Romney Wins in Michigan

Southfield, MI-

Governor Romney declared victory tonight standing next to his family in front of a crowd of supporters. With 67 percent reporting Romney had a decisive victory with 39% over McCain’s 30%. The Michigan native celebrated his first win and continued his message of optimism that he campaigns on:

“Tonight proves that you can’t tell an American that there’s something they just can’t do because Americans can do whatever they set their hearts on. And tonight is a victory of optimism over Washington-style pessimism.”

While campaigning here Romney has been promising Michiganders the he will help revitalize their economy. He has also been pushing the theme of a broken Washington and how he is the man to fix it:

“Tonight we are celebrating here in Michigan, I’ve got to tell you that.” Romney continued, “Guess what they’re doing in Washington? They’re worrying because they realize, the lobbyists and the politicians realize, that America now understands that Washington is broken and we’re going to do something about it.”

The enthusiastic crowd chanted, “We Want Mitt! We Want Mitt!” as they waited for Romney to take the stage. He came out early while rival Senator John McCain was still addressing his supporters in South Carolina. McCain had already called Romney to concede victory and wish him congratulations. Later this evening, Governor Huckabee did the same.

Romney previewed what is coming up next in the campaign:

“Let’s take this campaign to South Carolina and Nevada and Florida and all over the country. Let’s take it all the way to the White House.”

But, the campaign is more cautious instead saying, “Nevada is not a gimme. . .You have to get out and earn it.”

Since his second place finish in Iowa, Romney has been listing his wins in Olympic medal form at most campaign stops. Before tonight he often said he has 2 silvers (Iowa and New Hampshire) and one gold (Wyoming). But, this evening Romney did not mention his beloved Olympic medals once during his victory speech.

With gold medals in two states (WY and MI) and two silver medals in the other two states (IA and NH), it looks like Romney is making those “news polls” look rediculous. Not only has he overcome the negative media (for now), he also has almost twice as many delegate votes (36) then his closest rival McCain (19). In this tight race it is going to be the candidate with the most delegates who will win. Romney knows this, just as he knows how to run businesses, how to graduate with dual degrees from Harvard, how to run MA, how to rescue a failing olympics in SLC, and how to run a family with good moral values. Some say he sees “fake.” Maybe that’s because we can’t relate to such a wonderful man. We don’t believe it is possible that a man can be this good. Well, let’s hope he is because Heaven knows America needs it now more than ever.

Nevada has more delegates than South Carolina. Mitt Romney will win there, but the media won’t report it because it is in the West.

Wyoming has more delegates than New Hampshire, but the media doesn’t report it because it is in the West.

The media is doing more to disenfranchise the American voter than any other entity.

On election night, we in Seattle already know the outcome of the national races (according to the self-described ‘experts’ who missed Romney winning by 25%, and HIllary winning when they had her losing by9%).

Dear Media–REPORT THE NEWS LET US DECIDE WHAT IT MEANS.

We aren’t stoopiddd…we know why we don’t like Barack–no experience…and Hillary–taxes taxes taxes taxes taxes…more government, less freedom…

Mitt Romney is the front-runner, but the media doesn’t report it because it doesn’t fit the script that they wrote for this election.

Mitt will win more Western states than all of the other candidates combined and he will win the nomination because (unlike the pundits) Mitt knows how to count delegates. He also knows how to crunch numbers and how to return America to fiscal discipline and sanity.

Mitt is the best choice to be the chief executive of the executive branch of the federal government.

Mitt is presidential. No other candidate has the experience, education and successful record that Mitt has. period.
