and precinct captains) knows how you are voting. I always speak my mind, and don’t have a problem disclosing my vote. But, I’m self-employed, not subject to pressure from union agents. This caucus system is particularly coercive for voters who have no choice but to vote from their place of employment — under the watchful eye of the union bosses.

-Mike (25-year Libertarian, registering at the door to caucus for Obama, cause he at least professes knowledge of and allegiance to the Constitution).

Hillary makes the Democrats and women look bad by trying to manipulate and distort democracy. Amazing how she pulls everyone down into the gutter when things don’t go her way. She would be very bad for America.

So the Clintons are up in arms that Obama supporters are running an ad in Spanish that calls Hillary a “sinverguenza” (shameless).

In Spanish there is a phrase for the way the Clintons and their surrogates (read: trained seals)savage their opponents …

They “throw stones and then hide their hands.”

That in itself would qualify Hillary–who professes not only innocence but victimhood in nearly all instances–and her followers as “sinverguenzas” (shameless).

There is another Spanish phrase that comes to mind here …

“The truth hurts, but it doesn’t offend.”

Except in the case of the Clintons, they pretend that it does.

Que sinverguenzas!!!

Does no one remember the Clintons history. They can not be trusted. Please, see them as self serving politicans…… it’s so obvious.

Hillary should call the Cops if voters are being intimated. I guess she will apologize for her comments after the veiled smear.

Dear Union workers:
I’m sorry that you are so divided. People have always been led to vote against their own best interests and I see it happening again. You may not like Hillary, but you should know, you really should know, she does have your best interests at heart. Also, she can make stuff happen, not just make promising noises.

Bottom Line:

Like all of you. I know that health care is the most critical, and important issue facing the American people. Now, and in the coming elections. And like the vast majority of the American people, I want HR 676 (Medicare For All) passed into law NOW! “Single payer, Tax Supported, Not For Profit, True Universal Health Care” free for all as a right. Like every other developed country in the world has. See: http://www.house.gov/conyers/news_hr676.htm

“HR 676:
For church goers: less money to insur. companies and more to the church- lots more.
Srs on Medicare: save way over $100/wk. Because no more medigap, long term care & dental insur. needed. No more drug bills.”

But if we the American people fail to bring enough pressure on our current politicians to get HR 676 passed into law before the elections. We will have to identify, and replace all the politicians standing in the way of passage of HR 676. And, I think the best first place to start is with the politicians that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bills for the kids. Passed by congress twice.

But what about the President. It was Bush after all that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bill passed by congress to assure more health coverage for Americas kids. So which of the presidential hopefuls do I think will be most supportive of implementing the demand of the majority of the American people to have HR 676 (Medicare For All) passed into law immediately!

We have some very fine presidential candidates who would make good presidents. But none of the top Presidential candidates directly support HR 676, the only true Universal Health Care plan. So I am supporting Hillary Clinton. She is the only top candidate that has ever actually fought for universal health care before.

I have enormous admiration, and respect for Hillary Clinton. She fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds back in 1993. To prevent this disastrous health care crisis that is now devastating the American people, and America. She fought so hard for the American people that she risk almost completely destroying her husbands presidency. I haven’t forgotten her heroic effort. If any Presidential hopeful for universal health care deserves my support, it’s her.

Also, if we the American people fail to bring enough pressure on our government to give us HR 676 which we all so desperately need NOW! Then we will need the most skilled politician we can get on our side to broker the best health care plan for the American people that we can get. Though it will be less than we need, and less than we deserve. The politician I think to best do this is Hillary Clinton. The Clinton’s are probably the most skilled politicians in American history.

The insurance industry, and medical industry that has been ripping you off, and killing you has given Hillary Clinton so much money because they fear her. They have also given Barack Obama so much money because they fear Hillary Clinton. They think they can manipulate Barack Obama against the best interest of the American people better than they can manipulate Hillary Clinton. There is no race issue with Hillary Clinton. The Clinton’s are the poster family for how African Americans want white people to be towards African Americans.

My fellow Americans, you are dieing needlessly at an astounding rate. In higher numbers than any other people in the developed world. Rich, and poor a like. Insured, and uninsured. Men, women, children, and babies. And we the American people must stop it. And fix it NOW! Keep Fighting!!! Never! give up hope. There are millions of lives at stake. Bless you all… You are doing great!

Your absolutely right .. it is democratic to vote in public and in front of your peers, and the opportunity should be given to vote anywhere in America. You also have to be American enough to vote your conscious despite the circumstances.

Who is going to win tonight Hillary or Billary? As a democrat I don’t care, both are bad for the country. They are both corrupt dishonest people. If they don’t get their way they will attack any person who gets in their way. So go ahead Bill attack the news people, get mad, when you are caught in a lie, you are one of the best liers, and Hillary go ahead and cry, and you said I decided to save my marriage because it was the best for me, I new I could not get elected without Bills help and he so much wants to be back in the white house. What has happen to our party, we are going down the gutter.

I just don’t get all this hatred for Mrs. Clinton. Why do you call her a liar?????? She has done absolutely NOTHING but fight for women’s and children’s causes. Please consider reading about her on Wikipedia or another biography source.(easily accessed through the internet) You all have been brain washed by Fox news and Rush Limbaugh and others. Are you a herd of sheep??? Can you think for yourselves???? Can you do some research and waste 10 minutes to actually read about the candidate before you spread nasty remarks and hatred??????
